Kyverno 1.16.0 through 1.19.0 registers the globalcontext.Lib CEL library in its policy environment without confining it to the policy's namespace, unlike the sibling libraries (resource.Lib, http.Lib, configMap loader) which are handed the policy namespace. A tenant who can create a namespaced policy (e.g. NamespacedValidatingPolicy, and likewise the namespaced mutating, deleting, generating, and image-validating policy kinds) in their own namespace can call globalContext.get("<entry>", "") and receive the full cached contents of a cluster-scoped GlobalContextEntry, including data cached from namespaces the tenant has no RBAC permission to read. No admission validation rejects such calls. Fixed in 1.19.1.

Sep 26, 2026The Comments plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-comments) for Grav CMS through version 1.2.10 registers an admin handler that returns comment data as JSON without any CVE-2026-100672 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
The Comments plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-comments) for Grav CMS through version 1.2.10 registers an admin handler that returns comment data as JSON without any authentication check. The handler branches on isAdmin(), which only indicates that the admin service is registered on the current route rather than that the visitor is authenticated, and it echoes the JSON and calls exit() during the plugins stage, before the classic Admin plugin would render its login screen. On a site using the classic Admin plugin with Comments enabled (the default), an unauthenticated remote attacker can request /admin/comments/page:<n> (e.g. page:0.001) and retrieve every comment from the last 7 days, including each commenter's email address and the absolute server filesystem path of the data file. Sites running the Grav 2.0 Admin Next stack (admin2 + api) are not affected via this path. The issue is fixed in 1.2.11, which requires an authenticated user with admin.comments or admin.super and removes the absolute filePath from the response.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 incorrectly trusts requester provenance in message.action.CVE-2026-100579 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.7.1 incorrectly trusts requester provenance in message.action. In identity-bearing Gateway deployments (authentication modes that honor caller identity and narrower operator scopes), a write-scoped caller can supply another sender's identifier to the channel authorization checks and invoke a channel action under that spoofed requester identity, reaching operations the channel adapter would have denied to the real caller. Practical impact depends on the enabled channel, the action, and the target account's permissions. Shared-secret token and password callers are full trusted operators under OpenClaw's security model and are out of scope. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1; as a workaround, restrict message.action to administrators and disable sensitive channel actions that rely on requester identity.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to apply the originating requester's effective tool policy during Active Memory automatic recall.CVE-2026-100537 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.3
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to apply the originating requester's effective tool policy during Active Memory automatic recall. In deployments that use Active Memory together with requester-specific tool rules, deterministic and hidden recall paths can retrieve durable memory and inject it into the agent's context even when toolsBySender explicitly denies that requester access to the memory tools (memory_search, memory_get). As a result, an admitted but denied sender can receive information derived from durable memory in the agent's response without directly invoking any memory tool. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.4.5 and < 2026.8.1 can lose the originating requester's restrictions and untrusted provenance when session-derived text is persisted to session memory. In deployments where session-memory capture and dreaming are enabled, a restricted external sender whose messages are admitted with limited tools can persist instructions that are later supplied to an unattended background (dreaming) agent holding broader file and command capabilities, allowing actions beyond the authority of the original turn and affecting files, commands, or services available to that agent. Exploitation requires the content to be captured, selected for later processing, and followed by the model. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: only count successfully cleared runs when freeing clusters ntfs_cluster_free_from_rlCVE-2026-98139 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: only count successfully cleared runs when freeing clusters ntfs_cluster_free_from_rl_nolock() adds a run's length to nr_freed whenever the error bookkeeping condition is false, which includes cases where ntfs_bitmap_clear_run() actually failed - e.g. a second run failing with the same errno as an earlier one, or any failure after a non-ENOMEM error was already recorded. Since a failed ntfs_bitmap_clear_run() rolls back its partial modifications, no bits were cleared for that run, yet its length still inflates vol->free_clusters, corrupting statfs output and the allocator's free space gate. Only count runs whose bitmap clear succeeded.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: reject invalid sectors_per_cluster in the boot sector is_boot_sector_ntfs() checks the boot sector's sectors_per_cluster field with a range test that rejects 0x81..0xf3 but accepts 0 and other non-power-of-two counts. A zero value reaches parse_ntfs_boot_sector(): sectors_per_cluster_bits = ffs(sectors_per_cluster) - 1; ... vol->cluster_size = vol->sector_size << sectors_per_cluster_bits; ffs(0) is 0, so sectors_per_cluster_bits becomes (unsigned)-1 and the shift is undefined: UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in fs/ntfs/super.c:673:39 shift exponent 4294967295 is too large for 32-bit type 'int' This change rejects any non-power-of-two value, since it feeds the aforementioned shift via ffs() - 1, which only yields the correct shift for a power of two.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: check_cond_jmp_op(): properly infer if register is null Nicholas Carlini reported a bCVE-2026-98134 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: check_cond_jmp_op(): properly infer if register is null Nicholas Carlini reported a bug when verifier can incorrectly infer that a pointer is non-null. The bug occurs when two pointers are compared and one of them has a type w/o PTR_MAYBE_NULL flag, but which allows a value to be NULL at runtime. Here is an example: // `a` is PTR_TO_MEM | MEM_RDONLY | PTR_UNTRUSTED // `a` is 0 at runtime. // `b` is PTR_TO_MAP_VALUE | PTR_MAYBE_NULL void *a = bpf_rdonly_cast(0, 0); int *b = bpf_map_lookup_elem(...); if (a == b) *b = 42; // verifier does not catch null pointer dereference This happens because of a special case in check_cond_jmp_op(), which attempts to strip PTR_MAYBE_NULL flags from pointer types, when processing comparisons like `rA == rB`, if either rA or rB can't be null. The non-null property is derived based on the absence of PTR_MAYBE_NULL flag on rA's or rB's type. But that is not sufficient for types like PTR_TO_MEM, as in the example. This patch replaces type_may_be_null() call with reg_not_null(), which contains an allowlist of types for which absence of PTR_MAYBE_NULL actually

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Fix race condition during device registration In hci_register_dev(), CVE-2026-98109 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 4.7
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Fix race condition during device registration In hci_register_dev(), the power_on work item is queued to hdev->req_workqueue before initializing hdev->adv_monitors_idr and registering the MSFT extension via msft_register(). For devices marked with quirks such as HCI_QUIRK_RAW_DEVICE, the HCI_UNCONFIGURED flag is set on the device. When the power_on work item runs concurrently on another CPU, hci_power_on() detects that the device is unconfigured and immediately invokes hci_dev_do_close(), which calls msft_do_close(). Concurrently, msft_register() allocates the msft structure and exposes it to hdev->msft_data prior to calling mutex_init(&msft->filter_lock). If msft_do_close() executes while hdev->msft_data is already assigned but the mutex has not yet been initialized, mutex_lock(&msft->filter_lock) operates on an uninitialized mutex, triggering a DEBUG_LOCKS warning: DEBUG_LOCKS_WARN_ON(lock->magic != lock) WARNING: kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 at __mutex_lock_common kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 [inline] WARNING: kernel/locking/mutex.c:625 at __mutex_lock+0x12d8/0x1550 kernel/locking/mutex.c:82

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Mark the zero register precise for a register-form NULL check check_cond_jmp_op() accCVE-2026-98040 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Mark the zero register precise for a register-form NULL check check_cond_jmp_op() accepts "if rA <op> rB" as a NULL check for a nullable pointer rA when rB is a scalar known to be zero, lifts PTR_MAYBE_NULL from rA in the corresponding branch and does not mark rB precise. Consider the following program: r0 = bpf_get_prandom_u32(); r6 = 1; /* the r6 == 0 path is explored first */ if (r0 == 0) goto 1f; r6 = 0; 1: r0 = bpf_map_lookup_elem(map, &0); /* absent, NULL at runtime */ if (r0 == r6) goto 2f; /* taken as a NULL check for r0 */ *(u8 *)(r0 + 0); /* verifier: map value; runtime: zero */ 2: return 0; The r6 == 0 path is explored first and the dereference is accepted. The r6 == 1 path is pruned at the checkpoint recorded for (1), so the comparison is never verified with a non-zero r6. At runtime a failed lookup returns NULL, NULL != 1 takes the non-NULL edge and the program dereferences a pointer that is zero.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: mark a NULL call argument precise check_func_arg() allows bpf_register_is_null() for CVE-2026-98019 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: mark a NULL call argument precise check_func_arg() allows bpf_register_is_null() for nullable arguments w/o marking the underlying scalar register precise. Hence a checkpoint created on such a path would prune against arbitrary scalar value. check_helper_call() enforces second parameter of the bpf_get_local_storage() to be zero, w/o marking the underlying scalar register precise. Hence a checkpoint created on such a path would prune against arbitrary scalar value. Grouping these two into one patch, as they share the same fixes tag.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio: fix use-after-free in unregister_virtio_device() device_unregister() is device_delCVE-2026-97996 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio: fix use-after-free in unregister_virtio_device() device_unregister() is device_del() plus put_device(). When the caller holds no extra reference, that drops the last one and runs the release callback, which for several transports frees the memory the embedded struct virtio_device sits in. unregister_virtio_device() then calls virtio_debug_device_exit(), which reads dev->debugfs_dir out of the freed object. Affected transports are the ones whose release callback frees and whose remove path takes no reference: virtio_mmio, virtio_vdpa, virtio_uml, mlxbf-tmfifo and virtio_ccw. virtio_pci is unaffected because virtio_pci_remove() brackets the call with get_device() and put_device(). Remove the debugfs entries before the device can go away. They are only accessed through the protected debugfs interface, so debugfs_remove_recursive() waits for in-progress file operations before returning. Tearing them down while the device is still alive is therefore safe. Reproduced on User-Mode Linux with CONFIG_KASAN and CONFIG_VIRTIO_DEBUG by unbinding a virtio-uml device: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in virtio_deb

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_input: reset device if input_register_device() fails Probe marks the device DRIVER_OK with virtio_device_ready() before calling input_register_device(). If registration fails, the error path cleared vi->ready and called del_vqs() while the device was still live, so the device could keep DMA to queues that were already torn down. Match remove/freeze: call virtio_reset_device() on that path before tearing down the virtqueues.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_input: stop callbacks before unregistering input device virtinput_remove() unregistCVE-2026-97986 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_input: stop callbacks before unregistering input device virtinput_remove() unregisters the input device before resetting the virtio device. virtinput_recv_events() drops vi->lock around input_event(), so clearing vi->ready does not stop a callback that passed the entry check. It can still use vi->idev, requeue buffers and kick the queue. Reset first, as virtinput_freeze() already does. With the preceding core change, reset waits for callbacks before input_unregister_device() can free vi->idev. Recheck vi->ready after taking the lock again: keep draining completed events so an input packet is not truncated, but stop requeueing buffers and kicking the queue. With evdev attached, input_unregister_handle() currently waits for an RCU grace period, which also waits out IRQ callbacks. This masks the lifetime bug on PCI and MMIO, but does not protect sleepable callbacks on other transports.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (corsair-cpro) Remove debugfs entries when probe fails ccp_debugfs_init() registers debugfs files whose private data is the devm allocated ccp. If hwmon_device_register_with_info() fails right after it, ccp_probe() returns without removing them: the HID core then frees ccp, and ccp_remove() is not called for a failed probe, so the files stay behind. Reading one of them dereferences the freed pointer. Remove the debugfs entries on that error path. debugfs_remove_recursive() waits for readers already inside the show callbacks, so ccp is no longer reachable through debugfs by the time probe returns.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Set the trace clock before registering the histogram trigger hist_register_trigger() puts the trigger on the global named_triggers list in cmd_ops->init(), and only then sets the trace clock: if (data->cmd_ops->init) { ret = data->cmd_ops->init(data); if (ret < 0) goto out; } if (hist_data->enable_timestamps) { ret = tracing_set_clock(file->tr, hist_data->attrs->clock); if (ret) { hist_err(tr, HIST_ERR_SET_CLOCK_FAIL, errpos(clock)); goto out; } The clock string is not checked anywhere before that call, so a named trigger using common_timestamp with an unknown clock fails after it has already become findable. event_hist_trigger_parse() then frees it without taking it off the list, and the next lookup by name reads the freed object: ~# cd /sys/kernel/tracing/events/sched/sched_switch ~# echo 'hist:name=foo:keys=common_pid:ts=common_timestamp:clock=bogus' > trigger bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument ~# echo 'hist:name=foo:keys=common_pid' > trigger BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in find_named_trigger+0xac/0xc0 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88800915d760 by task init/1

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: use option bits for CFM/MRP frame handlers CFM and MRP register a global br_fCVE-2026-97615 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: use option bits for CFM/MRP frame handlers CFM and MRP register a global br_frame_type whose hlist_node is linked into the per-bridge frame_type_list when the first MEP/MRP instance is created. Enabling the protocol on multiple bridges therefore inserts the same node into multiple lists. Unregistering it on one bridge then corrupts list state belonging to another. These handlers can only be installed once per bridge, and they are uncommon. Track their per-bridge enable state with net_bridge option bits, which already live on the Rx hot cache line, and dispatch the matching handler directly from the receive path. Check both bits together first as an unlikely case. Remove the generic frame_type_list and br_frame_type helpers, which have had no other users since CFM and MRP were added. That shrinks struct net_bridge by 8 bytes and drops the list walk from the fast path. When neither protocol is compiled in, BR_CFM_MRP_OPTS is 0 and the compiler prunes the branch.

Taskview Community before 1.56.0 contains a missing authentication vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to register arbitrary OAuth clients and take over user accounts by exploiting the OAuth 2.0 Dynamic Client Registration endpoint, which is enabled by default and requires no authentication. Attackers can send a POST request to the registration endpoint to obtain a client_id and client_secret, then craft a malicious authorization link pointing to an attacker-controlled redirect URI to capture authorization codes and exchange them for access tokens granting full API access to victim account data.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i3c: master: svc: Prevent IRQ storm from false SLVSTART on NPCM845 On NPCM845, when a target on the I3C bus gets stuck holding SDA low, the controller reports a false Master Request (MR) in-band interrupt event. The driver handles this by emitting a STOP condition to restore the bus. However, the hardware quirk SVC_I3C_QUIRK_FALSE_SLVSTART indicates that emitting a STOP condition may spuriously set the SLVSTART interrupt status bit. In the Master Request case, this creates a feedback loop: the STOP triggers a new SLVSTART event, the IRQ handler fires again, the controller still reports an MR type, another STOP is emitted, and the cycle repeats indefinitely, resulting in an IRQ storm that can lock up the CPU. Clear the SLVSTART status bit explicitly after emitting the STOP in the Master Request IBI handler when the SVC_I3C_QUIRK_FALSE_SLVSTART quirk is set. This breaks the feedback loop without affecting normal SLVSTART processing, which is already guarded in the top-level IRQ handler by checking that MSTATUS is in SLVREQ state.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: serial: 8250: protect against NULL uart->port.dev in register serial8250_register_8250_port() conditionally copies uart->port.dev from up->port.dev only when up->port.dev is non-NULL: if (up->port.dev) { uart->port.dev = up->port.dev; ... } So if both the existing uart slot and up have a NULL ->dev, uart->port.dev remains NULL. The very next ACPI companion check then dereferences it unconditionally: if (!has_acpi_companion(uart->port.dev)) { has_acpi_companion() reads dev->fwnode without a NULL guard (include/linux/acpi.h), so this NULL-derefs the kernel for the remaining no-dev case rather than just skipping the mctrl_gpio_init() initialisation as intended. smatch flags the inconsistency: drivers/tty/serial/8250/8250_core.c:767 serial8250_register_8250_port() error: 'uart->port.dev' could be null (see line 719) Guard the call with a NULL check so register continues to work for callers that legitimately have no parent device (legacy non-OF/non-ACPI registrations). No functional change for callers that pass a non-NULL ->dev.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/ftrace: Fix WARNING in __unregister_ftrace_function perf_ftrace_function_unregister() unconditionally calls unregister_ftrace_function() without checking whether the ftrace_ops was ever successfully registered. This triggers a WARN_ON in __unregister_ftrace_function() when the ops doesn't have FTRACE_OPS_FL_ENABLED set. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i3c: master: Fix device_register() error path When device_register() fails in i3c_master_register_new_i3c_devs(), put_device() is called to drop the reference taken by device_register(). That drops the last reference, so the device's release callback i3c_device_release() runs and frees the i3c_device. Two problems follow from that: i3c_device_release() does WARN_ON(i3cdev->desc), so it warns because desc->dev->desc still points back at the descriptor. Clear it before calling put_device(). After put_device() frees the i3c_device, desc->dev is left pointing at freed memory, so clear desc->dev as well. That prevents, for example, i3c_master_unregister_i3c_devs() seeing desc->dev as non-NULL and dereferencing it.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/efa: Fix PBL chunk length computation On register MR, when creating the PBL, if it's an indirect PBL we create a chunk list to hold the PBL pages pointers. Each chunk is 4KB in size and can hold 510 addresses (EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK) and has a 12-byte control buffer at the end of it holding the next chunk's pointer and its length. If the PBL number of pages is a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, the calculated last chunk length is wrongly computed as 0, even though that chunk is fully populated with 510 real page pointers. This wrong length is used both to DMA map the chunk and is propagated to the device, causing the device to see the chunk as empty and reject the memory registration. Fix the calculation so it will be performed only if the number of pages isn't a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, if it is, its already handled in the above loop correctly. Also prevent out-of-bounds reach in the chunks array in such scenario.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: locking/lockdep: Fix NULL pointer dereference in __lock_set_class() register_lock_class() can return NULL when the lock class pool is exhausted, graph_lock() fails, or key validation fails. However, __lock_set_class() uses the return value directly in pointer arithmetic without a NULL check: class = register_lock_class(lock, subclass, 0); hlock->class_idx = class - lock_classes; If class is NULL, this computes a wild offset that corrupts hlock->class_idx. The subsequent reacquire_held_locks() call will invoke hlock_class() with this corrupted index, leading to a NULL or out-of-bounds pointer dereference. Add the missing NULL check, consistent with how __lock_acquire() already handles this case at the same call site.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: svcrdma: Fix unmatched rn_unregister on failed accept When svc_rdma_accept() takes the errout path before rpcrdma_rn_register() has succeeded, the existing cleanup block calls rpcrdma_rn_unregister(dev, &newxprt->sc_rn) unconditionally. svcxprt_rdma is kzalloc'd, so on that path sc_rn.rn_index is 0 and sc_rn.rn_done is NULL; the unregister therefore xa_erase()s another caller's slot 0 and performs an unmatched kref_put() on the rpcrdma_device's rd_kref. The same errout also brackets the cleanup with svc_xprt_get()/ svc_xprt_put() around the kref_init() birth reference. The kref goes 1 -> 2 -> 1 and never reaches 0, so the svcxprt_rdma (and the net/ns_tracker it pinned) is leaked on every failed accept. rpcrdma_rn_register() writes rn->rn_done last, only after xa_alloc() and kref_get() have both succeeded, so rn_done == NULL is a natural "never registered" sentinel. Guard rpcrdma_rn_unregister() with an early return when rn_done is NULL, and clear rn_done before the matching xa_erase() so a repeated unregister is also a no-op. With that guard in place, the accept errout drops the kref_init() birth reference via
