  • Sep 10, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-45770 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.5, a Lua rule that registers too many flow variables can corrupt Lua detection state and may bypass Suricata's restricted Lua sandbox. This requires an affected Lua script/rule to be loaded. Excessive flow variables being registered may also cause Suricata to crash. Version 8.0.5 contains a fix. As a workaround, disable `security.lua.allow-rules` unless Lua rules are required.

  • Sep 10, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-45769 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5,IKEv2 parser state could grow without bounds while storing client transforms. Repeated crafted UDP traffic may cause Suricata to consume excessive memory, potentially resulting in denial of service. Versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5 fix the issue. Some workarounds are available. Disable IKE application-layer parsing if it is not needed. Alternatively, use a rule to bypass ike flows after the first packets like `alert ike any any -> any any (sid: 2; flow.pkts_toserver: > 256; bypass; noalert;)`.

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.5, LDAP transaction state could store an unbounded number of responses. Because LDAP can be processed over UDP, crafted traffic may cause Suricata to consume excessive memory, potentially resulting in denial of service. Version 8.0.5 contains a fix. As a workaround, disable LDAP application-layer parsing where it is not required. Alternatively, use a rule like `alert ldap any any -> any any (sid: 1; ldap.responses.count: >1024; bypass;)`.

  • Sep 10, 2026Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine.CVE-2026-45762 · Other software · OISF · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, Suricata's IP defragmentation tracker lookup did not verify that an existing tracker used the same IP address family as the packet being processed. Under crafted fragmented IPv4/IPv6 traffic, an IPv6 fragment could be associated with an IPv4 defragmentation tracker. This can lead to a remote packet-triggered crash and denial of service when Suricata performs the relevant defragmentation. Versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5 contain a fix. As a workaround, if using Suricata as an IDS with AF_PACKET, enabling AF_PACKET's `defrag` option may prevent Suricata from seeing such fragmented packets.

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.5, when certain detection transforms are chained, the decompress transform pipeline could read from an inspection buffer after it had been reallocated and freed. The issue is reached during network traffic processing, but requires a malicious rule as Suricata will crash whatever the traffic. Version 8.0.5 contains a fix. As a workaround, avoid rules that chain `gunzip` or `zlib_deflate` with `max-size` bigger than 4096 after another transform.

  • Sep 10, 2026Concrete CMS versions 8.3.0 through 9.5.2 are vulnerable to an authorization bypass in the Calendar event edit dialog (concrete/controllers/dialog/event/edit.phCVE-2026-68527 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 5.9

Concrete CMS versions 8.3.0 through 9.5.2 are vulnerable to an authorization bypass in the Calendar event edit dialog (concrete/controllers/dialog/event/edit.php). The dialog checked permissions against the calendar identifier supplied in the request rather than the calendar owning the targeted event occurrence. A user with the "Add Event" permission on a single calendar could read and overwrite events on calendars they were not permitted to access, and could delete an event's original local occurrence. Publishing the injected version to the live calendar, which demotes the previously approved version, additionally required the actor's approve_calendar_event workflow rights or an auto-approving workflow. The Concrete CMS Security Team gave this a rank of 5.9 with CVSS 4.0 vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:L/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Winston Crooker for reporting.

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, Suricata's HTTP/2 decompression path could grow the decompressed response-body buffer without an effective upper bound. A crafted HTTP/2 DATA payload using a high compression ratio, such as gzip, deflate, or brotli compressed data, could cause Suricata to allocate excessive memory while decompressing the payload. Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to version 7.0.16, the Lua TLS certificate information helper could dereference NULL certificate fields when a Lua script requested certificate information for TLS traffic where some certificate fields were absent. Crafted TLS traffic processed by a deployment using affected Lua TLS scripting could crash Suricata, resulting in denial of service. Version 7.0.16 contains a fix. As a workaround, avoid Lua scripts that call TLS certificate information helpers on untrusted traffic (`TlsGetCertInfo` function), or update scripts to handle missing certificate fields where possible.

  • Sep 10, 2026Affected versions of MISP do not consistently enforce the acting user's authorization when instantiating event templates.CVE-2026-88915 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1

Affected versions of MISP do not consistently enforce the acting user's authorization when instantiating event templates. For templates using distribution = 4, the template can specify a sharing_group_id. The instantiation path passed that value into event creation without verifying that the user instantiating the template was actually permitted to use the selected sharing group. The commit notes that Event::_add() only performed its own sharing-group authorization in another code path, leaving template instantiation able to write the identifier directly. The same instantiation path also attached template-specified tags without checking the user's normal tagging permissions. In addition, it hardcoded local => 0, meaning tags marked local_only could be attached globally and consequently propagate through synchronization or export, contrary to their intended restriction. The fix adds explicit SharingGroup::canUse() authorization for the acting user, applies the same tag-modification checks used by normal event tagging, and ensures local_only tags are attached locally. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Starting in version 8.0.0 and prior to version 8.0.5, when Lua rule execution is enabled, the Lua sandbox memory limit was not consistently enforced for new allocations. Certain Lua allocation patterns could exceed `security.lua.max-bytes` without triggering the intended memory limit, making the configured sandbox limit unreliable. This requires Lua rules to be enabled and an affected Lua script/rule to be loaded. Version 8.0.5 contains a fix. As a workaround, disable `security.lua.allow-rules` unless Lua rules are required.

The Site Reviews WordPress plugin before 8.3.0 does not prevent request data from being deserialized, and derives the key protecting that data by padding out the site's WordPress nonce key, which makes the key publicly computable on installs where that key is absent, left at its sample value, or too short to be secret. alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups. An Improper Access Control issue in versions prior to 2.0-M5-2605 allows an organization owner to read system-level configuration secrets through organization/event scoped "single configuration" endpoints. The affected endpoints require organization or event ownership, but they accept an arbitrary configuration key and then return the first matching value from a lookup that includes system-level configuration. As a result, an organization owner can retrieve secrets intended to be administrator-only, including the system API key when it is configured. Version 2.0-M5-2605 fixes the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring: defer eventfd signaling when queued from a wakeup handler io_req_local_work_add() signals the CQ ring eventfd inline when it is the one to push the first entry onto ->work_list. For DEFER_TASKRUN rings that add is frequently done from a waitqueue wakeup handler, where an arbitrary waitqueue lock is held. eventfd_signal_mask() only refuses to recurse when current->in_eventfd is set, but that bit is set by eventfd_signal_mask() itself. If the wake chain starts somewhere else, signal goes out inline and can feed back into epoll. Add IOU_F_TWQ_IN_WAKE, set it on the task_work add done from the three waitqueue callbacks, and use it to force io_eventfd_signal() down the existing call_rcu_hurry() deferral instead of signaling inline.

The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.22 via the 'event_layout' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included.

The WP Event Solution (Eventin) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 4.1.22 via the create_item() handler for the /wp-json/eventin/v2/orders REST endpoint. The endpoint's create_item_permissions_check() function only verifies a wp_rest nonce (which is leaked to every visitor through the etn-public script's localized_data_obj on every frontend page) and accepts a user-supplied 'status' value in prepare_item_for_database() with no whitelist validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create etn-order posts with status='completed' that are counted as sold by etn_get_sold_tickets_by_event(); because the auto-cleanup wp_schedule_single_event() in create_item() only fires for status='pending' orders, the forged completed orders persist indefinitely and exhaust ticket inventory.

An uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in the Windows SIPA event log parser of Google go-attestation versions up to and including 0.6.1 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS). The (*WinEvents).readELAMAggregation function recurses for every nested elamAggregation sub-event without enforcing a maximum recursion depth limit, while the size guard is bypassed on recursive execution paths. By submitting a crafted Windows event log containing deeply nested elamAggregation headers, an attacker can exhaust the goroutine call stack, triggering an unrecoverable fatal runtime error (stack overflow) that immediately crashes the verifier application.

A client may issue HTTP/2 requests to a Jetty server that result in blocking writes that are never unblocked, eventually causing all threads to be blocked and the whole server to become unresponsive. This is caused by a race condition in the server when handling RST_STREAM frames and GOAWAY frames sent by the client. The race condition "resets" the HTTP2Flusher.terminated, previously set to a non-null value, to the null value, allowing entries to be enqueued in the flusher that however will never be processed. These unprocessed entries are the ones that would unblock the write-blocked threads.

Affected versions of MISP allow authenticated users to retrieve object-reference records by UUID through EventGraphTool::get_reference_data() without first checking whether the requester is authorized to view the object the reference belongs to. The vulnerable code queried ObjectReference.uuid directly and returned the matching row whenever it existed. Because no parent-object ACL was applied, a user who knew or obtained a reference UUID could retrieve information associated with an object outside their normal access scope. The commit explicitly states that any object reference could be returned by UUID without authorizing its parent object. The fix retrieves the referenced object's object_id and calls fetchObjectSimple() with the current user. If the user cannot access that parent object, MISP now returns NotFoundException instead of exposing the reference. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Affected versions of MISP do not enforce parent-event visibility when serving cryptographic keys through CryptographicKeysController::view(). The vulnerable handler queried CryptographicKey directly using the supplied key ID and selected sensitive fields such as: * type * key_data * fingerprint but did not fetch or authorize the associated parent event first. The upstream commit explicitly states that cryptographicKeys/view could return a protected event’s signing key to any authenticated user. The fix adds parent_id and parent_type to the lookup and then enforces authorization through the associated event using fetchSimpleEvent($user, parent_id). If the parent is not an Event, access is limited to site administrators. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

MISP's UiBeta theme collection view (app/View/Themed/UiBeta/Collections/view.ctp) performed a secondary query of member events by UUID without applying the caller's access control list (ACL). The CollectionsController::view() action correctly resolved collection element UUIDs through Event::fetchSimpleEvents($user, ...), which enforces per-user event ACL. However, the view template independently re-queried the same UUIDs using only an Event.uuid IN (...) condition, omitting the createEventConditions() authorization filter. Because collection element UUIDs are stored without server-side authorization against the referenced event (CollectionElementsController::add() accepts whatever UUID the collection owner posts), an authenticated user with view access to a collection could retrieve full details of events they are not permitted to read. The exposed data included event identifiers, info, dates, timestamps, creator organization, all event tags, and galaxy clusters (the latter attached via a cluster-scoped rather than event-scoped ACL check). This constitutes an authorization bypass at the presentation layer, allowing horizontal privilege escalation across event boundaries within the
