The Pulsar Functions worker REST API provides two endpoints that return the catalog of Pulsar IO connectors installed on the functions worker: the worker connectors endpoint (/admin/v2/worker/connectors) and the deprecated functions connectors endpoint (/admin/v2/functions/connectors and /admin/v3/functions/connectors). When authorization is enabled, the worker connectors endpoint requires super-user access. The functions connectors endpoint, served both by the functions worker and by a broker running the functions worker, returns the same catalog without this check. As a result, when authentication and authorization are enabled, any authenticated client can read the connector catalog through the functions connectors endpoint, regardless of the permissions granted to its role and without super-user access. Unauthenticated requests are rejected unless anonymous access is configured with an anonymous user role. The catalog contains the connector type definitions installed in the functions worker's connectors directory: the connector name, its description, and the source, sink and configuration class names. It does not contain configured source or sink instances, their configuration

  • Sep 29, 2026Unverified ownership in Barman snapshot backup deletion allows a principal who can write the backup catalog to cause Barman to delete unrelated cloud snapshots.CVE-2026-93853 · Other software · EnterpriseDB · reported by 20be33e2-bf35-4d13-8fad-18bd2f3e3659High 7.2

Unverified ownership in Barman snapshot backup deletion allows a principal who can write the backup catalog to cause Barman to delete unrelated cloud snapshots. When a snapshot backup is deleted, either explicitly or by retention policy enforcement, Barman reads the snapshot identifiers from the backup.info file and passes them to the cloud provider's delete API using Barman's own credentials, without verifying that the snapshots belong to that backup. An attacker who can overwrite backup.info but lacks snapshot delete permissions can substitute the identifiers of other snapshots, causing Barman to delete any snapshot its cloud identity can reach on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Exploitation requires a deployment where the principal that writes the backup catalog is separate from the identity Barman uses to delete snapshots. Barman versions from 3.4.0 (Google Cloud), 3.6.0 (Azure), and 3.7.0 (AWS) up to and including 3.20.0 are affected. The issue is fixed in Barman 3.20.1.

  • Sep 15, 2026GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources.CVE-2026-55864 · Other software · geonetwork · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources. Prior to 4.2.17 and 4.4.12, POST /api/tools/ogc/sld accepted a caller-supplied WMS server URL and performed a server-side HTTP GET without destination validation. An anonymous attacker could make the GeoNetwork server send requests to internal hosts that are not publicly reachable. When the outbound response was XML, the endpoint could store and return the fetched body, making the request forgery non-blind and enabling internal data disclosure, authorization bypass, and network reconnaissance. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.17 and 4.4.12.

GeoLens is a self-hosted geospatial data catalog with semantic search, OGC and STAC APIs, and a map builder. Prior to 1.2.3, multiple read and link endpoints authorize only the resource named in the request URL and fail to re-authorize a second caller-influenced dataset reached through a relationship, map layer, VRT source, externalId lookup, or request body. When a public map references a private dataset, anonymous callers can use GET /maps/{id} and GET /maps/{id}/style.json to obtain the private layer's metadata, sampled values, or vector tiles. The style response can expose a replayable HMAC tile URL that is bound to neither a user nor a map. When a public source dataset has a relationship to a private target dataset, anonymous callers can use the dataset relationship APIs to enumerate the relationship and read rows from the private target's backing table. Anonymous callers can also use GET /collections/datasets/items with an externalId dataset UUID to obtain metadata for any private, restricted, or unpublished dataset because that lookup performs no visibility check. Authenticated users with the default editor role can mosaic another user's private raster into an owned VRT and

  • Sep 3, 2026GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources.CVE-2026-58400 · Other software · geonetwork · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources. Prior to versions 4.4.12 and 4.2.17, the Saxon XSLT processor used to render formatters is configured without secure processing (`FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING`) and without disabling Java extension functions (`ALLOW_EXTERNAL_FUNCTIONS`). Any stylesheet loaded by GeoNetwork can therefore invoke `java.lang.Runtime.exec()` or `java.lang.ProcessBuilder` directly, achieving arbitrary command execution as the GeoNetwork process user. A user with sufficient privileges to upload a formatter can deliver a `.xsl` file containing Java extension call that execute arbitrary OS commands with the privileges of the GeoNetwork process. The eCommerce Product Catalog plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'style' Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Data::MuForm::Localizer versions through 0.05 for Perl execute Perl from a message catalog header, reached at an arbitrary path because load_lexicon interpolates the language attribute into the catalog filename. load_lexicon builds the catalog path by appending `Messages/$lang.po` to the directory holding Localizer.pm, where $lang is the language attribute, with no check that it names a bare locale tag. A value holding `../` segments walks out of the message directory, so any readable path with a `.po` suffix is loaded. While parsing the catalog, extract_header_msgstr takes the `Plural-Forms:` header, prefixes `$` to the bare words nplurals, plural and n, and passes the rest verbatim into a string that is evaluated: the nplurals form evaluates the header expression immediately, and the plural_code form compiles it into a subroutine whose body runs when a plural message is localized. A header of `nplurals=2; plural=(system('...'),0);` therefore runs that command as the catalog loads. The evaluation inherits strict, so an expression that assigns to an undeclared variable fails to compile, while one built from calls alone does not. An application that sets the language attribute fro

libxml2 is vulnerable to multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the xmlcatalog utility when running in --shell mode. The usershell() function processes user input using fixed-size stack buffers without proper bounds checking. By supplying an overly long input line, an attacker can overflow internal buffers (command, arg, and argv) during input parsing. This results in memory corruption within the stack frame. Successful exploitation may cause a crash or potentially allow arbitrary code execution in the context of the xmlcatalog process. This issue has been fixed in the commit c2e233fc. NOTE: The maintainers of this project did not agree that this issue is a vulnerability and considered it a bug.
