  • Oct 15, 2026Grafana's data source proxy did not apply role-based access control to write requests forwarded to Loki data sources.CVE-2026-9703 · Other software · Grafana · reported by security@grafana.comHigh 7.1

Grafana's data source proxy did not apply role-based access control to write requests forwarded to Loki data sources. A user holding only the Viewer role on an affected Grafana instance could send POST, PUT and DELETE requests through the proxy to the Loki rules API (/loki/api/v1/rules), allowing them to create, modify and delete Loki alerting rules. Because those rules are stored by Loki rather than by Grafana, the change took effect for every user of that Loki data source, not only for the Viewer who made the request. Exploitation requires an authenticated Viewer account on the Grafana instance and a configured Loki data source; no other privileges are needed. Both Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise are affected. The defect is in Grafana's data source proxy; Loki itself is not vulnerable and does not need to be patched.

In Eclipse Jetty, HttpClient may receive a redirect of the form: ``` /secure/../evil ``` If an attacker is able to control the redirects, then HttpClient matches authentication credentials against `/secure` rather than normalizing the path to `/evil`, and will therefore follow the redirect sending the `Authorization` header for `/secure` to `/evil`. • Oct 14, 2026Hestia Control Panel is a lightweight and powerful control panel for the modern web.CVE-2026-108390 · Other software · hestiacp · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9

Hestia Control Panel is a lightweight and powerful control panel for the modern web. From version 1.9.7 through 1.10.4, update_object_value() in func/main.sh does not escape single quotes when writing a custom document-root value to a user's web.conf file, allowing a low-privileged authenticated panel user with a web domain to inject an additional PATH field. When the user invokes the ordinary Search feature, the root-privileged v-search-user-object script loads the forged field through parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), which permits reserved shell-variable names and globally replaces PATH before invoking column without an absolute path. By placing a malicious column executable in the injected search path, the user can execute arbitrary code as root. This residual vulnerability was introduced when version 1.9.7 replaced the raw eval sink addressed by CVE-2026-84984 with parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), and it is fixed in version 1.10.5.

  • Oct 14, 2026Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via a trCVE-2026-105659 · Other software · mtrudel · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.7

Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via a trickle of small WINDOW_UPDATE frames. A stream whose response outruns the connection or stream send window blocks until the peer grants more window, and each block carries a 15 second deadline. Both deadlines restart whenever the peer makes partial progress. Bandit.HTTP2.Connection.finish_data/5 re-queues a partially advanced send in pending_sends with a fresh expires_at, so every WINDOW_UPDATE on stream 0, and every SETTINGS frame, resets the clock. Bandit.HTTP2.Stream.send_data/3 recurses on each stream WINDOW_UPDATE and re-arms a fresh after read_timeout. A peer that grants a few bytes every few seconds keeps the blocked stream process, its Plug state and any resource it holds mid-response alive for as long as it keeps dripping, and repeats this across streams and connections to exhaust server processes and memory. The two paths are independent. The stream-level block is reached on its own by widening the connection window with a large WINDOW_UPDATE on stream 0 and shrinking the per-stream window with a small SETTINGS_INI

An OS command injection vulnerability in the CLI of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows a local, low privileged attacker to take complete control of the device. • Oct 14, 2026An authentication and authorization bypass vulnerability exists in F5 NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller (NIC) when configured with the `ExternalAuth` policy oCVE-2026-94197 · Network & remote access · F5 · reported by f5sirt@f5.comHigh 8.7

An authentication and authorization bypass vulnerability exists in F5 NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller (NIC) when configured with the `ExternalAuth` policy or Ingress external authentication. Client-supplied X-Forwarded-Prefix, X-Forwarded-URI, X-Original-URI, and X-Forwarded-Method routing and method headers are forwarded unsanitized into the internal authentication subrequest (handled by the NGINX auth_request directive). As a result, an unauthenticated, remote attacker may spoof request attributes evaluated by the external authentication provider. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers unauthenticated access to protected paths. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Description NGINX Ingress Controller has a vulnerability when implementing an externalAuth policy for ingress. NGINX Ingress Controller may mishandle the HTTP response from an OAuth IdP and allow an attacker to acquire unauthenticated access to protected paths before the proper external authentication can happen. Impact This vulnerability may allow remote attackers unauthenticated access to protected paths. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.

  • Oct 14, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: codel: bound the dropping loop per dequeue call The CoDel control law schedulesCVE-2026-98427 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: codel: bound the dropping loop per dequeue call The CoDel control law schedules the next drop one interval/sqrt(count) after the previous drop, using the configured interval (codel_params.interval). For very small intervals the scheduled step rounds down to zero, so the dropping loop in codel_dequeue() never advances and drains the entire backlog under the qdisc lock in one call - an unprivileged user can trigger a soft lockup this way. Fix in the shared codel code used by both codel and fq_codel: 1. Make the control-law step at least 1 tick so the dropping loop always moves forward. 2. Cap the dropping loop at CODEL_MAX_DROPS_PER_DEQUEUE (256) drops per codel_dequeue() call, resyncing drop_next to now when the cap is hit: the catch-up owed to the loop grows with the idle gap and the backlog, which no interval threshold can bound. This is a deliberate behaviour change after long idle gaps. The cap applies to fq_codel (4b549a2ef4be) and the mac80211 TXQ path (fixed interval, cap only). The target sojourn delay (codel_params.target) is not validated: it does not feed the control law,
