Jun 1, 2026Simple Custom Login Page: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-10100 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.4
The Simple Custom Login Page plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the color settings fields (Page Background, Form Background, Text Color, Link Color) in versions up to and including 1.0.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization of the color option values (they were registered with register_setting() and stored via the Settings API/update_option() with no sanitize_callback) combined with the values being output into a <style> block on wp-login.php using esc_attr(), which is incorrect for a CSS context (it does not escape ;, {, }, / or *). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary CSS rules into the login page that are rendered for all unauthenticated visitors, enabling UI-redress and credential-phishing attacks.

May 28, 2026Advanced Custom Fields: Extended: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-8809 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Validation Bypass in all versions up to and including 0.9.2.5. The vulnerability exists due to the after_validate_save_post() function unconditionally trusting the attacker-controlled _acf_post_id POST parameter — with no authentication or integrity verification — to select a cleanup branch that silently discards all validation errors not prefixed with acfe:. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to suppress both the role allow-list validation error added by acfe_field_user_roles::validate_front_value() and the administrator-role capability guard error added by acfe_module_form_action_user::validate_action(), causing wp_insert_user() to execute with an attacker-supplied administrator role argument and resulting in the creation of a new administrator-level user account. Exploitation requires the target site to expose a public ACFE frontend form configured with a Create User action that maps a role field.

- What to do
- Affects up to 0.9.2.5. Update Advanced Custom Fields: Extended to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.

May 27, 2026WPCode - Insert Headers and Footers + Custom Code Snippets - WordPress Code Manager: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-8832 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The WPCode - Insert Headers and Footers + Custom Code Snippets - WordPress Code Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in versions up to, and including, 2.3.5 This is due to the 'wpcode' custom post type being registered without a custom capability_type or capability restrictions in the wpcode_register_post_type() function, allowing WordPress core to fall back to standard post capabilities for all creation paths including XML-RPC. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to create and publish executable PHP snippet posts via XML-RPC wp.newPost, which are then executed server-side via eval() in the run_eval() function when the snippet is rendered through the [wpcode] shortcode.

May 13, 2026Custom Twitter Feeds: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-6177 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Custom Twitter Feeds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.5.4. When an attacker can get malicious content into cached tweet data (either by tweeting content that gets cached by the site's feed configuration, or through other vulnerabilities), the malicious HTML/JavaScript is executed when the unauthenticated endpoint is accessed. Successful exploitation requires a publicly accessible form with a File Upload field where Save and Continue is enabled in that form's Behavior settings and the Save and Continue email notification is configured to attach uploaded files in Email Notifications.

May 2, 2026Import and export users and customers: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-7641 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Import and export users and customers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to and including 2.0.8 via the `save_extra_user_profile_fields()` function. This is due to an incomplete blocklist that correctly restricts capability meta keys for the primary site (e.g., `wp_capabilities`, `wp_user_level`) but fails to block the equivalent meta keys for any other subsite in a WordPress Multisite network (e.g., `wp_2_capabilities`, `wp_2_user_level`), allowing these keys to pass the `in_array()` check and be written directly to user meta via `update_user_meta()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to escalate their privileges to Administrator on any subsite within the Multisite network by submitting a crafted profile update to `/wp-admin/profile.php`. Exploitation requires that an administrator has previously imported a CSV file containing multisite-prefixed capability column headers and has enabled the 'Show fields in profile?' option, which causes those keys to be stored in the `acui_columns` option and exposed as editable fields on the user profile page.

The WP Customer Area plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file read and deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the 'ajax_attach_file' function in all versions up to, and including, 8.3.4. Apr 16, 2026Riaxe Product Customizer: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-3599 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

Apr 16, 2026Riaxe Product Customizer: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-3596 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Riaxe Product Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.2. The plugin registers an unauthenticated AJAX action ('wp_ajax_nopriv_install-imprint') that maps to the ink_pd_add_option() function. This function reads 'option' and 'opt_value' from $_POST, then calls delete_option() followed by add_option() using these attacker-controlled values without any nonce verification, capability checks, or option name allowlist. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update arbitrary WordPress options, which can be leveraged for privilege escalation by enabling user registration and setting the default user role to administrator.

Apr 16, 2026Riaxe Product Customizer: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-3595 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Riaxe Product Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.2. This is due to the plugin registering a REST API route at POST /wp-json/InkXEProductDesignerLite/customer/delete_customer without a permission_callback, causing WordPress to default to allowing unauthenticated access, and the inkxe_delete_customer() callback function taking an array of user IDs from the request body and passing each one directly to wp_delete_user() without any authentication or authorization checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary WordPress user accounts, including administrator accounts, leading to complete site lockout and data loss.

Apr 16, 2026Custom New User Notification: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-3551 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.4
The Custom New User Notification plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's admin settings in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on multiple settings fields including 'User Mail Subject', 'User From Name', 'User From Email', 'Admin Mail Subject', 'Admin From Name', and 'Admin From Email'. The settings are registered via register_setting() without sanitize callbacks, and the values retrieved via get_option() are echoed directly into HTML input value attributes without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in the plugin settings page that will execute whenever a user accesses that page. This could be used in multi-site installations where administrators of subsites could target super administrators.
