In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpt3sas: Limit NVMe request size to 2 MiB The HBA firmware reports NVMe MDTS values based on the underlying drive capability. However, because the driver allocates a fixed 4K buffer for the PRP list, accommodating at most 512 entries, the driver supports a maximum I/O transfer size of 2 MiB. Limit max_hw_sectors to the smaller of the reported MDTS and the 2 MiB driver limit to prevent issuing oversized I/O that may lead to a kernel oops.

  • May 16, 2026### Summary `qs.stringify` throws `TypeError` when called with `arrayFormat: 'comma'` and `encodeValuesOnly: true` on an array containing `null` or `undefineCVE-2026-8723 · Other software · ljharb · reported by 7ffcee3d-2c14-4c3e-b844-86c6a321a158Medium 6.3

    ### Summary `qs.stringify` throws `TypeError` when called with `arrayFormat: 'comma'` and `encodeValuesOnly: true` on an array containing `null` or `undefined`. The throw is synchronous and not handled by any of qs's null-related options (`skipNulls`, `strictNullHandling`). ### Details In the comma + `encodeValuesOnly` branch, `lib/stringify.js:145` mapped the array through the raw encoder before joining: ```js obj = utils.maybeMap(obj, encoder); ``` `utils.encode` (`lib/utils.js:195`) reads `str.length` with no null guard, so a `null` or `undefined` element throws `TypeError`. `skipNulls` and `strictNullHandling` are both checked in the per-element loop below this line and never get a chance to run. Same class of bug as the filter-array path fixed in 0c180a4. The vulnerable shape of the comma + `encodeValuesOnly` branch was introduced in 4c4b23d ("encode comma values more consistently", PR #463, 2023-01-19), first released in v6.11.1. #### PoC ```js const qs = require('qs'); qs.stringify({ a: [null, 'b'] }, { arrayFormat: 'comma', encodeValuesOnly: true }); qs.stringify({ a: [undefined, 'b'] }, { arrayFormat: 'comma', encodeValuesOnly: t

HTTP::Tiny versions before 0.093 for Perl do not validate CRLF in HTTP request lines or control field header values. The unvalidated inputs are the method and URI in the request line, the URL host that becomes the `Host:` header, and HTTP/1.1 control data field values. External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets. Prior to 2.4.1, a user who only has permission to create ExternalSecret resources can cause the operator to create a Secret that Kubernetes will automatically populate with a long-lived token for the specified service account. This effectively allows the user to impersonate any service account in the namespace without needing direct create permissions on TokenRequest or Secrets of that type. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Use u32 for non-negative values in ceph_monmap_decode() This patch fixes unnecessary implicit conversions that change signedness of blob_len and num_mon in ceph_monmap_decode(). Currently blob_len and num_mon are (signed) int variables. They are used to hold values that are always non-negative and get assigned in ceph_decode_32_safe(), which is meant to assign u32 values. Both variables are subsequently used as unsigned values, and the value of num_mon is further assigned to monmap->num_mon, which is of type u32. Therefore, both variables should be of type u32. This is especially relevant for num_mon. If the value read from the incoming message is very large, it is interpreted as a negative value, and the check for num_mon > CEPH_MAX_MON does not catch it. This leads to the attempt to allocate a very large chunk of memory for monmap, which will most likely fail. In this case, an unnecessary attempt to allocate memory is performed, and -ENOMEM is returned instead of -EINVAL.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm: clear cloned request bio pointer when last clone bio completes Stale rq->bio values have been observed to cause double-initialization of cloned bios in request-based device-mapper targets, leading to use-after-free and double-free scenarios. One such case occurs when using dm-multipath on top of a PCIe NVMe namespace, where cloned request bios are freed during blk_complete_request(), but rq->bio is left intact. Subsequent clone teardown then attempts to free the same bios again via blk_rq_unprep_clone(). The resulting double-free path looks like: nvme_pci_complete_batch() nvme_complete_batch() blk_mq_end_request_batch() blk_complete_request() // called on a DM clone request bio_endio() // first free of all clone bios ... rq->end_io() // end_clone_request() dm_complete_request(tio->orig) dm_softirq_done() dm_done() dm_end_request() blk_rq_unprep_clone() // second free of clone bios Fix this by clearing the clone request's bio pointer when the last cl

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix u8 overflow in SSID scan buffer size calculation The variable valuesize is declared as u8 but accumulates the total length of all SSIDs to scan. Each SSID contributes up to 33 bytes (IEEE80211_MAX_SSID_LEN + 1), and with WILC_MAX_NUM_PROBED_SSID (10) SSIDs the total can reach 330, which wraps around to 74 when stored in a u8. This causes kmalloc to allocate only 75 bytes while the subsequent memcpy writes up to 331 bytes into the buffer, resulting in a 256-byte heap buffer overflow. Widen valuesize from u8 to u32 to accommodate the full range.

  • Apr 27, 2026JmsBinding.extractBodyFromJms() in camel-jms, and the equivalent JmsBinding class in camel-sjms, deserialized the payload of incoming JMS ObjectMessage values vCVE-2026-40860 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.8

JmsBinding.extractBodyFromJms() in camel-jms, and the equivalent JmsBinding class in camel-sjms, deserialized the payload of incoming JMS ObjectMessage values via javax.jms.ObjectMessage.getObject() without applying any ObjectInputFilter, class allowlist or class denylist. Because this code path is reached whenever the mapJmsMessage option is enabled (the default) and Camel acts as a JMS consumer, an attacker able to publish a crafted ObjectMessage to a queue or topic consumed by a Camel application could achieve remote code execution when a deserialization gadget chain was present on the classpath. The same handling was reached transitively through camel-sjms2 (whose Sjms2Endpoint extends SjmsEndpoint) and through camel-amqp (whose AMQPJmsBinding extends JmsBinding), and by other JMS-family components built on JmsComponent such as camel-activemq and camel-activemq6. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 3.0.0 before 4.14.7, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.2, from 4.19.0 before 4.20.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.14.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.14.7. If users are on the 4.18.x releases

  • Apr 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Use scratch field in MMIO fragment to hold small write values When exiting to usCVE-2026-31588 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Use scratch field in MMIO fragment to hold small write values When exiting to userspace to service an emulated MMIO write, copy the to-be-written value to a scratch field in the MMIO fragment if the size of the data payload is 8 bytes or less, i.e. can fit in a single chunk, instead of pointing the fragment directly at the source value. This fixes a class of use-after-free bugs that occur when the emulator initiates a write using an on-stack, local variable as the source, the write splits a page boundary, *and* both pages are MMIO pages. Because KVM's ABI only allows for physically contiguous MMIO requests, accesses that split MMIO pages are separated into two fragments, and are sent to userspace one at a time. When KVM attempts to complete userspace MMIO in response to KVM_RUN after the first fragment, KVM will detect the second fragment and generate a second userspace exit, and reference the on-stack variable. The issue is most visible if the second KVM_RUN is performed by a separate task, in which case the stack of the initiating task can show up as truly freed data. ==========================

  • Apr 13, 2026External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets.CVE-2026-34984 · Other software · external-secrets · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets. Versions 2.2.0 and below contain a vulnerability in runtime/template/v2/template.go where the v2 template engine removes env and expandenv from Sprig's TxtFuncMap() but leaves the getHostByName function accessible to user-controlled templates. Since ESO executes templates within the controller process, an attacker who can create or update templated ExternalSecret resources can invoke controller-side DNS lookups using secret-derived values. This creates a DNS exfiltration primitive, allowing fetched secret material to be leaked via DNS queries without requiring direct outbound network access from the attacker's workload. The impact is a confidentiality issue, particularly in environments where untrusted or lower-trust users can author templated ExternalSecret resources and the controller has DNS resolution capability. This issue has been fixed in version 2.3.0.

Apache Airflow versions 3.0.0 through 3.1.8 DagRun wait endpoint returns XCom result values even to users who only have DAG Run read permissions, such as the Viewer role. This behavior conflicts with the FAB RBAC model, which treats XCom as a separate protected resource, and with the security model documentation that defines the Viewer role as read-only. Airflow uses the FAB Auth Manager to manage access control on a per-resource basis. The Viewer role is intended to be read-only by default, and the security model documentation defines Viewer users as those who can inspect DAGs without accessing sensitive execution results. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Airflow 3.2.0 which resolves this issue.
