Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_ecred_conn_req Syzbot reported a KCVE-2026-31513 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_ecred_conn_req Syzbot reported a KASAN stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_build_cmd() that is triggered by a malformed Enhanced Credit Based Connection Request. The vulnerability stems from l2cap_ecred_conn_req(). The function allocates a local stack buffer (`pdu`) designed to hold a maximum of 5 Source Channel IDs (SCIDs), totaling 18 bytes. When an attacker sends a request with more than 5 SCIDs, the function calculates `rsp_len` based on this unvalidated `cmd_len` before checking if the number of SCIDs exceeds L2CAP_ECRED_MAX_CID. If the SCID count is too high, the function correctly jumps to the `response` label to reject the packet, but `rsp_len` retains the attacker's oversized value. Consequently, l2cap_send_cmd() is instructed to read past the end of the 18-byte `pdu` buffer, triggering a KASAN panic. Fix this by moving the assignment of `rsp_len` to after the `num_scid` boundary check. If the packet is rejected, `rsp_len` will safely remain 0, and the error response will only read the 8-byte base header from the stack.

Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Validate PDU length before reading SDU length in l2cap_ecred_data_rcv() CVE-2026-31512 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Validate PDU length before reading SDU length in l2cap_ecred_data_rcv() l2cap_ecred_data_rcv() reads the SDU length field from skb->data using get_unaligned_le16() without first verifying that skb contains at least L2CAP_SDULEN_SIZE (2) bytes. When skb->len is less than 2, this reads past the valid data in the skb. The ERTM reassembly path correctly calls pskb_may_pull() before reading the SDU length (l2cap_reassemble_sdu, L2CAP_SAR_START case). Apply the same validation to the Enhanced Credit Based Flow Control data path.

Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix dangling pointer on mgmt_add_adv_patterns_monitor_complete This fixesCVE-2026-31511 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: Fix dangling pointer on mgmt_add_adv_patterns_monitor_complete This fixes the condition checking so mgmt_pending_valid is executed whenever status != -ECANCELED otherwise calling mgmt_pending_free(cmd) would kfree(cmd) without unlinking it from the list first, leaving a dangling pointer. Any subsequent list traversal (e.g., mgmt_pending_foreach during __mgmt_power_off, or another mgmt_pending_valid call) would dereference freed memory.

Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel: serialize btintel_hw_error() with hci_req_sync_lock btintel_hw_error()CVE-2026-31500 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel: serialize btintel_hw_error() with hci_req_sync_lock btintel_hw_error() issues two __hci_cmd_sync() calls (HCI_OP_RESET and Intel exception-info retrieval) without holding hci_req_sync_lock(). This lets it race against hci_dev_do_close() -> btintel_shutdown_combined(), which also runs __hci_cmd_sync() under the same lock. When both paths manipulate hdev->req_status/req_rsp concurrently, the close path may free the response skb first, and the still-running hw_error path hits a slab-use-after-free in kfree_skb(). Wrap the whole recovery sequence in hci_req_sync_lock/unlock so it is serialized with every other synchronous HCI command issuer. Below is the data race report and the kasan report: BUG: data-race in __hci_cmd_sync_sk / btintel_shutdown_combined read of hdev->req_rsp at net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:199 by task kworker/u17:1/83: __hci_cmd_sync_sk+0x12f2/0x1c30 net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:200 __hci_cmd_sync+0x55/0x80 net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c:223 btintel_hw_error+0x114/0x670 drivers/bluetooth/btintel.c:254 hci_error_reset+0x348/0xa30 net/bluetooth/hci_core.c:1030 write/f

Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix deadlock in l2cap_conn_del() l2cap_conn_del() calls cancel_delayed_wCVE-2026-31499 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix deadlock in l2cap_conn_del() l2cap_conn_del() calls cancel_delayed_work_sync() for both info_timer and id_addr_timer while holding conn->lock. However, the work functions l2cap_info_timeout() and l2cap_conn_update_id_addr() both acquire conn->lock, creating a potential AB-BA deadlock if the work is already executing when l2cap_conn_del() takes the lock. Move the work cancellations before acquiring conn->lock and use disable_delayed_work_sync() to additionally prevent the works from being rearmed after cancellation, consistent with the pattern used in hci_conn_del().

Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix ERTM re-init and zero pdu_len infinite loop l2cap_config_req() proceCVE-2026-31498 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix ERTM re-init and zero pdu_len infinite loop l2cap_config_req() processes CONFIG_REQ for channels in BT_CONNECTED state to support L2CAP reconfiguration (e.g. MTU changes). However, since both CONF_INPUT_DONE and CONF_OUTPUT_DONE are already set from the initial configuration, the reconfiguration path falls through to l2cap_ertm_init(), which re-initializes tx_q, srej_q, srej_list, and retrans_list without freeing the previous allocations and sets chan->sdu to NULL without freeing the existing skb. This leaks all previously allocated ERTM resources. Additionally, l2cap_parse_conf_req() does not validate the minimum value of remote_mps derived from the RFC max_pdu_size option. A zero value propagates to l2cap_segment_sdu() where pdu_len becomes zero, causing the while loop to never terminate since len is never decremented, exhausting all available memory. Fix the double-init by skipping l2cap_ertm_init() and l2cap_chan_ready() when the channel is already in BT_CONNECTED state, while still allowing the reconfiguration parameters to be updated through l2cap_parse_conf_req(). Also add a pdu_len

Apr 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: clamp SCO altsetting table indices btusb_work() maps the number of activCVE-2026-31497 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: clamp SCO altsetting table indices btusb_work() maps the number of active SCO links to USB alternate settings through a three-entry lookup table when CVSD traffic uses transparent voice settings. The lookup currently indexes alts[] with data->sco_num - 1 without first constraining sco_num to the number of available table entries. While the table only defines alternate settings for up to three SCO links, data->sco_num comes from hci_conn_num() and is used directly. Cap the lookup to the last table entry before indexing it so the driver keeps selecting the highest supported alternate setting without reading past alts[].

Apr 21, 2026Zero Motorcycles firmware versions 44 and prior enable an attacker to forcibly pair a device with the motorcycle via Bluetooth.CVE-2026-1354 · Other software · Zero Motorcycles · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govMedium 5.9
Zero Motorcycles firmware versions 44 and prior enable an attacker to forcibly pair a device with the motorcycle via Bluetooth. Once paired, an attacker can utilize over-the-air firmware updating functionality to potentially upload malicious firmware to the motorcycle. The motorcycle must first be in Bluetooth pairing mode, and the attacker must be in proximity of the vehicle and understand the full pairing process, to be able to pair their device with the vehicle. The attacker's device must remain paired with and in proximity of the motorcycle for the entire duration of the firmware update.

Apr 21, 2026blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers.CVE-2026-40588 · Other software · blueprintue · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers. Prior to 4.2.0, the password change form at /profile/{slug}/edit/ does not include a current_password field and does not verify the user's existing password before accepting a new one. Any attacker who obtains a valid authenticated session — through XSS exploitation, session sidejacking over HTTP, physical access to a logged-in browser, or a stolen "remember me" cookie — can immediately change the account password without knowing the original credential, resulting in permanent account takeover. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.0.

Apr 21, 2026blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers.CVE-2026-40587 · Other software · blueprintue · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers. Prior to 4.2.0, when a user changes their password via the profile edit page, or when a password reset is completed via the reset link, neither operation invalidates existing authenticated sessions for that user. A server-side session store associates userID → session; the current password change/reset flow updates only the password column in the users table and does not destroy or mark invalid any active sessions. As a result, an attacker who has already compromised a session retains full access to the account indefinitely — even after the legitimate user has detected the intrusion and changed their password — until the session's natural expiry time (configured as SESSION_GC_MAXLIFETIME, defaulting to 86400 seconds / 24 hours, with SESSION_LIFETIME=0 meaning persistent until browser close or GC, whichever is later). This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.0.

Apr 21, 2026blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers.CVE-2026-40586 · Other software · blueprintue · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers. Prior to 4.2.0, the login form handler performs no throttling of any kind. Failed authentication attempts are processed at full network speed with no IP-based rate limiting, no per-account attempt counter, no temporary lockout, no progressive delay (Tarpit), and no CAPTCHA challenge. An attacker can submit an unlimited number of credential guesses. The password policy (10+ characters, mixed case, digit, special character) reduces the effective keyspace but does not prevent dictionary attacks, credential stuffing from breached databases, or targeted attacks against known users with predictable passwords. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.0.

Apr 21, 2026blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers.CVE-2026-40585 · Other software · blueprintue · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers. Prior to 4.2.0, when a password reset is initiated, a 128-character CSPRNG token is generated and stored alongside a password_reset_at timestamp. However, the token redemption function findUserIDFromEmailAndToken() queries only for a matching email + password_reset token pair — it does not check whether the password_reset_at timestamp has elapsed any maximum window. A generated reset token is valid indefinitely until it is explicitly consumed or overwritten by a subsequent reset request. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: SCO: Fix use-after-free in sco_recv_frame() due to missing sock_hold sco_recv_frame() reads conn->sk under sco_conn_lock() but immediately releases the lock without holding a reference to the socket. A concurrent close() can free the socket between the lock release and the subsequent sk->sk_state access, resulting in a use-after-free. Other functions in the same file (sco_sock_timeout(), sco_conn_del()) correctly use sco_sock_hold() to safely hold a reference under the lock. Fix by using sco_sock_hold() to take a reference before releasing the lock, and adding sock_put() on all exit paths.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Validate L2CAP_INFO_RSP payload length before access l2cap_information_rsp() checks that cmd_len covers the fixed l2cap_info_rsp header (type + result, 4 bytes) but then reads rsp->data without verifying that the payload is present: - L2CAP_IT_FEAT_MASK calls get_unaligned_le32(rsp->data), which reads 4 bytes past the header (needs cmd_len >= 8). - L2CAP_IT_FIXED_CHAN reads rsp->data[0], 1 byte past the header (needs cmd_len >= 5). A truncated L2CAP_INFO_RSP with result == L2CAP_IR_SUCCESS triggers an out-of-bounds read of adjacent skb data. Guard each data access with the required payload length check. If the payload is too short, skip the read and let the state machine complete with safe defaults (feat_mask and remote_fixed_chan remain zero from kzalloc), so the info timer cleanup and l2cap_conn_start() still run and the connection is not stalled.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix use-after-free in l2cap_unregister_user After commit ab4eedb790ca ("Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix corrupted list in hci_chan_del"), l2cap_conn_del() uses conn->lock to protect access to conn->users. However, l2cap_register_user() and l2cap_unregister_user() don't use conn->lock, creating a race condition where these functions can access conn->users and conn->hchan concurrently with l2cap_conn_del(). This can lead to use-after-free and list corruption bugs, as reported by syzbot. Fix this by changing l2cap_register_user() and l2cap_unregister_user() to use conn->lock instead of hci_dev_lock(), ensuring consistent locking for the l2cap_conn structure.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix accepting multiple L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_REQ Currently the code attempts to accept requests regardless of the command identifier which may cause multiple requests to be marked as pending (FLAG_DEFER_SETUP) which can cause more than L2CAP_ECRED_MAX_CID(5) to be allocated in l2cap_ecred_rsp_defer causing an overflow. The spec is quite clear that the same identifier shall not be used on subsequent requests: 'Within each signaling channel a different Identifier shall be used for each successive request or indication.' https://www.bluetooth.com/wp-content/uploads/Files/Specification/HTML/Core-62/out/en/host/logical-link-control-and-adaptation-protocol-specification.html#UUID-32a25a06-4aa4-c6c7-77c5-dcfe3682355d So this attempts to check if there are any channels pending with the same identifier and rejects if any are found.

Mar 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: purge error queues in socket destructors When TX timestamping is enabled via SOCVE-2026-23299 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: purge error queues in socket destructors When TX timestamping is enabled via SO_TIMESTAMPING, SKBs may be queued into sk_error_queue and will stay there until consumed. If userspace never gets to read the timestamps, or if the controller is removed unexpectedly, these SKBs will leak. Fix by adding skb_queue_purge() calls for sk_error_queue in affected bluetooth destructors. RFCOMM does not currently use sk_error_queue.

Mar 10, 2026Alienbin is an anonymous code and text sharing web service.CVE-2026-31827 · Other software · Blue-B · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Alienbin is an anonymous code and text sharing web service. In 1.0.0 and earlier, the /save endpoint in server.js drops and recreates the MongoDB TTL index on the entire post collection for every new paste submission. When User B submits a paste with a short TTL (e.g., 30 seconds), the TTL index is recreated with expireAfterSeconds: 30 for all documents in the collection. This causes User A's paste (originally set to 7 days) to be deleted after 30 seconds. An attacker can intentionally delete all existing pastes by repeatedly submitting pastes with ttlOption=30s.

Feb 21, 2026BigBlueButton is an open-source virtual classroom.CVE-2026-27466 · Other software · bigbluebutton · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
BigBlueButton is an open-source virtual classroom. In versions 3.0.21 and below, the official documentation for "Server Customization" on Support for ClamAV as presentation file scanner contains instructions that leave a BBB server vulnerable for Denial of Service. The flawed command exposes both ports (3310 and 7357) to the internet. A remote attacker can use this to send complex or large documents to clamd and waste server resources, or shutdown the clamd process. The clamd documentation explicitly warns about exposing this port. Enabling ufw (ubuntu firewall) during install does not help, because Docker routes container traffic through the nat table, which is not managed or restricted by ufw. Rules installed by ufw in the filter table have no effect on docker traffic. In addition, the provided example also mounts /var/bigbluebutton with write permissions into the container, which should not be required. Future vulnerabilities in clamd may allow attackers to manipulate files in that folder. Users are unaffected unless they have opted in to follow the extra instructions from BigBlueButton's documentation. This issue has been fixed in version 3.0.22.
