  • Aug 10, 2026BricksForge: Does not verify the identity of the requesterCVE-2026-18030 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 8.1

The BricksForge WordPress plugin before 3.1.8.8 does not verify the identity of the requester when processing a password change submitted through one of its form actions, allowing unauthenticated attackers to set an arbitrary password for any user, including administrators, and take over their account. Exploitation requires the site to have a form using the BricksForge WordPress plugin before 3.1.8.8's password reset action in its update mode. The server-side current-password verification option for that action is disabled by default, so the vulnerable state is the default one once the action is used.

  • Aug 7, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-46405 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to version 2.5.4, in OpenBao's Kerberos auth method on the `GET` handler, or when an `Authorization: Negotiate` header is supplied, the response is includes a `logical.Auth` object in addition to an error message. This results in tokens being created with only the default policy, default TTL, and no entity information, which are hidden by the returned error message. No access to these tokens by the caller occurs and the authentication token is not ever made accessible outside of `sys/raw`. This is fixed in OpenBao v2.5.4. As a workaround, users may set a rate limit quota to limit the creation of these paths. As the path is unauthenticated, it isn't possible to deny access to it.

OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to version 2.5.4, OpenBao's namespaces provide multi-tenant separation. A tenant who intentionally leaks lease identifiers can have their lease and underlying credential revoked or renewed by a user in another tenant via the legacy, undocumented `sys/revoke` and `sys/renew` endpoints. OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to version 2.5.4, OpenBao's inline auth functionality incorrectly redacted audit log entries, resulting in non-auth headers being removed and auth-related headers being retained in cleartext. This requires an attacker to compromise access to the audit device. Operators should review leaked source authentication material and rotate it as appropriate. This is fixed in OpenBao v2.5.4.

The Conditional Authentication (Adaptive Authentication) script does not correctly enforce the completion of all required authentication steps when a specific multi-step pattern involving certain authenticators is configured. This allows an attacker to bypass intermediate authentication challenges by exploiting how the script handles callbacks and re-execution of authentication steps. Successful exploitation allows a malicious actor to gain unauthorized access to a targeted user account. This vulnerability can only be exploited when all of the following conditions are met: the application login flow contains a specific secondary authenticator, the Conditional Authentication script is configured with particular event callbacks and re-executes an authentication step, the targeted user has one of the impacted authenticators enrolled, and the attacker successfully completes any preceding authentication steps.

The Secret Type Management REST API does not correctly isolate access controls when deleting a secret type. The on-delete cascade logic, when triggered, fails to enforce organizational boundaries, leading to the removal of secrets associated with that type across all organizations. Exploitation of this vulnerability can result in the unintended deletion of secrets across the entire deployment, potentially causing configuration failures, service interruptions, and a denial-of-service condition. This vulnerability requires delete permissions for the Secret Type Management REST API, which are by default only granted to administrators.

The system accepts authentication requests without sufficient validation to enforce tenant isolation when using Email OTP, SMS OTP, or Magic Link as first-factor authenticators. This failure to adequately separate user data between tenants can lead to the exposure of personally identifiable information. When Multi-Attribute Login is enabled, the login interface fails to consistently mask the existence of user accounts. For valid users, the server resolves and displays their canonical username, while for non-existent users, it echoes the original input. This occurs regardless of the validate_username configuration. The discovery of valid usernames can increase the risk of brute force attacks, social engineering attacks, and targeted information leakage. Attackers can leverage this information to craft more effective phishing campaigns or social engineering tactics to compromise user accounts or extract sensitive data.

  • Aug 6, 2026The Ajax processor within the Carbon console fails to adequately protect state-changing operations from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.CVE-2025-13394 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Medium 5.4

The Ajax processor within the Carbon console fails to adequately protect state-changing operations from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. Specifically, it utilizes the HTTP GET method for these operations, and while the SameSite=Lax cookie attribute is employed for mitigation, this mechanism is bypassed as it permits cookies to be sent with cross-origin top-level navigation requests, including GET requests. This allows an attacker to trick an authenticated user's browser into unknowingly executing unintended actions. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform unauthorized state-altering requests on behalf of authenticated users. This could lead to consequences such as data modification, account changes, or other actions that could result in data compromise or loss of user control over their account. However, this attack is only feasible if the Carbon console and related services are exposed to the public internet, which is not recommended according to WSO2's security guidelines.

  • Aug 6, 2026The user impersonation flow in WSO2 Identity Server fails to properly manage refresh tokens associated with impersonated sessions.CVE-2025-12627 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Low 2.4

The user impersonation flow in WSO2 Identity Server fails to properly manage refresh tokens associated with impersonated sessions. This allows an attacker who has obtained an access token for an impersonated user to leverage the refresh token grant to obtain new access tokens, extending their ability to act as the legitimate user. An attacker who gains access to an impersonated user's access token can exploit this weakness to renew their authorization. This results in the continued ability to perform actions on behalf of the actual user, compromising log integrity and traceability by masking the true actor.

  • Aug 6, 2026When secondary user stores are configured, the implicit-association resolver incorrectly initializes from a secondary user store and bypasses the primary user sCVE-2025-11850 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Medium 4.3

When secondary user stores are configured, the implicit-association resolver incorrectly initializes from a secondary user store and bypasses the primary user store during search and uniqueness checks. This allows a subject to be associated with an unintended local account if the same lookup claim (e.g., username or email) exists in both the primary and a secondary store. If duplicate claim values exist across user stores, this issue can lead to identity confusion due to incorrect implicit associations when using an external Identity Provider (IDP). Legitimate user accounts in the primary user store may fail to associate correctly with their corresponding external IDP accounts, potentially restricting access if the secondary account has fewer privileges. Deployments are not affected if no secondary user stores are configured, implicit association is disabled, or claim values are globally unique.

A flaw was found in the Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) component of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The default DCR policy fails to properly validate the claim path for User Property mappers, allowing them to write values to sensitive internal claim locations. Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow SAML authentication bypass via XML signature wrapping because new_from_xml reads assertion identity with document-wide XPath instead of the signed subtree. new_from_xml reads the NameID, attribute values, SessionIndex, audience and other identity fields with document-wide XPath, such as //saml:Assertion/saml:AttributeStatement/saml:Attribute and //saml:Subject/saml:NameID, which select the first matching element in document order rather than the element covered by the verified signature. handle_response confirms that a signature is present and, when a cacert is configured, that it chains to the CA, but XML::Sig verifies only the element named by the signature's Reference URI, so unsigned sibling assertions in the same document are not covered. An attacker who holds any one IdP-signed assertion can add an unsigned attacker-authored assertion earlier in document order; the signature still verifies and the document-order XPath returns the attacker's NameID and attributes. Any caller that passes an untrusted Response to new_from_xml can accept identity fields from an assertion the IdP never signed, even when a cacert trust anchor is conf

FreeRDP before 3.29.0 (affected versions <= 3.28.0) contains multiple TLS certificate identity validation weaknesses in tls_verify_certificate(), tls_match_hostname(), and x509_utils_get_dns_names(). Because FreeRDP performs custom Common Name and DNS SAN string matching instead of using OpenSSL's length-aware identity validation APIs, it (1) truncates DNS SAN values at embedded NUL bytes (accepting e.g. 'victim.example\0.attacker.example' as 'victim.example'), (2) accepts a matching Common Name even when non-matching DNS SAN entries are present, and (3) accepts IP-literal targets via DNS/CN matching without comparing iPAddress SANs. Under a trusted or misissued certificate chain, an attacker positioned to present such a certificate can bypass server identity verification, weakening TLS server authentication.

A flaw was found in the SAML protocol implementation of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when Keycloak handles SAML authentication requests using the HTTP-Redirect binding. If a client is configured with a wildcard redirect URL, an attacker can craft a request that includes malicious parameters. When a user authenticates, Keycloak appends its legitimate response to the attacker's parameters. • Jul 31, 2026A flaw was found in the keycloak-services component of Keycloak, which provides identity and access management services.CVE-2026-18206 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatLow 3.7

A flaw was found in the keycloak-services component of Keycloak, which provides identity and access management services. The issue occurs when a realm administrator uses a wildcard domain (like *.example.com) to restrict which hosts can register or update clients. Due to improper validation, the system accepts any hostname that ends with the specified domain suffix, even if it is not a legitimate subdomain. An attacker who can control the reverse DNS of their connection can bypass these host-based restrictions, potentially allowing unauthorized client modifications.

  • Jul 31, 2026A flaw was found in the group policy evaluation logic of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution.CVE-2026-18203 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in the group policy evaluation logic of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. When a group policy is set to extend permissions to child groups, the system incorrectly uses a simple text-based prefix check to verify group membership. This allows a user who belongs to a different group with a similar starting name to bypass security checks and gain unauthorized access to administrative functions or protected resources.
