  • Sep 22, 2026A heap-based buffer overflow was found in the DHCPv6 and TFTP response builders of libslirp.CVE-2026-95508 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.4

A heap-based buffer overflow was found in the DHCPv6 and TFTP response builders of libslirp. When the host is configured with a small interface MTU, a guest-supplied DHCPv6 CLIENTID option or TFTP blksize option can overflow the reply buffer with attacker-controlled content and length, resulting in denial of service and potentially arbitrary code execution in the host process. The default interface MTU is not affected.

  • Sep 21, 2026Dancer2 versions before 2.2.0 for Perl do not strip CR and LF from response header names in headers_to_array.CVE-2026-93711 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 6.5

Dancer2 versions before 2.2.0 for Perl do not strip CR and LF from response header names in headers_to_array. The routine removes CR and LF from each header value but not from the name. A name carrying them therefore reaches the PSGI server intact. A server that does not validate keys writes it to the wire, so the bytes after the CRLF arrive as their own header line. The application has to derive the header name from request data, not just the value. An attacker who controls that data adds their own headers and splits the response.

  • Sep 21, 2026Dancer2 versions from 2.0.0 before 2.2.0 for Perl dispatch a route that a dying hook refused when the exception handler halts the response in compile_hooks.CVE-2026-93710 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

Dancer2 versions from 2.0.0 before 2.2.0 for Perl dispatch a route that a dying hook refused when the exception handler halts the response in compile_hooks. A hook that dies fires core.app.hook_exception, then calls cleanup unless the failing hook is the exception handler. A handler that halts does not stop that cleanup, which discards the request, response and session the dispatcher has yet to read, so the refused route runs. The handler has to halt the response object by calling its halt method or setting is_halted: the halt keyword unwinds through with_return before cleanup runs. A check in a before hook is not enforced: the caller gets the refusal, while the route body runs and its writes land.

  • Sep 21, 2026The Espressif ESP-hosted Wi-Fi driver (drivers/wifi/esp_hosted/) parses frames received over SPI from the ESP co-processor in esp_hosted_event_task().CVE-2026-17054 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.3

The Espressif ESP-hosted Wi-Fi driver (drivers/wifi/esp_hosted/) parses frames received over SPI from the ESP co-processor in esp_hosted_event_task(). For control frames it took the 16-bit TLV field data_length straight off the wire and passed it to pb_istream_from_buffer(frame.data_value, frame.data_length) without checking it against the frame length or the receive buffer. frame.data_value sits 26 bytes into a 3188-byte stack object, so a data_length of up to 0xFFFF makes pb_decode() read up to roughly 62 KB past the end of that object. Only the first fragment of a fragmented control response carries a TLV header; the pre-fix driver performed half-duplex SPI transactions and silently discarded any frame the co-processor queued while the host was transmitting (esp_hosted_hal_spi_transfer() aliased the RX buffer onto the TX buffer). When the discarded frame is the first fragment of a fragmented response, the driver treats the next fragment as a new frame — its per-fragment header and checksum are genuine, so both validation steps pass — and reads the TLV header out of raw protobuf continuation bytes. Those bytes come from control responses whose size and content an adjacent, unaut

  • Sep 21, 2026temporalio/sqlparser accepts SQL containing deeply nested unary expressions and can return a correspondingly deep abstract syntax tree without enforcing an applCVE-2026-65651 · Other software · Temporal Technologies, Inc. · reported by security@temporal.ioHigh 8.7

temporalio/sqlparser accepts SQL containing deeply nested unary expressions and can return a correspondingly deep abstract syntax tree without enforcing an applicable nesting limit. The library's String and Walk operations recursively traverse that tree. An application that parses attacker-controlled SQL and later formats or walks the returned tree can encounter a runtime-fatal Go stack overflow that terminates the process; Go panic recovery cannot contain this condition. Temporal Server passes caller-controlled query input through the affected parser in archival, visibility, and worker-query paths. In affected validation paths, the Server recursively formats an invalid expression while constructing an error. In a supported authenticated deployment, a caller with namespace read permission can terminate the receiving Frontend or Matching process. The dynamically confirmed ListWorkers route additionally requires at least one retained worker heartbeat. Repeated requests can sustain a denial of service. The issue affects availability only; no confidentiality or integrity impact was identified.

UrlUtil.getBaseUrl builds the absolute URLs in a response — download links, icons, asset and API URLs — from the X-Forwarded-Host, X-Forwarded-Proto and X-Forwarded-Prefix request headers, with no check on whether the sender was a trusted proxy, falling back to the client-supplied Host header. Those responses are cached under keys that do not include the host (extension.json since 0.6.0, namespace.details.json since 0.9.0, sitemap since 0.14.5, latest.extension.version.vscode since 0.34.2). A single request carrying a forged header therefore places attacker-chosen URLs into an entry served to every other client for the lifetime of that entry — one hour by default, and cluster-wide where ovsx.redis.enabled is set. The VSIX download URL, its signature URL and the public key URL are all derived from the same base URL, so extension signing does not limit the impact: an attacker who poisons an entry supplies the

  • Sep 19, 2026Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchroCVE-2026-82672 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchronize a strict intermediary and the Mint client on a pooled connection, enabling response-queue poisoning against subsequent requests that share the connection. Mint.HTTP1.Parse.chunk_size/1 in lib/mint/http1/parse.ex stops at the first non-hexadecimal byte of a chunked response's chunk-size line and returns the remainder unexamined. Mint.HTTP1.decode_body/5 in lib/mint/http1.ex then discards every byte up to the CRLF with Parse.ignore_until_crlf/1, so the accepted grammar is a run of hex digits followed by arbitrary bytes, where RFC 9112 permits only a ;-introduced chunk extension. Lines such as 5ZZZZZ and 5 9 are accepted as chunk size 5, and 0ZZZZ is accepted as the terminating chunk that ends the message body. An RFC-strict intermediary rejects such a line while Mint accepts it, so the two disagree on chunk boundaries and on where the response ends. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.10.1.

  • Sep 19, 2026LiteSpeed Cache: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-76579 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.7

The LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'esi' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires that the attacker supply a validly signed 'esi' value in the GET query string while submitting a separate attacker-controlled 'esi' payload as a POST body field, relying on PHP's default $_REQUEST merge order to have the POST value take precedence at the point of execution.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/chrome: sensorhub: Fix memory overread in ring handler `max_response` and `sensor_num` are read from different EC commands: - `max_response` is from cros_ec_get_proto_info(). ec_dev->max_response = info->max_response_packet_size - sizeof(struct ec_host_response); - `sensor_num` is from cros_ec_get_sensor_count(). sensor_num = cros_ec_get_sensor_count(ec); With a malfunctioning EC firmware, it is possible that the `msg->insize` (i.e., `fifo_info_length` in the context) could be clamped in cros_ec_cmd_xfer() because `msg->insize` is greater than `max_response`. int fifo_info_length = sizeof(struct ec_response_motion_sense_fifo_info) + sizeof(u16) * sensorhub->sensor_num; This means the number of read bytes could be less than expected. As a result, the subsequent memcpy() in cros_ec_sensorhub_ring_handler() overreads the `resp->fifo_info` buffer. Check the return value of cros_ec_cmd_xfer_status() and abort if the number of bytes read does not match the expected length.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: esp: do not unref managed frag pages in esp_ssg_unref() esp_ssg_unref() releases the page references held on the source scatterlist after the AEAD operation completes. It calls skb_page_unref() on every frag page for an out-of-place transform (req->src != req->dst), and in the error path of esp_output_tail() (already_unref == true) on the request's own scatterlist. This is wrong when the skb carries managed frags (SKBFL_MANAGED_FRAG_REFS). Managed frags are owned by a zerocopy ubuf and the skb does not hold a per-frag page reference; io_uring SEND_ZC with a registered buffer attaches the bvec pages this way via io_sg_from_iter(). The rest of the stack honours this invariant: skb_release_data() skips the per-frag unref when SKBFL_MANAGED_FRAG_REFS is set, and skb_zcopy_managed() is the guard used at the other unref sites. esp_ssg_unref() is missing that guard, so for a managed-frag skb it drops a page reference the skb never acquired. This can underflow the page reference count and free a page that is still in use. Guard the function with skb_zcopy_managed() so both unref paths are skipped for managed-frag

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MSFT: validate evt_prefix_len against the response length read_supported_features() only checks that the response covers the fixed part of struct msft_rp_read_supported_features, which is 11 bytes: if (skb->len < sizeof(*rp)) { bt_dev_err(hdev, "MSFT supported features length mismatch"); goto failed; } evt_prefix[] is a flexible array member and rp->evt_prefix_len is an unvalidated u8 taken straight out of that response, so msft->evt_prefix = kmemdup(rp->evt_prefix, rp->evt_prefix_len, GFP_KERNEL); copies up to 255 bytes from a reply that may have carried none of them. What is copied is data the controller never sent, and it is then used to match incoming vendor events in msft_vendor_evt(). This is not an out-of-bounds access. An skb data allocation always has at least SKB_DATA_ALIGN(sizeof(struct skb_shared_info)) bytes past the payload, which is more than the 255 byte maximum, so the read stays inside the allocation and KASAN does not report it. It is still a read of bytes the host was never given, with the length fully controlled by the controller. Reject a response that is too s

This results in an escape if two transitions through an unconfined profile can be executed. Fix this by pushing the check into the per profile label build. The check will always be done against unconfined and result in a stack of just the unconfined component when necessary.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix slab-out-of-bounds read in ksmbd_alloc_user() ksmbd_alloc_user() copies resp->hash_sz bytes out of the mountd IPC login response with user->passkey_sz = resp->hash_sz; user->passkey = kmalloc(resp->hash_sz, KSMBD_DEFAULT_GFP); if (user->passkey) memcpy(user->passkey, resp->hash, resp->hash_sz); resp->hash_sz is a __u16 supplied by the response, but resp->hash[] is only KSMBD_REQ_MAX_HASH_SZ bytes. A malformed or malicious login response can set hash_sz well beyond that (up to 65535), so the memcpy() reads past the end of the response object. ipc_validate_msg() does not bound hash_sz, so reject any response whose hash_sz exceeds the on-stack hash[] buffer before allocating and copying. • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate ipc response length before dereferencing its fields ipc_validate_msg() comCVE-2026-90170 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate ipc response length before dereferencing its fields ipc_validate_msg() computes the expected message size by reading length fields out of the response buffer supplied by the userspace ksmbd daemon (payload_sz, session_key_len, ngroups, ...). Those fields are read before the buffer is verified to be large enough to contain the struct they belong to, so a short response makes the read land past the end of the allocation. handle_response() sizes entry->response purely from the netlink attribute length (nla_len()) and only guards the leading handle read, so the daemon can install a response as small as the kmalloc-8 object seen below. When ipc_msg_send_request() then calls ipc_validate_msg() for a KSMBD_EVENT_RPC_REQUEST, the cast to struct ksmbd_rpc_command reads resp->payload_sz at offset 8 of an 8-byte allocation: [ 3697.841381] ================================================================== [ 3697.844099] BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in ipc_msg_send_request+0x763/0x800 [ 3697.846604] Read of size 4 at addr ffff888105f95910 by task kworker/4:3/20682 [ 3697.849061] [ 3697.849801] CPU: 4 UID

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85720 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, a request using an HTTP proxy to reach an HTTPS origin can expose preemptive origin credentials because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender.sendRequestWithNewChannel attach Authorization to the plaintext CONNECT request before the TLS tunnel exists. Basic or Digest credentials and per-connection NTLM, Kerberos, or SPNEGO tokens intended for the origin are therefore visible to the proxy and to observers on the client-to-proxy hop. The tunneled request still receives origin Authorization after the tunnel is established, while Proxy-Authorization remains on CONNECT for its intended proxy recipient. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 3.0.8 until 3.0.12, processScramAuthenticationInfo and processAuthenticationInfo compute the SCRAM ServerSignature or Digest rspauth verification result but log a mismatch and still deliver the response as authenticated. On a non-TLS or compromised transport, a peer that has not proved knowledge of the shared secret can therefore be accepted as the server. The fix rejects a present invalid value and computes Digest rspauth from the Authorization parameters actually sent, but verification remains unenforced when the value is absent, the sent parameters cannot be recovered, or Digest uses qop=auth-int. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85721 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, automatic response decompression on the HTTP/1.1 path uses ChannelManager.newHttpContentDecompressor() to install Http1ContentDecompressor without a cumulative output-size limit. A hostile or compromised server, or an attacker who can alter a response in transit, can send a small gzip, deflate, or snappy response that expands across chunks until the client exhausts its heap and raises OutOfMemoryError; brotli and zstd are also affected when their optional codecs are present. In versions 3.0.8 through 3.0.10, the HTTP/2 decompressor is also unbounded, so switching protocols does not mitigate the issue on those releases. A limit applied to each decode call is insufficient because the response can be delivered as many small chunks, so the fixed implementation tracks total decompressed bytes for the whole response. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85719 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, requests using an authenticated SOCKS proxy can expose the proxy's credentials to the origin because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender attach Proxy-Authorization without confirming that the request is being sent to an HTTP proxy. With preemptive proxy authentication, the header is attached to a plaintext HTTP request, exposing credentials such as directly reversible Basic credentials to the origin. With the default non-preemptive flow, a hostile origin can return a 407 response and ProxyUnauthorized407Interceptor sends the proxy credentials through the existing SOCKS tunnel, including NTLM, Kerberos, and SPNEGO credentials. Releases before 2.1.0 lack SOCKS proxy support. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85718 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 3.0.8 until 3.0.12, a client with maxConnections or maxConnectionsPerHost set above zero leaks one connection permit whenever TLS connection establishment fails before the handshake completes. NettyConnectListener removes the partitionKeyLock permit from NettyResponseFuture before every failure path is bound to the channel closeFuture, so an abort can leave the permit unreleased. Repeated failures can permanently lock out one host under a per-host limit or drain the shared pool under a global limit, blocking later requests even when no connection remains open. The default unlimited connection setting is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.12.

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.14.5 to 2.16.0 and from 3.0.9 to 3.0.11, a client configured with a client-wide Realm and redirect following can disclose credentials after a cross-origin redirect because the Interceptors authentication path falls back to the client configuration after redirect handling clears the per-exchange realm. If the attacker-controlled target returns 401, the client can send Basic or Digest credentials or a Negotiate or NTLM token to that origin. Per-request realms are stripped correctly, and this issue is a residual bypass of the earlier cross-origin credential-stripping fixes. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.
