  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.7.1 fails to enforce the owner-only authorization requirement for Claude Code permission prompts delivered throughCVE-2026-100585 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.7.1 fails to enforce the owner-only authorization requirement for Claude Code permission prompts delivered through the MCP channel bridge. An authorized non-owner channel sender with channel command access can approve or deny a pending permission request intended for the owner, causing the requested action to proceed without owner consent. The practical impact depends on the pending action and the host capabilities requested by the Claude Code run. The issue is fixed in version 2026.7.1.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw channel plugins (@openclaw/msteams, @openclaw/feishu, @openclaw/matrix, and @openclaw/googlechat) before 2026.8.1 do not enforce the configured channelCVE-2026-100582 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

OpenClaw channel plugins (@openclaw/msteams, @openclaw/feishu, @openclaw/matrix, and @openclaw/googlechat) before 2026.8.1 do not enforce the configured channel read allowlist for caller-supplied explicit read targets in message, reaction, pin, member, and related metadata read actions. A lower-trust sender or a steered agent with access to a channel read action can therefore retrieve content or metadata from channels or rooms excluded by the operator's read policy; the practical impact depends on the permissions held by the connected bot account. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 does not correctly enforce per-chat tool policies for Codex app-server runtime tools.CVE-2026-100552 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 does not correctly enforce per-chat tool policies for Codex app-server runtime tools. A conversation-level tools.allow rule filtered OpenClaw tools but did not restrict the shell, process, file, and patch tools owned by the Codex runtime. When a lower-trust conversation was assigned to a Codex runtime and restricted with a per-chat tool allowlist, a participant able to trigger that agent could still reach native command and file tools, bypassing the configured allowlist. The practical impact depends on the runtime's host permissions and sandbox configuration. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw for iOS versions >= 2026.7.1 and < 2026.8.11 do not enforce saved Gateway TLS pins in the Control UI.CVE-2026-100551 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9

OpenClaw for iOS versions >= 2026.7.1 and < 2026.8.11 do not enforce saved Gateway TLS pins in the Control UI. While native connections enforced the saved Gateway fingerprint, the authenticated Terminal and session Dashboard WebViews omitted it. If a user had accepted a Gateway fingerprint, an attacker able to redirect the same host and port and present a different certificate that is accepted by iOS system trust can serve a replacement Control UI page; opening the Terminal or a session Dashboard then allows that page to read the injected Gateway token or password. The stolen credential can grant operator access, including reading sensitive Gateway state and invoking host-capable tools. This issue is fixed in 2026.8.11.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.8.1 incorrectly enforces sender tool policies during session-memory filename generation.CVE-2026-100545 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6

OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.8.1 incorrectly enforces sender tool policies during session-memory filename generation. In affected versions, filename generation created an embedded helper that retained tools which the originating sender's policy had removed. When session-memory filename generation was enabled for an agent reachable by lower-trust senders, model-mediated instructions could cause the helper to invoke tools outside that sender's effective policy; the demonstrated impact was the creation of persistent scheduled work. Exploitability depends on the model acting on the injected instruction and on which tools the helper exposes. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1; as a workaround, disable session-memory filename generation for agents reachable by lower-trust senders.

The OpenClaw Prometheus diagnostics plugin (@openclaw/diagnostics-prometheus) before version 2026.9.3 does not enforce the operator.read scope on its authenticated metrics endpoint. In deployments using an identity-bearing Gateway authentication mode such as trusted-proxy, a caller whose effective role has no read scope can retrieve the diagnostics document even though ordinary read methods reject the same identity, disclosing operational metrics to an authenticated profile intentionally limited below read access. Shared-secret Gateway callers already hold the documented full operator scope and are not affected. The issue is fixed in 2026.9.3; as a workaround, disable the Prometheus endpoint or ensure every identity that can reach it is intended to hold operator.read.

  • Sep 25, 2026A malicious txtar could escape the intended execution context and force arbitrary writes to the playground host's trusted filesystem.CVE-2026-94445 · Other software · golang.org/x/playground · reported by security@golang.orgHigh 8.8

A malicious txtar could escape the intended execution context and force arbitrary writes to the playground host's trusted filesystem. Disjointly, one of the three possible paths to invoke go vet on the playground host did not correctly restrict the execution environment. This permitted a Go process to make a read for an environment configuration file rooted in the playground host's $HOME. Together, a well-crafted go env file and the go vet invocation could lead to remote code execution in the playground host itself. This does not affect users of go.dev/play directly; however, it may affect independent deployments of golang.org/x/playground.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: honor forceuid/forcegid when mapping SIDs to uid/gid When the administrator mounts with forceuid or forcegid (uid=/gid= mount options), they expect all files to appear owned by the specified user/group. However, several code paths unconditionally called sid_to_id() to overwrite cf_uid/cf_gid with server-provided values, ignoring the administrator's explicit override: - smb311_posix_info_to_fattr() (stat via POSIX extensions) - cifs_posix_to_fattr() (readdir via POSIX extensions) - parse_sec_desc() (CIFS ACL ownership mapping) This allowed an untrusted server to dictate local file ownership even when the mount was configured to force specific uid/gid values. Fix all three call sites to check CIFS_MOUNT_OVERR_UID and CIFS_MOUNT_OVERR_GID before calling sid_to_id(), following the same pattern already used by cifs_unix_basic_to_fattr() for unix extensions.

A flaw was found in the Level of Authentication enforcement mechanism of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when a client specifically requires a higher security level for a user who already has an active session at a lower level. In MISP, the CollectionsController add() method enforced the sharing-group usability authorization check and element capture only when the HTTP request method was POST. However, the underlying CRUDComponent::add() method persists data on both POST and PUT requests. As a result, an authenticated user could issue a PUT request to the collections/add endpoint, bypassing the sharing-group authorization check entirely. This allowed the creation of a collection with distribution=4 (shared with a specific sharing group) targeting a sharing group that the user was not authorized to use. The bypassed check would normally verify that the current user has access to the specified sharing group before allowing the collection to be associated with it. The security impact is that an authenticated user can place collection data into a sharing group context they do not have legitimate access to, potentially exposing that data to all members of the unauthorized sharing group and violating the intended access-control boundaries of the MISP instance. The vulnerability requires an authenticated session and knowledge of a valid sharing group identifier; no user interaction or special tooling is needed

From 1.0.0 until 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1, Reader.Read in pkg/viaduct/pkg/packer trusts the 32-bit PackageHeader.PayloadLen received through the CloudHub viaduct message-processing path and allocates that amount of memory before validating an upper bound. An authenticated malicious or compromised edge peer can repeatedly send crafted headers with excessive declared lengths, causing memory exhaustion, CloudHub process termination or restart loops, and temporary disruption of cloud-edge communication. Hatchet is a platform for orchestrating background tasks, AI agents, and durable workflows at scale. Prior to 0.106.1, the WorkerStatus gRPC polling path in pkg/repository/durable_events.go passes caller-supplied durable task, node, and branch identifiers to ListSatisfiedEntries without a tenant filter, allowing an authenticated tenant worker that knows another tenant's durable-task UUID to retrieve matching durable event-log records. The UUIDv4 requirement makes exploitation unlikely, and single-tenant deployments are unaffected in practice. This issue is fixed in version 0.106.1.

Hatchet is a platform for orchestrating background tasks, AI agents, and durable workflows at scale. Prior to 0.95.3, the V1 DurableTask stream handler stores worker-supplied task_external_id values in the durableInvocations routing map before tenant ownership is verified, and callback delivery resolves that map by task UUID without tenant identity. An authenticated tenant worker that knows another tenant's durable task UUID and keeps a stream open on the same dispatcher process can receive that task's durable callback result payload. UUIDv4 values are not enumerable, and single-tenant deployments are unaffected in practice. This issue is fixed in version 0.95.3.

github.com/temporalio/ringpop-go enforces configured LabelOptions limits when an application changes the local node's labels, but affected versions do not apply those limits to label maps received in SWIM membership changes. A network peer that can reach a live Ringpop TChannel listener can repeatedly submit changes for distinct member addresses containing label keys, values, or counts that exceed the receiver's configured limits. Accepted labels are retained in the member list and disseminated to peers, allowing memory and gossip-bandwidth consumption to exceed configured bounds and potentially making the hosting process unavailable. The fix validates peer-supplied label maps before they are retained or disseminated. Availability only; no confidentiality or integrity impact was identified.

temporalio/sqlparser accepts SQL containing deeply nested unary expressions and can return a correspondingly deep abstract syntax tree without enforcing an applicable nesting limit. The library's String and Walk operations recursively traverse that tree. An application that parses attacker-controlled SQL and later formats or walks the returned tree can encounter a runtime-fatal Go stack overflow that terminates the process; Go panic recovery cannot contain this condition. Temporal Server passes caller-controlled query input through the affected parser in archival, visibility, and worker-query paths. In affected validation paths, the Server recursively formats an invalid expression while constructing an error. In a supported authenticated deployment, a caller with namespace read permission can terminate the receiving Frontend or Matching process. The dynamically confirmed ListWorkers route additionally requires at least one retained worker heartbeat. Repeated requests can sustain a denial of service. The issue affects availability only; no confidentiality or integrity impact was identified.

In OpenStack Blazar before 17.0.1, the V2 lease API does not enforce object-level authorization on its update and delete operations (PUT /v2/leases/{lease_id} and DELETE /v2/leases/{lease_id}). The policy authorize() wrapper attempts to load the target lease to build the authorization target from its owner, but it looks up the lease under the keyword "lease_id" whereas the controller methods name the parameter "id" (and the wsme_pecan.wsexpose wrapper delivers it positionally). The lookup returns None, and thus authorization falls back to the requesting user's own project_id/user_id instead of the target lease owner. Any authenticated user who knows a lease ID can therefore modify or delete leases belonging to other users and projects, bypassing the intended ownership check.

  • Sep 18, 2026Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications.CVE-2026-77339 · Other software · F1bonacc1 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications. Prior to 1.120.0, the MCP SSE listener in src/mcp/server.go accepts browser-origin requests to /sse and the returned message endpoint without validating the Host header, validating the Origin header, or authenticating the caller. When MCP SSE is enabled, a malicious website can use DNS rebinding to reach the loopback listener and issue MCP requests. If expose_control_tools is enabled, the attacker can enumerate process state, read or search logs, truncate logs, and start, stop, restart, or scale local processes; configured user-defined tools can expose additional commands and output. The Gin REST API token middleware does not protect this separately started MCP listener. This issue is fixed in version 1.120.0.
