In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/qaic: Treat remaining == 0 as error in find_and_map_user_pages() Currently, if find_and_map_user_pages() takes a DMA xfer request from the user with a length field set to 0, or in a rare case, the host receives QAIC_TRANS_DMA_XFER_CONT from the device where resources->xferred_dma_size is equal to the requested transaction size, the function will return 0 before allocating an sgt or setting the fields of the dma_xfer struct. In that case, encode_addr_size_pairs() will try to access the sgt which will lead to a general protection fault. Return an EINVAL in case the user provides a zero-sized ALP, or the device requests continuation after all of the bytes have been transferred.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Handle race between rb_move_tail and rb_check_pages It seems a data race between ring_buffer writing and integrity check. That is, RB_FLAG of head_page is been updating, while at same time RB_FLAG was cleared when doing integrity check rb_check_pages(): rb_check_pages() rb_handle_head_page(): -------- -------- rb_head_page_deactivate() rb_head_page_set_normal() rb_head_page_activate() We do intergrity test of the list to check if the list is corrupted and it is still worth doing it. So, let's refactor rb_check_pages() such that we no longer clear and set flag during the list sanity checking. Oct 21, 2025Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Bang Resto v1.0 could allow an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into the application's web pages.CVE-2025-60280 · Other software · Hockeycomputindo · reported by MITREMedium 6.1
Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Bang Resto v1.0 could allow an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into the application's web pages. This vulnerability exists due to insufficient input sanitization or output encoding, allowing attacker-controlled input to be rendered directly in the browser. When exploited, an attacker can steal session cookies, redirect users to malicious sites, perform actions on behalf of the user, or deface the website. This can lead to user data compromise, loss of user trust, and a broader attack surface for more advanced exploitation techniques.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/swap: fix swap_info_struct race between swapoff and get_swap_pages() The si->lock must be held when deleting the si from the available list. Otherwise, another thread can re-add the si to the available list, which can lead to memory corruption. The only place we have found where this happens is in the swapoff path. This case can be described as below: core 0 core 1 swapoff del_from_avail_list(si) waiting try lock si->lock acquire swap_avail_lock and re-add si into swap_avail_head acquire si->lock but missing si already being added again, and continuing to clear SWP_WRITEOK, etc. It can be easily found that a massive warning messages can be triggered inside get_swap_pages() by some special cases, for example, we call madvise(MADV_PAGEOUT) on blocks of touched memory concurrently, meanwhile, run much swapon-swapoff operations (e.g. stress-ng-swap). However, in the worst case, panic can be caused by the above scene. In swapoff(), the memory used by si could be kept in swap_info[] after turning off a swap. T

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm,hugetlb: take hugetlb_lock before decrementing h->resv_huge_pages The h->*_huge_pages counters are protected by the hugetlb_lock, but alloc_huge_page has a corner case where it can decrement the counter outside of the lock. This could lead to a corrupted value of h->resv_huge_pages, which we have observed on our systems. Take the hugetlb_lock before decrementing h->resv_huge_pages to avoid a potential race.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/memmap: cast nr_pages to size_t before shifting If the allocated size exceeds UINT_MAX, then it's necessary to cast the mr->nr_pages value to size_t to prevent it from overflowing. In practice this isn't much of a concern as the required memory size will have been validated upfront, and accounted to the user. And > 4GB sizes will be necessary to make the lack of a cast a problem, which greatly exceeds normal user locked_vm settings that are generally in the kb to mb range. However, if root is used, then accounting isn't done, and then it's possible to hit this issue.

Aug 19, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen: fix UAF in dmabuf_exp_from_pages() [dma_buf_fd() fixes; no preferences regarding the CVE-2025-38595 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen: fix UAF in dmabuf_exp_from_pages() [dma_buf_fd() fixes; no preferences regarding the tree it goes through - up to xen folks] As soon as we'd inserted a file reference into descriptor table, another thread could close it. That's fine for the case when all we are doing is returning that descriptor to userland (it's a race, but it's a userland race and there's nothing the kernel can do about it). However, if we follow fd_install() with any kind of access to objects that would be destroyed on close (be it the struct file itself or anything destroyed by its ->release()), we have a UAF. dma_buf_fd() is a combination of reserving a descriptor and fd_install(). gntdev dmabuf_exp_from_pages() calls it and then proceeds to access the objects destroyed on close - starting with gntdev_dmabuf itself. Fix that by doing reserving descriptor before anything else and do fd_install() only when everything had been set up.

Aug 16, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/pf: Clear all LMTT pages on alloc Our LMEM buffer objects are not cleared by defaulCVE-2025-38511 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/pf: Clear all LMTT pages on alloc Our LMEM buffer objects are not cleared by default on alloc and during VF provisioning we only setup LMTT PTEs for the actually provisioned LMEM range. But beyond that valid range we might leave some stale data that could either point to some other VFs allocations or even to the PF pages. Explicitly clear all new LMTT page to avoid the risk that a malicious VF would try to exploit that gap. While around add asserts to catch any undesired PTE overwrites and low-level debug traces to track LMTT PT life-cycle. (cherry picked from commit 3fae6918a3e27cce20ded2551f863fb05d4bef8d)

FPDI is a collection of PHP classes that facilitate reading pages from existing PDF documents and using them as templates in FPDF. In versions 2.6.2 and below, any application that uses FPDI to process user-supplied PDF files is at risk, causing a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability. An attacker can upload a small, malicious PDF file that will cause the server-side script to crash due to memory exhaustion. Repeated attacks can lead to sustained service unavailability. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.3.
