  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: fix use-after-free in cdns3_gadget_exit() cdns3_gadget_start() arms two works CVE-2026-98757 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: fix use-after-free in cdns3_gadget_exit() cdns3_gadget_start() arms two works on system_freezable_wq: pending_status_wq for the deferred ep0 status stage and aligned_buf_wq for realigned request buffers. Both handlers use the cdns3_device the works are embedded in, and cdns3_pending_setup_status_handler() also calls the ep0 request completion. cdns3_gadget_exit() does not wait for these works. It frees all endpoints and aligned buffers and drops the last reference to the gadget device, which frees priv_dev, so a work queued before the exit can run after the free. Fix this by waiting for both works after the gadget driver is unbound and the IRQ is freed, when no new work can be queued, and before the endpoints and buffers are released. This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: Fix NULL pointer dereference in cdns3_pci_probe The Cadence USBSS controller iCVE-2026-98756 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: Fix NULL pointer dereference in cdns3_pci_probe The Cadence USBSS controller is a two-function PCI device. The first probed function allocates the driver data and stores it with pci_set_drvdata(), while the second function reuses it via pci_get_drvdata() when pci_is_enabled() reports that the first function has already been probed. When the second function is probed while the first one has been enabled but has not yet set its driver data, pci_get_drvdata() returns NULL, and the subsequent wrap->devfn assignment dereferences a NULL pointer and crashes the kernel. logs: Call trace: cdns3_pci_probe+0xa4/0x300 local_pci_probe+0x44/0xa8 pci_call_probe+0x54/0x158 pci_device_probe+0x84/0x100 really_probe+0x184/0x3d0 __driver_probe_device+0x80/0x178 driver_probe_device+0x44/0xe8 __driver_attach+0xec/0x1f8 bus_for_each_dev+0x7c/0xe0 driver_attach+0x28/0x38 bus_add_driver+0x110/0x238 driver_register+0x64/0x128 __pci_register_driver+0x50/0x60 cdns3_pci_driver_init+0x28/0x38 do_one_initcall+0x5c/0x280 do_initcalls+0x104/0x1d8 kernel_init_freeable+0x140/0x218 kernel_init+0x28/0

  • Sep 5, 2026Hummingbird – Speed Optimization, Caching, Minify, Compress & CDN: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-83627 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Hummingbird – Speed Optimization, Caching, Minify, Compress & CDN plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 3.21.0 via the log_msg() function in core/modules/class-page-cache.php. The page-cache debug log is written to wp-content/wphb-logs/page-caching-log.php, a directly web-accessible PHP file that is supposed to be protected by a leading '<?php die(); ?>' header. That header is guarded by class_exists( 'Filesystem' ), which can never match because class_exists() resolves string arguments in the global namespace while the class is Hummingbird\Core\Filesystem; when the log is created during a front-end request the header is therefore omitted entirely. get_cookies() then writes the raw name of any cookie matching the wphb_cache_ prefix into that file without sanitization. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary PHP into the log file with a single anonymous request and execute it by requesting the file directly, resulting in full remote code execution. Exploitation requires the site administrator to have enabled Page Caching with the Debug Log option (non-default), and the log file to be crea

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: cadence: cdns-mhdp8546-core: Set the mhdp connector earlier in atomic_enable() In case if we get errors in cdns_mhdp_link_up() or cdns_mhdp_reg_read() in atomic_enable, we will go to cdns_mhdp_modeset_retry_fn() and will hit NULL pointer while trying to access the mutex. We need the connector to be set before that. Unlike in legacy cases with flag !DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR, we do not have connector initialised in bridge_attach(), so add the mhdp->connector_ptr in device structure to handle both cases with DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR and !DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR, set it in atomic_enable() earlier to avoid possible NULL pointer dereference in recovery paths like modeset_retry_fn() with the DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR flag set.

The Optimole – Optimize Images | Convert WebP & AVIF | CDN & Lazy Load | Image Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.6. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the replace_file function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite existing media attachments with attacker-supplied file content by supplying a forged multipart POST request targeting any attachment the victim has edit_post capability over via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The forged request requires a victim with at least Author-level privileges, as the handler enforces a current_user_can('edit_post', $id) check; tricking an Author-level or higher user into clicking a crafted link is sufficient to trigger the overwrite against attachments that user can edit.

An Improper Authentication vulnerability in the /api/Cdn/GetFile endpoint of linqi allows unauthenticated, remote attackers to bypass file access controls. The ValidateAnonFileAccess function incorrectly grants access if an 'AnonFile' query parameter containing exactly 256 characters is provided. While this flaw allows bypassing the intended authorization check, the actual security impact is negligible; the exposed resources are strictly limited to minified JavaScript and CSS files that contain no sensitive data and are already publicly accessible via a standard CDN.

esm.sh is a no-build content delivery network (CDN) for web development. In 137 and earlier, the legacy router first retrieves a response from legacyServer, parses the incoming request path, and ultimately writes the data to storage via buildStorage.Put. The router concatenates the path components without sanitizing them, producing a storage key. When this key is used, the underlying file system resolves the relative segments and writes the file to the specified path. Thus an attacker can craft a request that writes data to arbitrary locations on the server.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: fix role switching during resume If the role change while we are suspended, the cdns3 driver switches to the new mode during resume. However, switching to host mode in this context causes a NULL pointer dereference. The host role's start() operation registers a xhci-hcd device, but its probe is deferred while we are in the resume path. The host role's resume() operation assumes the xhci-hcd device is already probed, which is not the case, leading to the dereference. Since the start() operation of the new role is already called, the resume operation can be skipped. So skip the resume operation for the new role if a role switch occurs during resume. Once the resume sequence is complete, the xhci-hcd device can be probed in case of host mode. Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000208 Mem abort info: ... The Optimole – Optimize Images | Convert WebP & AVIF | CDN & Lazy Load | Image Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the user-supplied 's' parameter (srcset descriptor) in the unauthenticated /wp-json/optimole/v1/optimizations REST endpoint. The endpoint validates requests using an HMAC signature and timestamp, but these values are exposed directly in the frontend HTML making them accessible to any visitor. The plugin uses sanitize_text_field() on the descriptor value of rest.php, which strips HTML tags but does not escape double quotes. The poisoned descriptor is then stored via transients (backed by the WordPress options table) and later retrieved and injected verbatim into the srcset attribute of tag_replacer.php without proper escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the injected page.

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in the @opennextjs/cloudflare package, resulting from a path normalization bypass in the /cdn-cgi/image/ handler. The @opennextjs/cloudflare worker template includes a /cdn-cgi/image/ handler intended for development use only. In production, Cloudflare's edge intercepts /cdn-cgi/image/ requests before they reach the Worker. However, by substituting a backslash for a forward slash (/cdn-cgi\image/ instead of /cdn-cgi/image/), an attacker can bypass edge interception and have the request reach the Worker directly. The JavaScript URL class then normalizes the backslash to a forward slash, causing the request to match the handler and trigger an unvalidated fetch of arbitrary remote URLs. For example: https://victim-site.com/cdn-cgi\image/aaaa/https://attacker.com In this example, attacker-controlled content from attacker.com is served through the victim site's domain (victim-site.com), violating the same-origin policy and potentially misleading users or other services. Note: This bypass only works via HTTP clients that preserve backslashes in paths (e.g., curl --path-as-is). Browsers normalize backslashes to forwar

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: gadget: Use-after-free during failed initialization and exit of cdnsp gadget In the __cdnsp_gadget_init() and cdnsp_gadget_exit() functions, the gadget structure (pdev->gadget) was freed before its endpoints. The endpoints are linked via the ep_list in the gadget structure. Freeing the gadget first leaves dangling pointers in the endpoint list. When the endpoints are subsequently freed, this results in a use-after-free. Fix: By separating the usb_del_gadget_udc() operation into distinct "del" and "put" steps, cdnsp_gadget_free_endpoints() can be executed prior to the final release of the gadget structure with usb_put_gadget().
