In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu: Handle unmap error when iommu_debug is enabled Sashiko noticed a latent bug where the map error flow called iommu_unmap() which calls iommu_debug_unmap_begin()/iommu_debug_unmap_end() however since this is an error path the map flow never actually established the original iommu_debug_map() it will malfunction. Lift the unmap error handling into iommu_map_nosync() and reorder it so the trace_map()/iommu_debug_map() records the partial mapping and then immediately unmaps it. This avoid creating the unbalanced tracking and provides saner tracing instead of a unmap unmatched to any map.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: qcom_geni: fix kfifo underflow when flush precedes DMA completion IRQ When uart_flCVE-2026-63883 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.3
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: qcom_geni: fix kfifo underflow when flush precedes DMA completion IRQ When uart_flush_buffer() runs before the DMA completion IRQ is delivered, the following race can occur (all steps serialized by uart_port_lock): 1. DMA starts: tx_remaining = N, kfifo contains N bytes 2. DMA completes in hardware; IRQ is pending but not yet delivered 3. uart_flush_buffer() acquires the port lock and calls kfifo_reset(), making kfifo_len() = 0 while tx_remaining remains N 4. uart_flush_buffer() releases the port lock 5. DMA IRQ fires; handle_tx_dma() acquires the port lock and calls uart_xmit_advance(uport, tx_remaining) on an empty kfifo uart_xmit_advance() increments kfifo->out by tx_remaining. Since kfifo_reset() already set both in and out to 0, out wraps past in, causing kfifo_len() to return UART_XMIT_SIZE - tx_remaining. The next start_tx_dma() call then submits a DMA transfer of stale buffer data. Fix this by snapshotting kfifo_len() at the start of handle_tx_dma() and skipping uart_xmit_advance() when fifo_len < tx_remaining, which indicates the kfifo was reset by a preceding flush.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: use kvfree() for replaced sysctl write buffer proc_sys_call_handler() allocates its temporary sysctl buffer with kvzalloc() and passes it to __cgroup_bpf_run_filter_sysctl(). Since kvzalloc() may fall back to vmalloc() for large allocations, freeing that buffer with kfree() is wrong and can corrupt memory. Use kvfree() to safely handle both kmalloc and kvzalloc()/vmalloc allocations. The bug was first flagged by an experimental analysis tool we are developing for kernel memory-management bugs while analyzing v6.13-rc1. The tool is still under development and is not yet publicly available. Manual inspection confirms that the bug is still present in v7.1-rc5. Reproduced the bug based on v7.1-rc4 in a QEMU x86_64 guest booted with KASAN and CONFIG_FAILSLAB enabled. To exercise the replacement path, the test tree also included the accompanying fix for the stale ret == 1 check in __cgroup_bpf_run_filter_sysctl(). The reproducer confines failslab injections to the proc_sys_call_handler() range, uses stacktrace-depth=32, and injects fail-nth=1 while writing 8191 bytes to /proc/sys/kernel/domainname from a task i

Jul 14, 2026A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM Advanced (All versions).CVE-2026-54429 · Other software · Siemens · reported by productcert@siemens.comMedium 6
A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM Advanced (All versions). Affected devices do not properly handle high-volume multicast network traffic, which can exhaust available memory resources in the affected application. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker on the local network segment to cause a denial-of-service condition of the affected application. The affected application becomes inaccessible and requires a manual restart; no project data is lost. Successful exploitation requires a specific project configuration to be already active on the targeted instance.

The fix for CVE-2026-0716 (commit 6ff7ef0, libsoup 3.6.6) placed the integer overflow guard inside the if (masked) block, leaving unmasked server-to-client frames unprotected. A malicious WebSocket server can send a crafted unmasked frame with a payload length near UINT64_MAX to trigger an OOB read in a libsoup-based client when max_incoming_payload_size is set to 0.

Jul 13, 2026CedarJava is an open source Java implementation of the Cedar policy language, used for fine-grained authorization decisions.CVE-2026-55773 · Other software · cedar-policy · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
CedarJava is an open source Java implementation of the Cedar policy language, used for fine-grained authorization decisions. In versions prior to 2.3.6, 3.4.1 and 4.9.0, under certain circumstances, improper input handling could allow Cedar-expression injection via unescaped toCedarExpr(). The toCedarExpr() method on Cedar Value types does not escape special characters (" or \) when converting values to Cedar source code. If an integrator uses toCedarExpr() to build policy text at runtime from user-controlled values, an actor could inject arbitrary Cedar expressions. For example, injecting || true into a permit ... when { ... } clause could make the permit unconditional, or injecting && false into a forbid clause could prevent the forbid from triggering. This issue requires the integrator to use toCedarExpr() to build policy text at runtime from user-controlled input. This vulnerability has been fixed in versions 2.3.6, 3.4.1, and 4.9.0.

Jul 13, 2026CedarJava is an open source Java implementation of the Cedar policy language, used for fine-grained authorization decisions.CVE-2026-55771 · Other software · cedar-policy · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
CedarJava is an open source Java implementation of the Cedar policy language, used for fine-grained authorization decisions. In versions prior to 4.9.0, the EntityIdentifier.equals() has inverted null/self branches which could lead to incorrect equality comparisons. The EntityIdentifier.equals() method has inverted logic for null and self-reference checks, returning true for null comparisons and false for self-comparisons. This does not affect Cedar authorization decisions (computed in Rust from JSON), but could affect integrators who perform their own equality checks on entity identifiers. This issue has been fixed in version 4.9.0.

Jul 13, 2026CedarJava is an open source Java implementation of the Cedar policy language, used for fine-grained authorization decisions.CVE-2026-55772 · Other software · cedar-policy · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
CedarJava is an open source Java implementation of the Cedar policy language, used for fine-grained authorization decisions. In versions prior to 2.3.6, 3.4.1 and 4.9.0, under certain circumstances, improper input handling could allow Record-to-Entity type confusion across the Java-Rust FFI boundary. CedarJava sends authorization requests to the Rust cedar-policy evaluator as JSON. The JSON protocol reserves magic single-key object shapes (__entity and __extn) for entity references and extension values. When serializing a CedarMap, there is no validation preventing these reserved keys from being used. If an integrating service builds a CedarMap from caller-supplied key/value data (such as request headers, user-defined metadata, or resource tags), an actor who controls those keys could cause the Rust evaluator to interpret a record as an entity reference. This issue requires the integrating service to build a CedarMap where the an actor controls the keys, and a policy must reference that value in a when/unless clause. This vulnerability has been fixed in versions 2.3.6, 3.4.1, and 4.9.

Jul 13, 2026In the Apache Airflow FAB auth manager, a DAG whose `dag_id` is `DAGs` collided with the global all-DAGs permission resource name produced by `resource_name()`,CVE-2026-59245 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.1
In the Apache Airflow FAB auth manager, a DAG whose `dag_id` is `DAGs` collided with the global all-DAGs permission resource name produced by `resource_name()`, so a user granted per-DAG `access_control` on that one DAG was silently granted the global all-DAGs permission (privilege escalation). The escalation triggers when a DAG named `DAGs` exists and a lower-privileged user is given per-DAG access to it, granting that user read/edit access to every DAG. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow-providers-fab` 3.7.2 or later, which disambiguates the resource-name collision.

Jul 9, 2026An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the advanced forwarding toolkit (evo-aftmand) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved CVE-2026-33794 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netHigh 8.2
An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the advanced forwarding toolkit (evo-aftmand) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series allows an unauthenticated network-based attacker generating continuous routing updates, resulting in unilist ECMP routes, to crash the evo-aftmand process on the PFE, leading to a Denial-of-Service (DoS). The conditions required for successful exploitation are based on a sequence of events that are outside an attacker's direct control. Unified list (unilist) ECMP routes are a specific ECMP behavior where multiple equal-cost routes share a single logical next-hop list entry. The router treats them as one route with multiple next hops and load balances traffic across that unified list. Due to an issue processing unilist ECMP routing updates, internal state corruption may occur, especially in large-scale ECMP unilist deployments, leading to the evo-aftmand process crashing, resulting in an evo-aftmand-bx core. Manual intervention is required to recover by rebooting the system or restarting the FPC. This issue affects Junos OS Evolved on PTX : * from 24.4R2-EVO before 24.4R2-S3-EVO; * from 25.2 before 2
