  • Aug 1, 2026Spectra Legacy: Does not validate or escape several block style attributes before using them to build the CSS it outputs on the front endCVE-2026-10827 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanLow 3.5

The Spectra Legacy WordPress plugin before 2.20.0 does not validate or escape several block style attributes before using them to build the CSS it outputs on the front end, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to inject arbitrary CSS into the pages that render the affected block. The injected styles are served to anonymous visitors of those pages and can force external resource loads, deface/redress the page, or exfiltrate data via CSS attribute selectors. JavaScript execution is not possible at this role (the script-tag breakout is removed by KSES), so the impact is limited to CSS injection.

  • Jul 28, 2026Event Booking Manager for WooCommerce – Sell Tickets, Event Registration, RSVP & Event Calendar: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-17166 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Event Booking Manager for WooCommerce – Sell Tickets, Event Registration, RSVP & Event Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.3.7. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to modify site-wide payment settings — including WooCommerce payment enablement, cart redirect behavior, login requirements for checkout, confirmation page ID, and confirmed ticket statuses — that govern how all event bookings are processed.

  • Jul 28, 2026GamiPress – Gamification plugin to reward points, achievements, badges & ranks in: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-15730 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The GamiPress – Gamification plugin to reward points, achievements, badges & ranks in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'heading_size' Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 7.9.9.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wp_kses_post filter applied at post save does not neutralize this payload because only the inert shortcode text is stored in post_content; the dangerous HTML is synthesized at render time by the shortcode handler, entirely bypassing save-time sanitization.

  • Jul 24, 2026EventON Action User: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-10033 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.3

The EventON Action User plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.14. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to grant EventON management capabilities and the upload_files capability to any non-administrator WordPress role or user, escalating their privileges within the site. The administrator role is protected by an early-return guard in update_role_caps(), so only non-administrator roles and individual users can be targeted; however, the same unauthenticated exposure also allows attackers to enumerate all WordPress users with their IDs and display names, disclose role and user capability state along with nonce values, and tamper with event-to-user term assignments.

  • Jul 23, 2026Tickera – Sell Tickets & Manage Events: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-15761 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Tickera – Sell Tickets & Manage Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'tc_event_filter' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.0.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with staff-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The vulnerable code path is reachable by users holding the plugin's custom Staff role, as the plugin's add_required_capabilities() function grants that role the edit_tc_tickets_instances capability, providing access to the tc_tickets_instances admin list screen where the filter is applied.

  • Jul 23, 2026MDJM Event Management: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-15017 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The MDJM Event Management plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.8.4. This is due to missing capability checks and nonce verification in the `MDJM_Permissions::set_permissions()` and `MDJM_Employee_Manager::init()` functions, combined with the absence of server-side allow-list validation on the `employee_roles[]` and `new_role` POST parameters before they are passed to `mdjm_set_employee_role()` and `WP_User::set_role()`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to grant arbitrary MDJM capabilities — including `mdjm_employee` and `mdjm_employee_edit` — to any registered WordPress role, and subsequently leverage a subscriber-level account to escalate privileges to Administrator. `MDJM_Permissions::init()` is registered on the public WordPress `init` hook without any authentication gate, meaning the role-manipulation endpoint is reachable without any prior login.

  • Jul 23, 2026Registrations For The Events Calendar: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-13119 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Registrations For The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via JSON keys in the 'standard' parameter handled by the rtec_records_edit AJAX action in versions up to and including 3.2. The handler decodes attacker-controlled JSON from $_POST['standard'] and uses the JSON array keys directly as column identifiers in the SET clause of an UPDATE statement built inside RTEC_Db_Admin::update_entry(). Only esc_sql() (mysqli_real_escape_string) is applied to the identifier; that function escapes quotes, backslashes, and a few control characters but does not escape spaces, equals signs, parentheses, or hyphens, so an attacker can break out of the identifier context and inject subqueries (terminated with a SQL comment). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above who can edit the targeted event, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

The Events Manager WordPress plugin before 7.3.7 does not safely handle booking-registration data on sites using No-User-Account Booking Mode: a booker-supplied registration field is stored as booking meta and later deserialized without restricting allowed classes, enabling PHP object injection. The resulting gadget chain reaches a database query that is built without parameterisation, so an unauthenticated attacker can read arbitrary database data (e.g. user password hashes, secret keys) when the booking is later loaded.

  • Jul 10, 2026Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered): Authorization bypassCVE-2026-13039 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to a regression in versions from 4.0.26 up to and including 4.1.15. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action in the payment_complete() function of PaymentController.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to mark unpaid ticket orders as completed by submitting a fabricated SureCart checkout ID or FluentCart cart hash, granting themselves paid event access, QR-code attendee tickets, and order confirmation emails without making any real payment. The wp_rest nonce required to reach the vulnerable endpoint is embedded in every public event page, meaning no WordPress session or credentials are needed to obtain it. This vulnerability represents a regression — the same function and endpoint were previously patched but the fix did not persist through subsequent releases.

The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'etn_faq_content' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.15 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Jul 9, 2026EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-13441 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The EventPrime – Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'new_event_type_background_color' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the plugin's Guest Submissions setting (allow_submission_by_anonymous_user) to be enabled, which allows unauthenticated attackers to submit event types via the frontend form; when that setting is disabled, exploitation requires at minimum a subscriber-level authenticated account.

The GamiPress – Gamification plugin to reward points, achievements, badges & ranks in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 7.9.4 via the 'access' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view private GamiPress activity log entries belonging to any user, including badge earnings, points balance changes, and event records from integrated plugins such as WooCommerce, LearnDash, and BuddyPress. This is exploitable by any unauthenticated visitor because the required 'gamipress' nonce is broadcast to all front-end users via wp_localize_script on the wp_enqueue_scripts hook, making the sole authentication barrier trivially bypassable.

The Everest Forms WordPress plugin before 3.5.0 does not correctly restrict access to several REST API endpoints belonging to its onboarding assistant: the capability check is only applied when an attacker-controllable request header holds a specific value, so it can be bypassed by omitting or changing that header. • Jul 8, 2026Eventer: An insecure password reset mechanismCVE-2026-9701 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Eventer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to an insecure password reset mechanism in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.2. The plugin stores a plaintext copy of the password reset key in the `eventer_verification_code` user meta field when a user requests a password reset. The plaintext key stored in `wp_usermeta` can be used with the plugin's custom reset action to set a new password for any user. Combined with another vulnerability such as SQL Injection (CVE-2026-9700), this makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the plaintext reset key and take over any user account, including administrators. Note: The password reset function only works up to PHP version 7.4.
