Oct 2, 2026The postgresql-operator charm runs a Prometheus postgres_exporter to collect database metrics using a dedicated "monitoring" PostgreSQL user.CVE-2026-104055 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5.3
The postgresql-operator charm runs a Prometheus postgres_exporter to collect database metrics using a dedicated "monitoring" PostgreSQL user. On database connection errors, the exporter writes the monitoring user's password in cleartext to its logs. Any actor able to read those logs can recover the password, which grants read-only pg_monitor access to PostgreSQL. This is fixed in the dev track (14/edge) in revisions 1189 (arm64) and 1190 (amd64), and in the stable track (14/stable) in revisions 1216 (arm64) and 1217 (amd64).

Oct 2, 2026Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases.CVE-2026-104859 · Other software · nrwl · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3
Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From 21.4.0 until 22.7.8 and from 23.0.0 until 23.1.1, the @nx/docker release pipeline builds docker tag, image lookup, and docker push invocations as shell command strings. The release.docker.repositoryName and registryUrl configuration values are interpolated into those strings and passed to /bin/sh -c, allowing shell syntax in untrusted Nx configuration to execute during nx release version or nx release publish. A pull request or repository configuration change can therefore execute commands with the release job's privileges and expose registry credentials or cloud tokens, and dry-run publishing does not prevent the vulnerable pre-check command from executing. This issue is fixed in versions 22.7.8 and 23.1.1.

Oct 2, 2026Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases.CVE-2026-104854 · Other software · nrwl · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From 14.6.0 until 22.7.9 and 23.1.2, Nx creates Unix domain sockets for its daemon and isolated plugin workers in shared temporary locations without owner-only directory and socket permissions. Another unprivileged local account on a shared build server, developer host, or multi-user container can discover and connect to a running socket because the transport performs no authentication and relies on filesystem containment. The daemon's PROCESS_IN_BACKGROUND request accepts a module path and invokes its default export, allowing a caller that controls a file to execute code as the account running Nx; other handlers can expose workspace file contents, project graphs, and task hashes. Disabling the daemon alone does not remove the vulnerable plugin-worker sockets, while single-user machines without another local account are not exposed. This issue is fixed in versions 22.7.9 and 23.1.2.

Oct 2, 2026Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases.CVE-2026-104853 · Other software · nrwl · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8
Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From 13.10.0 until 22.7.10 and 23.2.1, Nx migration planning reads the nx-migrations.migrations value from a target package manifest without validating that it is a contained relative path. A hostile direct dependency or a package introduced through a trusted package's packageGroup can supply .. segments or an absolute path, causing nx migrate to join an escaping destination onto its temporary directory. The migration archive can then write attacker-controlled bytes outside the temporary directory, while opening the destination stream can truncate an existing writable file even when no archive entry matches. This occurs during migration planning before review of the migration list or use of --run-migrations; the vulnerable installed Nx copy is reached when the normal nx@latest handoff is bypassed with NX_USE_LOCAL, NX_MIGRATE_USE_LOCAL, NX_MIGRATE_CLI_VERSION, --run-id, or fallback after a temporary-install failure. This issue is fixed in versions 22.7.10 and 23.2.1.

Oct 2, 2026Download Monitor: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-100182 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Download Monitor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Cross-Origin postMessage to Admin Editor in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to trick an authenticated Administrator into visiting an attacker-controlled page that targets an open Download edit screen, after which the payload is persisted unfiltered via the Administrator's unfiltered_html capability and later emitted verbatim to the frontend by the [download_data] shortcode's unescaped post_content render path.

Sep 30, 2026CloudTAK is a browser-based Common Operating Picture and situational awareness tool compatible with TAK.CVE-2026-55177 · Other software · dfpc-coe · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6
CloudTAK is a browser-based Common Operating Picture and situational awareness tool compatible with TAK. Prior to version 13.10.0, every route in the ESRI helper family (api/routes/esri.ts) takes a fully attacker-controlled URL from the request (POST /api/esri body url, and the portal / server / layer query parameters on the GET /api/esri/* routes) and passes it into EsriBase / EsriProxyPortal / EsriProxyServer / EsriProxyLayer in api/lib/esri.ts, which fetch it with the bare fetch from @tak-ps/etl. No IP / DNS / hostname classification is applied at any point, so the destination is never validated against private, loopback, or link-local ranges. Any authenticated user (the routes only require Auth.is_auth(config, req, { anyResources: true }), i.e. any token, not an admin) can therefore make the CloudTAK server issue arbitrary outbound GET/POST requests to internal addresses such as the cloud instance-metadata service (169.254.169.254), loopback admin ports (127.0.0.1:<port>), and other hosts reachable only from inside the deployment VPC. This is a full-read SSRF, not blind: on success the upstream JSON body is returned to the caller via res.json(...), and on failure the upstream e

Sep 29, 2026`_nx_icmpv6_validate_options()` scans the option area with `while (length > 2)` (`common/src/nx_icmpv6_validate_options.c:79`).CVE-2026-102714 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 7.1
`_nx_icmpv6_validate_options()` scans the option area with `while (length > 2)` (`common/src/nx_icmpv6_validate_options.c:79`). An area whose size leaves a one- or two-byte residue exits the loop with that tail unexamined; the residue is not negative, so the function returns `NX_SUCCESS`. Its zero-length rejection never sees those bytes. Every consumer then re-walks the same area, reading a two-byte option header at the residue and subtracting `nx_icmpv6_option_length << 3` with no zero check and no remaining-length check. Three outcomes follow, selected by bytes the attacker controls. **Zero length byte.** The walker subtracts zero and advances zero. All four handlers loop forever — `_nx_icmpv6_process_ra` (`nx_icmpv6_process_ra.c:245, :528`), `_nx_icmpv6_process_ns` (`:251, :329`), `_nx_icmpv6_process_na` (`:147, :156`) and `_nx_icmpv6_process_redirect` (`:247, :350`). The walk runs in the IP thread, which is the highest-priority thread and does not yield inside the loop, so the system stops until a watchdog reset and the frame can be replayed after each one. **Non-zero length byte on a short residue.** The three unsigned counters underflow — `2 - 8` becomes `0xFFFFFFFA`

A missing bounds check in the binary decoder in lib0, versions 0.2.1-0.2.117 and earlier and 1.0.0-rc.32 and earlier, lets any unauthenticated remote peer read adjacent process memory and receive it back. `readUint8Array` never compares the wire-supplied length against the decoder's own view, so one over-long length prefix returns whatever the host process allocated next: other tenants' document content, personal data, and live bearer session tokens**, recovered in full and at will. An attacker who can supply bytes to a lib0 decoder which means any peer that can open a socket, including before authentication reads adjacent process memory and, where the consumer echoes, stores or re-serves the decoded value, receives it back. The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. Prior to 1.1.21, 2.1.7, 3.0.9, and 5.0.12, the expand function handles untrusted {a},b}-shaped patterns with many trailing closing braces by restarting its scan once for each trailing closing brace. Sep 28, 2026The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix.CVE-2026-102276 · Other software · juliangruber · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. Prior to 1.1.19, 2.1.5, 3.0.7, and 5.0.10, crafted brace patterns can exhaust the native stack in parseCommaParts because parseCommaParts recursively processes the remainder once per brace group and uses push.apply to pass every element of a very large comma-part array as a function argument. Patterns containing many comma-separated brace groups trigger the recursive path, while the large array triggers the argument-array path without deep recursion. These paths cause recursive and argument-array native stack exhaustion before max or maxLength can limit output, potentially terminating the Node.js process in a process-terminating denial of service. Sep 28, 2026Network UPS Tools is a collection of programs which provide a common interface for monitoring and administering UPS, PDU and SCD hardware.CVE-2026-54160 · Other software · networkupstools · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Network UPS Tools is a collection of programs which provide a common interface for monitoring and administering UPS, PDU and SCD hardware. Prior to commits 658b24e and 1aa31d1, the GitHub Actions script used to prepare NUT tarballs and update GitHub Checks statuses and PR comments about it was mis-structured in terms of mixing code running with higher privileges (single-use token generated with write permissions) and untrusted inputs (PR source branch). A malicious PR run from a fork could extract the GITHUB_TOKEN value. It could potentially be abused while it was valid (while the GHA job ran) to manipulate Git repository contents, commit checks/statuses, or issue/PR comments, according to permissions it was issued with. This issue has been patched via commits 658b24e and 1aa31d1.

Sep 27, 2026Nezha is a server and website monitoring tool.CVE-2026-101088 · Other software · nezhahq · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6
Nezha is a server and website monitoring tool. In versions >= 2.2.11 and < 2.3.1, the service sentinel worker (service/singleton/servicesentinel.go) contains an incomplete fix for a previously reported nil dereference denial of service (GHSA-qjpp-gffx-2wm9). The 2026-07-21 fix re-validated the service lifecycle under serviceResponseDataStoreLock but reused an already-captured, now stale reporter pointer and never re-validated the server, and that lock does not guard ServerShared. An authenticated user with the member role who owns an agent can issue a concurrent server delete (POST /api/v1/batch-delete/server) for their own server to win the race window, causing the worker to dereference a missing entry in the server list snapshot. Because the sentinel workers and the gRPC server have no recover()/recovery interceptor, the resulting panic is unrecovered and crashes the entire instance. This is fixed in version 2.3.1.

Nezha Dashboard versions before 2.3.5 fail to restrict service monitor task types to supported probe types, allowing authenticated users with nezha:service:write scope to submit privileged task types through the service API. Attackers can deliver command execution or Agent configuration tasks to Agents within their authorization scope by exploiting the shared protobuf Task.Type namespace between service monitors and privileged operations.

Sep 26, 2026MONAI before 1.5.2 contains a deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability in the algo_from_pickle function in monai/auto3dseg/utils.py.CVE-2026-100846 · Other software · Project-MONAI · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8
MONAI before 1.5.2 contains a deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability in the algo_from_pickle function in monai/auto3dseg/utils.py. The function reads a .pkl file and passes its contents to pickle.loads without validating the data source or content. If an application invokes algo_from_pickle on an attacker-supplied pickle file, an object defining __reduce__ is executed during deserialization, resulting in arbitrary code execution in the context of the application.

Sep 26, 2026MONAI before 1.6.0 is vulnerable to OS command injection in the nnUNetV2Runner component (monai.apps.nnunet.nnunetv2_runner).CVE-2026-100844 · Other software · Project-MONAI · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6
MONAI before 1.6.0 is vulnerable to OS command injection in the nnUNetV2Runner component (monai.apps.nnunet.nnunetv2_runner). User-controlled values taken from the YAML configuration file (notably dataset_name_or_id) and from CLI/kwargs arguments are concatenated into a command string without quoting or validation and then passed to subprocess with shell=True, so shell metacharacters (e.g., ';' on Linux, '&' on Windows) are interpreted. If a victim loads and processes a crafted configuration file — for example by instantiating nnUNetV2Runner with the malicious YAML and invoking a training/validation job such as train_single_model() — arbitrary commands are executed with the privileges of the user running the job.

Sep 26, 2026MONAI through 1.6.0 contains an eval injection vulnerability in _get_fake_spatial_shape() in monai/bundle/scripts.py.CVE-2026-100842 · Other software · Project-MONAI · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.3
MONAI through 1.6.0 contains an eval injection vulnerability in _get_fake_spatial_shape() in monai/bundle/scripts.py. The function validates shape expressions with a helper that walks the AST and only collects ast.Name nodes, rejecting any name other than 'p' or 'n', before passing the string to eval(). Expressions built solely from constants and attribute, subscript, or call nodes (for example "(1).__class__.__bases__[0].__subclasses__()" or "int.__class__.__init__.__globals__") contain no ast.Name nodes and therefore bypass the allowlist. Because the shape value originates from bundle metadata consumed by _get_real_input_data and verify_net_in_out (reachable through the bundle 'verify_net_in_out' CLI flow), an attacker who can influence a bundle's metadata can escape the eval sandbox via object introspection chains and achieve code execution in this non-default flow.

Sep 26, 2026In MONAI 1.6.0, PersistentDataset (monai/data/dataset.py) explicitly rejects the combination track_meta=True with weights_only=True, forcing users who cache MetCVE-2026-100841 · Other software · Project-MONAI · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
In MONAI 1.6.0, PersistentDataset (monai/data/dataset.py) explicitly rejects the combination track_meta=True with weights_only=True, forcing users who cache MetaTensors (the default tensor type in MONAI >= 1.0) to run torch.load(hashfile, weights_only=False). Related cache helpers in monai/data/utils.py also call pickle.loads on cached content and derive cache keys with hashlib.md5. As a result, a local user with write access to a shared or world-writable cache_dir (e.g. /tmp/monai_cache, HPC scratch, ~/.cache/monai) can place a malicious pickle file that is deserialized the next time another user's MONAI pipeline reads the cache, resulting in arbitrary code execution in that user's context. All released versions of the monai pip package are affected; no patched version is available as of the advisory.

Sep 25, 2026PHP's OpenSSL stream peer verification checks the certificate's subjectAltName entries first and, whenever no entry matches, falls back to the Common Name.CVE-2026-91769 · Websites & servers · PHP Group · reported by security@php.netMedium 4.3
PHP's OpenSSL stream peer verification checks the certificate's subjectAltName entries first and, whenever no entry matches, falls back to the Common Name. RFC 6125 requires the CN to be ignored once the certificate presents any service identity, so a certificate carrying a non-matching DNS SAN was still accepted when its CN matched the requested peer_name. A certificate trusted by the client for one name can therefore be used to impersonate another.
