  • Oct 16, 202610Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer: A limited file writeCVE-2026-103896 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a limited file write via path traversal in versions up to, and including, 2.34.5 This is due to the OptimizerWebPageCache::get_cache_file_dir() function concatenating raw, unsanitized $_GET parameter names and values into the on-disk cache path, and the cache_content() sink calling mkdir() and file_put_contents() on the result with no realpath containment check — unlike the sibling delete_page_cache(), which does perform one. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary directories (mode 0777, recursively) outside the cache root and write a cached page into them. The write is LIMITED: the filename is always 'source.html', so the extension is fixed, and the content is the rendered page buffer rather than attacker-supplied data. PHP files cannot be written and code execution is not possible; the demonstrated impact is cache poisoning and arbitrary directory creation.

  • Oct 15, 202610Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-108587 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.10 via the compressCustom function. This is due to missing file type validation and extension filtering on the page_id parameter, combined with a world-readable leaked nonce that bypasses authentication checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This exploit chain requires obtaining the plugin's REST nonce (tenwebio_rest), which is automatically serialized to a world-readable file under wp-content/uploads/ whenever a bulk optimisation batch pauses; because the nonce is generated in a cron/loopback context with a user ID of 0, it is valid for unauthenticated visitors.

  • Oct 10, 202610Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-107742 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'author' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable because a comment author Name value containing ' src=' and an event-handler payload contains no HTML tags or quote characters, allowing it to survive WordPress core's sanitize_text_field and land verbatim inside the alt attribute, where the plugin's own str_replace subsequently injects the single quote that breaks out of the attribute context.

  • Sep 18, 2026SEO Booster: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-15660 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The SEO Booster plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 7.4.7. This is due to a missing capability check on the handle_oauth_callback() function which is hooked to admin_init and processes $_GET['access_token'] and $_GET['google_email'] without verifying the caller's role. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the seobooster_access_token, seobooster_google_email, and seobooster_gsc_sites options and delete the seobooster_needs_reauth flag by visiting a crafted /wp-admin/ URL, disrupting the Google Search Console integration and injecting attacker-chosen data into site options via the attacker-supplied token that drives an outbound Google API request whose response is stored.

  • Sep 18, 2026Popup Maker – Boost Sales, Conversions, Optins, Subscribers with the Ultimate WP Popup Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-87915 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Popup Maker – Boost Sales, Conversions, Optins, Subscribers with the Ultimate WP Popup Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via values[Name] Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.24.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wp_kses sanitization applied on output is insufficient in this context because HTML entities within allowed attribute values survive normalization intact and are later evaluated by the jQuery(link.attr('href')) sink in wp-admin/js/common.js when a contextual help tab anchor is clicked.

The Popup Maker – Boost Sales, Conversions, Optins, Subscribers with the Ultimate WP Popup Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via post_title in all versions up to, and including, 1.24.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The StoreGrowth: Smart Sales Booster for WooCommerce | BOGO, Upsells, Direct Checkout, Quick View, Side Cart plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the spsg_popup_products option with arbitrary attacker-controlled data. The 'ajd_protected' nonce used as the sole gate is exposed to unauthenticated visitors on every frontend page through the BoGo module's wp_localize_script call, rendering it ineffective as an authorization barrier.

The StoreGrowth: Smart Sales Booster for WooCommerce | BOGO, Upsells, Direct Checkout, Quick View, Side Cart plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'message_popup' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit is possible because the 'ajd_protected' nonce required by the create_popup handler is exposed to all unauthenticated frontend visitors via wp_localize_script under bogo_save_url.ajd_nonce, effectively bypassing the nonce-only access control.

  • Jul 28, 2026Storegrowth Sales Booster: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-13110 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Storegrowth Sales Booster plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to and including 2.1.0. This is due to a missing capability check on the bogo_category_msg_create() AJAX handler, which is registered for both authenticated (wp_ajax_) and unauthenticated (wp_ajax_nopriv_) users and only validates a nonce ('ajd_protected') that is emitted publicly via wp_localize_script() on every frontend page through front_scripts() . This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's BOGO category-message configuration stored in the spsg_bogo_general_settings option by reading the nonce from any public page and POSTing attacker-controlled data to admin-ajax.

  • Jul 9, 2026Popup Maker – Boost Sales, Conversions, Optins, Subscribers with the Ultimate WP Popup Builder: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-8848 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Popup Maker – Boost Sales, Conversions, Optins, Subscribers with the Ultimate WP Popup Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.22.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with editor-level access and above, to install and activate an arbitrary plugin from an attacker-controlled URL, leading to remote code execution. Exploitation requires that a valid Popup Maker Pro license is active on the target site and that Popup Maker Pro is not yet installed, as these conditions are necessary for the legacy v1/connect/info endpoint to issue the bearer token used to satisfy the install endpoint's only non-spoofable validation check.

  • Jun 12, 2026LWS Optimize – All-in-One Speed Booster & Cache Tools: Arbitrary File ReadCVE-2026-12089 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

The LWS Optimize – All-in-One Speed Booster & Cache Tools plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in versions up to, and including, 3.3.19. This is due to the combine_current_css() function trusting <link rel="stylesheet" href="..."> values harvested from page HTML and converting same-site URLs to absolute filesystem paths before reading them with file_get_contents()/Minify\CSS::add(), without enforcing that the resolved path stay within ABSPATH or have a .css extension. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above, to read arbitrary files.

  • May 7, 2026WP-Optimize – Cache, Compress images, Minify & Clean database to boost page speed & performance: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-7252 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The WP-Optimize – Cache, Compress images, Minify & Clean database to boost page speed & performance plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the unscheduled_original_file_deletion function in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.2 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This is possible because 'original-file' is a public (non-protected) meta key — it does not begin with an underscore — allowing Authors to freely create or modify it on their own attachment posts via the standard Edit Media form or the REST API.
