Aug 28, 2026mapfish-print is a component of MapFish for printing templated cartographic maps.CVE-2026-55848 · Other software · mapfish · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
mapfish-print is a component of MapFish for printing templated cartographic maps. Prior to 3.28.30, 3.30.32, 3.31.24, 3.33.16, and 4.0.5, MapFish Print accepts an attacker-controlled GML layer url in requests to the /api/print3/print endpoint and fetches XML parsed by core/src/main/java/org/mapfish/print/map/geotools/GmlLayer.java without disabling external entities and external DTDs. A remote XML document and DTD can expand a local file entity, and the resulting content can be exposed through the GML parsing and error path. This allows unauthenticated attackers to read files such as operating-system account data, Kubernetes service-account tokens, and certificates. Replacing the file entity target with an internal HTTP endpoint also permits server-side request forgery. This issue is fixed in versions 3.28.30, 3.30.32, 3.31.24, 3.33.16, and 4.0.5.

Aug 28, 2026wolfEngine before 1.4.1 sources the explicit AES-CCM nonce for TLS 1.2 and DTLS 1.2 records from the record input buffer instead of the TLS sequence number carrCVE-2026-81341 · Other software · wolfSSL Inc. · reported by facts@wolfssl.comMedium 6.5
wolfEngine before 1.4.1 sources the explicit AES-CCM nonce for TLS 1.2 and DTLS 1.2 records from the record input buffer instead of the TLS sequence number carried in the additional authenticated data. Because the record layer leaves the explicit-nonce field for the cipher to populate, the value read is constant across records, so every AES-CCM record within a connection is encrypted under an identical key and nonce pair. Reusing a CCM key and nonce weakens confidentiality (identical keystream across records, so a known record recovers the others) and integrity (authentication tag forgery). Only wolfEngine is affected; wolfProvider is not. AES-GCM under wolfEngine is tracked separately. AES-CCM cipher suites are not enabled by default and must be explicitly selected, which limits exposure. TLS 1.3 and non-TLS use of the cipher are not affected.

Aug 27, 2026Frappe 15.11.0 through 16.32.0 stores and renders the workspace card description without XSS filtering.CVE-2026-81731 · Other software · frappe · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1
Frappe 15.11.0 through 16.32.0 stores and renders the workspace card description without XSS filtering. The description field of the Workspace Link doctype is declared with "ignore_xss_filter": 1 in frappe/desk/doctype/workspace_link/workspace_link.json, and _sanitize_content() in frappe/model/base_document.py skips any field carrying that flag, so the value is stored exactly as submitted. frappe.desk.desktop.get_desktop_page returns it unchanged, and LinksWidget.set_body() in frappe/public/js/frappe/widgets/links_widget.js interpolates it into a Bootstrap popover created with html: true, by way of the __() translation helper, which performs no HTML escaping. A user holding the Workspace Manager role can therefore place arbitrary markup in a public workspace's card description and have it execute in the session of any desk user who opens that workspace and hovers the description, including higher-privileged users, allowing session token theft and authenticated requests as the victim. The flag is removed on the development branch but remains present in the shipped 15.x and 16.x release lines, so no released version carries the fix.

Aug 26, 2026GROWI applies its page-viewer permission check to attachment requests only when the request carries an authenticated user.CVE-2026-80191 · Other software · GROWI, Inc. · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
GROWI applies its page-viewer permission check to attachment requests only when the request carries an authenticated user. retrieveAttachmentFromIdParam in apps/app/src/server/routes/attachment/get.ts guards the check with a condition requiring the user to be non-null, so a request that carries no session skips the check entirely and the handler returns the file. The routes reached this way, /attachment/:id and /download/:id, take the attachment identifier from the path, so an unauthenticated caller who has an attachment identifier receives the file regardless of whether the page owning it is private and regardless of whether that caller would be permitted to view the page. Identifiers can be retained by a user whose access was later removed, or recovered from anywhere the identifier was previously exposed. Version 8.0.2 runs the check for authenticated and unauthenticated requests alike, skipping it only where a valid share link has already bound the requested file to that link's page.

Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: aspeed: lpc-snoop: Fix usercopy overflow in snoop_file_read put_fifo_with_discard() aCVE-2026-74729 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: aspeed: lpc-snoop: Fix usercopy overflow in snoop_file_read put_fifo_with_discard() acts as both producer and consumer on the kfifo: it calls kfifo_skip() (advances out) and kfifo_put() (advances in) from the IRQ handler without synchronizing with snoop_file_read(), which also consumes via kfifo_to_user(). On SMP systems this concurrent access can leave (in - out) larger than the ring buffer, so __kfifo_to_user()'s clamp to (in - out) is ineffective and kfifo_copy_to_user() can attempt a copy_to_user() past the kmalloc-2k backing store: usercopy: Kernel memory exposure attempt detected from SLUB object 'kmalloc-2k' (offset 0, size 2049)! kernel BUG at mm/usercopy.c! Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: ipheth: fix carrier_work UAF on disconnect ipheth_sndbulk_callback() re-arms theCVE-2026-74677 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: ipheth: fix carrier_work UAF on disconnect ipheth_sndbulk_callback() re-arms the carrier-check work on any non-zero URB status: else schedule_delayed_work(&dev->carrier_work, 0); Nothing ties that to the interface being up, so the work can be armed again after ipheth_close() has already drained it, and stay armed until the netdev whose private area embeds it is freed. On unplug with a TX URB in flight, ipheth_disconnect() drains the work through unregister_netdev() -> ipheth_close() -> cancel_delayed_work_sync() and only then calls ipheth_kill_urbs(). usb_kill_urb() completes the in-flight TX URB with -ENOENT, so ipheth_sndbulk_callback() runs after the drain and re-arms carrier_work. The same completion also re-arms the work if the interface is only brought down while a TX URB is in flight, and ipheth_carrier_check_work() then keeps re-queueing itself once a second. unregister_netdev() does not call ipheth_close() for an already-down interface, so nothing drains it on the later unplug either. In both cases free_netdev() frees the netdev while carrier_work is still pending, and ipheth_carrier_ch

Aug 19, 2026The IPv6 neighbor-discovery code in subsys/net/ip/ipv6_nbr.c processes the 6LoWPAN Context Option (6CO, RFC 6775) carried inside ICMPv6 Router Advertisements.CVE-2026-12633 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 8.1
The IPv6 neighbor-discovery code in subsys/net/ip/ipv6_nbr.c processes the 6LoWPAN Context Option (6CO, RFC 6775) carried inside ICMPv6 Router Advertisements. In handle_ra_6co() the 8-bit context_len field is taken directly from the packet and was never bounded to the RFC maximum of 128. The function computes context->context_len / 8 and then performs memset(context->prefix + context_len, 0, sizeof(context->prefix) - context_len), where context->prefix is a fixed 16-byte array. With context_len between 136 and 255 (and the option length field set to 3, which the pre-fix validation accepts), context_len / 8 evaluates to 17..31, so the memset length 16 - context_len/8 underflows the unsigned size_t argument to roughly SIZE_MAX. This produces an unbounded out-of-bounds memset that zeroes kernel memory well past the 6lo context structure. The defect is reachable from unauthenticated, link-local input: any host on the same link can send a crafted Router Advertisement with a 6CO option. The RA handler validates only the option length field before calling handle_ra_6co(), so a single packet triggers the wild write. The code is compiled when CONFIG_NET_6LO_CONTEXT is enabled. The impact

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: um: vector: fix use-after-free in vector_mmsg_rx() When vector_mmsg_rx() discards a packet whose overlay header fails verify_header(), it frees the skb and continues the loop: if (header_check < 0) { dev_kfree_skb_irq(skb); vp->estats.rx_encaps_errors++; continue; } The normal and short-packet paths fall through to the bottom of the loop body, which clears the consumed slot and advances the cursors: (*skbuff_vector) = NULL; mmsg_vector++; skbuff_vector++; The verify_header() < 0 path skips that via continue, so the freed skb is left in skbuff_vector[] and the cursors do not advance. The next iteration reads the same slot, gets the freed skb, and frees it again, producing a refcount underflow / use-after-free in the RX path. Discard the slot the same way the other paths do before continuing. Only transports whose verify_header() can return negative are affected: GRE and L2TPv3 do so on a cookie/session-id mismatch (raw/tap do not), so any peer on such a transport can trigger it without authentication.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: fix writes_pending and barrier reference leaks on discard failures raid10_make_request() acquires a writes_pending reference with md_write_start() before calling raid10_handle_discard(). Several failure paths in raid10_handle_discard() complete the bio and return without releasing the corresponding reference, causing md_write_end() to be skipped. Call md_write_end() before returning from these failure paths to keep writes_pending accounting balanced. Additionally, discard split allocation failures can occur after wait_barrier() succeeds. Those paths return without calling allow_barrier(), leaking the associated barrier reference. Release the barrier before returning from those paths.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: validate resident index root values on lookup Resident $INDEX_ROOT values carry index header fields that callers consume after lookup. Some callers already validate parts of the layout before walking entries, but those checks are scattered and do not cover all root header invariants, such as entries_offset alignment and lower bound, index_length, and allocated_size consistency. The resident root resize paths now keep these header fields consistent while the value size changes: ntfs_ir_truncate() lowers index.allocated_size before shrinking the resident value, and ntfs_ir_reparent() grows the resident value before publishing a larger root header. Lookup-time validation can therefore cover these invariants without tripping over the driver's own resize paths. Add $INDEX_ROOT to the minimum resident value size table and validate the resident index header fields before returning the attribute from lookup. Require 8-byte aligned index header fields, a sane entries_offset, an index_length within allocated_size, allocated_size within the resident value, and enough entry space for at least an index entry header.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memstick: ms_block: reject a card that reports too many blocks msb_ftl_initialize() computCVE-2026-68478 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memstick: ms_block: reject a card that reports too many blocks msb_ftl_initialize() computes the zone count from the card block count with no bound: msb->zone_count = msb->block_count / MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE; ... for (i = 0; i < msb->zone_count; i++) msb->free_block_count[i] = MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE; msb->block_count is a card value. msb_read_boot_blocks() reads number_of_blocks from the card boot page and byte swaps it. free_block_count is a fixed int[MS_MAX_ZONES]. MS_MAX_ZONES is 16, so the valid indices are 0 to 15. The init loop above indexes it by zone_count. msb_mark_block_used() and msb_mark_block_unused() index it by pba / MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE, for pba up to block_count - 1. A card may report up to 65535 blocks. A block_count above 8192 (MS_MAX_ZONES * MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE) lets the pba index reach 16. That writes past free_block_count[] and corrupts struct msb_data. A larger count runs the init loop past the end too. A real Memory Stick has at most 16 zones. So it has at most 8192 blocks. msb_ftl_initialize() now rejects a card that reports more than MS_MAX_ZONES * MS_BLOCKS_IN_ZONE blocks.

Aug 15, 2026KiviCare – Clinic & Patient Management System (EHR): Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-15453 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The KiviCare – Clinic & Patient Management System (EHR) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'searchTerm' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires a KiviCare custom role with the 'settings_view' permission (e.g., Doctor or Receptionist), meaning standard WordPress subscribers cannot exploit this without a KiviCare-assigned role.

Aug 13, 2026Uncontrolled Recursion (CWE-674) in the Elasticsearch wildcard matching helper can lead to a denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130).CVE-2026-72636 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 6.5
Uncontrolled Recursion (CWE-674) in the Elasticsearch wildcard matching helper can lead to a denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). The matcher used to resolve wildcard patterns against names is implemented recursively and had no bound on recursion depth or on the total number of match operations performed. A search request containing a wildcard pattern with a large number of wildcard groups, evaluated against a sufficiently long name, exhausts the thread stack. Elasticsearch treats a stack overflow as an unrecoverable condition and shuts the node down, so the request terminates the affected node rather than failing gracefully.
