  • Oct 28, 2026AI ChatBot for WooCommerce – WoowBot: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-111372 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The AI ChatBot for WooCommerce – WoowBot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to repeatedly trigger RAG document sync operations that issue paid embedding API calls to OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter, or xAI charged to the site administrator's stored API key, draining their AI API credits and causing financial loss. The wp_chatbot nonce required to reach this endpoint is emitted to every authenticated frontend visitor via wp_localize_script, making it trivially obtainable by any subscriber-level account.

  • Oct 28, 2026MxChat – AI Chatbot & Content Generation for: Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-110662 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The MxChat – AI Chatbot & Content Generation for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'feedback' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.25 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The stored payload is written by any unauthenticated visitor via a single POST to admin-ajax.php and detonates automatically when any administrator next loads the Transcripts page.

  • Oct 27, 2026The AI Marketing Expert — AI Email Marketing, AI Content Generator, SEO Analyzer, AI Workflow Automation, Social Media & Ai Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnCVE-2026-109999 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The AI Marketing Expert — AI Email Marketing, AI Content Generator, SEO Analyzer, AI Workflow Automation, Social Media & Ai Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires only that the chatbot module is active with at least one configured bot; the attacker stores the payload via three unauthenticated REST calls, and the JavaScript widget auto-poll then delivers it to any administrator who opens wp-admin/index.php.

  • Oct 1, 2026AI Engine – The Chatbot, AI Framework & MCP for: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96561 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The AI Engine – The Chatbot, AI Framework & MCP for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 3.8.0 This is due to a chain of missing input neutralization and output escaping across the /mwai-ui/v1/chats/submit REST endpoint, the PHP error-log parser (MeowKit_MWAI_Helpers::php_error_logs), the Advisor task (Meow_MWAI_Modules_Advisor::run_advisor), and the Advisor dashboard widget (advisor_metabox): the server-parameter denylist in chat_submit strips only exact key names such as 'model' while convert_keys() later canonicalizes 'model_' back to 'model', allowing an unauthenticated caller to place an attacker-controlled string (including CR/LF) into $query->model; final_checks() throws an Exception whose message embeds that raw string, and the non-streaming, non-admin catch branch writes it to the PHP error log unmodified — creating a forged log line that the plugin's own parser subsequently returns as recent PHP-error content; run_advisor() then appends that content verbatim to the AI prompt (indirect prompt injection — CWE-1427), the returned JSON is stored in the mwai_advisor_data option with no schema validation o

  • Sep 1, 2026BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-75980 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Heading 'id' Attribute in Post Content in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit survives wp_kses_post because entity-encoded quotes in a heading id attribute are treated as a single legitimate attribute value at save time; the dangerous payload only materialises after process_content_for_toc() calls html_entity_decode() on the stored content and the broken id is extracted by a lazy regex before being echoed unescaped into the Table of Contents output.

  • Sep 1, 2026Support Genix – Helpdesk, AI Chatbot, Knowledge Base & Customer Support Ticketing System: Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account TakeoverCVE-2026-19806 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Support Genix – Helpdesk, AI Chatbot, Knowledge Base & Customer Support Ticketing System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.52 via the `guest_ticket_login()` function and its `p` parameter. This is due to the site-wide AES-256-CBC encryption key being derived from only three two-digit `wp_rand(10, 99)` values and a Unix timestamp via `md5()` — yielding approximately 19.5 bits of entropy — combined with a deterministic IV derived from the password, no authentication tag on the ciphertext, and no capability check, nonce, or session validation on the publicly reachable `/sgnix/?p=<token>` endpoint. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, who can obtain a single legitimate guest ticket token as a known-plaintext oracle and bound the plugin activation timestamp, to exhaust the ~729,000-candidate keyspace entirely offline, recover the site-wide encryption key, and forge a self-consistent `{ticket_id, ticket_user}` token targeting any administrator-owned ticket. • Aug 25, 2026Typebot is an open-source chatbot builder.CVE-2026-62865 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Typebot is an open-source chatbot builder. In self-hosted versions prior to 3.18.0, the server-side Send Email integration block allows arbitrary reading of local files on the server. The block builds Nodemailer attachments from a typebot variable, and its parseAttachments helper returns the supplied value as a filesystem path whenever it does not start with the application's own base URL, instead of requiring an http or https URL. The Nodemailer transport is created without disableFileAccess or disableUrlAccess, both of which default to false, so an attachment specified as an absolute server path is read from the local filesystem and delivered. Because both the attachment value and the recipient list are attacker-controllable typebot variables, any registered user can publish a bot whose Send Email block attaches an absolute path such as /etc/passwd or /proc/self/environ and mails it to an address they control. This enables reading any file the server process can access, including process environment secrets such as the credential encryption key and database connection string, without administrative privileges or victim interaction. Open signup is enabled by default and the system

  • Aug 25, 2026Typebot is an open-source chatbot builder.CVE-2026-62862 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Typebot is an open-source chatbot builder. In self-hosted versions up to and including 3.17.1, the default passwordless email magic-link authentication is vulnerable to login-code brute forcing that leads to account takeover. The email provider overrides NextAuth's default cryptographically secure token with a 6-digit code generated using Math.random(), reducing the keyspace to 900,000 with a 10-minute expiry, and the code itself is the raw value placed in the magic link. The verification callback enforces no attempt limit, lockout, or CSRF protection, and an incorrect guess does not consume the real code because the adapter returns null on a not-found token, so a valid code survives unlimited guessing within its lifetime. The only rate limiter applies to the code-sending path and is keyed on the client-controlled X-Forwarded-For header, allowing an attacker to request many concurrent live codes for one victim and further raise the odds of a matching guess. As a result, an anonymous attacker who knows a victim's email address can brute-force the callback and obtain an authenticated session as that user with no victim interaction, gaining full access to the victim's bots, results, a

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Versions prior to 3.17.0 allow a low-privilege read collaborator to extract a workspace OAuth `credentialsId` from a readable bot configuration and then overwrite that credential through `handleUpdateOAuthCredentials()` by supplying an attacker-controlled writable `workspaceId`. The update path validates only the attacker-supplied workspace and then updates the credential record by global `id` alone, while also rewriting the credential's `workspaceId`. This allows cross-workspace OAuth credential takeover and reassignment. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

  • Aug 11, 2026TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool.CVE-2026-48763 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Versions prior to 3.17.0 expose a deprecated public upload endpoint at `GET /api/v1/typebots/{typebotId}/blocks/{blockId}/storage/upload-url` that accepts an attacker-controlled `filePath` and returns a presigned S3 `PUT` URL for that exact key. Because the endpoint only checks that the referenced typebot is public and that the referenced block is a file input block, an unauthenticated attacker who knows a valid public `typebotId` and `blockId` can request presigned upload URLs for arbitrary objects in the shared bucket, including `private/...` and other tenants' `public/...` paths. TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Versions prior to 3.17.0 allow a low-privilege guest member of a workspace to obtain a live Google Sheets OAuth access token for that workspace by calling the Google Sheets helper `getAccessToken`. The vulnerable path checks only whether the caller has read access to the workspace, decrypts the stored Google OAuth credential, refreshes or retrieves the access token through the Google client, and returns the raw bearer token directly to the caller. Because guest members can also enumerate credential identifiers, a guest can mint and reuse the workspace's Google access token outside Typebot. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

  • Aug 11, 2026TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool.CVE-2026-48494 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In version 3.16.1, an authenticated user who has read access to any typebot can resume a WhatsApp preview webhook session that belongs to a different typebot by mixing an authorized `typebotId` and `blockId` and a foreign preview phone number tied to another preview session. The WhatsApp test-webhook handler authorizes the parent typebot first, but then resolves the preview chat session only by `wa-preview-{phone}`. As a result, an attacker can inject arbitrary webhook JSON into another workspace's WhatsApp preview session and advance its draft/unpublished flow without any access to the victim typebot. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Version 3.16.1 has a CSV injection vulnerability in the result export functionality. The application does not sanitize or escape user-supplied input when generating CSV files. An attacker can inject spreadsheet formulas into input fields, which are later executed when an administrator opens the exported CSV in spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

  • Aug 11, 2026TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool.CVE-2026-48483 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Prior to version 3.17.0, Typebot's WhatsApp status forwarding feature stores a workspace-configured webhook forwarding URL and later POSTs WhatsApp marketing/error status events to it from the server. The stored URL is only validated as a generic URL in settings, but the forwarding code uses the raw `ky` instance instead of the repository's SSRF-protected `safeKy` client. A workspace user who can configure WhatsApp settings can therefore make the Typebot server issue HTTP requests to internal services, private-network hosts, localhost, or metadata-style endpoints whenever the public WhatsApp production webhook receives a status payload that should be forwarded. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Prior to version 3.17.0, an authenticated user who has read access to any typebot can resume a waiting webhook session that belongs to a different typebot by mixing an authorized `typebotId` and `blockId` and a foreign live `resultId`. The webhook resume handler authorizes the parent typebot first, but then resolves the descendant `result` only by `resultId`. As a result, an attacker can inject arbitrary webhook JSON into another typebot's suspended session and advance its execution without any access to the victim typebot. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Versions prior to 3.17.0 allow a low-privilege guest member of a workspace to exfiltrate stored OpenAI-compatible API keys by invoking the OpenAI model-listing helper with an attacker-controlled `baseUrl`. The vulnerable path decrypts the selected workspace credential, creates an OpenAI client with the secret in both `apiKey` and the explicit `api-key` header, and then sends the outbound request to the caller-supplied URL. Because the permission check accepts any readable workspace member and `listCredentials` reveals credential identifiers to guests, a guest can force the server to deliver the workspace secret to attacker infrastructure. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

  • Aug 11, 2026TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool.CVE-2026-48495 · Other software · baptisteArno · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Prior to version 3.17.0, the Google Sheets OAuth callback decodes a base64-encoded JSON `state` parameter and trusts the embedded `workspaceId`, `typebotId`, `blockId`, and `redirectUrl` without cryptographic integrity protection or authorization checks. The callback route is authenticated, but it does not verify that the authenticated user has write access to the target workspace or Typebot before creating credentials in the workspace or updating Typebot groups. An authenticated user who can obtain a valid Google OAuth `code` can alter the `state` value to create Google Sheets credentials in another workspace and, if target IDs are known, attach those credentials to a block in another Typebot. Version 3.17.0 patches the issue.

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In version 3.16.1, API tokens (bearer credentials used to authenticate against the builder API) are stored in the database as cleartext strings. An attacker who gains read access to the database (e.g., via SQL injection, backup exposure, or insider access) can extract all API tokens and impersonate any user without requiring a password or multi-factor authentication. • Aug 5, 2026AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-6639 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.6. This is due to the `getCurrentTaskResults()` method in `modules/workspace/controller.php` being accessible without authentication or authorization checks. The method is not included in the workspace controller's `getNoncedMethods()` array, the base `getPermissions()` returns an empty array, and all AJAX actions are registered with `wp_ajax_nopriv_` hooks (`classes/frame.php:282`). When tasks are created via features like the Bulk Post Generator, the task parameters — including the OpenAI API key in plaintext, AI prompts, keywords, and full AI model configuration — are stored in the database and returned in the JSON response. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate sequential task IDs and retrieve sensitive configuration data including API keys.

The AI Engine – The Chatbot, AI Framework & MCP for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.5 This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the reauth_for_authorize function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create new administrator accounts with attacker-supplied credentials via a CSRF-based REST authentication bypass, granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This bypass can be combined with WordPress's ?_method=POST method-override support to convert a top-navigation GET request into an authenticated POST to the REST users endpoint, requiring no existing account on the attacker's part.

The Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 8.5.9 via the wpcs_send_email() AJAX handler. This is due to the wpcs_send_email() function being registered on both wp_ajax_wpcs_send_email and wp_ajax_nopriv_wpcs_send_email with no nonce verification, capability check, or rate limiting, while forwarding attacker-controlled recipient, subject, and body directly to wp_mail().
