Sep 23, 2026Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker.CVE-2026-95846 · Other software · moquette-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker. Prior to 0.18.1, PostOffice.publishWill publishes a client's Last-Will message without applying the canWrite authorization and reserved-topic checks used for a normal PUBLISH. A client can configure a Will for a topic that the client is not permitted to write and cause the broker to publish the unauthorized message when the client disconnects unexpectedly. This issue allows unauthorized message injection into restricted topics. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.1.

Sep 23, 2026Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker.CVE-2026-95845 · Other software · moquette-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker. Prior to 0.18.1, the broker does not enforce a maximum length for pending per-session message queues. When a fast publisher sends messages to a slow subscriber whose in-flight window is full, queued messages can accumulate without bound in memory or persistent storage. Remote clients can use this condition to exhaust broker resources and cause a denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.1.

Sep 23, 2026Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker.CVE-2026-95844 · Other software · moquette-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker. Prior to 0.18.1, Moquette does not limit the depth of topic names and topic filters before processing them through recursive CTrie insertion and matching operations. A remote client can publish or subscribe with a deeply nested topic, causing a StackOverflowError that disrupts session processing and can deny service to broker clients. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.1.

Sep 23, 2026Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker.CVE-2026-95843 · Other software · moquette-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker. Prior to 0.18.1, PostOffice.subscribe parses a shared-subscription filter through SharedSubscriptionUtils.extractShareName before validating the complete $share/{shareName}/{topicFilter} structure. A remote client can send a filter such as $share/grp without a topic-filter portion, causing a StringIndexOutOfBoundsException while calculating the share name. The exception terminates command handling on the shared session event loop and can deny service to other client sessions assigned to that loop. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.1.

Sep 23, 2026Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker.CVE-2026-95842 · Other software · moquette-io · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker. Prior to 0.18.1, SessionEventLoop.run catches only InterruptedException, and SessionEventLoopGroup does not restart a terminated loop. An MQTT command that raises an uncaught exception can terminate an event loop shared by multiple client sessions, preventing every co-located client from processing PUBLISH, SUBSCRIBE, PUBACK, and other commands. An attacker can select client IDs that map across the available loops to disrupt session processing for the entire broker. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.1.

Sep 23, 2026Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker.CVE-2026-85724 · Other software · moquette-io · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6
Moquette is a lightweight Java MQTT broker. Prior to 0.18.1, when pattern-based ACL rules are configured, AuthorizationsCollector.canDoOperation substitutes client ID and username values directly into rules containing %c or %u and then treats the result as an MQTT topic filter. A client that uses + or # in either identity can broaden the substituted filter and gain cross-tenant read and write access. A # identity can also produce an invalid filter that triggers a NullPointerException in Topic.match and disrupts session processing. This issue is fixed in version 0.18.1.

Sep 23, 2026SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies.CVE-2026-59167 · Other software · JiHong88 · reported by GitHubCritical 10
SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies. Prior to 2.47.11, the sanitizer in src/lib/core.js does not consistently reject namespaced or custom HTML elements, allowing event-handler attributes to remain on crafted elements. When an application renders attacker-controlled editor content and a user interacts with the element, the retained handler can execute script in the application's browser origin, enabling stored cross-site scripting, data exposure, or unauthorized browser-context actions. Sep 22, 2026UTF8DataInputJsonParser._reportInvalidToken() in FasterXML jackson-core builds the offending-token text for its error message by appending Java identifier charaCVE-2026-89425 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5
UTF8DataInputJsonParser._reportInvalidToken() in FasterXML jackson-core builds the offending-token text for its error message by appending Java identifier characters to a StringBuilder in a loop that has no upper bound. Unlike the three sibling parser implementations, including UTF8StreamJsonParser, it never consults ErrorReportConfiguration.getMaxErrorTokenLength() (default 256). A malformed token supplied to a parser created through JsonFactory.createParser(DataInput) is therefore accumulated in full. No StreamReadConstraints setting mitigates this: maxDocumentLength cannot be applied to DataInput sources at all, and maxStringLength does not cover this path because the accumulation bypasses ReadConstrainedTextBuffer. The reporter measured a 20,000,109-character exception message from a 20-million-character malformed token on the DataInput path, against 367 characters for identical input on the InputStream path. Scaling the payload drives the StringBuilder, which also incurs byte-to-char expansion and internal array doubling, to many times the raw payload size and can trigger OutOfMemoryError for the whole JVM. UTF8DataInputJsonParser was introduced in 2.8.0 together with createPa

Sep 22, 2026js-toml is a TOML parser for JavaScript.CVE-2026-63386 · Other software · sunnyadn · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
js-toml is a TOML parser for JavaScript. Prior to 1.1.3, load() does not bound nesting or dotted-key depth in the recursive parser at src/load/parser.ts or the interpreter at src/load/interpreter.ts, so deeply nested arrays, deeply nested inline tables, or long dotted keys can exhaust the V8 call stack and throw a raw RangeError instead of the documented SyntaxParseError. Applications that parse attacker-controlled TOML and handle only SyntaxParseError can rethrow the unexpected exception, which can terminate a worker or process and cause denial of service. The exception is synchronous and catchable by consumers that handle all exceptions, and the issue does not affect confidentiality or integrity. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.3.

Sep 22, 2026The Tauri updater plugin's 'check' IPC command accepts an allowDowngrades boolean parameter directly from frontend JavaScript code.CVE-2026-95624 · Other software · Tauri · reported by reefs@jfrog.comMedium 6.8
The Tauri updater plugin's 'check' IPC command accepts an allowDowngrades boolean parameter directly from frontend JavaScript code. When set to true, it replaces the version comparator from "update must be newer" to "update must be different." Because the default permission set grants allow-check to the webview, any XSS in the app frontend can invoke this command and bypass the only anti-rollback protection the updater offers. Combined with another bug, this enables downgrade attacks without even needing to fake a higher version number.

Sep 21, 2026MISP contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the contextual menu JavaScript component.CVE-2026-94373 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.3
MISP contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the contextual menu JavaScript component. The ContextualMenu class populates HTML <option> elements by assigning user-controllable values to the innerHTML property. Because innerHTML parses and renders HTML markup, any untrusted string supplied as the option text (value.text or value) is interpreted as live DOM content rather than plain text. An attacker who can influence the data rendered in the contextual menu can inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript that executes in the victim's browser within the MISP application origin. This may allow session hijacking, data exfiltration, or unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the authenticated user. Version affected: <2.5.47

Sep 18, 2026Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job.CVE-2026-92708 · Other software · sveltejs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. In versions 5.1.0 through 5.9.2, stringify and uneval functions serialize a typed array by emitting its entire backing ArrayBuffer rather than only the view, so serializing a Node Buffer, whose backing store is a process-wide shared pool, discloses up to 64 KB of unrelated process memory, including bytes from other in-flight requests. In a server-side-rendered framework such as SvelteKit or Nuxt, a public page whose load() returns a small Buffer, or that reads a small file, can therefore ship another user's request body or Authorization header in its HTML without authentication. Because this occurs during serialization, it fires on every such render and is not mitigated by the parse/unflatten prototype-pollution and denial-of-service guards, which only apply when parsing untrusted input. As a workaround, convert Node Buffer objects to Uint8Array before serialization. This issue has been fixed in version 5.9.3.

Sep 18, 2026adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js.CVE-2026-77301 · Other software · cthackers · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js. Prior to 0.6.1, getData() in zipEntry.js trusts an entry's central-directory uncompressed size and allocates output memory before validating that value against the actual compressed data and decompression result. A small crafted ZIP can declare a multi-gigabyte uncompressed size, causing Buffer.alloc and decompression handling to commit excessive resident memory before CRC validation reports an error. Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85720 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, a request using an HTTP proxy to reach an HTTPS origin can expose preemptive origin credentials because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender.sendRequestWithNewChannel attach Authorization to the plaintext CONNECT request before the TLS tunnel exists. Basic or Digest credentials and per-connection NTLM, Kerberos, or SPNEGO tokens intended for the origin are therefore visible to the proxy and to observers on the client-to-proxy hop. The tunneled request still receives origin Authorization after the tunnel is established, while Proxy-Authorization remains on CONNECT for its intended proxy recipient. Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85716 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubLow 3.7
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 3.0.8 until 3.0.12, processScramAuthenticationInfo and processAuthenticationInfo compute the SCRAM ServerSignature or Digest rspauth verification result but log a mismatch and still deliver the response as authenticated. On a non-TLS or compromised transport, a peer that has not proved knowledge of the shared secret can therefore be accepted as the server. The fix rejects a present invalid value and computes Digest rspauth from the Authorization parameters actually sent, but verification remains unenforced when the value is absent, the sent parameters cannot be recovered, or Digest uses qop=auth-int. Sep 17, 2026libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack.CVE-2026-86040 · Other software · libp2p · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to 11.0.26, @libp2p/floodsub accepts unauthenticated RPC frames on /floodsub/1.0.0 through PeerStreams.attachInboundStream in packages/floodsub/src/peer-streams.ts without protobuf element limits, then processRpc and processRpcSubOpt in packages/floodsub/src/floodsub.ts synchronously process the subscriptions array without a per-frame cap. A single bounded-size frame can decode into millions of empty subscription entries that block the event loop, while hundreds of thousands of unique-topic SUBSCRIBE entries allocate PeerSet objects in this.topics that are not removed after peer removal or stop. Empty entries cause CPU exhaustion but do not grow this.topics; persistent memory growth requires unique topics. The subscription path bypasses message signature validation and the message-only processing queue, allowing a remote peer to cause sustained CPU denial of service, memory exhaustion, out-of-memory termination, and node unavailability. The issue is fixed in version 11.0.26.

Sep 17, 2026libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack.CVE-2026-86039 · Other software · libp2p · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. From 8.0.0 until 12.0.24, @libp2p/peer-store in packages/peer-store/src/index.ts uses consumePeerRecord to verify a RecordEnvelope signature but does not require PeerRecord.peerId in the signed payload to equal the signer peer ID derived by RecordEnvelope.openAndCertify. The expectedPeer option checks only the envelope signer, and the gossipsub Peer Exchange path can provide the attacker's own peer ID as expectedPeer. An attacker can therefore sign a record with the attacker's key, place a victim peer ID and attacker-controlled multiaddrs in the payload, and have certified addresses stored for the victim. The poisoned addresses can cause address-book corruption, dial redirection or failure, routing manipulation, and reachability disruption, although the connection upgrade still verifies remote peer identity and prevents a complete identity takeover. The issue is fixed in version 12.0.24.

Sep 17, 2026libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack.CVE-2026-86038 · Other software · libp2p · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. From 15.0.0 until 16.0.5, @libp2p/gossipsub uses the default StrictSign policy in packages/gossipsub/src/utils/buildRawMessage.ts, where validateToRawMessage verifies a signature with attacker-controlled msg.key but skips binding that key to msg.from when the claimed author is an RSA peer ID that does not inline a public key. An unauthenticated attacker can place a victim RSA peer ID in msg.from, sign the message with the attacker's private key, and supply the attacker's public key in msg.key, causing the message to be accepted and propagated as authored by the victim. Applications that trust message.from for validators, authorization, accounting, moderation, reputation, or audit logging can process attacker-controlled data under false origin attribution. The issue is fixed in version 16.0.5.

Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85721 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, automatic response decompression on the HTTP/1.1 path uses ChannelManager.newHttpContentDecompressor() to install Http1ContentDecompressor without a cumulative output-size limit. A hostile or compromised server, or an attacker who can alter a response in transit, can send a small gzip, deflate, or snappy response that expands across chunks until the client exhausts its heap and raises OutOfMemoryError; brotli and zstd are also affected when their optional codecs are present. In versions 3.0.8 through 3.0.10, the HTTP/2 decompressor is also unbounded, so switching protocols does not mitigate the issue on those releases. A limit applied to each decode call is insufficient because the response can be delivered as many small chunks, so the fixed implementation tracks total decompressed bytes for the whole response. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85719 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, requests using an authenticated SOCKS proxy can expose the proxy's credentials to the origin because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender attach Proxy-Authorization without confirming that the request is being sent to an HTTP proxy. With preemptive proxy authentication, the header is attached to a plaintext HTTP request, exposing credentials such as directly reversible Basic credentials to the origin. With the default non-preemptive flow, a hostile origin can return a 407 response and ProxyUnauthorized407Interceptor sends the proxy credentials through the existing SOCKS tunnel, including NTLM, Kerberos, and SPNEGO credentials. Releases before 2.1.0 lack SOCKS proxy support. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85718 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 3.0.8 until 3.0.12, a client with maxConnections or maxConnectionsPerHost set above zero leaks one connection permit whenever TLS connection establishment fails before the handshake completes. NettyConnectListener removes the partitionKeyLock permit from NettyResponseFuture before every failure path is bound to the channel closeFuture, so an abort can leave the permit unreleased. Repeated failures can permanently lock out one host under a per-host limit or drain the shared pool under a global limit, blocking later requests even when no connection remains open. The default unlimited connection setting is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.12.

Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85717 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.14.5 to 2.16.0 and from 3.0.9 to 3.0.11, a client configured with a client-wide Realm and redirect following can disclose credentials after a cross-origin redirect because the Interceptors authentication path falls back to the client configuration after redirect handling clears the per-exchange realm. If the attacker-controlled target returns 401, the client can send Basic or Digest credentials or a Negotiate or NTLM token to that origin. Per-request realms are stripped correctly, and this issue is a residual bypass of the earlier cross-origin credential-stripping fixes. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

Sep 17, 2026ExifReader is a JavaScript Exif information parser.CVE-2026-85715 · Other software · mattiasw · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
ExifReader is a JavaScript Exif information parser. Prior to 4.41.1, ExifReader parses attacker-controlled HEIC or AVIF ISO-BMFF files in getItems() within src/image-header-iso-bmff-iloc.js and trusts iloc itemCount and extentCount values while allocating an extent object for every nested-loop iteration. When offsetSize, lengthSize, baseOffsetSize, and indexSize are zero, the extent fields consume no input bytes and the buffer offset does not advance, but the parser can still allocate up to itemCount multiplied by extentCount objects without an allocation budget. A small malicious iloc box can therefore cause hundreds of megabytes of heap growth or exhaust system memory, terminating a Node.js process and denying service to web, desktop, or mobile applications that parse untrusted images. The zero field widths are valid ISO-BMFF values indicating absent fields, so the vulnerable parser must bound work rather than relying on offset advancement. The issue is fixed in version 4.41.1.

Sep 17, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-61700 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubLow 3.7
MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9, ClientMessage.readPacket processes a server-initiated LOCAL INFILE protocol packet 0xfb without enforcing allowLocalInfile=false. When an application sends a LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE COM_QUERY, a rogue or man-in-the-middle server can echo the same filename and cause the connector to transmit that file despite the disabled option. The server cannot redirect the request to an arbitrary path and can receive only the exact file already selected by the application, so exploitation requires an application that actively loads sensitive data over an untrusted connection. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 is a sandbox for running untrusted JavaScript.CVE-2026-92962 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.1
vm2 is a sandbox for running untrusted JavaScript. In vm2 versions up to and including 3.11.3, the defaultSandboxPrepareStackTrace function in lib/setup-sandbox.js builds its output array using prototype-walking index assignment (lines[lines.length] = value) rather than a prototype-bypassing define-property primitive. Because this bridge-internal array is allocated in the sandbox realm, code inside the sandbox can install an accessor on Array.prototype for the relevant index; the accessor is then invoked whenever the sandbox reads error.stack (or otherwise triggers Error.prepareStackTrace), allowing sandbox code to observe and intercept each stack-trace line written by the bridge. The same pattern is used in the error-handling (catch) branch. The values written are formatted strings only, so the practical impact is limited to an information side channel and a violation of vm2's bridge-container defense invariant rather than a sandbox escape; the vendor rates the issue Low. The issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.4, which installs each entry as an own data property via Reflect.defineProperty.

Sep 17, 2026vm2 is a sandbox library for running untrusted JavaScript in Node.js.CVE-2026-92954 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
vm2 is a sandbox library for running untrusted JavaScript in Node.js. In versions >= 3.10.0 and <= 3.11.7, Promises returned from the host realm into the sandbox are not marked as handled at the bridge boundary; only Promises created inside the sandbox are wrapped with a rejection-swallowing handler (lib/setup-sandbox.js), and the bridge only installs host-side rejection sanitizers when sandbox code calls .then/.catch/.finally. As a result, code running in the sandbox can invoke a host function that returns a rejected Promise (for example events.once() exposed via the NodeVM events builtin, or any embedder-provided Promise-returning API) and simply ignore the return value, leaving the host Promise unhandled so that Node.js's default unhandled-rejection behavior terminates the host process. This is an incomplete fix of GHSA-hw58-p9xv-2mjh. The issue is fixed in version 3.11.8.
