  • Oct 16, 2026Sunshine Photo Cart – Client Photo Gallery & Photo Proofing for Photographers: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-104730 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Sunshine Photo Cart – Client Photo Gallery & Photo Proofing for Photographers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.4 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, the attacker can store the malicious payload unauthenticated via the public favorites page and trigger deserialization by viewing any image in a non-viewable or private gallery.

  • Oct 16, 2026InstaWP Connect – 1-click WP Staging & Migration: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-109400 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The InstaWP Connect – 1-click WP Staging & Migration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 0.1.4.1 This is due to the plugin registering its admin page via `add_management_page()` using a role name returned by `InstaWP_Setting::get_allowed_role()` as the required capability — which WordPress resolves as a real capability match for any user holding that role — combined with `generate_section_field()` rendering the master API key from the `instawp_api_options` option directly as the `value` attribute of a plain-text HTML input with no additional `manage_options` or equivalent capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to read the plaintext master API key, use its SHA-256-derived secret as a bearer token accepted by the plugin's REST API `validate_api_request()`, and call `POST /wp-json/instawp-connect/v2/auto-login` to mint a 30-second single-use login URL that sets an administrator authentication cookie — fully escalating their privileges. Exploitation requires the site to be actively connected to InstaWP and an administrator to have added the attacker's role t

  • Oct 13, 2026Click to Chat for WhatsApp: Arbitrary Shortcode ExecutionCVE-2026-92097 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Click to Chat for WhatsApp plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution in versions up to, and including, 4.44 This is due to the greetings_dialog() function building the {url} template placeholder from a sanitize_text_field()-filtered $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] on archive pages and then passing the substituted greeting content to do_shortcode() in the greetings-1 and greetings-2 templates, without stripping shortcode delimiters. Because wp_kses() runs against main_content BEFORE the {url} substitution, the attacker-controlled URL bytes reach do_shortcode() unfiltered. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes registered by WordPress core, the active theme, or any other plugin (e.

  • Oct 3, 2026WPZOOM Connect: AI Chat, Click to Chat, Social Icons & Share Buttons: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-100149 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The WPZOOM Connect: AI Chat, Click to Chat, Social Icons & Share Buttons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.3 via the 'x-yamidoo-signature (attacker-obtained via inline_js identify payload)' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the full customer card — including name, WordPress user ID, order history, order totals, purchased products, payment method labels, and EDD Software Licensing license keys with status and activation counts — for any arbitrary victim email address on the site. Exploitation requires the attacker to register a WooCommerce customer or subscriber-level account with a crafted email address whose local part encodes the target timestamp and victim email, allowing the signature printed into the page HTML by inline_js() to pass verify_request() for an arbitrary victim; both the share_customer_data and identify_logged_in settings are enabled by default, so no non-default configuration is required.

This is due to insufficient escaping on the array-key names supplied in the JSON request body before use in a SQL statement: IWP_MMB_Comment::get_comments() calls extract() on $args (which silently skips keys that are not valid PHP variable names) but a second foreach($args as $checkbox => $checkbox_val) processes every key, strips the 'iwp_get_comments_' prefix with str_replace(), wraps the remainder in single quotes, and imploded it into an IN(...) clause that is executed via $wpdb->get_results() with no prepare(). Because the request body is read from php://input and JSON-decoded, wp_magic_quotes() never touches the data, so quote characters in keys pass through unaltered. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above (an administrator can register their own public key via add_site using the plugin's WP-admin-generated activation_key and then issue signed get_comments requests), to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information

  • Sep 9, 2026Rara One Click Demo Import: Arbitrary file uploadCVE-2026-26212 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

Rara One Click Demo Import plugin for WordPress before 1.3.5 contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with Administrator privileges to upload arbitrary PHP files by passing a false value to wp_handle_upload() that disables WordPress core's file type validation checks across all three file parameters in the process_uploaded_files() function. Attackers can upload a malicious PHP file to the uploads directory and execute it over HTTP to achieve remote code execution in the web server process, with the uploaded file persisting on disk even after plugin deactivation and leaving no media library record to evade standard integrity checks.

  • Sep 5, 2026Social Chat – Click To Chat App Button: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18404 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Social Chat – Click To Chat App Button plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'consent_message' JSON Attribute in .qlwapp data-box in all versions up to, and including, 8.6.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit requires no user interaction beyond page load, as setting auto_open and consent_enabled to 'yes' in the injected data-box JSON causes the consent box — and the embedded script — to execute immediately on page load.

The CM Map Locations – Visualize and share your locations in a few clicks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Limited Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.8 via the uploadMedia function. This is due to insufficient file type validation in the upload handler, which performs incomplete extension filtering without MIME-type checks or upload capability verification before passing attacker-supplied files to move_uploaded_file(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. • Aug 19, 2026Atarim – AI Agency for WordPress: Edit Pages, Fix Code, Update Plugins, SEO & Client Feedback: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-19942 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Atarim – AI Agency for WordPress: Edit Pages, Fix Code, Update Plugins, SEO & Client Feedback plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the AVCF_Abilities_Media::register (replace-media-file execute_callback) function in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This is exploitable by first using the atarim/update-post-field ability to overwrite the _wp_attached_file meta of an attacker-owned attachment with a directory-traversal path, then invoking atarim/replace-media-file to cause get_attached_file() to resolve and unlink the targeted file.
