A BIND resolver encountering an SVCB/HTTPS AliasMode record referencing 14 or more SVCB/HTTPS ServiceMode records may fail to properly deallocate internal resources. If this happens repeatedly, resource exhaustion will eventually prevent the resolver from performing new recursive lookups. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.21.0 through 9.21.25, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1.

  • Sep 16, 2026Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information in ZenHive mpp allows a shared HTTP cache to store a paid response and serve it to clients that never paid.CVE-2026-89186 · Other software · ZenHive · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information in ZenHive mpp allows a shared HTTP cache to store a paid response and serve it to clients that never paid. MPP.Plug.verify_credential in lib/mpp/plug.ex sets payment-receipt and cache-control: private on the connection before the wrapped application runs, and registers no register_before_send/2 callback. Plug.Conn.put_resp_header/3 replaces an existing header, so a mounting application that sets its own cache-control on the paid resource (for example public, max-age=3600) silently overrides the private the library relies on, and a CDN or reverse proxy can then store the paid 200 together with its Payment-Receipt and serve both to unpaid clients. The library-level guarantee is therefore defeatable by the application it protects. For the same reason a downstream non-2xx response still carried Payment-Receipt, issuing a receipt for a response that delivered no resource. This issue affects mpp: from 0.1.0 before 0.16.2.

  • Sep 16, 2026NLnet Labs Unbound 1.12.0 up to and including 1.26.0 has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-HTTPs support with '--with-libnghttp2'.CVE-2026-82720 · Other software · NLnet Labs · reported by sep@nlnetlabs.nlMedium 5.9

NLnet Labs Unbound 1.12.0 up to and including 1.26.0 has a use-after-free vulnerability when compiled for DNS-over-HTTPs support with '--with-libnghttp2'. During failure code paths (i.e., RPZ drop query, jostle due to heavy traffic), a dropped DoH stream brings down the whole DoH session and does not account properly for other DoH streams in the same session. This leads to use-after-free in those code paths. If the prerequisites are satisfied (possible RPZ drop or heavy client traffic), a malicious actor can trigger the vulnerability with a single DoH connection and the appropriate traffic. Impact is limited as the reads are not user controlled and the use-after-free leads to early returns. However, a hardened allocator can catch the use-after-free and controllably terminate the process resulting to denial of service.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-88975 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.37 and 1.0.0-M48, Ember’s HTTP/2 read loop parses a frame’s 24-bit declared length but waits to buffer the entire payload before comparing it with SETTINGS_MAX_FRAME_SIZE. An unauthenticated peer can declare a payload near 16 MiB on a connection where Ember advertised 16 KiB and either complete or slowly stream it, causing up to 1024-fold memory amplification per connection before processFrame can reject the frame. The shared H2Connection.readLoop affects withHttp2 servers and clients, while HTTP/2-disabled configurations are unaffected, and the patch rejects oversized frames before buffering their payloads. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.37 and 1.0.0-M48.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69218 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, When Ember receives an HTTP/2 HEADERS or PUSH_PROMISE frame without END_HEADERS, H2Connection buffers the header block and subsequent CONTINUATION fragments without a size bound. A remote peer can keep an incomplete block open and exhaust heap memory before request decoding, affecting an ember-server or ember-client configured with withHttp2. The remediation tracks accumulated size against SETTINGS_MAX_HEADER_LIST_SIZE derived from EmberServerBuilder.maxHeaderSize or EmberClientBuilder.maxResponseHeaderSize, sends GOAWAY when the limit is exceeded, and applies receiveHeadersTimeout to incomplete blocks. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69217 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember’s HTTP/1.1 parser accepts differing duplicate Content-Length headers and uses the last value instead of rejecting the message. When an Ember server is behind a keep-alive intermediary that selects a different occurrence, an unauthenticated attacker can create CL.CL request smuggling that bypasses front-end controls, captures a later user’s headers, or poisons a cache. The shared client parser can also misframe responses from a malicious or compromised upstream when the client acts as a proxy for multiple downstream consumers. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The CookieJar client middleware uses unanchored substring checks instead of RFC 6265 domain and path matching when deciding whether to attach a stored cookie. A cookie for example.com can consequently be sent to an attacker-controlled hostname such as evilexample.com when an application using the same jar makes an attacker-influenced outbound request. This exposes session or authentication cookies and can enable hijacking of the application’s outbound sessions. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, WebSocket FrameTranscoder.bodyLength rejects extended payload lengths above Integer.MAX_VALUE but permits negative 64-bit lengths. A remote client that completes a WebSocket handshake through an Ember server can send such a frame, causing the decoder to return an empty frame without advancing its input. The decode loop then runs indefinitely, pins a worker at full CPU, and grows an ArrayBuffer without bound, resulting in denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, DigestAuth replay protection records lastNc plus one instead of the highest nonce-count value it has accepted. When a legitimate client sends noncontiguous nc values because of parallel or retried requests, the stored counter remains below the accepted maximum, allowing a passive observer to replay a captured Authorization header multiple times. • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69205 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember’s HeaderP.parse uses a case-sensitive substring test for the Transfer-Encoding value and decodes header bytes with the platform default charset. Values such as Chunked are not recognized, values such as notchunked are incorrectly accepted, and Unicode case folding can turn a Kelvin-sign byte sequence into a match when UTF-8 is used. Intermediaries that apply RFC-compliant token and charset rules can therefore disagree with Ember’s Content-Length or zero-length framing, enabling TE.CL or TE.0 request smuggling, access-control bypass, cross-user request hijacking, and cache poisoning on the server path. Response smuggling through an ember-client gateway requires a malicious or compromised upstream. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69202 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember’s HTTP/2 flow-control window is replenished according to bytes received from the network rather than bytes consumed by the application, while each stream stores DATA in an unbounded channel. A hostile peer can therefore send a body faster than a slow or non-draining application consumes it, retaining payloads in heap on an ember-server or ember-client configured with withHttp2. The patch bounds the per-stream H2Connection body channel so application consumption applies backpressure. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

  • Sep 15, 2026Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services.CVE-2026-69216 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember’s chunk decoder trims the chunk-size token and accepts leading plus or minus signs instead of requiring one or more hexadecimal digits followed by the required CRLF. When an intermediary forwards chunked data without re-encoding and interprets malformed chunk boundaries differently, an unauthenticated attacker can create TE.TE request smuggling that bypasses intermediary controls, poisons caches, or hijacks the request queue. The same response-path leniency can enable response smuggling against an ember-client used as a gateway when the upstream is malicious or compromised. Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The CookieJar client middleware stores a response cookie’s Domain attribute without checking that it domain-matches the host that supplied the cookie or rejecting public suffixes. A malicious or compromised server contacted through the same CookieJar can plant a cookie for another domain, and the jar later sends that cookie to the victim domain, enabling session fixation or overwriting security-sensitive cookies. The patch validates the Set-Cookie domain against the response origin, although public-suffix rejection remains unimplemented. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47.

Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, Ember HTTP/2 serializes outbound frames through one unbounded queue consumed by writeLoop. When the peer stops reading, an unauthenticated HTTP/2 client can continue sending PING, SETTINGS, or DATA frames that cause Ember to enqueue acknowledgments or WINDOW_UPDATE frames faster than the writer drains them, exhausting heap memory on a server built with withHttp2. Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The FollowRedirect client middleware strips Authorization and Cookie headers only when a redirect changes authority, but authority comparison excludes the URI scheme. • Sep 15, 2026webhookd is a minimalist webhook server that triggers shell scripts and external processes through HTTP requests.CVE-2026-59157 · Other software · ncarlier · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

webhookd is a minimalist webhook server that triggers shell scripts and external processes through HTTP requests. Prior to 1.22.0, webhookd deployments without htpasswd authentication forwarded all incoming HTTP headers through HTTPParamsToShellVars in pkg/api/index.go into the hook script environment without an allowlist. When an upstream reverse proxy did not strip a client-supplied X-WebAuthn-User header and a hook script trusted that variable for identity or privilege, a remote unauthenticated attacker could spoof another user, bypass script security controls, and access or modify resources available to the impersonated identity. This issue is fixed in version 1.22.0.

NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_v3_module module. When using HTTP/3 with OpenSSL versions <= OpenSSL 3.5.0 under certain configurations, a limited heap buffer overflow could happen while processing a TLS handshake. This can happen in a non-deterministic manner that is beyond the attacker's control. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart and/or limited data corruption. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or limited data corruption. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.

  • Sep 14, 2026Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition.CVE-2026-65838 · Other software · zalando · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.27.35, the opaAuthorizeRequestWithBody filter in filters/openpolicyagent/openpolicyagent.go can allow an oversized declared Content-Length request to bypass a deny-on-presence Rego policy because ExtractHttpBodyOptionally leaves OPA with an empty parsed_body while forwarding the complete request body upstream. This incomplete remediation of CVE-2026-50197 affects deployments that authorize request-body content and exceed -open-policy-agent-max-request-body-size, which defaults to 1 MB. Policy logic that does not reject input.attributes.request.http.truncated_body can therefore fail open and permit a forbidden payload to reach the protected service, while small bodies and the previously fixed chunked-body case are evaluated normally. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.35.

  • Sep 14, 2026Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition.CVE-2026-54247 · Other software · zalando · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.26.22, Handler in dataclients/kubernetes/admission/admission.go passes the body of requests to the Kubernetes admission endpoint at :9443/admission directly to io.ReadAll(r.Body) without a size limit. An attacker with in-cluster network access and a valid Kubernetes client certificate can send a very large body that causes unbounded memory allocation and an out-of-memory termination of the Skipper process. The disruption is limited to Ingress and RouteGroup admission rather than pod creation or unrelated admission controllers, and Kubernetes normally restarts the process. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.22.

  • Sep 14, 2026Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition.CVE-2026-54246 · Other software · zalando · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7

Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. Prior to 0.27.13, the routesrv component serves cluster-wide control-plane data without application-layer authentication through /routes, /routes/{zone}, /swarm/redis/shards, and /swarm/valkey/shards. The handlers registered in routesrv/routesrv.go, eskipBytes.ServeHTTP in routesrv/eskipbytes.go, RedisHandler.ServeHTTP in routesrv/redishandler.go, and ValkeyHandler.ServeHTTP in routesrv/valkeyhandler.go only restrict HTTP methods and do not authenticate callers. A compromised or otherwise attacker-controlled pod that can reach routesrv on the Kubernetes cluster network can bypass its namespace-scoped RBAC and read Ingress and RouteGroup backend URLs, filter-chain and OAuth or OIDC path details, and Redis or Valkey shard addresses across namespaces. NetworkPolicy can restrict reachability but does not remove the missing-authentication condition, and the established impact is confidentiality exposure rather than direct integrity or availability loss. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.13.

  • Sep 14, 2026blaze is a Scala library for building asynchronous pipelines, with a focus on network IO.CVE-2026-73494 · Other software · http4s · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

blaze is a Scala library for building asynchronous pipelines, with a focus on network IO. Prior to 0.23.18 and from 1.0.0-M1 until 1.0.0-M42, five HTTP/1.1 conformance laxities in the hand-written Java parser under http/src/main/java/org/http4s/blaze/http/parser/ can cause blaze to derive a different request boundary than a stricter fronting intermediary. A default BlazeServerBuilder accepts invalid or valueless header field names that violate tchar syntax, obsolete folded field lines (obs-fold), unsupported Transfer-Encoding values, duplicate Content-Length fields, and requests containing both Transfer-Encoding and Content-Length. If a lenient or legacy proxy forwards the malformed bytes but interprets them differently, the disagreement can permit front-end authorization bypass, response-queue poisoning on pooled backend connections, or cache poisoning. Exploitation requires a pair of disagreeing parsers; no non-default blaze configuration is required. The affected checks are enforced in BodyAndHeaderParser and Http1ServerParser. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.18 and 1.0.0-M42.
