Mar 30, 2026CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support.CVE-2026-34558 · Other software · ci4-cms-erp · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to version 0.31.0.0, the application fails to properly sanitize user-controlled input within the Methods Management functionality when creating or managing application methods/pages. Multiple input fields accept attacker-controlled JavaScript payloads that are stored server-side without sanitization or output encoding. These stored values are later rendered directly into administrative interfaces and global navigation components without proper encoding, resulting in Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This issue has been patched in version 0.31.0.0.

CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to version 0.31.0.0, the application fails to properly sanitize user-controlled input within group and role management functionality. Multiple input fields (three distinct group-related fields) can be injected with malicious JavaScript payloads, which are then stored server-side. These stored payloads are later rendered unsafely within privileged administrative views without proper output encoding, leading to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) within the role and permission management context. This issue has been patched in version 0.31.0.0.

Mar 27, 2026LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links.CVE-2026-33954 · Other software · Kovah · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. In versions prior to 2.5.3, a private note attached to a non-private link can be disclosed to a different authenticated user via the web interface. The API appears to correctly enforce note visibility, but the web link detail page renders notes without applying equivalent visibility filtering. As a result, an authenticated user who is allowed to view another user's `internal` or `public` link can read that user's `private` notes attached to the link. Version 2.5.3 patches the issue.

LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Versions prior to 2.5.3 block direct requests to private IP literals, but still performs server-side requests to internal-only resources when those resources are referenced through an internal hostname. Mar 20, 2026tar-rs is a tar archive reading/writing library for Rust.CVE-2026-33056 · Other software · alexcrichton · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
tar-rs is a tar archive reading/writing library for Rust. In versions 0.4.44 and below, when unpacking a tar archive, the tar crate's unpack_dir function uses fs::metadata() to check whether a path that already exists is a directory. Because fs::metadata() follows symbolic links, a crafted tarball containing a symlink entry followed by a directory entry with the same name causes the crate to treat the symlink target as a valid existing directory — and subsequently apply chmod to it. This allows an attacker to modify the permissions of arbitrary directories outside the extraction root. This issue has been fixed in version 0.4.45.

Mar 20, 2026tar-rs is a tar archive reading/writing library for Rust.CVE-2026-33055 · Other software · alexcrichton · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
tar-rs is a tar archive reading/writing library for Rust. Versions 0.4.44 and below have conditional logic that skips the PAX size header in cases where the base header size is nonzero. As part of CVE-2025-62518, the astral-tokio-tar project was changed to correctly honor PAX size headers in the case where it was different from the base header. This is almost the inverse of the astral-tokio-tar issue. Any discrepancy in how tar parsers honor file size can be used to create archives that appear differently when unpacked by different archivers. In this case, the tar-rs (Rust tar) crate is an outlier in checking for the header size - other tar parsers (including e.g. Go archive/tar) unconditionally use the PAX size override. This can affect anything that uses the tar crate to parse archives and expects to have a consistent view with other parsers. This issue has been fixed in version 0.4.45.

Mar 19, 2026astral-tokio-tar is a tar archive reading/writing library for async Rust.CVE-2026-32766 · Other software · astral-sh · reported by GitHubLow 1.7
astral-tokio-tar is a tar archive reading/writing library for async Rust. In versions 0.5.6 and earlier, malformed PAX extensions were silently skipped when parsing tar archives. This silent skipping (rather than rejection) of invalid PAX extensions could be used as a building block for a parser differential, for example by silently skipping a malformed GNU “long link” extension so that a subsequent parser would misinterpret the extension. In practice, exploiting this behavior in astral-tokio-tar requires a secondary misbehaving tar parser, i.e. one that insufficiently validates malformed PAX extensions and interprets them rather than skipping or erroring on them. This vulnerability is considered low-severity as it requires a separate vulnerability against any unrelated tar parser. This issue has been fixed in version 0.6.0.

A flaw was identified in the RAR5 archive decompression logic of the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_data() processing path. When a specially crafted RAR5 archive is processed, the decompression routine may enter a state where internal logic prevents forward progress. This condition results in an infinite loop that continuously consumes CPU resources. Because the archive passes checksum validation and appears structurally valid, affected applications cannot detect the issue before processing. This can allow attackers to cause persistent denial-of-service conditions in services that automatically process archives.

Feb 27, 2026MailArchiver: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-2831 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9
The MailArchiver plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the ‘logid’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

Feb 26, 2026Junrar is an open source java RAR archive library.CVE-2026-28208 · Other software · junrar · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Junrar is an open source java RAR archive library. Prior to version 7.5.8, a backslash path traversal vulnerability in `LocalFolderExtractor` allows an attacker to write arbitrary files with attacker-controlled content anywhere on the filesystem when a crafted RAR archive is extracted on Linux/Unix. This can often lead to remote code execution (e.g., overwriting shell profiles, source code, cron jobs, etc). Version 7.5.8 has a fix for the issue.

Feb 25, 2026Zed, a code editor, has a Zip Slip (Path Traversal) vulnerability exists in its extension archive extraction functionality prior to version 0.224.4.CVE-2026-27800 · Other software · zed-industries · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
Zed, a code editor, has a Zip Slip (Path Traversal) vulnerability exists in its extension archive extraction functionality prior to version 0.224.4. The `extract_zip()` function in `crates/util/src/archive.rs` fails to validate ZIP entry filenames for path traversal sequences (e.g., `../`). This allows a malicious extension to write files outside its designated sandbox directory by downloading and extracting a crafted ZIP archive. Version 0.224.4 fixes the issue.

Feb 25, 2026NanaZip is an open source file archive.CVE-2026-27711 · Other software · M2Team · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
NanaZip is an open source file archive. Starting in version 5.0.1252.0 and prior to versions 6.0.1638.0 and 6.5.1638.0, a memory corruption vulnerability in NanaZip’s UFS parser allows a crafted `.ufs/.ufs2/.img` file to trigger out-of-bounds memory access during archive open/listing. The bug is reachable via normal user file-open flow and can cause process crash, hang, and potentially exploitable heap corruption. Versions 6.0.1638.0 and 6.5.1638.0 fix the issue.

Feb 24, 2026bit7z is a cross-platform C++ static library that allows the compression/extraction of archive files.CVE-2026-27117 · Other software · rikyoz · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5
bit7z is a cross-platform C++ static library that allows the compression/extraction of archive files. Prior to version 4.0.11, a path traversal vulnerability ("Zip Slip") exists in bit7z's archive extraction functionality. The library does not adequately validate file paths contained in archive entries, allowing files to be written outside the intended extraction directory through three distinct mechanisms: relative path traversal, absolute path traversal, and symbolic link traversal. An attacker can exploit this by providing a malicious archive to any application that uses bit7z to extract untrusted archives. Successful exploitation results in arbitrary file write with the privileges of the process performing the extraction. This could lead to overwriting of application binaries, configuration files, or other sensitive data. The vulnerability does not directly enable reading of file contents; the confidentiality impact is limited to the calling application's own behavior after extraction. However, applications that subsequently serve or display extracted files may face secondary confidentiality risks from attacker-created symlinks. Fixes have been released in version 4.0.11. If up

Feb 21, 2026LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links.CVE-2026-27458 · Other software · Kovah · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Versions 2.4.2 and below have a Stored Cross-site Scripting vulnerability through the Atom feed endpoint for lists (/lists/feed). An authenticated user can inject a CDATA-breaking payload into a list description that escapes the XML CDATA section, injects a native SVG element into the Atom XML document, and executes arbitrary JavaScript directly in the browser when the feed URL is visited. No RSS reader or additional rendering context is required — the browser's native XML parser processes the injected SVG and fires the onload event handler. This vulnerability exists because the lists feed template outputs list descriptions using Blade's raw syntax ({!! !!}) without sanitization inside a CDATA block. The critical detail is that because the output sits inside <![CDATA[...]]>, an attacker can inject the sequence ]]> to close the CDATA section prematurely, then inject arbitrary XML/SVG elements that the browser parses and executes natively as part of the Atom document. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.3.
