  • Sep 8, 2026Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 registered view assets for every sub-block of a Stack, Container, or layout area without checking whether the requesting user could vieCVE-2026-81904 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deMedium 6.3

Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 registered view assets for every sub-block of a Stack, Container, or layout area without checking whether the requesting user could view that sub-block. An unauthenticated visitor could recover configuration values emitted by a restricted sub-block's asset registration — such as a site's configured Google Maps API key — from any public page embedding an affected Stack, Container, or layout area, despite the block-level permission restriction. Any sub-block type whose asset or header hooks output configuration values is affected.  The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v.4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Yonatan Drori (Tenzai) for reporting.

  • Sep 7, 2026Improper Authentication vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows an unauthenticated attacker to register OAuth clients even when DynCVE-2026-82758 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Improper Authentication vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows an unauthenticated attacker to register OAuth clients even when Dynamic Client Registration is gated by an initial access token. resolve_secret/3 in AshAuthentication.Oauth2Server (reached through __resolve_secret__!) treated any return other than {:ok, _} or :error from a configured {module, function, args} or 2-arity-function secret provider as a valid secret, wrapping nil, false, or "" as {:ok, value}. When the initial_access_token resolves to such an empty value, POST /oauth/register compares the presented bearer token against it and the comparison passes with no token supplied, so registration is open although it was configured closed. The same fail-open affected other resolved secrets such as signing_secret. This issue affects ash_authentication_oauth2_server: from 0.1.0 before 0.3.1.

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: nintendo: register input device after capabilities are set input_register_device() exCVE-2026-80771 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: nintendo: register input device after capabilities are set input_register_device() exposes the device to userspace immediately. In joycon_input_create() it was called before joycon_config_rumble() configures the FF_RUMBLE capability and the memless force-feedback device, so a concurrent EVIOCSFF could dereference a NULL dev->ff. Registering early also means the initial udev event lacks button and axis information, which can make input managers ignore the device. Move input_register_device() to the end of joycon_input_create(), after all capabilities, the IMU input device and the force-feedback callbacks have been configured.

Xinference (affected commit 4a94832, v3.x) contains an unauthenticated arbitrary-path file read vulnerability in the POST /v1/models/llm/auto-register endpoint, which accepts a caller-supplied model_path parameter without authentication or path confinement. • Aug 29, 2026Custom User Registration Fields for WooCommerce: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-15369 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Custom User Registration Fields for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 2.2.3. This is due to the plugin accepting an attacker-controlled afreg_select_user_role value from the unauthenticated WooCommerce Store API /wc/store/v1/checkout request in the af_reg_checkout_data_to_order_meta_data_block() function, persisting it in order meta, and then passing it directly to WP_User::add_role() in the af_reg_custom_order_processing_function() function (hooked to woocommerce_thankyou) without validating against the plugin's admin-configured allowed role list. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to Administrator by creating an account during checkout with a modified JSON body specifying administrator (or any other role slug) as the desired role. Note: The exploit requires the "User Role Selection" setting to be enabled.

IGEL OS 12 before 12.7.6 and IGEL OS 11 before 11.11.150 contain a boot registry parameter injection vulnerability that allows attackers with physical access to execute arbitrary Linux loader parameters by writing to an unencrypted and unsigned configuration area read by the signed bootloader. Attackers can inject malicious kernel command line parameters that execute with boot environment privileges without triggering TPM PCR measurement failures, as the attack does not modify the measured boot code.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: idpf: bound interrupt-vector register fill to the allocated array idpf_get_reg_intr_vecs() fills the caller-allocated reg_vals[] array from the VIRTCHNL2_OP_ALLOC_VECTORS reply in adapter->req_vec_chunks, bounding its inner loop only by the per-chunk num_vectors. The array is sized separately: idpf_intr_reg_init() allocates kzalloc_objs(struct idpf_vec_regs, total_vecs) from caps.num_allocated_vectors and only checks the returned count after the fill. The sum of per-chunk num_vectors is never reconciled against total_vecs, so a reply with a small num_allocated_vectors but chunks summing higher writes past the end of reg_vals[]. Impact: a control plane (a PF or hypervisor device model) that returns a VIRTCHNL2_OP_ALLOC_VECTORS reply whose per-chunk num_vectors sum exceeds num_allocated_vectors writes struct idpf_vec_regs entries past the end of the reg_vals kmalloc allocation (KASAN slab-out-of-bounds write). Bound the fill loop to the array capacity passed in by the callers, mirroring the sibling idpf_vport_get_q_reg(). The existing num_regs < num_vecs check then rejects an undersized reply without the out-of-b

  • Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: amd-mp2: Unregister callback on adapter add failure amd_mp2_register_cb() stores the CVE-2026-80680 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: amd-mp2: Unregister callback on adapter add failure amd_mp2_register_cb() stores the platform I2C context in the MP2 PCI driver's callback table before the adapter is registered. If i2c_add_adapter() fails, probe returns and devres frees the context, but the PCI driver can still dereference the stale pointer from its IRQ and system-sleep callbacks. Unregister the callback before returning the adapter registration error.

  • Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: imx: Fix slave registration race and error handling In i2c_imx_reg_slave(), the slaveCVE-2026-80678 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.4

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: imx: Fix slave registration race and error handling In i2c_imx_reg_slave(), the slave pointer was assigned before pm_runtime_resume_and_get(). If pm_runtime_resume_and_get() failed, the error path returned without clearing i2c_imx->slave, leaving it non-NULL and causing all subsequent registration attempts to fail with -EBUSY. Additionally, because this driver uses a shared IRQ, the interrupt handler i2c_imx_isr() can execute concurrently and, after acquiring slave_lock, dereference i2c_imx->slave. The previous fix attempt added a lockless i2c_imx->slave = NULL on the error path, but that could race with the ISR under the lock and still cause a NULL pointer dereference. Fix both issues by deferring the assignment of i2c_imx->slave and i2c_imx->last_slave_event to after a successful resume, and by performing the assignment inside the slave_lock critical section. This guarantees that the slave pointer is never left stale on the error path and is always valid when observed by the interrupt handler.

  • Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf sched: Fix register_pid() overflow, strcpy, and BUG_ON register_pid() has several issCVE-2026-80671 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.3

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf sched: Fix register_pid() overflow, strcpy, and BUG_ON register_pid() has several issues when processing untrusted perf.data: 1. Integer overflow: (pid + 1) * sizeof(struct task_desc *) can wrap to a small value on 32-bit systems when pid is large (e.g. 0x40000000), causing realloc to return a tiny buffer followed by out-of-bounds writes in the initialization loop. 2. Heap buffer overflow: strcpy(task->comm, comm) copies the untrusted comm string into a fixed 20-byte COMM_LEN buffer with no length check. 3. BUG_ON on allocation failure: perf.data is untrusted input, so allocation failures should be handled gracefully rather than killing the process. 4. Realloc of sched->tasks assigned directly back, leaking the old pointer on failure; nr_tasks incremented before the realloc, leaving corrupted state on failure. Cap pid at PID_MAX_LIMIT (4194304, matching the kernel's maximum on 64-bit), replace strcpy with strlcpy, guard against NULL comm, replace BUG_ON with NULL returns using safe realloc patterns, and add NULL checks in callers that dereference the result.

  • Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (occ) unregister sysfs devices outside occ lock occ_active(false) and occ_shutdown(CVE-2026-80660 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (occ) unregister sysfs devices outside occ lock occ_active(false) and occ_shutdown() unregister sysfs-backed devices while occ->lock is held. hwmon_device_unregister() and sysfs_remove_group() can wait for active sysfs callbacks to drain, and those callbacks can enter the OCC update path and try to take occ->lock again. That gives the unregister paths the lock ordering occ->lock -> sysfs callback drain, while a callback has the opposite edge sysfs callback -> occ->lock. This issue was found by our static analysis tool and then manually reviewed against the current tree. The grounded PoC kept the real unregister and callback carrier: occ_shutdown() hwmon_device_unregister() occ_show_temp_1() occ_update_response() Lockdep reported the circular dependency with occ_shutdown() already holding the OCC mutex and hwmon_device_unregister() waiting on the sysfs side: WARNING: possible circular locking dependency detected ... • Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: xilinx: Fix race condition in event registration The zynqmp_power driver registers haCVE-2026-80655 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: xilinx: Fix race condition in event registration The zynqmp_power driver registers handlers for suspend and subsystem restart events using register_event(). However, the work structures (zynqmp_pm_init_suspend_work and zynqmp_pm_init_restart_work) used by these handlers were allocated and initialized after the registration call. This created a race window where, if the firmware triggered an event immediately after registration but before allocation, the callback (suspend_event_callback or subsystem_restart_event_callback) would dereference a NULL pointer in work_pending(), leading to a crash. Fix this by allocating and initializing the work structures before registering the events.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: coresight: ete: Always save state on power down System register ETMs and ETE are unlikely to be preserved on CPU power down. The ETE DT binding also never documented "arm,coresight-loses-context-with-cpu" so nobody would have legitimately been able to use that binding to fix it and ACPI has no such binding at all. Fix it by hard coding the setting for sysreg ETMs (ETE is always sysreg) or ACPI boots. Use a local variable when setting up save_state so that it's immune to concurrent probing when devices have different configurations which is an issue with modifying the global. This fixes the following error when using Coresight with ACPI on the FVP which supports CPU PM: coresight ete0: External agent took claim tag WARNING: drivers/hwtracing/coresight/coresight-core.c:248 at coresight_disclaim_device_unlocked+0xe0/0xe8, CPU#0: perf/117

  • Aug 27, 2026The OpenFaaS gateway registers GET /system/telemetry in gateway/main.go and, when basic_auth is enabled, wraps each administrative /system/* handler in auth.DecCVE-2026-81664 · Other software · openfaas · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

The OpenFaaS gateway registers GET /system/telemetry in gateway/main.go and, when basic_auth is enabled, wraps each administrative /system/* handler in auth.DecorateWithBasicAuth. TelemetryHandler was left out of that wrap block from 0.27.11, which introduced the route, until 0.27.14, which added it. On an affected gateway the route therefore reaches the forwarding proxy with no credential check and returns whatever the configured provider serves for /system/telemetry, so any client that can reach the gateway port can read the provider's telemetry regardless of the basic_auth setting. The exposed content depends on the provider, and covers resource and invocation metrics for faasd and pod or cluster state for faas-netes.
