In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: au1000: move setting of netops to fix crash au1000_probe() calls au1000_mii_probe(), which connects the PHY, before dev->netdev_ops is assigned. phy_attach_direct() -> phy_link_topo_add_phy() reads dev->netdev_ops through netdev_need_ops_lock() since the commit in question, so probing crashes with a NULL pointer dereference when CONFIG_NET_SHAPER is enabled. Assign netdev_ops before the PHY attach, as was done for emac in commit 7c9f391ec89c ("net: emac: move setting of netops to fix crash").

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: stmmac: dwmac1000: clear the RGMII status interrupt Since commit 2e2c878a3141 ("net: stmmac: remove SGMII/RGMII/SMII interrupt handling") nothing on the RGMII path reads GMAC_RGSMIIIS, so RGSMIIIS stays pending behind GMAC_INT_MASK from the first link change on. stmmac_resume() resets the MAC in stmmac_hw_setup(); the reset sets GMAC_INT_MASK to 0 until dwmac1000_core_init() writes the mask again, and the pending status storms the line: dwmac_dma_interrupt: unexpected status 04000000 A register dump at the first message on ODROID-HC4 showed it: core int_status 00000001 int_mask 00000000 pmt 00000000 rgsmiiis 0000000d When the resume thread runs on the CPU that takes the MAC interrupt, the storm starves it: a soft lockup, then a watchdog reset or a hang. Read GMAC_RGSMIIIS in dwmac1000_irq_status() when the status is not masked, as the driver did before 2e2c878a3141; the read clears it. • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix out-of-bounds read in P2P public action frames wilc_wfi_p2p_rx() and mCVE-2026-98190 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix out-of-bounds read in P2P public action frames wilc_wfi_p2p_rx() and mgmt_tx() start parsing a frame once ieee80211_is_public_action() returns true. That helper only verifies the frame is long enough for the action category field, that is offsetofend(struct ieee80211_mgmt, u.action.category), 25 bytes. Both functions then read the P2P public action header up to oui_subtype at offset 30 and pass "size - ie_offset" to cfg80211_find_vendor_ie(), where ie_offset is offsetof(struct ieee80211_mgmt, u) + sizeof(*d), i.e. 32. A public action frame of 25 to 31 bytes passes the check but is shorter than that 32 byte header, so oui_subtype can be read out of bounds, and because the length is unsigned, "size - ie_offset" underflows to a value close to 4 GiB. cfg80211_find_vendor_ie() takes an unsigned int length, so even the size_t subtraction in mgmt_tx() is truncated to the same value. It then walks far past the buffer searching for a vendor element until it reaches unmapped memory. In the receive path the frame arrives over the air and needs no association, so a nearby unauthenticated device can cras

  • Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix RX buffer OOB-write in wilc_wlan_handle_isr_ext() wilc_wlan_handle_isrCVE-2026-98189 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix RX buffer OOB-write in wilc_wlan_handle_isr_ext() wilc_wlan_handle_isr_ext() takes the RX transfer size from the device-reported interrupt status register (a 15-bit field shifted left by 2, up to 131068 bytes) and reads that many bytes from the device into rx_buffer, which is only WILC_RX_BUFF_SIZE (96K) large. The wrap check only handles the current offset; the size itself is never compared against the buffer, so a bogus SDIO device can make the driver OOB-write rx_buffer by up to ~32K with data it controls. The oversized transfer also leaves rx_buffer_offset past the end of the buffer, after which the unsigned wrap check stops working and the overflow can repeat. Drop any transfer whose size exceeds the RX buffer, acknowledging the data interrupt and re-arming the RX engine so the bogus frame is discarded and reception can continue. This also restores the rx_buffer_offset <= WILC_RX_BUFF_SIZE invariant the wrap check relies on. This is not expected to change driver behavior in most cases: without this check, an oversized transfer would most likely corrupt neighboring kernel memory instead

  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: au1000: move free_irq out of the close-time spinlocked section au1000_close() calls fCVE-2026-93815 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: au1000: move free_irq out of the close-time spinlocked section au1000_close() calls free_irq() while aup->lock is still held with spin_lock_irqsave(). free_irq() can sleep because it takes the IRQ descriptor request mutex, so it does not belong inside the close-time spinlocked section. This was found by our static analysis tool and then confirmed by manual review of the in-tree au1000_close() .ndo_stop path. The reviewed path keeps aup->lock held across the MAC reset, queue stop and free_irq(dev->irq, dev). A directed runtime validation kept that ndo_stop carrier and the same free_irq(dev->irq, dev) operation under the driver lock. Lockdep reported "BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context" and "Invalid wait context" while free_irq() was taking desc->request_mutex, with au1000_close() and free_irq() on the stack. Drop aup->lock before freeing the IRQ. The protected close-time work still stops the device and queue before IRQ teardown, but the sleepable IRQ core path now runs outside the spinlocked section.

  • Sep 8, 2026HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow cross-site scripting via a submitted value rendered unescaped in an error message.CVE-2026-19872 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 6.1

HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow cross-site scripting via a submitted value rendered unescaped in an error message. The wrappers and renderers that emit a form's errors interpolate the error string straight into HTML with no escaping. Two of the library's own messages, no_match and not_allowed, splice the submitted value into that string, and a failing type constraint puts the rejected value into the message it builds, which _apply_actions hands to add_error. A field declared with a check regexp, a check list or a type constraint reaches those messages, with no custom validator and no non-default configuration. Errors rendered through an application's own escaping template layer rather than the library's rendering roles are not affected. A request over the network that submits markup to such a field gets it back live inside the error span, running script in the victim's origin. Re-rendering a rejected value later gives the stored variant.

PassMark PerformanceTest before 11.1 build 1012, BurnInTest before 11.1 build 1000, and OSForensics before 11.1 build 1016 contain an unauthenticated physical memory disclosure in DirectIo64.sys, reachable by unprivileged local users through a single IOCTL with no caller-identity check. The handler writes a crash-dump-format (PAGEDU64) image of all physical memory to a caller-supplied file path in the SYSTEM context, allowing a standard user to create files in locations they cannot otherwise write and to recover memory belonging to processes of other users. The image is preceded by a header that exposes the kernel loaded-module list, active-process list and PFN database pointers, defeating KASLR. The same handler also dereferences the return value of an internal kernel-structure locator without a NULL check; that locator returns NULL on three distinct failure paths, and a kernel crash results on builds where any of those paths is taken.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: error out for >10000 active_mem_bp damos_quota_score() can trigger division by zero if the target value is zero. DAMON_LRU_SORT lets users set the target value for the hot memory scheme via active_mem_bp parameter. It avoids setting it as the target value if the parameter value is zero. However, it also sets the cold memory scheme with a target value that is calculated as '10000 - active_mem_bp + 2'. Hence, if a user sets active_mem_bp 10002, the cold memory scheme's quota goal target value can be zero. As a result, division by zero can be triggered. Fix by returning an error when the user tries to start DAMON with >10000 active_mem_bp parameter value. It makes no sense to set active_mem_bp with 10002. It also requires module parameters write permission to reproduce the issue. That said, the consequence is quite bad. One reliable way to reproduce the issue is like below: # cd /sys/module/damon_lru_sort/parameters # echo 1000 > wmarks_high # echo 995 > wmarks_mid # echo 0 > wmarks_low # echo 10002 > active_mem_bp # echo Y > enabled # dmesg -w [...]

HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow attacker selected method dispatch and resource exhaustion because _apply_actions and add_error use error message text built from request data as a Locale::Maketext bracket notation template. add_error hands its first argument to the language handle as the Locale::Maketext message key, and the default handle's lexicon sets `_AUTO`, so a string that is not a lexicon entry is compiled as a bracket notation template instead of being looked up. In a bracket group the first token names a method called on the language handle and the remaining tokens are its arguments. Three kinds of text the library did not author reach that position. _apply_actions installs a `$SIG{__WARN__}` handler that stores the warning text in `$error_message`, and a captured warning survives a successful action, so a field carrying a numeric transform turns `Argument "[sprintf,%50000000d,0]" isn't numeric` into the template; a warning quotes the submitted value verbatim, so the group is well formed and dispatches. `$error_message ||= $tobj->validate($new_value)` takes a type constraint's own failure message, which renders the rejected value through a parti

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: validate assoc response length before subtracting header wilc_parse_assoc_resp_info() computes the trailing IE length as ies_len = buffer_len - sizeof(*res); without first checking that buffer_len is at least sizeof(struct wilc_assoc_resp) (6 bytes). buffer_len is the length reported for a received association response (host_int_parse_assoc_resp_info() passes hif_drv->assoc_resp / assoc_resp_info_len straight in) and must be validated before the driver accesses the fixed header. For a frame shorter than the 6-byte fixed header, the subtraction wraps. For a four-byte response the result is truncated to a u16 ies_len of 65534, so kmemdup() then attempts to copy 65534 bytes starting at buffer + sizeof(*res), beyond the valid association-response data (CWE-125). A response shorter than four bytes can also cause an out-of-bounds read of res->status_code at offsets 2 and 3. Reject frames too short to hold the fixed header before touching the header or computing ies_len. Also set the connection status to a failure on this path: the caller falls through to a "conn_info->status == WLAN_STATUS_SUCCESS"

The non-blocking (asynchronous) JSON parser in jackson-core does not enforce the maxNumberLength constraint defined in StreamReadConstraints (default: 1000 characters). An attacker able to submit JSON to an application that uses the async parser API can supply a number token of arbitrary length, leading to excessive memory allocation and potential CPU exhaustion, resulting in a denial of service. The synchronous parser enforces this limit correctly, so the constraint is applied inconsistently depending on which parsing API the application uses. Root cause: the async parsing path in NonBlockingUtf8JsonParserBase and related classes never invokes the number length validation methods. Number parsing methods such as _finishNumberIntegralPart() accumulate digits into the TextBuffer without any length check, then call _valueComplete() to finalize the token. _valueComplete() does not call resetInt() or resetFloat(), which are the methods in ParserBase where validateIntegerLength() and validateFPLength() are performed. Because that validation step is skipped, maxNumberLength is never enforced on the async code path. Impact: an attacker sending a JSON document containing an arbitra
