May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-async: Fix error handling on steps after finding a match Once an async connectCVE-2026-43189 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-async: Fix error handling on steps after finding a match Once an async connection is found to be matching with an fwnode, a sub-device may be registered (in case it wasn't already), its bound operation is called, ancillary links are created, the async connection is added to the sub-device's list of connections and removed from the global waiting connection list. Further on, the sub-device's possible own notifier is searched for possible additional matches. Fix these specific issues: - If v4l2_async_match_notify() failed before the sub-notifier handling, the async connection was unbound and its entry removed from the sub-device's async connection list. The latter part was also done in v4l2_async_match_notify(). - The async connection's sd field was only set after creating ancillary links in v4l2_async_match_notify(). It was however dereferenced in v4l2_async_unbind_subdev_one(), which was called on error path of v4l2_async_match_notify() failure.

May 5, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: handle wraparound when searching for blocks for indirect mapped blocks Commit 4865c7CVE-2026-43067 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: handle wraparound when searching for blocks for indirect mapped blocks Commit 4865c768b563 ("ext4: always allocate blocks only from groups inode can use") restricts what blocks will be allocated for indirect block based files to block numbers that fit within 32-bit block numbers. However, when using a review bot running on the latest Gemini LLM to check this commit when backporting into an LTS based kernel, it raised this concern: If ac->ac_g_ex.fe_group is >= ngroups (for instance, if the goal group was populated via stream allocation from s_mb_last_groups), then start will be >= ngroups. Does this allow allocating blocks beyond the 32-bit limit for indirect block mapped files? The commit message mentions that ext4_mb_scan_groups_linear() takes care to not select unsupported groups. However, its loop uses group = *start, and the very first iteration will call ext4_mb_scan_group() with this unsupported group because next_linear_group() is only called at the end of the iteration. After reviewing the code paths involved and considering the LLM review, I determined that this c

Apr 27, 2026JmsBinding.extractBodyFromJms() in camel-jms, and the equivalent JmsBinding class in camel-sjms, deserialized the payload of incoming JMS ObjectMessage values vCVE-2026-40860 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.8
JmsBinding.extractBodyFromJms() in camel-jms, and the equivalent JmsBinding class in camel-sjms, deserialized the payload of incoming JMS ObjectMessage values via javax.jms.ObjectMessage.getObject() without applying any ObjectInputFilter, class allowlist or class denylist. Because this code path is reached whenever the mapJmsMessage option is enabled (the default) and Camel acts as a JMS consumer, an attacker able to publish a crafted ObjectMessage to a queue or topic consumed by a Camel application could achieve remote code execution when a deserialization gadget chain was present on the classpath. The same handling was reached transitively through camel-sjms2 (whose Sjms2Endpoint extends SjmsEndpoint) and through camel-amqp (whose AMQPJmsBinding extends JmsBinding), and by other JMS-family components built on JmsComponent such as camel-activemq and camel-activemq6. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 3.0.0 before 4.14.7, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.2, from 4.19.0 before 4.20.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.0, which fixes the issue. Apr 24, 2026rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language.CVE-2026-41898 · Other software · rust-openssl · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.9.24 to before 0.10.78, the FFI trampolines behind SslContextBuilder::set_psk_client_callback, set_psk_server_callback, set_cookie_generate_cb, and set_stateless_cookie_generate_cb forwarded the user closure's returned usize directly to OpenSSL without checking it against the &mut [u8] that was handed to the closure. This can lead to buffer overflows and other unintended consequences. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.10.78.

Apr 24, 2026rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language.CVE-2026-41681 · Other software · rust-openssl · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.10.39 to before 0.10.78, EVP_DigestFinal() always writes EVP_MD_CTX_size(ctx) to the out buffer. If out is smaller than that, MdCtxRef::digest_final() writes past its end, usually corrupting the stack. This is reachable from safe Rust. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.10.78.

Apr 24, 2026rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language.CVE-2026-41678 · Other software · rust-openssl · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From to before 0.10.78, aes::unwrap_key() contains an incorrect assertion: it checks that out.len() + 8 <= in_.len(), but this condition is reversed. The intended invariant is out.len() >= in_.len() - 8, ensuring the output buffer is large enough. Because of the inverted check, the function only accepts buffers at or below the minimum required size and rejects larger ones. If a smaller buffer is provided the function will write past the end of out by in_.len() - 8 - out.len() bytes, causing an out-of-bounds write from a safe public function. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.10.78.

Apr 24, 2026rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language.CVE-2026-41676 · Other software · rust-openssl · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.9.27 to before 0.10.78, Deriver::derive (and PkeyCtxRef::derive) sets len = buf.len() and passes it as the in/out length to EVP_PKEY_derive, relying on OpenSSL to honor it. On OpenSSL 1.1.x, X25519, X448, DH and HKDF-extract ignore the incoming *keylen, unconditionally writing the full shared secret (32/56/prime-size bytes). A caller passing a short slice gets a heap/stack overflow from safe code. OpenSSL 3.x providers do check, so this only impacts older OpenSSL. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.10.78.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: clamp SCO altsetting table indices btusb_work() maps the number of active SCO links to USB alternate settings through a three-entry lookup table when CVSD traffic uses transparent voice settings. The lookup currently indexes alts[] with data->sco_num - 1 without first constraining sco_num to the number of available table entries. While the table only defines alternate settings for up to three SCO links, data->sco_num comes from hci_conn_num() and is used directly. Cap the lookup to the last table entry before indexing it so the driver keeps selecting the highest supported alternate setting without reading past alts[].

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: do not expire session on binding failure When a multichannel session binding request fails (e.g. wrong password), the error path unconditionally sets sess->state = SMB2_SESSION_EXPIRED. However, during binding, sess points to the target session looked up via ksmbd_session_lookup_slowpath() -- which belongs to another connection's user. This allows a remote attacker to invalidate any active session by simply sending a binding request with a wrong password (DoS). Fix this by skipping session expiration when the failed request was a binding attempt, since the session does not belong to the current connection. The reference taken by ksmbd_session_lookup_slowpath() is still correctly released via ksmbd_user_session_put().

Apr 7, 2026Issue summary: When a delta CRL that contains a Delta CRL Indicator extension is processed a NULL pointer dereference might happen if the required CRL Number exCVE-2026-28388 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgHigh 7.5
Issue summary: When a delta CRL that contains a Delta CRL Indicator extension is processed a NULL pointer dereference might happen if the required CRL Number extension is missing. Impact summary: A NULL pointer dereference can trigger a crash which leads to a Denial of Service for an application. When CRL processing and delta CRL processing is enabled during X.509 certificate verification, the delta CRL processing does not check whether the CRL Number extension is NULL before dereferencing it. When a malformed delta CRL file is being processed, this parameter can be NULL, causing a NULL pointer dereference. Exploiting this issue requires the X509_V_FLAG_USE_DELTAS flag to be enabled in the verification context, the certificate being verified to contain a freshestCRL extension or the base CRL to have the EXFLAG_FRESHEST flag set, and an attacker to provide a malformed CRL to an application that processes it. The vulnerability is limited to Denial of Service and cannot be escalated to achieve code execution or memory disclosure. For that reason the issue was assessed as Low severity according to our Security Policy. The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3 and 3.0 are not affected

Apr 6, 2026curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl.CVE-2026-33752 · Other software · lexiforest · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl. Prior to 0.15.0, curl_cffi does not restrict requests to internal IP ranges, and follows redirects automatically via the underlying libcurl. Because of this, an attacker-controlled URL can redirect requests to internal services such as cloud metadata endpoints. In addition, curl_cffi’s TLS impersonation feature can make these requests appear as legitimate browser traffic, which may bypass certain network controls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0.

Apr 2, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix constant blinding for PROBE_MEM32 stores BPF_ST | BPF_PROBE_MEM32 immediate storeCVE-2026-23417 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix constant blinding for PROBE_MEM32 stores BPF_ST | BPF_PROBE_MEM32 immediate stores are not handled by bpf_jit_blind_insn(), allowing user-controlled 32-bit immediates to survive unblinded into JIT-compiled native code when bpf_jit_harden >= 1. The root cause is that convert_ctx_accesses() rewrites BPF_ST|BPF_MEM to BPF_ST|BPF_PROBE_MEM32 for arena pointer stores during verification, before bpf_jit_blind_constants() runs during JIT compilation. The blinding switch only matches BPF_ST|BPF_MEM (mode 0x60), not BPF_ST|BPF_PROBE_MEM32 (mode 0xa0). The instruction falls through unblinded. Add BPF_ST|BPF_PROBE_MEM32 cases to bpf_jit_blind_insn() alongside the existing BPF_ST|BPF_MEM cases. The blinding transformation is identical: load the blinded immediate into BPF_REG_AX via mov+xor, then convert the immediate store to a register store (BPF_STX). The rewritten STX instruction must preserve the BPF_PROBE_MEM32 mode so the architecture JIT emits the correct arena addressing (R12-based on x86-64). Cannot use the BPF_STX_MEM() macro here because it hardcodes BPF_MEM mode; construct the instruction directly ins

Captcha Protect is a Traefik middleware to add an anti-bot challenge to individual IPs in a subnet when traffic spikes are detected from that subnet. Prior to version 1.12.2, a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in github.com/libops/captcha-protect. The challenge page accepted a client-supplied destination value and rendered it into HTML using Go's text/template. Because text/template does not perform contextual HTML escaping, an attacker could supply a crafted destination value that breaks out of the hidden input attribute and injects arbitrary script into the challenge page. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/rocket: fix unwinding in error path in rocket_probe When rocket_core_init() fails (as could be the case with EPROBE_DEFER), we need to properly unwind by decrementing the counter we just incremented and if this is the first core we failed to probe, remove the rocket DRM device with rocket_device_fini() as well. This matches the logic in rocket_remove(). Failing to properly unwind results in out-of-bounds accesses.

Mar 24, 2026Intake is a package for finding, investigating, loading and disseminating data.CVE-2026-33310 · Other software · intake · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Intake is a package for finding, investigating, loading and disseminating data. Prior to version 2.0.9, the shell() syntax within parameter default values appears to be automatically expanded during the catalog parsing process. If a catalog contains a parameter default such as shell(<command>), the command may be executed when the catalog source is accessed. This means that if a user loads a malicious catalog YAML, embedded commands could execute on the host system. Version 2.0.9 mitigates the issue by making getshell False by default everywhere.

Mar 23, 2026bcrypt-ruby is a Ruby binding for the OpenBSD bcrypt() password hashing algorithm.CVE-2026-33306 · Other software · bcrypt-ruby · reported by GitHubMedium 4.5
bcrypt-ruby is a Ruby binding for the OpenBSD bcrypt() password hashing algorithm. Prior to version 3.1.22, an integer overflow in the Java BCrypt implementation for JRuby can cause zero iterations in the strengthening loop. Impacted applications must be setting the cost to 31 to see this happen. The JRuby implementation of bcrypt-ruby (`BCrypt.java`) computes the key-strengthening round count as a signed 32-bit integer. When `cost=31` (the maximum allowed by the gem), signed integer overflow causes the round count to become negative, and the strengthening loop executes **zero iterations**. This collapses bcrypt from 2^31 rounds of exponential key-strengthening to effectively constant-time computation — only the initial EksBlowfish key setup and final 64x encryption phase remain. The resulting hash looks valid (`$2a$31$...`) and verifies correctly via `checkpw`, making the weakness invisible to the application. This issue is triggered only when cost=31 is used or when verifying a `$2a$31$` hash. This problem has been fixed in version 3.1.22. As a workaround, set the cost to something less than 31.

Mar 23, 2026Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask.CVE-2026-33046 · Other software · indico · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. In versions prior to 3.3.12, due to vulnerabilities in TeXLive and obscure LaTeX syntax that allowed circumventing Indico's LaTeX sanitizer, it is possible to use specially-crafted LaTeX snippets which can read local files or execute code with the privileges of the user running Indico on the server. Note that if server-side LaTeX rendering is not in use (ie `XELATEX_PATH` was not set in `indico.conf`), this vulnerability does not apply. It is recommended to update to Indico 3.3.12 as soon as possible. It is also strongly recommended to enable the containerized LaTeX renderer (using `podman`), which isolates it from the rest of the system. As a workaround, remove the `XELATEX_PATH` setting from `indico.conf` (or comment it out or set it to `None`) and restart the `indico-uwsgi` and `indico-celery` services to disable LaTeX functionality.

Any guest issuing a Xenstore command accessing a node using the (illegal) node path "/local/domain/", will crash xenstored due to a clobbered error indicator in xenstored when verifying the node path. Note that the crash is forced via a failing assert() statement in xenstored. In case xenstored is being built with NDEBUG #defined, an unprivileged guest trying to access the node path "/local/domain/" will result in it no longer being serviced by xenstored, other guests (including dom0) will still be serviced, but xenstored will use up all cpu time it can get.

Mar 19, 2026UltraJSON is a fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+.CVE-2026-32875 · Other software · ultrajson · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
UltraJSON is a fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+. Versions 5.10 through 5.11.0 are vulnerable to buffer overflow or infinite loop through large indent handling. ujson.dumps() crashes the Python interpreter (segmentation fault) when the product of the indent parameter and the nested depth of the input exceeds INT32_MAX. It can also get stuck in an infinite loop if the indent is a large negative number. Both are caused by an integer overflow/underflow whilst calculating how much memory to reserve for indentation. And both can be used to achieve denial of service. To be vulnerable, a service must call ujson.dump()/ujson.dumps()/ujson.encode() whilst giving untrusted users control over the indent parameter and not restrict that indentation to reasonably small non-negative values. A service may also be vulnerable to the infinite loop if it uses a fixed negative indent. An underflow always occurs for any negative indent when the input data is at least one level nested but, for small negative indents, the underflow is usually accidentally rectified by another overflow. This issue has been fixed in version 5.12.0.

Mar 19, 2026UltraJSON is a fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+.CVE-2026-32874 · Other software · ultrajson · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
UltraJSON is a fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+. Versions 5.4.0 through 5.11.0 contain an accumulating memory leak in JSON parsing large (outside of the range [-2^63, 2^64 - 1]) integers. The leaked memory is a copy of the string form of the integer plus an additional NULL byte. The leak occurs irrespective of whether the integer parses successfully or is rejected due to having more than sys.get_int_max_str_digits() digits, meaning that any sized leak per malicious JSON can be achieved provided that there is no limit on the overall size of the payload. Any service that calls ujson.load()/ujson.loads()/ujson.decode() on untrusted inputs is affected and vulnerable to denial of service attacks. This issue has been fixed in version 5.12.0.

Feb 27, 2026Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask.CVE-2026-28352 · Other software · indico · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. In versions prior to 3.3.11, the API endpoint used to manage event series is missing an access check, allowing unauthenticated/unauthorized access to this endpoint. The impact of this is limited to getting the metadata (title, category chain, start/end date) for events in an existing series, deleting an existing event series, and modifying an existing event series. This vulnerability does NOT allow unauthorized access to events (beyond the basic metadata mentioned above), nor any kind of tampering with user-visible data in events. Version 3.3.11 fixes the issue. As a workaround, use the webserver to restrict access to the series management API endpoint.

Feb 19, 2026Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask.CVE-2026-25739 · Other software · indico · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. Versions prior to 3.3.10 are vulnerable to cross-site scripting when uploading certain file types as materials. Users should upgrade to version 3.3.10 to receive a patch. To apply the fix itself updating is sufficient, but to benefit from the strict Content Security Policy (CSP) Indico now applies by default for file downloads, update the webserver config in case one uses nginx with Indico's `STATIC_FILE_METHOD` set to `xaccelredirect`. For further directions, consult the GitHub Security advisory or Indico setup documentation. Some workarounds are available. Use the webserver config to apply a strict CSP for material download endpoints, and/or only let trustworthy users create content (including material uploads, which speakers can typically do as well) on Indico.

Feb 19, 2026Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask.CVE-2026-25738 · Other software · indico · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. Versions prior to 3.3.10 are vulnerable to server-side request forgery. Indico makes outgoing requests to user-provides URLs in various places. This is mostly intentional and part of Indico's functionality but is never intended to let users access "special" targets such as localhost or cloud metadata endpoints. Users should upgrade to version 3.3.10 to receive a patch. Those who do not have IPs that expose sensitive data without authentication (typically because they do not host Indico on AWS) are not affected. Only event organizers can access endpoints where SSRF could be used to actually see the data returned by such a request. For those who trust their event organizers, the risk is also very limited. For additional security, both before and after patching, one may also use the common proxy-related environment variables (in particular `http_proxy` and `https_proxy`) to force outgoing requests to go through a proxy that limits requests in whatever way you deem useful/necessary. These environment variables would need to be set both on the indico-uwsgi and indico-celery s

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hv_netvsc: reject RSS hash key programming without RX indirection table RSS configuration requires a valid RX indirection table. When the device reports a single receive queue, rndis_filter_device_add() does not allocate an indirection table, accepting RSS hash key updates in this state leads to a hang. Fix this by gating netvsc_set_rxfh() on ndc->rx_table_sz and return -EOPNOTSUPP when the table is absent. This aligns set_rxfh with the device capabilities and prevents incorrect behavior.
