  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (ltc4282) Make sure clk_init_data is fully initialized The clk_init_data structure CVE-2026-98001 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (ltc4282) Make sure clk_init_data is fully initialized The clk_init_data structure contains several mutually-exclusive members for different methods to specify the possible parents of a clock, prompting drivers to initialize only the members they need. However, not initializing all members may cause subtle issues, which are only exposed when CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL_PATTERN or CONFIG_INIT_STACK_NONE is enabled. ltc428_clk_provider_setup() does not fill in any parent clocks, and assumes that init.num_parents is NULL. However, the latter in uninitialized, and thus may cause a crash. Make sure all members are fully initialized, to fix such bugs, and to avoid future breakage when converting drivers to a different method for specifying the parents.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ppp_synctty: ensure a writeable skb header ppp_sync_txmunge() checks headroom before prepending the address and control bytes, but does not ensure that the skb header is writable. A received skb can reach this function through PPP channel bridging without passing through ppp_start_xmit(), which calls skb_cow_head(). For example, a PPPoE frame may share its buffer with a clone queued to an AF_PACKET socket. If it is bridged to a synchronous tty channel, the address/control bytes can overwrite data still visible to that socket. Use skb_cow_head() to ensure both sufficient headroom and a writable header.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel: ethosu: Ensure cmd stream ends with a stop op While the QSIZE register setting should prevent an out of bounds access of the command stream, it is not clear whether the h/w generates an interrupt in this case as is required (to prevent a timeout). As a stop op is expected end of the command stream, let's just ensure it is present. A stop op in the middle of the command stream also makes no sense.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel: ethosu: Ensure SRAM size is 0 on mapping failure On a mapping failure of the SRAM, CVE-2026-97912 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel: ethosu: Ensure SRAM size is 0 on mapping failure On a mapping failure of the SRAM, the SRAM size is left as non-zero. The probe will succeed as the error return is not checked since having SRAM is not a hard requirement. The non-zero size allows jobs to access SRAM which is left pointing to physical base address 0x0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel: ethosu: Ensure SRAM region size matches job It is possible for userspace to set the job SRAM size to 0, but then still have SRAM accesses in the command stream. When the job SRAM size is 0, setting the region base register is skipped and a stale base address from a prior job is used. Check the region size against the job's SRAM size instead of just the size of the SRAM. The job's SRAM size was already checked against the total SRAM size.

  • Sep 25, 2026Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery: Unauthorized disclosure of private gallery contentsCVE-2026-89406 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Modula Image Gallery – Photo Grid & Video Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized disclosure of private gallery contents in versions up to, and including, 3.0.1. This is due to the Modula_Meta::add_metas() function being hooked to wp_head on every frontend request and looking up any post via get_post( $_GET['modula_gallery_id'] ) without verifying the gallery's post_status or the requester's capability to read it — the gallery-side input guard is bugged (empty('modula_gallery_id') tests a nonempty string literal instead of the GET parameter, so it is always false), the only object validation is a post_type === 'modula-gallery' check, and no is_user_logged_in()/current_user_can('read_post', $gallery_id) check is performed. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate private modula-gallery posts and their member attachments and recover the image's title, description, dimensions, and original upload URL via Open Graph/Twitter meta tags emitted in the response, which then allows direct unauthenticated download of the original private image bytes.

  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix OOB memory exposure in get_wave_state() The get_wave_state() function for CVE-2026-97496 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix OOB memory exposure in get_wave_state() The get_wave_state() function for v9 trusts cp_hqd_cntl_stack_size and cp_hqd_cntl_stack_offset values read directly from the MQD, which are written by GPU microcode and fully attacker-controlled on the CRIU-restore path (via AMDKFD_IOC_RESTORE_PROCESS with H3). this leads to an unbounded copy_to_user() that can leak adjacent GTT/kernel memory. If offset > size, integer underflow produces a ~4 GiB read length, if size is set to 1 MiB against a 4 KiB allocation, we leak 1 MiB of adjacent kernel memory (other queues' MQDs, ring buffers, KASLR pointers). Fix by clamping both cp_hqd_cntl_stack_size to the actual allocated buffer size (q->ctl_stack_size) and cp_hqd_cntl_stack_offset to the clamped size before performing arithmetic and copy_to_user(). This ensures we never read beyond the allocated kernel BO regardless of attacker-supplied MQD field values.

The Bread plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to information exposure in versions up to and including 2.9.12. This is due to the lack of authentication and authorization checks on the settings export functionality (download_settings function) which is registered on the plugins_loaded hook and explicitly allows execution on non-admin (public) pages. The function exports all plugin configuration settings including the protection_password field, which is stored in plaintext. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the PDF protection password by accessing the /?export-meeting-list=1 endpoint.

The Better Messages – Chat Rooms, Group Chat, Private Messages & AI Chat Bots plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure by Spoofing in all versions up to, and including, 2.15.33. This is due to the `is_ai_bot_user()` function identifying privileged internal AI bot accounts by performing a prefix check for `'ai-chat-bot-'` against a guest record's stored IP address, which is populated verbatim from the client-controlled `X-Real-IP` request header during unauthenticated guest registration. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a guest identity that the plugin treats as its own internal AI bot, bypassing the per-room role allowlist, draft-status check, and join filters — which are all short-circuited by the bot check in `user_can_join()` and `user_can_read()` — to join administrator-restricted chat rooms, post messages into them, and read the private message history of other users.

  • Sep 18, 2026Divi Essential: Sensitive information exposureCVE-2026-15760 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Divi Essential plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to sensitive information exposure in versions up to, and including, 5.8.1 via the dnxte_get_database_tables and dnxte_get_database_data AJAX actions. The handlers only conditionally verify a nonce (the check runs solely when the 'nonce' POST parameter is present and can be trivially bypassed by omitting the parameter) and never call current_user_can() or otherwise enforce a capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enumerate every table in the WordPress database and read up to a caller-controlled number of rows from any table — including wp_users (usernames, emails, hashed passwords), wp_usermeta (session tokens, secret keys), and wp_options (privileged settings, API keys, credentials stored by other plugins).

The GPTranslate – Multilingual AI Translation Agent for WordPress: Translate Your Site with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.6 via the enqueue_frontend_scripts. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the plaintext third-party AI provider API key (OpenAI, DeepL, xAI/Grok, Gemini, Claude, or Google Cloud Translation) — a credential granting billed account access — by fetching any public page and applying the inverse transformation bundled in the plugin's own public JavaScript asset. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: visconti: Make sure clk_init_data is fully initialized The clk_init_data structure contains several mutually-exclusive members for different methods to specify the possible parents of a clock, prompting drivers to initialize only the members they need. However, not initializing all members may cause subtle issues, which are only exposed when CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL_PATTERN or CONFIG_INIT_STACK_NONE is enabled. visconti_clk_register_gate() fills in init.parent_data, and assumes that init.parent_names is NULL. However, the latter in uninitialized, and thus may cause a crash. Make sure all members are fully initialized, to fix such bugs, and to avoid future breakage when converting drivers to a different method for specifying the parents.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio-net: Ensure that TCP packets don't overflow gso_segs The user can specify any gso_size in a packet crafted with an AF_PACKET PACKET_VNET_HDR socket, even smaller than TCP_MIN_GSO_SIZE = 8. At the same time, GSO_MAX_SIZE = 8 * GSO_MAX_SEGS = 8 * 65535. When the user crafts a packet with gso_size < 8, there is a risk for partial GSO to overflow the 16-bit gso_segs field when dividing the SKB length by gso_size. Adjust gso_size of TCP packets to be at least TCP_MIN_GSO_SIZE = 8. Keep gso_size of UDP GSO packets, as gso_size=1 is valid and explicitly tested at tools/testing/selftests/net/tun.c:649.

Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows disclosure of user password digests to readers of the audit store. The audit_log add-on builds each entry's extra_data in AshAuthentication.AddOn.AuditLog.Auditor.build_extra_data/4, which takes :actor from the action callback context verbatim. Any audited action invoked with actor: set to a user record therefore deposits that record, including its hashed_password attribute, into the audit entry. The same module already collapses the audited identity to an opaque string via AshAuthentication.user_to_subject/1 and filters params against the strategy's configured allow-list, so the actor is the only stored value that reaches the audit store unfiltered. Marking the attribute sensitive?: true does not help, because that redacts inspect/1 output rather than JSON encoding or raw-term storage. There is no attacker-controlled trigger and no network disclosure path: entries accumulate from ordinary authenticated activity, and an attacker's own requests deposit only their own digest. Exploitation requires independent read access to the audit store, such as database credentials, an audit
