  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (ltc4282) Make sure clk_init_data is fully initialized The clk_init_data structure CVE-2026-98001 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (ltc4282) Make sure clk_init_data is fully initialized The clk_init_data structure contains several mutually-exclusive members for different methods to specify the possible parents of a clock, prompting drivers to initialize only the members they need. However, not initializing all members may cause subtle issues, which are only exposed when CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL_PATTERN or CONFIG_INIT_STACK_NONE is enabled. ltc428_clk_provider_setup() does not fill in any parent clocks, and assumes that init.num_parents is NULL. However, the latter in uninitialized, and thus may cause a crash. Make sure all members are fully initialized, to fix such bugs, and to avoid future breakage when converting drivers to a different method for specifying the parents.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: Fix potential UAF in pec_store Sashiko reports: In pec_store(), a guard(mutex)(&hwdev->lock) is taken. If the chip write operation returns an error other than -EOPNOTSUPP, the code jumps to the put label, which calls put_device(hdev). If this drops the final reference, the device is freed. When the function then returns, the guard cleanup function runs and attempts to unlock the freed mutex. Use scoped_guard() instead of guard() to avoid the problem.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (corsair-cpro) Create debugfs entries after hwmon registration ccp_debugfs_init() rCVE-2026-97968 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (corsair-cpro) Create debugfs entries after hwmon registration ccp_debugfs_init() registers debugfs files whose private data is the devm allocated ccp. It runs before hwmon_device_register_with_info(), so when that registration fails, ccp_probe() returns with the files still in place. The HID core then frees ccp, and ccp_remove() is not called for a failed probe, so nothing removes them later either. Reading one of the files dereferences the freed pointer. Create the debugfs entries only after the hwmon device has been registered, so no failing path can leave them behind. The two version queries stay where they are. They send USB commands without holding ccp->mutex, which is only safe as long as nothing else can call send_usb_cmd(); once the hwmon device is registered its callbacks can do so concurrently. Only the debugfs creation moves, and it is told which queries succeeded.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (corsair-cpro) Remove debugfs entries when probe fails ccp_debugfs_init() registersCVE-2026-97967 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (corsair-cpro) Remove debugfs entries when probe fails ccp_debugfs_init() registers debugfs files whose private data is the devm allocated ccp. If hwmon_device_register_with_info() fails right after it, ccp_probe() returns without removing them: the HID core then frees ccp, and ccp_remove() is not called for a failed probe, so the files stay behind. Reading one of them dereferences the freed pointer. Remove the debugfs entries on that error path. debugfs_remove_recursive() waits for readers already inside the show callbacks, so ccp is no longer reachable through debugfs by the time probe returns.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (gpio-fan) Fix use-after-free in alarm work fan_alarm_irq_handler() queues fan_dataCVE-2026-97582 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (gpio-fan) Fix use-after-free in alarm work fan_alarm_irq_handler() queues fan_data->alarm_work, but nothing cancels it. fan_alarm_notify() dereferences fan_data and its hwmon device. On unbind, devres frees the interrupt, which only waits for the handler itself, and then releases the hwmon device and fan_data, so a pending fan_alarm_notify() can run after those frees. Replace INIT_WORK() with devm_work_autocancel(), registered before devm_request_irq(). The devres cleanup then frees the interrupt first, so no new work can be queued, and cancels the work while fan_data and the hwmon device are still alive. This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (asus_rog_ryujin) Validate HID report lengths rog_ryujin_raw_event() parses response headers and payload fields without first checking that they are present in the received report. A short report can therefore make the driver consume uninitialized bytes from the HID transport buffer and expose them as sensor values through sysfs. Lemonldap::NG::Handler versions from 2.0.0 before 2.16.10, from 2.17.0 before 2.21.6, from 2.22.0 before 2.23.4 for Perl allow an equivalent spelling of a path to bypass the locationRules that restrict it. The handler matches each vhost's locationRules regular expressions against REQUEST_URI, the raw request line, while the web server routes on the path it has already percent-decoded and normalized. A request that percent-encodes a character of the path, inserts dot segments, or doubles a slash therefore reaches the protected resource under a URI that no rule regexp matches, and the vhost's default rule decides access. Deny rules, identity and group conditions, and unprotect and skip rules are bypassed alike. Only a vhost whose default rule is more permissive than its other rules is affected. An authenticated user then reaches any URL a locationRules regexp was meant to restrict, but gains no more than that default rule already grants.

  • Sep 24, 2026Lemonldap::NG::Portal versions from 2.23.0 before 2.23.4 for Perl allow a PKCE bypass for public Relying Parties in "PKCE or secret" mode because checkEndPointACVE-2026-92289 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

Lemonldap::NG::Portal versions from 2.23.0 before 2.23.4 for Perl allow a PKCE bypass for public Relying Parties in "PKCE or secret" mode because checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials does not verify the client secret. With oidcRPMetaDataOptionsRequirePKCE set to 2, the authorization endpoint issues a code even when the request carries no code_challenge, and token() admits the exchange as long as a challenge was stored or an authentication method was returned for the caller. checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials() skips the secret comparison for a Relying Party marked public and still returns the method deduced from the request, so any Basic or form credential satisfies the secret branch. validatePKCEChallenge() then passes, because neither a challenge nor a verifier is present. An attacker who intercepts an authorization code issued to a public Relying Party can exchange it for the user's access, ID and refresh tokens by replaying the client_id with an arbitrary secret, which is the attack PKCE prevents. Dynamic client registration creates every Relying Party in this mode.

Lemonldap::NG::Portal versions from 2.20.0 before 2.21.6, from 2.22.0 before 2.23.4 for Perl allow unauthenticated OAuth2 token introspection because checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials does not verify the client secret of a public Relying Party. checkEndPointAuthenticationCredentials() skips the secret comparison for a Relying Party marked public and still returns the authentication method deduced from the request, client_secret_basic or client_secret_post. introspection() rejects a caller only when that method is missing or none, so a request carrying a public client_id and an arbitrary or empty secret passes the endpoint's authentication check. An attacker who holds an access token and knows the client_id of any public Relying Party can confirm the token is active and read its metadata, including scope, audience, expiry and the sub claim. The sub claim is computed with the calling Relying Party's user identifier attribute, so an attacker can translate a user identifier from one Relying Party to another, defeating per-client and pseudonymous identifiers.

An integer overflow in the BSON document encoding component of the MongoDB Python Driver's bundled native extension may occur when a single document is built from an unusually large amount of caller-supplied data. Size arithmetic is performed in a signed 32-bit type, and the guard meant to catch the overflow is written in a form whose behavior is not defined by the C language standard. A party with no privileges who can place a very large value into data that an application encodes may, depending on how the native extension was built, cause a write outside the bounds of an allocated buffer inside the application's own process.

Therefore we set info->band to NUM_NL80211_BANDS. However, this leads to out-of-bound access in ieee80211_add_tx_radiotap_header when we try to access the sbands array. Fix it by not accessing the array if the band is NUM_NL80211_BANDS. This means that we will not report rate info for legacy rate in NAN. But nobody really cares about it.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: smbus: reject oversized block transfers in the common path The SMBus block transfer length data->block[0] is validated in i2c_smbus_xfer_emulated() but that check runs too late for tracepoints and is skipped entirely when the adapter provides a native smbus_xfer implementation. This allows user-controlled oversized block lengths to reach tracepoint memcpy calls and driver callbacks unchecked. Add an early validation in __i2c_smbus_xfer() that rejects block transfers whose caller-supplied length is zero or exceeds I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX before any tracepoint fires or driver callback runs. data->block[0] is filled in by the device on SMBus block reads, so the check is scoped to operations where the length is actually supplied by the caller. This is consistent with the existing -EINVAL convention in the emulated path and protects all downstream consumers at once: the smbus_write tracepoint, all native smbus_xfer driver implementations, and the emulated path. Two distinct bugs are fixed by this change: Bug 1: smbus_write tracepoint OOB (include/trace/events/smbus.h) trace_smbus_write() fires before any validat

However, if a distro has locally patched MPEG2 support out (as it has been broken for some time) the platform format table does not contain MPEG2 so find_format() returns NULL and the subsequent dereference of fmt_out->max_width triggers a NULL pointer dereference. Fix this by falling back to the first format in the platform's format array instead of hardcoding V4L2_PIX_FMT_MPEG2. This is always valid since every platform defines at least one format.

Paessler PRTG Network Monitor before version 26.2.120.1449 is affected by a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. When a request is made for a non-existent resource ending in \".htm\", the web interface returns an HTTP 403 \"Forbidden Path\" error page that echoes the requested URL path into the HTML response body without proper output encoding or sanitization. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can craft a URL containing an HTML/JavaScript payload in the path (e.g. https:////welcome.htm) and, once a victim with an active PRTG session opens the crafted link, execute arbitrary JavaScript in the security context of the PRTG web interface. Because the PRTG session cookie is not protected with the HttpOnly attribute, successful exploitation allows the attacker to read and exfiltrate the victim's session cookie, potentially leading to session hijacking.

  • Sep 23, 2026The Reachy Mini daemon exposes an HTTP API for managing the robot.CVE-2026-96455 · Other software · Pollen Robotics · reported by reefs@jfrog.comHigh 8.8

The Reachy Mini daemon exposes an HTTP API for managing the robot. Its app installation endpoint, POST /apps/install in src/reachy_mini/daemon/app/routers/apps.py, has no authentication. The handler's only dependency is Depends(get_app_manager), which just hands back the manager object from application state, so nothing in the chain ever checks a credential. The endpoint takes an AppInfo body naming a Hugging Face Space. The daemon downloads that Space and installs it as a Python package through install_package in src/reachy_mini/apps/sources/local_common_venv.py, using uv or pip. Installing a Python package runs the package's own build and setup code, so whoever chooses the Space chooses what code the robot runs. Anyone can publish a public Hugging Face Space, so this is not a meaningful restriction on the attacker. How far this reaches depends on the model. In _resolve_bind_host in src/reachy_mini/daemon/app/main.py the daemon binds 0.0.0.0 when it runs as the wireless version and 127.0.0.1 otherwise, with the vendor's own comment explaining that the robot has to be reachable on the LAN. Sentry is an error tracking and performance monitoring tool. From 23.11.0 until 26.7.0, Sentry instances with the relocation feature enabled unsafely deserialize a legacy database field while importing a user-supplied relocation archive. An authenticated user can craft an archive that causes arbitrary code execution in the import worker process. Self-hosted installations using the default configuration are not affected because the relocation feature is disabled by default. This issue is fixed in version 26.7.0.

  • Sep 21, 2026Tautulli is a Python based monitoring and tracking tool for Plex Media Server.CVE-2026-54915 · Other software · Tautulli · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4

Tautulli is a Python based monitoring and tracking tool for Plex Media Server. Prior to 2.17.2, the unauthenticated /auth/redirect endpoint in plexpy/webauth.py removes forward slashes from the user-controlled redirect_uri parameter but leaves tab, line-feed, and carriage-return characters intact. With the default root HTTP_ROOT configuration, CherryPy HTTPRedirect passes the resulting value to urllib.parse.urljoin, which can resolve the whitespace-bearing path to an attacker-controlled external origin. A user who follows a crafted link can therefore be redirected outside Tautulli for phishing or post-login redirect-flow abuse, while custom non-root HTTP_ROOT configurations are not affected by this bypass. This issue is fixed in version 2.17.2.

  • Sep 21, 2026Tautulli is a Python based monitoring and tracking tool for Plex Media Server.CVE-2026-52835 · Other software · Tautulli · reported by GitHubHigh 7

Tautulli is a Python based monitoring and tracking tool for Plex Media Server. Prior to 2.17.2, the import_config handler and the database_file branch of import_database in plexpy/webserve.py join the attacker-controlled config_file.filename or database_file.filename directly to CACHE_DIR without basename reduction or a containment check. An administrator or caller with the instance API key can submit a multipart filename containing parent-directory segments, causing the upload to be created or overwritten outside CACHE_DIR before file-content validation runs. The write is limited to paths permitted to the Tautulli process, but it can enable configuration tampering, service disruption, or code execution. This issue is fixed in version 2.17.2.

Tautulli is a Python based monitoring and tracking tool for Plex Media Server. Prior to 2.17.2, the newsletter cron field stored in the newsletters table is inserted by data/interfaces/default/newsletter_config.html into a JavaScript string without safe JSON encoding. An administrator or caller with the Tautulli API key can store a crafted cron value, and an administrator who later opens the newsletter configuration modal passively triggers script execution in the Tautulli web context. Prior to 6.7.260718, scripts/lua/rest/v2/get/system/configurations/list_available_backups.lua and scripts/lua/rest/v2/get/system/configurations/download_backup.lua allow any authenticated non-admin user to list and download system-configuration backups without an administrator check. The download path reaches backup_config.export_backup, and prefs_dump_utils.build_prefs_dump_table includes the ntopng.user.* Redis key space in the backup. A downloaded backup can therefore disclose password hashes for local users and, when configured, API tokens, TOTP secrets, and WebAuthn credential data, enabling account compromise through usable or recoverable credentials. ntopng is a web-based network traffic monitoring application. Prior to 6.7.260717, the vulnerability-scan endpoints scripts/lua/rest/v2/add/host/to_scan.lua and scripts/lua/rest/v2/exec/host/schedule_vulnerability_scan.lua accept the scan_ports parameter without an administrator gate and pass it through validateSingleWord, which permits shell metacharacters. scripts/lua/modules/vulnerability_scan/vs_utils.lua then concatenates scan_ports into an nmap command in nmap_scan_host and executes the command through ntop.execCmd or ntop.execCmdAsync and popen. Any authenticated non-admin user can execute operating-system commands as the ntopng process account when nmap is available. Because the endpoints accept GET requests while ntopng's CSRF validation applies to POST request bodies, an attacker can also trigger the command through a logged-in user's browser without possessing ntopng credentials. This issue is fixed in version 6.7.260717.

Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 8.0.6, the FTP parser in src/app-layer-ftp.c treats a RETR or STOR command sent before PORT or PASV negotiation as a fatal application-layer error instead of a recoverable protocol event. Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, the SMB parser can retain force-completed transactions on flows where Suricata sees payload in only one direction, including async-oneside flows, because cleanup waits for inspection in the unseen direction. The transaction creation paths in rust/src/smb can exceed the intended SMB_MAX_TX bound, and cleanup repeatedly scans the growing list.
