  • Oct 28, 2026Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG.CVE-2026-118255 · Other software · highcharts · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 2.0.0 until 3.2.0, Highcharts Grid applies credits.href to the credits link without validating the URL scheme. An attacker who controls Grid configuration can provide a javascript URL, and activating the credits link runs script in the origin of the hosting page with access to that application's data and session state. This issue is fixed in Grid Pro 3.2.0.

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 1.0.0 until 4.2.3, Highcharts Dashboards edit mode parses fullscreen language labels as HTML rather than inserting them as text. An attacker who controls Dashboards language options can supply markup with event handlers, which execute in the hosting page origin when the fullscreen control is rendered. The label is reachable only when edit mode is enabled and viewFullscreen is present in the context-menu items. This issue is fixed in 4.2.3.

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. Prior to 11.4.9, 12.6.1, and 13.1.0, Highcharts assigns credits.href to the window location when the credits label is clicked without checking the URL against the allowed-scheme list. An attacker who controls chart configuration can provide a javascript URL and run script in the origin of the hosting page when a user clicks the credits label. Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 6.1.0 until 11.4.9, 12.6.1, and 3.1.0, Highcharts follows dot-separated series.keys paths without filtering each segment. An attacker who controls series.keys and matching point data can use a path through __proto__ to assign arbitrary named properties to Object.prototype. Those properties are visible to all JavaScript in the page, and no user interaction is required beyond rendering the chart. This issue is fixed in 11.4.9, 12.6.1, and 3.1.0.

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 13.0.0 until 13.1.0, Highcharts builds series data columns by using point option keys directly as column IDs. Own enumerable __proto__ and constructor keys from parsed point objects can therefore direct integer-indexed writes to Object.prototype or the Object constructor. The inherited values affect reads and for-in enumeration across the page and can disrupt rendering or alter consuming application behavior without user interaction beyond rendering the chart. This issue is fixed in 13.1.0.

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 1.0.0 until 4.2.2, Highcharts Dashboards edit mode walks editableOptions propertyPath segments without rejecting prototype-related keys. An attacker who controls editableOptions can provide a path through __proto__ or constructor, and a user's edit writes the configured value onto Object.prototype. The property then becomes visible to JavaScript throughout the page, with consequences determined by the consuming application. This issue is fixed in 4.2.2.

  • Oct 28, 2026Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG.CVE-2026-118247 · Other software · highcharts · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 1.0.0 until Dashboards 4.2.2, and from 2.0.0 until Grid Pro 3.2.0, Highcharts DataTable single-cell writers use an untrusted column ID as a key without rejecting __proto__ or constructor. DataTable.setCell, including Dashboards connector write-back and Grid Pro editing paths, can therefore write integer-indexed values onto Object.prototype or the Object constructor. In Dashboards releases with column aliases, a literal __proto__ ID is redirected by the alias map, while an alias targeting __proto__ reaches the unsafe write; later releases without aliases accept the unsafe ID directly. Those inherited values affect array and object reads and for-in enumeration throughout the page, which can alter application control flow or disrupt rendering. Exploitation requires control of the table or component column ID and a cell, point, or API write. This issue is fixed in Dashboards 4.2.2 and Grid Pro 3.2.0.

  • Oct 28, 2026Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG.CVE-2026-118246 · Other software · highcharts · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 10.0.0 until 11.4.9, 12.6.1, and 13.1.0, Highcharts applies breadcrumbs.style as SVG attributes rather than CSS and does not filter the attribute names. An attacker who controls chart configuration can provide event-handler keys through drilldown.breadcrumbs, navigation.breadcrumbs, or hierarchical series breadcrumb options. The keys become active handlers on the breadcrumb button and execute in the hosting page origin after the user navigates to a level and hovers over or activates the button. Styled-mode charts do not apply this option and are not affected. This issue is fixed in 11.4.9, 12.6.1 and 13.1.0.

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 1.0.0 until 4.2.2, Highcharts Dashboards uses chartConstructor as an unchecked property lookup in the Highcharts namespace and invokes the selected member with the component container and chartOptions. An attacker who controls dashboard configuration can select a public utility function instead of a supported chart constructor, causing attacker-controlled options to be copied to the container as properties or attributes. Markup and event handlers can then execute in the hosting page origin when the board renders. No user interaction beyond rendering the board is required. This issue is fixed in 4.2.2.

  • Oct 28, 2026Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG.CVE-2026-118244 · Other software · highcharts · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 12.0.0 until 12.6.1 and 13.1.0, Highcharts falls back to assigning raw markup to innerHTML when DOMParser cannot return a document, before its allow-list is applied. In Chromium, the Trusted Types callback can throw while a beforeprint handler runs, so a page that redraws a chart during beforeprint can insert untrusted HTML text options into the hosting document. Event handlers in that markup then run in the page origin when printing begins. The issue affects HTML-rendered titles, labels, data labels, responsive text, and the Stock, Maps, and Gantt products shipped in the same package. This issue is fixed in 12.6.1 and 13.1.0.

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 1.0.0 until 4.2.2, Highcharts Dashboards stores DataCursor listener and state maps in plain objects keyed by DataTable ID. A __proto__ table ID supplied through dataPool connector configuration resolves to Object.prototype, and sync registration creates an enumerable property there whose suffix can be influenced through the sync group option. The property is visible on every object, and lasting sync states can throw and stop features such as extremes synchronization. Exploitation requires untrusted dashboard configuration and an enabled component sync, but no user interaction beyond loading the board. This issue is fixed in 4.2.2.

Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 2.3.0 until 3.2.0, Highcharts Grid creates SVG path elements from rendering.icons object definitions and previously copied every child key with setAttribute. An attacker who controls Grid configuration can supply event-handler attribute names in an icon definition. Because custom icons override built-ins, the attacker can replace default sort or pagination icons, and script runs in the hosting page origin when a user hovers over or activates the affected icon. MIME::Parser versions before 5.521 for Perl set no limit on the number of message parts by default, allowing memory exhaustion. The max_parts option defaulted to -1, which disables the limit, so a parser created with default settings builds an entity for every part however many a message has. Version 5.521 sets max_parts to 1000 and max_depth to 64 by default. Setting either to -1 still removes the limit.

HTTP::Body versions before 1.23_01 for Perl allow memory and temporary file exhaustion via an unlimited number of form fields and multipart parts. The urlencoded parser splits the whole body on its separators at once, creating one scalar per separator before any field is stored. This costs about 90 bytes of memory per separator byte. The multipart parser creates a temporary file for every part that carries a filename. Neither parser limits how many fields or parts a body may hold. A remote attacker can exhaust worker memory with a body made of separators, or create thousands of temporary files with one request of small file parts.

In the Bluetooth Classic Hands-Free Profile Audio Gateway role, hfp_ag_create() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/hfp_ag.c starts an SDP discovery toward the peer, which links the embedded ag->sdp_param._node into the SDP client's pending request list in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/sdp.c. If the subsequent bt_rfcomm_dlc_connect() call fails, bt_hfp_ag_connect() cleaned up by memset()-ing the entire AG object while that node was still linked, and while ag->slc_work could still be queued on the system work queue. An in-flight SDP discovery cannot be cancelled — bt_sdp_discover_cancel() is declared in the public header but has no implementation — so the request stays in the list with its func, pool and uuid pointers zeroed. The RFCOMM channel passed to bt_hfp_ag_connect() is taken from the peer's own SDP Hands-Free service record in the normal AG flow (bt_sdp_get_proto_param() performs no range validation, and samples/bluetooth/classic/handsfree_ag feeds the value straight through), so a remote BR/EDR device in radio range that advertises an RFCOMM channel outside the valid range 0x01..0x1e deterministically forces bt_rfcomm_dlc_connect() to fail and reach the wipe. • Oct 26, 2026bt_hfp_hf_connect() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/hfp_hf.c allocates the per-connection HFP Hands-Free object with hfp_hf_create(), which starts an SDP discoCVE-2026-82388 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.3

bt_hfp_hf_connect() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/hfp_hf.c allocates the per-connection HFP Hands-Free object with hfp_hf_create(), which starts an SDP discovery by passing the object's embedded hf->sdp_param to bt_sdp_discover(). That call links the caller-owned parameter block into the SDP client's request list (session->reqs in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/sdp.c). If the subsequent bt_rfcomm_dlc_connect() then failed, the affected code wiped the entire object with (void)memset(new_hf, 0, sizeof(*new_hf)) while that discovery was still outstanding, zeroing the sys_snode_t _node that is still linked in the SDP client's list along with the request's func, uuid and pool pointers, and zeroing the hf->slc_work work item that may already be queued on the system workqueue. The discovery could not be retracted instead: bt_sdp_discover_cancel() is declared in include/zephyr/bluetooth/classic/sdp.h but has no implementation. The failing branch is reachable with peer-supplied input. The documented use of bt_hfp_hf_connect() is to pass the RFCOMM channel read out of the remote Audio Gateway's SDP record; neither bt_sdp_get_proto_param() nor bt_hfp_hf_connect() range-checks that value, s

  • Oct 26, 2026The Bluetooth host pre-allocates a bt_conn object (a "reservation") from the fixed acl_conns[] pool for every connectable advertising set it starts, in le_adv_sCVE-2026-81039 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 4.3

The Bluetooth host pre-allocates a bt_conn object (a "reservation") from the fixed acl_conns[] pool for every connectable advertising set it starts, in le_adv_start_add_conn() in subsys/bluetooth/host/adv.c. When an incoming peripheral connection completes, find_pending_connect() in subsys/bluetooth/host/hci_core.c looked that reservation up using only the identity and the peer address, with a directed-then-undirected fallback, and had no knowledge of which advertising set actually terminated. With CONFIG_BT_EXT_ADV_MAX_ADV_SET > 1, where the LE Enhanced Connection Complete event is cached until the LE Advertising Set Terminated event identifies the set, this lookup can return the reservation belonging to a different, still-running advertising set. The defect is reachable over the air by any adjacent device. If an application runs two connectable extended advertising sets on the same identity — one undirected and one directed at a peer P (the common "directed reconnect to a bonded central while still accepting new centrals" pattern) — a remote initiator whose address maps to P connecting on the undirected set causes the directed set's reservation to be consumed instead. CloudPirates Open Source Helm Charts is a collection of Helm charts. Prior to commit 271d415, pull_request_target workflow is vulnerable to cache poisoning and OIDC token theft. A pull_request_target workflow checks out fork code using github.event.pull_request.head.sha or .head.ref. This gives attacker-controlled code access to base repository secrets and tokens. A pull_request_target workflow writes to a shared Actions cache. A subsequent release or publish workflow restores from the same cache scope, allowing a poisoned cache entry to execute during release. This issue has been patched via commit 271d415.

Vaadin Charts renders charts with the Highcharts library and pins an exact version of it, 9.2.2 in Vaadin 22 to 24 and 12.2.0 in Vaadin 25, so an application cannot remove these vulnerabilities by upgrading Highcharts on its own. Highsoft disclosed several vulnerabilities in that library that are reachable through the chart configuration: writes to Object.prototype through dotted series.keys paths, and cross-site scripting through credits.href, through breadcrumbs.style, through HTML text parsing while printing, and through xlink:href attributes in exported charts. An application is affected where data an attacker controls reaches the chart configuration, for example through additionalOptions, through updateConfiguration(), or through text options that accept markup. The fixed Vaadin versions apply Highsoft's recommended workarounds to the bundled Highcharts when it loads, and keep the same Highcharts version. Users of affected versions should apply the following mitigation or upgrade. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: 8250_bcm7271: fix use-after-free in brcmuart_remove() brcmuart_handle_irq() starts priv->hrt to work around a receive-timeout quirk of the 8250 core when hardware flow control is enabled; the timer callback brcmuart_hrtimer_func() dereferences priv. brcmuart_remove() cancels the hrtimer before it unregisters the port, so a receive-timeout interrupt that arrives in between re-arms the timer. After devm frees priv, the callback runs on freed memory. Unregister the port before cancelling the hrtimer. serial8250_unregister_port() shuts the port down and frees its IRQ, so brcmuart_handle_irq() can no longer restart the timer, and the final hrtimer_cancel() drains any timer that was armed before or during the unregister. • Oct 16, 2026Wheels through 4.1.1 derives its default production error-email address from the Host header of the request that starts the application.CVE-2026-111450 · Other software · Wheels · reported by MITREMedium 5.9

Wheels through 4.1.1 derives its default production error-email address from the Host header of the request that starts the application. If no explicit error-email recipient is configured, a mail server is configured, and the server accepts an attacker-chosen Host, an attacker whose request triggers a cold start can direct later error emails to an address under their control for that application's lifetime. Emails disclose error and request metadata; on engines/versions where scope dumps render, they may also disclose configuration secrets and other users' session/cookie data. On the Lucee 7 engine, scope dumps fail to render, limiting disclosure to header fields. This is fixed in 4.1.2.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vdpa_sim_blk: reject out-of-range sector starts vdpasim_blk_check_range() logs an invalid CVE-2026-97991 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vdpa_sim_blk: reject out-of-range sector starts vdpasim_blk_check_range() logs an invalid start sector but continues validating the request. The subsequent unsigned capacity subtraction can underflow and let an out-of-range buffer offset reach the data path. The invalid offset is used by three request paths. VIRTIO_BLK_T_OUT copies guest data to blk->buffer + offset through vringh_iov_pull_iotlb(), causing an out-of-bounds write in _copy_from_iter() or memcpy(). VIRTIO_BLK_T_IN copies from blk->buffer + offset to the guest through vringh_iov_push_iotlb(), causing an out-of-bounds read in _copy_to_iter(). VIRTIO_BLK_T_WRITE_ZEROES passes blk->buffer + offset to memset(), causing an out-of-bounds write. Reject starts at or beyond the capacity before the subtraction. Treat the capacity boundary as invalid because the IN and OUT paths round byte counts down to sectors for validation but later copy the original byte counts. A sub-sector request at the capacity boundary would otherwise still access past the end of the buffer. I found this bug myself, though the patch was written with AI assistance.

  • Sep 21, 2026Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts.CVE-2026-65980 · Other software · chartbrew · reported by GitHubHigh 7.9

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.3, Chartbrew's ClickHouse protocol in server/sources/plugins/clickhouse/clickhouse.protocol.js calls applySqlVariables() from server/sources/shared/sql/sql.variables.js without enabling the escapeBackslash option. For a ClickHouse-backed chart with variable binding, an attacker can supply a backslash before a quote so quote doubling does not keep the value within its intended SQL string literal. Public dashboards can expose this path without authentication, and successful exploitation can execute arbitrary ClickHouse SQL to disclose data or, when the database configuration permits, access files or internal network resources. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.3.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's runQuery() implementation in server/modules/ai/orchestrator/tools/runQuery.js interpolates the AI tool's row_limit parameter into a SQL LIMIT clause without runtime integer validation. The read-only keyword check runs before this value is appended, so an authenticated user who can influence a model-generated non-integer row_limit can add SQL that bypasses the earlier check. Successful exploitation can execute arbitrary statements against the connected database, including reading or changing data and, where database permissions permit, accessing files or executing operating-system commands. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.2.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's runQuery() implementation in server/modules/ai/orchestrator/tools/runQuery.js attempts to enforce read-only database access with a blocklist containing only seven SQL keywords. An authenticated user with AI feature access can submit dangerous statements or database functions that are absent from the read-only keyword blocklist, causing them to execute without SQL injection or keyword-obfuscation techniques. Depending on the database engine, configuration, and database-user privileges, this can expose or write files, access internal network resources, change database privileges, execute commands, or alter data. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.2.

Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.2, Chartbrew's server/modules/safeRequest.js calls validateOutboundUrl() to resolve and validate a target hostname, but request-promise performs a separate DNS resolution for the actual connection. An authenticated user who can create or test API connections and controls the target DNS name can return a public address during validation and a private address during the request, bypassing the protections implemented by server/modules/outboundTargetPolicy.js. This DNS rebinding condition can expose internal services, localhost resources, or cloud metadata endpoints. This issue is fixed in version 5.2.2.
