  • Oct 9, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-108261 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to tinacms 3.14.0 and @tinacms/app 2.5.14, the /~/* admin preview route in packages/tinacms/src/admin/index.tsx can turn an attacker-controlled hash-router splat into an off-origin iframe URL through packages/@tinacms/app/src/preview.tsx, while packages/@tinacms/app/src/lib/preview-origin.ts derives expectedOrigin from that same URL for the GraphQL message channel in packages/@tinacms/app/src/lib/graphql-reducer.ts. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted link to a signed-in editor, cause the admin to frame an attacker origin, and have that frame treated as the trusted preview. The attacker-controlled frame can submit GraphQL reads or mutations that the admin executes with the editor credentials, exposing or modifying protected content. This issue is fixed in tinacms 3.14.0 and @tinacms/app 2.5.14.

  • Oct 9, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-108260 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 0.2.1, the tina-markdown element in packages/@tinacms/web-components/src/tina-markdown.js assigns a rich-text node.url value directly to an anchor href without validating the URL scheme. A content author can store a link using a script-capable scheme, and a visitor who clicks the rendered link executes attacker-controlled script in the site's origin. The script can access same-origin application data and, when the visitor is an editor or administrator, may expose credentials stored by the TinaCMS admin on that origin. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.1.

  • Oct 9, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-108259 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 3.0.0, @tinacms/cli reads Git branch values from VERCEL_GIT_COMMIT_REF, GITHUB_BRANCH, or HEAD, incorporates the raw value into the API URL, and interpolates that URL into JavaScript string literals in packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/codegen/index.ts and packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/codegen/codegen/plugin.ts. A crafted Git-valid branch name containing a quote can terminate the generated string and inject an expression that executes when the generated client module is imported during a preview build. The injected code runs with the build process privileges and can read environment credentials, modify deployment artifacts, or make network requests. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0.

  • Sep 16, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-63506 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to @tinacms/auth 1.1.4 and next-tinacms-azure 15.0.1, isAuthorized accepts a request-controlled clientID and asks isUserAuthorized to validate the bearer token against that selected TinaCloud app instead of the self-hosted site's configured app. An attacker with any TinaCloud account can submit the attacker's own app ID and valid token to a victim endpoint, causing TinaCloudBackendAuthProvider or an affected media authorized callback to accept the attacker's verified status across the tenant boundary. The vulnerable logic is present in packages/@tinacms/auth/src/index.ts and packages/next-tinacms-azure/src/auth.ts. Successful exploitation permits media listing, reading, upload, or deletion and, when TinaCloudBackendAuthProvider is used, GraphQL read, create, update, and delete operations on the victim's content without a victim account or victim interaction. This vulnerability is fixed in @tinacms/auth 1.1.4 and next-tinacms-azure 15.0.1.

  • Aug 19, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-63123 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 2.5.2, the TinaCMS CLI package's Vite dev server packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/vite/cors.ts origin callback returns false for a disallowed origin but does not reject the request, and packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/vite/plugins.ts still routes POST /media/upload/* to mediaRouter.handlePost. The upload code in packages/@tinacms/cli/src/next/commands/dev-command/server/media.ts writes attacker-controlled multipart contents inside the configured media root. A remote attacker can cause a developer's browser to submit this state-changing request by inducing the developer to visit an attacker-controlled page while tinacms dev is running. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.2.

  • Aug 19, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-59992 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to next-tinacms-s3 23.0.4, next-tinacms-dos 23.0.4, next-tinacms-azure 14.0.4, and next-tinacms-cloudinary 26.0.4, the first-party production media adapters pass attacker-controlled object keys to storage SDK upload and delete operations without enforcing the operator's configured mediaRoot. In packages/next-tinacms-s3/src/handlers.ts, createMediaHandler accepts req.query.key for a signed PutObject URL and the DELETE path uses req.query.media as the DeleteObjectCommand key. The same missing key-boundary check exists in packages/next-tinacms-dos/src/handlers.ts, packages/next-tinacms-azure/src/handlers.ts, and packages/next-tinacms-cloudinary/src/handlers.ts. An authenticated CMS editor can therefore create or delete objects anywhere the deployment's storage credential can reach, including other tenants' or non-media objects. These issues are fixed in next-tinacms-s3 23.0.4, next-tinacms-dos 23.0.4, next-tinacms-azure 14.0.4, and next-tinacms-cloudinary 26.0.4.

  • Jul 1, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-55661 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8

Tina is a headless content management system. In versions prior to @tinacms/mdx 2.1.7 and tinacms 3.9.3, rich-text parsing and the default link/image renderers did not sanitize the url field on Slate link/image nodes. Content containing javascript: or data:text/html URLs — including case-variant, whitespace-padded, and control-character-obfuscated forms — is rendered into href/src and executes when the content is viewed. Any actor able to author rich-text content (for example a lower-privileged editor, or imported/external content) can achieve stored XSS against editors and site viewers. This issue is fixed in versions @tinacms/mdx 2.1.7 and tinacms 3.9.3.

  • Jul 1, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-55660 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6

Tina is a headless content management system. In versions prior to @tinacms/app 2.5.6 and tinacms 3.9.3, cross-origin postMessage handlers and a rich-text URL-sanitization bypass enable stored XSS and session takeover. The library registers window message listeners — the useTina overlay handler, the OAuth authentication popup handler, and the admin↔preview iframe GraphQL reducer — that act on event.data without verifying event.origin or event.source and post messages using non-specific target origins, while insufficient URL sanitization in rich-text content allows malicious URLs to persist and execute. A page the victim visits (or a window in an opener/iframe relationship with a Tina admin) can forge messages to drive the editor, inject preview content, or observe/forge the OAuth popup channel to take over an authenticated editing session. This issue has been fixed in versions @tinacms/app 2.5.6 and tinacms 3.9.3.

  • Jul 1, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-54074 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

Tina is a headless content management system. @tinacms/cli versions prior to 2.4.3 contain a Remote Code Execution vulnerability in the Forestry-to-Tina migration command. The internal helper addVariablesToCode unquotes any value matching the marker "__TINA_INTERNAL__:::(.*?):::" inside the stringified collection JSON. User-supplied label and name fields from .forestry/**/*.yml are placed into that JSON without any sanitisation. An attacker who controls a Forestry-style project can therefore inject arbitrary JavaScript into the generated tina/templates.{ts,js} file. The injected code is written at module top level, so it executes the moment the developer runs tinacms dev or tinacms build, with the developer's privileges. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.3.

  • May 6, 2026Masa CMS is affected by an Open Redirect vulnerability due to improper handling of scheme-relative URLs.CVE-2026-40332 · Other software · MasaCMS · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Masa CMS is affected by an Open Redirect vulnerability due to improper handling of scheme-relative URLs. The application incorrectly interprets paths beginning with double slashes (//) as internal paths, failing to validate the redirect target before processing. The application treats these values as internal paths and processes them without confirming that the redirect target remains on the local site. An attacker can craft a URL on the trusted Masa CMS domain that redirects a victim to an external attacker-controlled site. This can be used for phishing and, in some authentication flows, may expose tokens or other sensitive data to the external site. This issue has been fixed in versions 7.2.10, 7.3.15, 7.4.10, and 7.5.3. As a workaround, reject or rewrite redirect parameters that begin with // and consider disabling forceDirectoryStructure if compatible with the deployment.

  • May 6, 2026Masa CMS is a content management system forked from Mura CMS.CVE-2026-40326 · Other software · MasaCMS · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Masa CMS is a content management system forked from Mura CMS. In versions 7.5.2 and earlier, the createBundle method in `csettings.cfc` does not properly validate anti-CSRF tokens for site bundle creation requests. An attacker can craft a malicious webpage or link that, when visited by a logged-in administrator, triggers the silent creation of a comprehensive site bundle. This bundle is saved to a predictable, publicly accessible web directory. An unauthenticated attacker can then retrieve the bundle and obtain site content, user account data, password hashes, form submissions, email lists, plugins, and configuration data. This issue has been fixed in versions 7.2.10, 7.3.15, 7.4.10, and 7.5.3. As a workaround, remove unexpected bundle files from public directories, restrict access to the affected endpoint, and limit exposure of administrative sessions.

  • May 6, 2026Masa CMS is a content management system forked from Mura CMS.CVE-2026-40325 · Other software · MasaCMS · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Masa CMS is a content management system forked from Mura CMS. In versions 7.5.2 and earlier, the `cTrash.restore` function does not properly validate anti-CSRF tokens for content restoration requests. An attacker can trick a logged-in administrator to submit a forged request that restores deleted items from the trash and places them at an attacker-controlled location in the site structure through the parentid parameter. This can restore previously deleted malicious or outdated content, expose sensitive documents by moving them into publicly accessible locations, and disrupt site structure or content integrity. This issue has been fixed in versions 7.2.10, 7.3.15, 7.4.10, and 7.5.3. As a workaround, restrict access to the administrative backend, use browser isolation for administrative sessions, and regularly empty the trash to reduce the amount of content available for unauthorized restoration.

In versions 7.2.0 through 7.2.9, 7.3.0 through 7.3.14, 7.4.0 through 7.4.9, and 7.5.0 through 7.5.2, the unauthenticated JSON API accepts an altTable parameter that is stored via the setAltTable() method without validation or sanitization. This value is injected directly into a SQL FROM clause within feedGateway.cfc. An unauthenticated attacker can pass an arbitrary subquery into the altTable parameter to read sensitive data from any table in the database in a single HTTP request, including administrative credentials and password reset tokens. This issue has been fixed in versions 7.2.10, 7.3.15, 7.4.10, and 7.5.3. • Apr 1, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-34604 · Other software · tinacms · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to version 2.2.2, @tinacms/graphql uses string-based path containment checks in FilesystemBridge. That blocks plain ../ traversal, but it does not resolve symlink or junction targets. If a symlink/junction already exists under the allowed content root, a path like content/posts/pivot/owned.md is still considered "inside" the base even though the real filesystem target can be outside it. As a result, FilesystemBridge.get(), put(), delete(), and glob() can operate on files outside the intended root. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2.

Prior to version 2.2.2, @tinacms/cli recently added lexical path-traversal checks to the dev media routes, but the implementation still validates only the path string and does not resolve symlink or junction targets. If a link already exists under the media root, Tina accepts a path like pivot/written-from-media.txt as "inside" the media directory and then performs real filesystem operations through that link target. This allows out-of-root media listing and write access, and the same root cause also affects delete. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2.

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to version 2.2.2, a path traversal vulnerability in @tinacms/graphql allows unauthenticated users to write and overwrite arbitrary files within the project root. This is achieved by manipulating the relativePath parameter in GraphQL mutations. The impact includes the ability to replace critical server configuration files and potentially execute arbitrary commands by sabotaging build script. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2.

MuraCMS through 10.1.10 contains a CSRF vulnerability that allows attackers to permanently destroy all deleted content stored in the trash system through a simple CSRF attack. The vulnerable cTrash.empty function lacks CSRF token validation, enabling malicious websites to forge requests that irreversibly delete all trashed content when an authenticated administrator visits a crated webpage. Successful exploitation of the CSRF vulnerability results in potentially catastrophic data loss within the MuraCMS system. When an authenticated administrator visits a malicious page containing the CSRF exploit, their browser automatically submits a hidden form that permanently empties the entire trash system without any validation, confirmation dialog, or user consent.

The update address CSRF vulnerability in MuraCMS through 10.1.10 allows attackers to manipulate user address information through CSRF. The vulnerable cUsers.updateAddress function lacks CSRF token validation, enabling malicious websites to forge requests that add, modify, or delete user addresses when an authenticated administrator visits a crafted webpage. Successful exploitation of the update address CSRF vulnerability results in unauthorized manipulation of user address information within the MuraCMS system, potentially compromising user data integrity and organizational communications. When an authenticated administrator visits a malicious webpage containing the CSRF exploit, their browser automatically submits a hidden form that can add malicious addresses with attacker-controlled email addresses and phone numbers, update existing addresses to redirect communications to attacker-controlled locations or deleted legitimate address records to disrupt business operations. This can lead to misdirected sensitive communications, compromise of user privacy through injection of attacker contact information, disruption of legitimate business correspondence, and potential social engineer

  • Mar 18, 2026The Trash Restore CSRF vulnerability in MuraCMS through 10.1.10 allows attackers to restore deleted content from the trash to unauthorized locations through CSRCVE-2025-55044 · Other software · Murasoftware · reported by MITREHigh 8.8

The Trash Restore CSRF vulnerability in MuraCMS through 10.1.10 allows attackers to restore deleted content from the trash to unauthorized locations through CSRF. The vulnerable cTrash.restore function lacks CSRF token validation, enabling malicious websites to forge requests that restore content to arbitrary parent locations when an authenticated administrator visits a crafted webpage. Successful exploitation of the Trash Restore CSRF vulnerability results in unauthorized restoration of deleted content to potentially inappropriate or malicious locations within the MuraCMS website structure. When an authenticated administrator visits a malicious webpage containing the CSRF exploit, their browser automatically submits a hidden form that restores specified content from the trash to a location determined by the attacker through the parentid parameter. This can lead to restoration of previously deleted malicious content, placement of sensitive documents in public areas, manipulation of website navigation structure, or restoration of outdated content that was intentionally removed for security or compliance reasons.

MuraCMS through 10.1.10 contains a CSRF vulnerability in the bundle creation functionality (csettings.cfc createBundle method) that allows unauthenticated attackers to force administrators to create and save site bundles containing sensitive data to publicly accessible directories. This vulnerability enables complete data exfiltration including user accounts, password hashes, form submissions, email lists, plugins, and site content without administrator knowledge. This CSRF vulnerability enables complete data exfiltration from MuraCMS installations without requiring authentication. Attackers can force administrators to unknowingly create site bundles containing sensitive data, which are saved to publicly accessible web directories. The attack executes silently, leaving administrators unaware that confidential information has been compromised and is available for unauthorized download.

MuraCMS through 10.1.10 contains a CSRF vulnerability in the Add To Group functionality for user management (cUsers.cfc addToGroup method) that allows attackers to escalate privileges by adding any user to any group without proper authorization checks. The vulnerable function lacks CSRF token validation and directly processes user-supplied userId and groupId parameters via getUserManager().createUserInGorup(), enabling malicious websites to forge requests that automatically execute when an authenticated administrator visits a crafted page. Adding a user to the Super Admins group (s2 user) is not possible. Successful exploitation results in the attacker gaining privilege escalation both horizontally to other groups and vertically to the admin group. Escalation to the s2 User group is not possible.

  • Mar 18, 2026The import form CSRF vulnerability in MuraCMS through 10.1.10 allows attackers to upload and install malicious form definitions through a CSRF attack.CVE-2025-55040 · Other software · Murasoftware · reported by MITREHigh 8.8

The import form CSRF vulnerability in MuraCMS through 10.1.10 allows attackers to upload and install malicious form definitions through a CSRF attack. The vulnerable cForm.importform function lacks CSRF token validation, enabling malicious websites to forge file upload requests that install attacker-controlled forms when an authenticated administrator visits a crafted webpage. Full exploitation of this vulnerability would require the victim to select a malicious ZIP file containing form definitions, which can be automatically generated by the exploit page and used to create data collection forms that steal sensitive information. Successful exploitation of the import form CSRF vulnerability could result in the installation of malicious data collection forms on the target MuraCMS website that can steal sensitive user information. When an authenticated administrator visits a malicious webpage containing the CSRF exploit and selects the attacker-generated ZIP file, their browser uploads and installs form definitions that create legitimate forms that could be designed with malicious content.

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 2.1.8, the TinaCMS CLI development server exposes media endpoints that are vulnerable to path traversal, allowing attackers to read and write arbitrary files on the filesystem outside the intended media directory. When running tinacms dev, the CLI starts a local HTTP server (default port 4001) exposing endpoints such as /media/list/*, /media/upload/*, and /media/*. These endpoints process user-controlled path segments using decodeURI() and path.join() without validating that the resolved path remains within the configured media directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.8.

  • Mar 12, 2026Tina is a headless content management system.CVE-2026-24125 · Other software · @tinacms · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 2.1.2, TinaCMS allows users to create, update, and delete content documents using relative file paths (relativePath, newRelativePath) via GraphQL mutations. Under certain conditions, these paths are combined with the collection path using path.join() without validating that the resolved path remains within the collection root directory. Because path.join() does not prevent directory traversal, paths containing ../ sequences can escape the intended directory boundary. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.2.
