  • Aug 29, 2026Stripe Payment Forms by WP Full Pay: Does not verify that a subscription belongs to the customer bound to the requesting customer-portal session before cancelling itCVE-2026-80311 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 4.3

The Stripe Payment Forms by WP Full Pay WordPress plugin before 8.5.5 does not verify that a subscription belongs to the customer bound to the requesting customer-portal session before cancelling it, allowing a user with a confirmed portal session to cancel subscriptions belonging to other customers. • Aug 28, 2026A network-reachable client that has not yet authenticated can hold a MongoDB Connector for BI authentication session open indefinitely by beginning a SASL-basedCVE-2026-81520 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comHigh 8.7

A network-reachable client that has not yet authenticated can hold a MongoDB Connector for BI authentication session open indefinitely by beginning a SASL-based login exchange and then declining to complete it. Because the negotiation loop had no overall time bound and the read from the client had no deadline, each such session retains a worker, a client connection slot, and its associated backend database connections until the process is restarted. Repeated use of this behavior can consume the configured connection capacity and prevent legitimate users from establishing new sessions.

When IMAP compression is enabled, the same compression state is reused across responses in a session, so response sizes depend on both attacker-supplied mail and other mail in the same mailbox. An attacker that can send mail to a user and can also observe the sizes of that user's IMAP traffic can confirm whether the body of a small message matches a guessed text. Recovery of arbitrary unknown content was not demonstrated, but the attack can disclose whether a secret-like message body matches a candidate. Disable IMAP compression. • Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel do not revoke existing authenticated sessions when a user’s password is changed.CVE-2026-81826 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Critical 9.1

Affected versions of Flowintel do not revoke existing authenticated sessions when a user’s password is changed. This means that if an attacker already possesses a valid session—for example, from prior access or a stolen session token—the victim changing their password does not terminate that attacker’s access. The session remains usable until it expires naturally. The upstream commit describes this directly as: “session keeps working until it expires.” The fix detects password changes and explicitly invokes _invalidate_user_sessions(user.id) after the database update. This is applied in both edit_user_core() and admin_edit_user_core(). Version impacted >=3.3.0

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: l2tp: fix tunnel and session refcount leak on seq_file release In pppol2tp_proc_open() and l2tp_dfs_seq_open(), iteration state (pd->tunnel and pd->session) is kept in seq_file private data to allow iteration across multiple read() system calls. However, if userspace closes /proc/net/pppol2tp or /sys/kernel/debug/l2tp/tunnels before reading to end-of-file (EOF), any tunnel or session reference stored in pd->tunnel / pd->session is left un-dropped when seq_file private data is freed. The personal access token removal query selects from PersonalAccessTokenDB but filters on columns of Session, with no join between them. • Aug 25, 2026Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl allow the second-factor attempt limit to be reset by replaying an earlier session cookie because the challenge CVE-2026-78655 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl allow the second-factor attempt limit to be reset by replaying an earlier session cookie because the challenge route counts failures in the session. The POST handler on challenge_path keeps the failure count as tries inside the totp_pending record in the session, raising it on each rejected code and deleting the pending record once it reaches attempts, five by default. Punk::Session carries the session in a signed cookie unless the application declares a store, and keeps no server-side record, so an earlier value of the same session stays valid until the expiry stamped inside it. A client that saves the cookie before its failed attempts and presents it again gets the pending record back with its counter, and the limit never fires. The replayed record is accepted while its own expiry, pending_ttl seconds from the challenge and 300 by default, has not passed. Sessions declared with a store are not affected: the pending record and its counter then live server-side. The attempt limit does not bound guessing of the second factor, which is left to the per-address rate limit the plugin registers on the same path, 30 requests per 60 secon

  • Aug 25, 2026The OCPP 1.6 client in subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp.c reconstructs a session handle and PDU id from the uid field of a CALLRESULT message.CVE-2026-13217 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.9

The OCPP 1.6 client in subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp.c reconstructs a session handle and PDU id from the uid field of a CALLRESULT message. In ocpp_process_server_msg() the code calls atoi(strtok_r(uid, "-", &tmp)) without checking the strtok_r return value. When the server-supplied uid is empty or contains no - delimiter, strtok_r() returns NULL and atoi(NULL) dereferences a NULL pointer, which is undefined behaviour. The uid originates from network data: parse_rpc_msg() in subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp_j.c JSON-parses a frame received from the OCPP central system over TCP/WebSocket and copies the server-controlled string into the local buffer. A malicious or compromised central system, or a man-in-the-middle on a non-TLS ws:// connection, can return a malformed uid to reach the defect. No authentication beyond the existing server connection (or MITM position) is required, and the reconstructed pointer is membership-validated by ocpp_session_is_valid(), so the impact is limited to the NULL dereference rather than arbitrary pointer use. On Zephyr targets that trap access to address 0 (MMU/MPU platforms or CONFIG_NULL_POINTER_EXCEPTION_DETECTION), the dereference faults inside the OCPP read

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in the OAuth token refresh grant in hexpm hexpm allows a user removed from an organization to keep reading its private packages. expand_repositories_scope/3 in lib/hexpm/permissions.ex only rewrites the literal repositories scope, so an explicitly granted repository:<org> or docs:<org> scope passes through it untouched. The refresh grant re-derives a new token from the stored granted_scopes, which holds that expanded form, so every refresh reproduces the organization scope without revisiting membership. Because both CDN edges authorize repository access from the token claim without querying the database, an account removed from an organization retains read access for as long as it keeps refreshing, bounded by the 30 day refresh token lifetime rather than the 30 minute access token lifetime. • Aug 24, 2026RansomLook created its Flask session-signing key without explicitly restricting the file permissions.CVE-2026-78553 · Other software · ransomlook · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7

RansomLook created its Flask session-signing key without explicitly restricting the file permissions. The secret_key file was created using the process's default permissions and umask, resulting in permissions such as 0644 under a common 022 umask. Consequently, other local users able to access the RansomLook home directory could read the application's cryptographic secret. The exposed key is security-critical because it is used to sign Flask session cookies and is also involved in the legacy API-key key derivation. An attacker who obtains the key can generate valid session cookies and impersonate an authenticated user, including an administrator. In LDAP configurations, exploitation may be particularly straightforward because the session user loader does not require the supplied username to correspond to an existing local user. Successful exploitation requires local access sufficient to read the improperly protected file, but can result in complete compromise of RansomLook's authentication and authorization controls. The patch creates new secret-key files atomically with permissions 0600 and also restricts permissions on existing key files during application startup.

  • Aug 23, 2026Apache::AppSamurai::Util versions through 1.01 for Perl generate predictable session authentication keys from the clock and process id in CreateSessionAuthKey.CVE-2026-19565 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eLow 3.7

Apache::AppSamurai::Util versions through 1.01 for Perl generate predictable session authentication keys from the clock and process id in CreateSessionAuthKey. CreateSessionAuthKey runs five rounds of SHA-256, each over a fresh Time::HiRes reading formatted to six decimal places, the running digest, and the process id. CreateSession calls it with an empty key source on every login, and the optional Keysource directive is the only route to the other branch. The result is 64 hex characters. The microsecond field of the first reading takes one of a million values, the later readings follow it within microseconds, and the process id is drawn from a small range. The key is returned to the browser as the session cookie, and is combined with the configured server key to compute the session id and to encrypt the stored session data. An attacker who knows the second in which a session was created and the process id of the worker that created it can enumerate candidate keys and recover the victim's cookie, bypassing authentication for the protected resources. Each candidate has to be tried against the server, which validates the cookie with a key the attacker does not hold.

  • Aug 22, 2026Punk versions before 0.18 for Perl allow session cookie forgery via an empty default HMAC key when a session is declared without a secret.CVE-2026-75870 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

Punk versions before 0.18 for Perl allow session cookie forgery via an empty default HMAC key when a session is declared without a secret. The session keyword freezes its options onto the application as given: it does not require a secret, warn, or refuse to start when one is absent. The cookie read and the write-back both default that key to the empty string, so a declaration with no secret option, or with an undefined or empty one, signs and verifies with a zero-length HMAC-SHA256 key. An attacker who knows the cookie format can then mint one offline carrying any contents the session holds, such as a user identifier or a role. Nothing marks the misconfiguration at runtime: cookies are well formed and sessions round-trip as expected.

  • Aug 20, 2026Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity vulnerability in dropbox samly allows an attacker to establish an authenticated session using a SAML response theCVE-2026-53425 · Other software · dropbox · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7.6

Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity vulnerability in dropbox samly allows an attacker to establish an authenticated session using a SAML response the service provider never requested. Samly.SPHandler.validate_authresp/3 in lib/samly/sp_handler.ex validates a SAML response for the SP-initiated flow by comparing only the RelayState value, the IdP identifier, and the presence of a target URL held in the session. It never compares SubjectConfirmationData/@InResponseTo against the ID of the AuthnRequest the service provider issued, and that request ID is never persisted, so no comparison is possible. SAML 2.0 Core section 4.1.4.3 requires a service provider to reject a response whose InResponseTo does not match a request it made. The underlying esaml library checks status, signature, recipient, audience, and staleness, but likewise never inspects InResponseTo, so nothing else closes the gap. Exploitation requires a validly signed assertion from the trusted IdP, which an attacker can obtain for their own account, and a RelayState matching the victim's session; the assertion signature itself remains intact, so this is not a signature-forgery issue. Grav Login Plugin adds login, basic ACL, and session wide messages to Grav. Prior to 3.8.11, the Grav Login plugin login.regenerate2FASecret task accepts a top-level GET request through the TaskServiceProvider task: URI parameter without requiring a login-form nonce, an Origin check, or a Referer check. Under the default SameSite=Lax session cookie policy, an off-site navigation can invoke taskRegenerate2FASecret() in a logged-in victim's session, overwrite the victim's TOTP secret, and force two-factor re-enrollment. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: fix tid_tx use-after-free on BA session stop ieee80211_stop_tx_ba_cb() hands tid_tx to kfree_rcu() through ieee80211_remove_tid_tx(), and then reads tid_tx->ndp after dropping sta->lock: ieee80211_remove_tid_tx(sta, tid); /* kfree_rcu(tid_tx, rcu_head) */ ... spin_unlock_bh(&sta->lock); if (start_txq) ieee80211_agg_start_txq(sta, tid, false); if (send_delba) ieee80211_send_delba(..., tid_tx->ndp); That read is not covered by an RCU read-side critical section, and it runs in preemptible process context: both callers hold the wiphy mutex, reaching it either from the ieee80211_ba_session_work() wiphy work or from ieee80211_sta_tear_down_BA_sessions() during station teardown. Softirqs can run in that window too, both from the local_bh_enable() that ends ieee80211_agg_start_txq() and from any interrupt exit, so the RCU callback can free tid_tx before the read. Driving the function from a test module with the grace period forced into that window, KASAN reports the read, and the free arrives on the ordinary RCU softirq path: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in ieee80211_stop_tx_ba_cb+0x3c
