  • Sep 19, 2026WordLift – AI powered SEO – Schema: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-9289 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The WordLift – AI powered SEO – Schema plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.54.10 via the JSON-LD REST API endpoints. This is due to the plugin registering the /wordlift/v1/jsonld/ routes (jsonld/{id}, jsonld/http/{item_id}, jsonld/post-meta/{meta_key}, jsonld/meta/{meta_key}, and jsonld/{post_type}/{post_name}) with a permission_callback of '__return_true' and the downstream converter retrieving the post via get_post() without verifying the post status or the requesting user's capabilities. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the title, content/description, author, publication and modification dates, word count, comment count, and other metadata of private, draft, and pending posts by enumerating post IDs, bypassing WordPress core access controls.

  • Sep 19, 2026Bread: Information exposureCVE-2026-4792 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Bread plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to information exposure in versions up to and including 2.9.12. This is due to the lack of authentication and authorization checks on the settings export functionality (download_settings function) which is registered on the plugins_loaded hook and explicitly allows execution on non-admin (public) pages. The function exports all plugin configuration settings including the protection_password field, which is stored in plaintext. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the PDF protection password by accessing the /?export-meeting-list=1 endpoint.

  • Sep 18, 2026Better Messages – Chat Rooms, Group Chat, Private Messages & AI Chat Bots: Information Exposure by SpoofingCVE-2026-89093 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Better Messages – Chat Rooms, Group Chat, Private Messages & AI Chat Bots plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure by Spoofing in all versions up to, and including, 2.15.33. This is due to the `is_ai_bot_user()` function identifying privileged internal AI bot accounts by performing a prefix check for `'ai-chat-bot-'` against a guest record's stored IP address, which is populated verbatim from the client-controlled `X-Real-IP` request header during unauthenticated guest registration. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a guest identity that the plugin treats as its own internal AI bot, bypassing the per-room role allowlist, draft-status check, and join filters — which are all short-circuited by the bot check in `user_can_join()` and `user_can_read()` — to join administrator-restricted chat rooms, post messages into them, and read the private message history of other users.

  • Sep 18, 2026Divi Essential: Sensitive information exposureCVE-2026-15760 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Divi Essential plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to sensitive information exposure in versions up to, and including, 5.8.1 via the dnxte_get_database_tables and dnxte_get_database_data AJAX actions. The handlers only conditionally verify a nonce (the check runs solely when the 'nonce' POST parameter is present and can be trivially bypassed by omitting the parameter) and never call current_user_can() or otherwise enforce a capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enumerate every table in the WordPress database and read up to a caller-controlled number of rows from any table — including wp_users (usernames, emails, hashed passwords), wp_usermeta (session tokens, secret keys), and wp_options (privileged settings, API keys, credentials stored by other plugins).

  • Sep 18, 2026vm2 through 3.12.0 exposes Node.js's crypto.setFips() function to untrusted guest code when an embedder explicitly allowlists the crypto builtin for a NodeVM (rCVE-2026-93604 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

vm2 through 3.12.0 exposes Node.js's crypto.setFips() function to untrusted guest code when an embedder explicitly allowlists the crypto builtin for a NodeVM (require.builtin: ['crypto']). The builtin sanitizer (sanitizeCryptoModule in lib/builtin.js) replaces crypto.setEngine but leaves crypto.setFips callable, and the readonly wrapper used to expose the host module does not localize side effects of forwarded host functions. Guest code can therefore call crypto.setFips() to change the FIPS mode of the entire host process; the modified mode is subsequently observed by trusted host code (crypto.getFips() changed from 0 to 1 in the reported test), crossing the NodeVM isolation boundary. • Sep 17, 2026The OpenFeature Operator allows users to expose feature flags to applications.CVE-2026-54495 · Other software · open-feature · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

The OpenFeature Operator allows users to expose feature flags to applications. In version 0.9.2 and earlier, a tenant who can create a controller-owned workload can use the openfeature.dev/featureflagsource annotation with NAMESPACE/NAME syntax to reference a FeatureFlagSource or InProcessConfiguration in another namespace. On multi-tenant clusters that use namespaces as trust boundaries, the cluster-scoped operator reads that resource and materializes spec.envVars literal values, spec.httpSyncBearerToken, sync URIs, and supporting ConfigMaps into the tenant's workload. Single-tenant clusters are not impacted, secretKeyRef and configMapKeyRef values remain namespace-local, and creating a FeatureFlagSource is not required.

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Release the export reference when reaping open stateids nfs4_put_stid() releases theCVE-2026-90236 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Release the export reference when reaping open stateids nfs4_put_stid() releases the svc_export tracked in nfs4_stid.sc_export, but free_ol_stateid_reaplist() frees open and lock stateids by calling ->sc_free() directly, bypassing that path. An open stateid takes an sc_export reference in nfs4_open() and a lock stateid takes its own in init_lock_stateid(); both reach free_ol_stateid_reaplist() through their normal teardown, the open stateid via release_open_stateid() and the lock stateid via nfsd4_release_lockowner(), each through put_ol_stateid_locked(). The reference is therefore never dropped, pinning the export and blocking unmount for the lifetime of the stateid. Release sc_export in free_ol_stateid_reaplist() the way nfs4_put_stid() does. ->sc_free() runs once per stateid, and a stateid reaches free_ol_stateid_reaplist() or nfs4_put_stid() but never both, so the reference is dropped exactly once. Revoked stateids reach this path with sc_export already cleared by drop_stid_export(), so they are skipped rather than double-freed. nfs4_put_stid() itself read sc_export before acquiring cl_lock. drop_stid

vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose the host process's real https.globalAgent to sandboxed code when a NodeVM is explicitly configured to allow require('https'). The builtin loader wraps host modules in a read-only proxy, but method calls such as Agent.prototype.on() are forwarded to the underlying host object, so sandbox code can register a listener for the agent's 'free' event. When an unrelated host HTTPS request releases a pooled connection, the listener receives the live host request options and the host TLSSocket, allowing sandboxed code to read the host's Authorization header and private destination host/port, attach a data listener to the released socket and read subsequent host response bodies in plaintext, and issue attacker-chosen authenticated requests using the stolen credentials. The issue is fixed in 3.11.7.

  • Sep 17, 2026vm2 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 exposes the host Node.js crypto module to a NodeVM sandbox when the crypto builtin is allowed.CVE-2026-92939 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

vm2 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 exposes the host Node.js crypto module to a NodeVM sandbox when the crypto builtin is allowed. The module is presented via a recursive read-only proxy, but its callable exports still execute with host-process authority. Sandboxed JavaScript can therefore call crypto.setEngine() with a filesystem path to an attacker-supplied native library (for example, one bundled in an untrusted plugin package already written to disk); OpenSSL asks the operating-system dynamic loader to load the file, and the library's constructor executes native code in the host process before engine-symbol validation rejects it. Exploitation requires only the crypto builtin and does not require fs, process, module, child_process, worker_threads, vm, or inspector access, resulting in a sandbox escape and arbitrary native code execution. Fixed in 3.11.7.

vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose Node.js's host node:sqlite module to code running in NodeVM when that builtin is permitted, either explicitly or through builtin: ['*']. The module is wrapped with vm.readonly(), which prevents property assignment but leaves host-authority callables reachable; in addition, the resolver treats any request starting with 'node:' as a core-module request and the runtime strips only one 'node:' prefix, so a sandbox request for 'node:node:sqlite' resolves to the configured node:sqlite entry. Sandboxed code can therefore create an in-memory DatabaseSync with extension loading enabled and call DatabaseSync.loadExtension() on a native library bundled in the untrusted plugin package (path derived from __dirname). SQLite loads the library into the Node.js host process and invokes its native entry point, giving the sandboxed plugin arbitrary native code execution outside the sandbox with the host process's privileges. The issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Prevent client use-after-free during export state revocation nfsd4_revoke_export_states() has the same use-after-free as nfsd4_revoke_states(): it drops nn->client_lock across revoke_one_stid() and the following read of clp->cl_minorversion, but the stateid reference it holds does not pin the client. A teardown racing the dropped lock can free the client while revoke_one_stid() still dereferences it. exportfs -u drives this path through NFSD_CMD_UNLOCK_EXPORT, so an administrator removing an export can race a client expiry. Skip a client that is already expiring and otherwise pin it with cl_rpc_users under client_lock before dropping the lock, matching nfsd4_revoke_states().

  • Sep 15, 2026GitHacker is a tool that restores Git repositories from exposed .git directories.CVE-2026-50024 · Other software · WangYihang · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

GitHacker is a tool that restores Git repositories from exposed .git directories. In 1.1.7 and earlier, add_head_file_tasks parses an attacker-controlled ref path from .git/HEAD and joins unvalidated path segments onto temp_dst/.git/logs/, allowing a malicious server to make GitHacker read an arbitrary local file when a victim runs the tool against the server's URL. add_hashes_parsed then scans the file for 40-character hexadecimal substrings and requests each match through .git/objects using the first two characters and remaining characters as path components, creating an attacker-observable existence oracle and disclosing matching hexadecimal fragments. Complete file contents are not returned, and the add_folder and add_task write path in shipped version 1.1.7 does not permit an escape. This issue is fixed in repository version 1.1.9.

  • Sep 15, 2026Affected versions of MISP expose several state-changing controller actions without restricting them to POST.CVE-2026-91857 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

Affected versions of MISP expose several state-changing controller actions without restricting them to POST. The affected actions are:  - EventReportsController::purgeUnusedPictures()  - NoticelistsController::enableNoticelist()  - ServersController::removeOrphanedCorrelations()  - WorkflowsController::rebuildRedis() The patch adds allowMethod(['post']) to each action, preventing them from being triggered through ordinary GET requests. For purgeUnusedPictures(), the corresponding UI previously used $.get(). The fix converts that request to POST and supplies X-CSRF-Token, while the controller enables header-only CSRF validation for that AJAX action. Because GET requests can be induced cross-origin through links, images, redirects, or navigation, accepting GET for these state-changing operations can let an attacker trigger them using the authenticated victim's session. The 3D FlipBook – PDF Embedder, PDF Flipbook Viewer, Flipbook Image Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.16.20 via the 'id' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including the full metadata payload of password-protected flipbooks — including title, outline, props, and the serialized data blob containing the underlying PDF file's direct URL — bypassing WordPress post-password confidentiality. Flipbook post IDs can be pre-enumerated via the also-unauthenticated fb3d_send_posts AJAX action, requiring no prior knowledge to target specific flipbooks.

Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CWE-306) in the checkout session lookup handler (src/app/api/stripe/checkout_sessions/route.ts), exposed at GET /api/stripe/checkout_sessions, in MarcosCamara01 Ecommerce Template before commit 91e273c allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker holding a valid Stripe Checkout Session id (cs_...) to retrieve the full session object, including the buyer's name, email, phone, billing address, amount paid and internal userId, because the GET handler calls stripe.checkout.sessions.retrieve() and returns the result without checking for an authenticated session or session ownership. Sibling endpoints such as POST /api/stripe/payment already enforced authentication via auth.api.getSession(); this endpoint had no access control whatsoever. The session_id is exposed in the buyer's own browser URL after payment (success_url = /result?session_id={CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID}), so it leaks through Referer headers, analytics tools, server access logs and shared-machine browser history, resulting in disclosure of the buyer's personal data to an unauthenticated actor.

OpenTelemetry, also known as OTel, is a vendor-neutral open source Observability framework for instrumenting, generating, collecting, and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. Prior to 0.154.0, the Sentry exporter reads the remote OTLP sender-controlled service.name resource attribute in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_exporter.go through extractProjectSlug and getOrCreateProjectEndpoint, passes the raw project slug to GetOTLPEndpoints and GetProjectKeys in exporter/sentryexporter/sentry_client.go, and interpolates it into a Sentry API URL without applying projectSlugRegexp through validateRoutingConfig at runtime in exporter/sentryexporter/config.go. Special characters can turn the expected path suffix into query data in all deployments or introduce slash and dot segments that traverse paths when the Sentry deployment normalizes them, while the Collector attaches its operator-configured bearer token to the request. A successful request can reach token-authorized administrative, organization, member, or key endpoints within the configured Sentry organization, and an attacker-controlled project slug can redirect subsequently exported telemetry.
