  • Jul 28, 2026Use of an insecure cryptographic algorithm in the cashless payment system using NFC wristbands from CasfID Servicios Tecnológicos S.L.U.CVE-2026-4648 · Other software · CasfID Servicios Tecnológicos · reported by cve-coordination@incibe.esMedium 6.8

Use of an insecure cryptographic algorithm in the cashless payment system using NFC wristbands from CasfID Servicios Tecnológicos S.L.U. (version used at Resurrection Fest 2025), which employs cards based on MIFARE Classic technology (FM11RF08S). The cryptographic weakness of the authentication algorithm allows an attacker to retrieve access keys using techniques known as Backdoored Nested Attack, read the wristband’s entire contents, and clone its credentials onto a compatible rewritable card. Exploitation of this vulnerability could enable the impersonation of other attendees, the fraudulent use of the balance associated with their wristbands, and financial losses for both the affected users and the event organizers.

  • Jul 28, 2026In Bouncy Castle for Java from 1.73 to before 1.78, three ML-KEM (CRYSTALS-Kyber) routines divided secret-derived polynomial coefficients by the modulus q: PolyCVE-2024-14041 · Other software · Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. · reported by 91579145-5d7b-4cc5-b925-a0262ff19630High 8.2

In Bouncy Castle for Java from 1.73 to before 1.78, three ML-KEM (CRYSTALS-Kyber) routines divided secret-derived polynomial coefficients by the modulus q: Poly.toMsg, which decodes the decrypted message, and the ciphertext compression routines Poly.compressPoly and PolyVec.compressPolyVec. An attacker able to measure the timing of a large number of decapsulations performed with the same long-term private key can recover that key. These are the KyberSlash1 (Poly.toMsg) and KyberSlash2 (ciphertext compression) divisions. Compression performed during encapsulation operates on values that become the public ciphertext and is not affected.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/edid: fix OOB read in drm_parse_tiled_block() drm_parse_tiled_block() casts the DisplayID block to a struct displayid_tiled_block and reads the full fixed layout up to tile->topology_id[7] without checking block->num_bytes. The DisplayID iterator only validates the declared payload length, so a crafted EDID can advertise a tiled-display block (tag DATA_BLOCK_TILED_DISPLAY, or DATA_BLOCK_2_TILED_DISPLAY_TOPOLOGY for v2.0) with a small num_bytes at the end of a DisplayID extension. The read then runs past the end of the exact-sized kmemdup()'d EDID allocation, a heap out-of-bounds read. Reject blocks shorter than the spec's 22-byte tiled payload before reading the fixed struct, as drm_parse_vesa_mso_data() already does. • Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: fix out-of-bounds read in broadcast Gap ACK blocks A broadcast PROTOCOL/STATE_MSG caCVE-2026-64450 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: fix out-of-bounds read in broadcast Gap ACK blocks A broadcast PROTOCOL/STATE_MSG can carry a Gap ACK blocks record in its data area. tipc_get_gap_ack_blks() only verifies that the record's len field is self-consistent with its ugack_cnt/bgack_cnt counts (sz == struct_size(p, gacks, ugack_cnt + bgack_cnt)); it does not check that the record actually fits in the message data area, msg_data_sz(). The unicast caller tipc_link_proto_rcv() bounds it ("if (glen > dlen) break;"), but the broadcast caller tipc_bcast_sync_rcv() discards the returned size, so tipc_link_advance_transmq() copies the record off the receive skb with an attacker-controlled count: this_ga = kmemdup(ga, struct_size(ga, gacks, ga->bgack_cnt), GFP_ATOMIC); A TIPC neighbour that negotiated TIPC_GAP_ACK_BLOCK triggers it with one ordinary broadcast STATE_MSG (msg_bc_ack_invalid() clear), sized so its data area is short, carrying a Gap ACK record with len = 0x400, bgack_cnt = 0xff and ugack_cnt = 0. len then equals struct_size(p, gacks, 255), so the consistency check passes and ga is non-NULL; kmemdup() reads struct_size(ga, gacks, 255)

  • Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: igmp: remove multicast group from hash table on device destruction When a device is CVE-2026-64423 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: igmp: remove multicast group from hash table on device destruction When a device is destroyed under RTNL, ip_mc_destroy_dev() iterates through the multicast list and calls ip_ma_put() on each membership, scheduling them for RCU reclamation. However, they are not unlinked from the device's multicast hash table (mc_hash). Since the device remains published in dev->ip_ptr until after ip_mc_destroy_dev() completes, concurrent RCU readers traversing mc_hash can still locate and access the multicast group after its refcount is decremented. If the RCU callback runs and frees the group while a reader is accessing it, a use-after-free occurs. Fix this by unlinking the multicast group from mc_hash using ip_mc_hash_remove() before scheduling it for reclamation. • Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: prevent path traversal bypass by restricting caseless retry ksmbd_vfs_path_lookup()CVE-2026-64400 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.6

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: prevent path traversal bypass by restricting caseless retry ksmbd_vfs_path_lookup() enforces LOOKUP_BENEATH to restrict path resolution within the share root. When a crafted path attempts to escape the share boundary using parent-directory components ('..'), vfs_path_parent_lookup() detects this and immediately fails, returning -EXDEV. However, a bug exists in __ksmbd_vfs_kern_path() under caseless mode. The function fails to intercept the -EXDEV error and erroneously falls through to the caseless retry logic, which is intended only for genuinely missing files. During this retry process, the path is reconstructed, leading to an unintended LOOKUP_BENEATH bypass that allows write-capable users to create zero-length files or directories outside the exported share. Fix this by ensuring that the execution only proceeds to the caseless lookup retry when the error is specifically -ENOENT. Any other errors, such as -EXDEV from a path traversal attempt, must be returned immediately.

  • Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject fragmented frames in devmap Devmap broadcast redirects clone the packet for alCVE-2026-64355 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject fragmented frames in devmap Devmap broadcast redirects clone the packet for all but the last destination. For native XDP, that clone path copies only the linear xdp_frame data, while fragmented frames keep skb_shared_info in tailroom outside the linear area. Cloning such a frame leaves XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS set but without valid frag metadata, and the later free path can interpret uninitialized tail data as skb_shared_info, leading to an out-of-bounds access during frame return. Reject fragmented native XDP frames in dev_map_enqueue_clone(). Add the same restriction to the generic XDP clone path in dev_map_redirect_clone(). Generic XDP represents fragmented packets as nonlinear skbs, and rejecting them here keeps clone-based broadcast support aligned between native and generic XDP.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm: Disable broadcast TLB flush when PCID is disabled Booting with "nopcid" clears X86_FEATURE_PCID and keeps CR4.PCIDE from being set to one. On AMD CPUs that support INVLPGB, broadcast TLB flushing remains enabled. There are two checks that decide whether the global ASID code runs, mm_global_asid() and consider_global_asid(), that key off of the X86_FEATURE_INVLPGB feature. Once an mm becomes active on more than three CPUs, consider_global_asid() assigns it a global ASID, after which flush_tlb_mm_range() takes the broadcast_tlb_flush() path using a non-zero PCID. Apereo CAS Client accepts any CA-trusted certificate for any hostname, provided the URL the client is calling matches the configured allowlist or regex. An attacker with a MITM position (DNS poisoning, rogue Wi-Fi, malicious proxy, etc.) can provide any CA-signed certificate for a hostname that matches the configured allowlist or regex. This can lead to intercepting the CAS exchange, capturing the Ticket-Granting Ticket (TGT), and subsequently obtaining Service Tickets on behalf of the victim.  Because maintainers contact attempts were unsuccessful, vulnerabilities have only been confirmed in version 4.1.0 (Java Apereo CAS Client) and 3.6.4 (Jasig CAS Client) but may also affect other versions.

  • Jul 21, 2026Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key (CWE-639) in Kibana can lead to unauthorized information disclosure and case attachment integrity compromise viCVE-2026-56147 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coHigh 7.1

Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key (CWE-639) in Kibana can lead to unauthorized information disclosure and case attachment integrity compromise via Privilege Abuse (CAPEC-122). An inconsistency in Kibana's file access authorization logic allows a low-privileged authenticated user to retrieve, modify, and delete case attachments that belong to feature areas they are not authorized to access. Because the access control check and the resource retrieval use different resolution mechanisms, an authenticated attacker with limited file management permissions can obtain the contents of, modify, or delete protected case attachments — such as those associated with Security Solution cases — without holding the privileges required to access those features.

  • Jul 21, 2026A SQL injection (CWE-89) and security boundary bypass (CWE-863) vulnerability exists in the prebuilt BigQuery forecasting tool (bigquery-forecast) of googleapisCVE-2026-15829 · Computers, phones & browsers · Google · reported by cve-coordination@google.comHigh 8.6

A SQL injection (CWE-89) and security boundary bypass (CWE-863) vulnerability exists in the prebuilt BigQuery forecasting tool (bigquery-forecast) of googleapis/mcp-toolbox. The tool accepts client-controlled parameters (data_col, timestamp_col, and id_cols) as plain strings and interpolates them unescaped via fmt.Sprintf directly into a generated AI.FORECAST table-valued SELECT statement. While MCP Toolbox utilizes an allowedDatasets mechanism to restrict queries, this defense only validates the history_data parameter; the final assembled query is executed without re-validation. An attacker can break out of the string literal fields (such as timestamp_col) to inject a valid multi-statement or cross-dataset query block. This allows an unauthorized user to bypass the operator-configured allowedDatasets boundary and read arbitrary BigQuery tables.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: stub: Reject I2C block transfers with invalid length The I2C_SMBUS_I2C_BLOCK_DATA case in stub_xfer() uses data->block[0] as the transfer length. The existing check only clamps it to avoid overrunning the chip->words[256] register array, but does not validate it against I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX (32), which is the limit of the union i2c_smbus_data.block buffer (34 bytes total). The driver is a development/test tool (CONFIG_I2C_STUB=m, not built by default) that must be loaded with a chip_addr= parameter. A local user with access to /dev/i2c-* can issue an I2C_SMBUS ioctl with I2C_SMBUS_I2C_BLOCK_DATA and data->block[0] > 32, causing stub_xfer() to read or write past the end of the union i2c_smbus_data.block buffer: BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in stub_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-stub.c:223) Read of size 1 at addr ffff88800abcfd92 by task exploit/81 Call Trace: <TASK> stub_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-stub.c:223) __i2c_smbus_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-smbus.c:593) i2c_smbus_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-smbus.c:536) i2cdev_ioctl_smbus (drivers/i2c/i2c-dev.c:391) i2cdev_ioctl (drivers/i2c/i2c-dev.c:478) __x64_

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pds_core: fix error handling in pdsc_devcmd_wait Fix two cases where pdsc_devcmd_wait() returns stale success from the completion register instead of an error: 1. FW crash: If firmware stops running, the wait loop breaks early with running=false. The condition "if ((!done || timeout) && running)" is false, so error handling is bypassed and stale status is returned. Check !running first and return -ENXIO. 2. Timeout: If a command times out, err is set to -ETIMEDOUT but then overwritten by pdsc_err_to_errno(status) which reads stale status. Return -ETIMEDOUT immediately after cleaning up. Both errors now propagate to pdsc_devcmd_locked() which queues health_work for recovery.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ixgbevf: fix use-after-free in VEPA multicast source pruning ixgbevf_clean_rx_irq() prunes frames whose source MAC matches the VF's own address (VEPA multicast workaround) by freeing the skb and continuing to the next descriptor: dev_kfree_skb_irq(skb); continue; The skb pointer is declared outside the while loop and persists across iterations. Because the continue skips the "skb = NULL" reset at the bottom of the loop, the next iteration enters the "else if (skb)" path and calls ixgbevf_add_rx_frag() on the freed skb, dereferencing skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags - a use-after-free in NAPI softirq context. The sibling driver iavf already handles this correctly by nulling the pointer before continuing. Apply the same pattern here. I do not have ixgbevf hardware; the bug was found by static analysis (scan_drop_continue_loops.py + semgrep drop_continue_in_loop, multi-tool corroboration with the highest score in the scan). The UAF was confirmed under KASAN by loading a test module that reproduces the exact code pattern (alloc skb, kfree_skb, then read skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags): BUG: KASAN: slab-use-afte

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: mcast: fix use-after-free in orig_node RCU release batadv_mcast_purge_orig() removes entries from RCU-protected hlists but does not wait for an RCU grace period before returning. Concurrent RCU readers may still accesses references to those entries at the point of removal. RCU-protected readers trying to operate on entries like orig->mcast_want_all_ipv6_node will then access already freed memory. Fix this by moving batadv_mcast_purge_orig() to batadv_orig_node_release(), just before the call_rcu() invocation. This ensures RCU readers that were active at purge time have drained before the orig_node memory is reclaimed.

When global multicast snooping is enabled, the bridge iterates over all the bridge ports and enables the per-port multicast context on each port. The reverse happens when multicast snooping is disabled. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_mirred: Fix blockcast recursion bypass leading to stack overflow tcf_mirred_act() checks sched_mirred_nest against MIRRED_NEST_LIMIT (4) to prevent deep recursion. However, when the action uses blockcast (tcfm_blockid != 0), the function returns at the tcf_blockcast() call BEFORE reaching the counter increment. As a result, the recursion counter never advances and the limit check is entirely bypassed. When two devices share a TC egress block with a mirred blockcast rule, a packet egressing on device A is mirrored to device B via blockcast; device B's egress TC re-enters tcf_mirred_act() via blockcast and mirrors back to A, creating an unbounded recursion loop: tcf_mirred_act -> tcf_blockcast -> tcf_mirred_to_dev -> dev_queue_xmit -> sch_handle_egress -> tcf_classify -> tcf_mirred_act -> (repeat) This recursion continues until the kernel stack overflows. The bug is reachable from an unprivileged user via unshare(CLONE_NEWUSER | CLONE_NEWNET): user namespaces grant CAP_NET_ADMIN in the new network namespace, which is sufficient to create dummy devices, attach clsact qdiscs with shared block

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm: always recover the gpu Previously, in case there was no more work to do, recover worker wouldn't trigger recovery and would instead rely on the gpu going to sleep and then resuming when more work is submitted. Recover_worker will first increment the fence of the hung ring so, if there's only one job submitted to a ring and that causes an hang, it will early out. There's no guarantee that the gpu will suspend and resume before more work is submitted and if the gpu is in a hung state it will stay in that state and probably trigger a timeout again. Just stop checking and always recover the gpu. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/704066/
