Apr 19, 2025Debug Log Manager: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2025-3809 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Debug Log Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the auto-refresh debug log in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE-2025-32613 is a duplicate of this CVE.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla1280: Fix kernel oops when debug level > 2 A null dereference or oops exception will eventually occur when qla1280.c driver is compiled with DEBUG_QLA1280 enabled and ql_debug_level > 2. I think its clear from the code that the intention here is sg_dma_len(s) not length of sg_next(s) when printing the debug info.

Apr 1, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: cleanup mana struct after debugfs_remove() When on a MANA VM hibernation is triCVE-2025-21953 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: cleanup mana struct after debugfs_remove() When on a MANA VM hibernation is triggered, as part of hibernate_snapshot(), mana_gd_suspend() and mana_gd_resume() are called. If during this mana_gd_resume(), a failure occurs with HWC creation, mana_port_debugfs pointer does not get reinitialized and ends up pointing to older, cleaned-up dentry. Further in the hibernation path, as part of power_down(), mana_gd_shutdown() is triggered. This call, unaware of the failures in resume, tries to cleanup the already cleaned up mana_port_debugfs value and hits the following bug: [ 191.359296] mana 7870:00:00.0: Shutdown was called [ 191.359918] BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000098 [ 191.360584] #PF: supervisor write access in kernel mode [ 191.361125] #PF: error_code(0x0002) - not-present page [ 191.361727] PGD 1080ea067 P4D 0 [ 191.362172] Oops: Oops: 0002 [#1] SMP NOPTI [ 191.362606] CPU: 11 UID: 0 PID: 1674 Comm: bash Not tainted 6.14.0-rc5+ #2 [ 191.363292] Hardware name: Microsoft Corporation Virtual Machine/Virtual Machine, BIOS Hyper-V UEFI Release v4.1 11/21/2024 [ 191.3

Mar 27, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: Fix request ref counting during error capture & debugfs dump When GuC support waCVE-2023-52981 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: Fix request ref counting during error capture & debugfs dump When GuC support was added to error capture, the reference counting around the request object was broken. Fix it up. The context based search manages the spinlocking around the search internally. So it needs to grab the reference count internally as well. The execlist only request based search relies on external locking, so it needs an external reference count but within the spinlock not outside it. The only other caller of the context based search is the code for dumping engine state to debugfs. That code wasn't previously getting an explicit reference at all as it does everything while holding the execlist specific spinlock. So, that needs updaing as well as that spinlock doesn't help when using GuC submission. Rather than trying to conditionally get/put depending on submission model, just change it to always do the get/put. v2: Explicitly document adding an extra blank line in some dense code (Andy Shevchenko). Fix multiple potential null pointer derefs in case of no request found (some spotted by Tvrtko, but there was more!). Also fix a

Mar 27, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: always report error in run_one_delayed_ref() Currently we have a btrfs_debug() for CVE-2022-49761 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: always report error in run_one_delayed_ref() Currently we have a btrfs_debug() for run_one_delayed_ref() failure, but if end users hit such problem, there will be no chance that btrfs_debug() is enabled. This can lead to very little useful info for debugging. This patch will: - Add extra info for error reporting Including: * logical bytenr * num_bytes * type * action * ref_mod - Replace the btrfs_debug() with btrfs_err() - Move the error reporting into run_one_delayed_ref() This is to avoid use-after-free, the @node can be freed in the caller. This error should only be triggered at most once. As if run_one_delayed_ref() failed, we trigger the error message, then causing the call chain to error out: btrfs_run_delayed_refs() `- btrfs_run_delayed_refs() `- btrfs_run_delayed_refs_for_head() `- run_one_delayed_ref() And we will abort the current transaction in btrfs_run_delayed_refs(). If we have to run delayed refs for the abort transaction, run_one_delayed_ref() will just cleanup the refs and do nothing, thus no new error messages would be output.

A vulnerability in the debug shell of Cisco Video Phone 8875 and Cisco Desk Phone 9800 Series could allow an authenticated, local attacker to access sensitive information on an affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials with SSH access on the affected device. SSH access is disabled by default. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the debug shell of an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted SSH client command to the CLI. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access sensitive information on the underlying operating system.

Jan 24, 2025In some circumstances, debug artifacts uploaded by the CodeQL Action after a failed code scanning workflow run may contain the environment variables from the woCVE-2025-24362 · Other software · github · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
In some circumstances, debug artifacts uploaded by the CodeQL Action after a failed code scanning workflow run may contain the environment variables from the workflow run, including any secrets that were exposed as environment variables to the workflow. Users with read access to the repository would be able to access this artifact, containing any secrets from the environment. This vulnerability is patched in CodeQL Action version 3.28.3 or later, or CodeQL CLI version 2.20.3 or later. For some affected workflow runs, the exposed environment variables in the debug artifacts included a valid `GITHUB_TOKEN` for the workflow run, which has access to the repository in which the workflow ran, and all the permissions specified in the workflow or job. The `GITHUB_TOKEN` is valid until the job completes or 24 hours has elapsed, whichever comes first. Environment variables are exposed only from workflow runs that satisfy all of the following conditions: - Code scanning workflow configured to scan the Java/Kotlin languages. - Running in a repository containing Kotlin source code. - Running with debug artifacts enabled. - Using CodeQL Action versions <= 3.28.2, and CodeQL CLI versions >= 2.9

Apache NiFi 1.16.0 through 1.28.0 and 2.0.0-M1 through 2.0.0-M4 include optional debug logging of Parameter Context values during the flow synchronization process. An authorized administrator with access to change logging levels could enable debug logging for framework flow synchronization, causing the application to write Parameter names and values to the application log. Parameter Context values may contain sensitive information depending on application flow configuration. Deployments of Apache NiFi with the default Logback configuration do not log Parameter Context values. Upgrading to Apache NiFi 2.0.0 or 1.28.1 is the recommendation mitigation, eliminating Parameter value logging from the flow synchronization process regardless of the Logback configuration.
