Sep 21, 2026MCP-for-Stata is a MCP server for integrating Stata into agent loops with a safety-first design.CVE-2026-55071 · Other software · SepineTam · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
MCP-for-Stata is a MCP server for integrating Stata into agent loops with a safety-first design. Prior to version 1.19.0, the ado_package_install MCP tool in stata-mcp concatenates user-controlled input directly into a Stata command string without any validation or sanitization. An attacker who can invoke the MCP tool or the equivalent Python API can embed newline characters in the package argument to inject arbitrary Stata commands. Because Stata supports a shell escape command, this leads to full OS-level arbitrary command execution (RCE) under the account running the Stata-MCP server. The tool is registered in the default all profile, so no non-default configuration is required. This issue has been patched in version 1.19.0.

Sep 21, 2026github.com/temporalio/tchannel-go did not reject TChannel call fragments containing checksum metadata but no length-prefixed argument chunks.CVE-2026-65653 · Other software · Temporal Technologies, Inc. · reported by security@temporal.ioHigh 8.7
github.com/temporalio/tchannel-go did not reject TChannel call fragments containing checksum metadata but no length-prefixed argument chunks. The fragment reader left its chunk slice empty and then unconditionally selected the first element. A network peer can supply such a malformed call fragment, including as a direct initial call request after completing the standard initialization handshake. On that inbound path, the resulting unrecovered Go slice-bounds panic occurs on a library-created dispatch goroutine and terminates the hosting process. This allows remote denial of service against applications that expose the listener to untrusted peers. The impact is limited to availability; no confidentiality or integrity impact was identified.

Sep 19, 2026Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchroCVE-2026-82672 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3
Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchronize a strict intermediary and the Mint client on a pooled connection, enabling response-queue poisoning against subsequent requests that share the connection. Mint.HTTP1.Parse.chunk_size/1 in lib/mint/http1/parse.ex stops at the first non-hexadecimal byte of a chunked response's chunk-size line and returns the remainder unexamined. Mint.HTTP1.decode_body/5 in lib/mint/http1.ex then discards every byte up to the CRLF with Parse.ignore_until_crlf/1, so the accepted grammar is a run of hex digits followed by arbitrary bytes, where RFC 9112 permits only a ;-introduced chunk extension. Lines such as 5ZZZZZ and 5 9 are accepted as chunk size 5, and 0ZZZZ is accepted as the terminating chunk that ends the message body. An RFC-strict intermediary rejects such a line while Mint accepts it, so the two disagree on chunk boundaries and on where the response ends. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.10.1.

Sep 18, 2026Mapster WP Maps: Arbitrary User Meta WriteCVE-2026-12954 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Mapster WP Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary User Meta Write in all versions up to, and including, 1.23.0 via the `my_profile_update()` function. This is due to the function performing no nonce verification, no capability check, and no allowlist validation on the meta key supplied via the `acf-photo-gallery-groups` POST parameter before passing both the meta key and its corresponding value directly to `update_user_meta()`. The Approval app's approve/reject endpoint is meant to require the file's current etag as a freshness check, preventing an approver from approving or rejecting a file whose contents changed after they reviewed it. The backend only enforced this check when the etag parameter was present and non-empty in the request. An attacker able to intercept and modify the approval request could omit the etag field entirely, bypassing the freshness check and approving or rejecting a file version they never reviewed.

Sep 17, 2026Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data.CVE-2026-50022 · Other software · NCEAS · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8
Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data. Prior to 3.4.2, MetacatSolrIndex.query forwards the client-controlled qt parameter through Apache SolrJ from search endpoints such as /d1/mn/v2/query/solr/ to its privileged Solr backend. An unauthenticated client can select the /admin/file handler, and SolrJ reformats the parameter into a request accepted even when handleSelect=false is configured on Solr 7.0 or later. When Solr returns the selected core configuration file, Metacat embeds the raw content in an XML processing error response, disclosing internal files such as solrconfig.xml and enabling infrastructure profiling. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.2.

Sep 17, 2026SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles.CVE-2026-54692 · Other software · HappySeaFox · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8
SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. Prior to 1.0.0, sail_codec_load_frame_v8_xbm() in src/sail-codecs/xbm/xbm.c allocates the decoded pixel buffer using the X11 one-byte-per-literal layout, but an X10 static short file causes the flat decode loop to write two file-controlled bytes per literal. When ceil(width/8) produces an odd row stride, the X10 literal count includes a padding byte for every row, but the destination has no space for those bytes, so loading the XBM through sail_load_from_file, sail_load_from_memory, or sail_start_loading_* produces a forward heap overwrite that scales with image height. The X11 static char path is not affected. The overwrite can corrupt process state, cause reliable crashes, and potentially enable code execution in a susceptible consuming application. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0.

Sep 17, 2026SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles.CVE-2026-54627 · Other software · HappySeaFox · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8
SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. In 0.9.10 and earlier, psd_private_sail_pixel_format() in src/sail-codecs/psd/helpers.c resolves a one-channel PSD in Bitmap color mode to SAIL_PIXEL_FORMAT_BPP1_INDEXED without requiring the file depth to be one, so the pixel buffer uses one-bit rows while sail_codec_load_frame_v8_psd() in src/sail-codecs/psd/psd.c accepts depth == 8 and writes one attacker-controlled byte per pixel. Loading a crafted PSD through sail_load_from_file() or sail_load_from_memory() therefore writes beyond each heap row, causing memory corruption, a reliable crash, or potential code execution. This mode/depth mismatch is distinct from GHSA-rcqx-gc76-r9mv and GHSA-wcj8-hxxf-pq2c. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0.

Sep 17, 2026SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles.CVE-2026-54626 · Other software · HappySeaFox · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8
SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. In 0.9.10 and earlier, the TGA_INDEXED_RLE path selected by image_type == 9 allocates an image buffer using the one-byte-per-pixel SAIL_PIXEL_FORMAT_BPP8_INDEXED format returned by tga_private_sail_pixel_format() in src/sail-codecs/tga/helpers.c, while sail_codec_load_frame_v8_tga() in src/sail-codecs/tga/tga.c derives a two-to-four-byte pixel_size from an attacker-controlled header bpp value from 9 through 32. Loading a crafted color-mapped run-length-encoded TGA through sail_load_from_file() or sail_load_from_memory() therefore writes attacker-controlled bytes beyond the heap pixel buffer. The pixel-count clamp added for CVE-2026-40494 does not constrain the per-pixel write width, so this issue is an incomplete fix of that vulnerability and can cause heap corruption, a reliable crash, or potential code execution. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0.

Sep 17, 2026Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud.CVE-2026-45726 · Other software · siderolabs · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6
Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud. From 1.3.0 until 1.6.6 and 1.7.3, importing a standalone Talos cluster creates an ImportedClusterSecrets resource containing the cluster's complete CA secrets bundle. The access rules in internal/backend/runtime/omni/state_access.go allow an authenticated user with the Reader role to retrieve the resource through ResourceService if the importing actor has not rotated those secrets, exposing Kubernetes, Talos, and etcd CA private keys plus the service-account key. The Kubernetes CA private key permits certificate signing for privileged identities such as system:masters and provides control of the imported cluster outside Omni's authorization boundary, including its workloads, credentials, and secrets. This issue is fixed in versions 1.6.6 and 1.7.3.

Sep 17, 2026Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud.CVE-2026-45723 · Other software · siderolabs · reported by GitHubLow 2.7
Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud. Prior to 1.6.6 and 1.7.3, managementServer.CreateSchematic in internal/backend/grpc/schematics.go passes the caller-controlled TalosVersion field to imageFactoryClient.OverlaysVersions without validating it as a version. An authenticated Operator can submit traversal segments in TalosVersion, and url.URL.JoinPath normalizes them into unintended paths on the configured image-factory host. Omni then issues HTTP GET requests to those paths and reflects error-body content, enabling same-host endpoint probing and possible disclosure of internal diagnostics while preventing redirection to another host or write requests. This issue is fixed in versions 1.6.6 and 1.7.3.

Sep 17, 2026Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud.CVE-2026-45720 · Other software · siderolabs · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud. Prior to 1.6.6 and from 1.7.0 until 1.7.3, SAML.getSession in internal/pkg/auth/interceptor/saml.go checks SAMLAssertion.Used and marks it used in separate state operations. Concurrent requests carrying the same captured saml-session token can each observe the assertion as unused and obtain authentication as the victim before either update is visible. The attacker can invoke SAML-protected gRPC endpoints, use ConfirmPublicKey to create multiple persistent credentials tied to the victim, and generate audit entries attributed to the victim, with the resulting access potentially affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability according to the victim's privileges. This issue is fixed in versions 1.6.6 and 1.7.3.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rpmsg: glink: fix deadlock in endpoint destroy during driver detach During driver detach, CVE-2026-93098 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rpmsg: glink: fix deadlock in endpoint destroy during driver detach During driver detach, the device core holds the device mutex throughout the driver's remove callback chain. When the rpmsg endpoint is destroyed as part of that teardown, the GLINK endpoint destroy implementation attempts to unregister the underlying rpmsg device. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: part: reject MTDPART_OFS_RETAIN in mtd_add_partition() mtd_add_partition() does not reject the special offset value MTDPART_OFS_RETAIN (-3), which leads to a WARN_ON in add_mtd_device() when called through the BLKPG ioctl on NAND devices. The RETAIN value depends on cur_offset being the end of the previous partition, but in the dynamic partition path cur_offset equals the offset argument itself, causing undefined behavior. Commit 5daa7b21496a ("mtd: prepare partition add and del functions for ioctl requests") introduced mtd_add_partition() and correctly rejected MTDPART_OFS_APPEND (-1) and MTDPART_OFS_NXTBLK (-2), since those special offsets rely on cur_offset tracking the previous partition's end. However, commit 1a31368bf92e ("mtd: add a flags for partitions which should just leave smth. after them") later added MTDPART_OFS_RETAIN (-3) for the static partition table path without updating mtd_add_partition() to also reject this value. With offset=-3 passed via BLKPG, the RETAIN size calculation in allocate_partition() underflows (parent_size - 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFD = parent_size + 3). If the underflow result

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: validate external xattr entries when reading metadata ocfs2_validate_xattr_block() checks the xattr block header before the block reaches higher-level xattr users, but it does not verify that a non-indexed block's xh_count and entry offsets fit inside the block. Indexed buckets likewise reach list/get consumers after ECC without an entry-bounds check. Use the flat xattr entry validator for non-indexed external xattr blocks, and use a bucket-specific validator for indexed buckets at metadata read time. The bucket validator keeps the entry array bounded by the first bucket block while checking name/value offsets against the bucket block they target. Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zoned: flush active metadata block group at btree_writepages() start btree_writepagCVE-2026-90261 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zoned: flush active metadata block group at btree_writepages() start btree_writepages() writes the btree inode's dirty metadata in ascending logical address order. On a zoned filesystem only one metadata and one system block group is active for writing at a time, and check_bg_is_active() (via btrfs_check_meta_write_pointer()) pivots the active block group as writeback moves from one block group to the next. If the active block group sits at a higher logical address than another block group that also holds dirty metadata, the ascending walk reaches the lower one first and, to write it, has to finish the active block group and activate the lower one. It cannot finish a block group that still has unsent IO, and during WB_SYNC_ALL && !for_sync (commit) writeback it deliberately refuses to wait for that IO under fs_info->zoned_meta_io_lock, as that can deadlock. The pivot thus cannot issue the submission itself either, so it gives up: btrfs_check_meta_write_pointer() returns -EAGAIN, which btrfs_write_and_wait_transaction() treats as fatal and aborts the transaction, forcing the filesystem read-only. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: detach blocked lock requests before freeing A file_lock retained by ksmbd for byte-range lock bookkeeping can still be part of the VFS blocked-request graph. In particular, the VFS can chain a new waiter below an already blocked request through flc_blocked_requests. The ksmbd_file reference count does not cover that graph. Both __ksmbd_close_fd() and the cross-request unlock path free these retained file_lock objects directly. If a dependent waiter is still attached, locks_release_private() hits BUG_ON(!list_empty(&flc->flc_blocked_requests)). The same lifetime mismatch can leave a freed ksmbd_lock reachable through its request-local llist. Detach the file_lock from the blocked-request graph before freeing it in the close, cross-request unlock, and rollback paths. locks_delete_block() also wakes requests chained below the object. Remove llist when a completed lock is published so a globally visible ksmbd_lock no longer points into the submitting worker's stack.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: honor XDP_TX_METADATA in zero-copy path The zero-copy path reads TX metadata whenever the UMEM has metadata space, even if the descriptor does not set XDP_TX_METADATA. Pass descriptor options through the metadata helpers and ignore metadata unless the option is set. This does not fix the existing per-WQE metadata handling for mlx5 MPWQEs. Only the descriptor that starts a session passes through xsk_tx_metadata_request() and configures offload state shared by the batch. Metadata on descriptors joining an open session is therefore not validated and does not configure its requested offloads. In addition, a non-NULL metadata pointer from such a descriptor is treated as a timestamp completion request even when XDP_TXMD_FLAGS_TIMESTAMP is not set, so its metadata union can be overwritten with an unrequested timestamp. Fixing mixed metadata states within one MPWQE requires a separate change.

`tts-be` is a backend for a timetable selector that aims to help students better choose their class schedules. Versions prior to 2.1.0 have a Broken Access Control vulnerability across several API endpoints (such as `/api/student/{id}/photo` and `/api/course_unit/{id}/exchange/metadata`). By chaining these unauthenticated endpoints, a remote attacker can use the backend as an open proxy to bypass authorization checks, allowing for the enumeration and extraction of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from upstream university systems. The exposed data includes full names, student IDs, class schedules, and photos. This issue was fixed in version 2.1.0.

Sep 15, 2026In Concrete CMS before 9.5.3, the SEO Bulk Update Meta Tags editor did not check per-page edit permissions before saving.CVE-2026-81923 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deLow 2.1
In Concrete CMS before 9.5.3, the SEO Bulk Update Meta Tags editor did not check per-page edit permissions before saving. The saveRecord() action validated the per-page CSRF token but never called canEditPageProperties() for the target page, so a user who was granted access to the bulk SEO tool and could view (but not edit) a given page was able to change that page's meta title, meta description, and URL handle outside their edit scope, tampering with the presentation and live URLs of otherwise protected content. Sep 15, 2026Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads.CVE-2026-54549 · Other software · pipeboard-co · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads. Prior to version 1.0.115, the upload_ad_image tool in meta_ads_mcp/core/ads.py passes an attacker-controlled image_url to try_multiple_download_methods() in meta_ads_mcp/core/utils.py, where httpx.AsyncClient uses follow_redirects=True and performs HTTP requests without validating the scheme, host, or resolved IP address. In a streamable-http deployment, a network caller can use any non-empty authorization value because Meta credential validation occurs after the image download, then direct the server to loopback services, private-network addresses, cloud metadata endpoints, or redirect-chained internal targets. The resulting server-side request forgery can expose internal data, invoke state-changing internal services, or disrupt reachable services. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.115.

Sep 15, 2026Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads.CVE-2026-54547 · Other software · pipeboard-co · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads. Prior to version 1.0.115, AuthInjectionMiddleware in meta_ads_mcp/core/http_auth_integration.py rejects HTTP MCP requests only when both auth_token and pipeboard_token are absent, while extract_token_from_headers() does not recognize X-Pipeboard-Token as a primary credential. A network caller using the streamable-http transport can therefore send any X-Pipeboard-Token value, pass the guard without establishing authentication context, and cause get_auth_token() to fall back to the server operator's META_ACCESS_TOKEN. Subsequent MCP tools execute with the operator's Meta credentials and can read or modify the operator's Meta Ads data. Deployments using the default stdio transport or without META_ACCESS_TOKEN are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.115.
