  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/hdcp: check streams[] bounds before overflow The data->streams[] overflow check iCVE-2026-68253 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/hdcp: check streams[] bounds before overflow The data->streams[] overflow check is done after the buffer overflow has already happened. Move the overflow check before the write. Side note, emitting a warning splat with a backtrace might be overkill here, but prefer not changing the behaviour other than not doing the overrun. Discovered using AI-assisted static analysis confirmed by Intel Product Security. (cherry picked from commit 9284ab3b6e776c315883ac2611283d263c9460fd)

  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: mali-c55: Fix possible ERR_PTR in enable_streams The media_pad_remote_pad_unique() CVE-2026-68224 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: mali-c55: Fix possible ERR_PTR in enable_streams The media_pad_remote_pad_unique() function returns either a valid pointer or an ERR_PTR() on failure (-ENOTUNIQ if multiple links are enabled, -ENOLINK if no connected pad is found). The return value was assigned directly to isp->remote_src and dereferenced in the next line without checking for errors, which could lead to an ERR_PTR dereference. Add proper error checking with IS_ERR() before dereferencing the pointer. Also set isp->remote_src to NULL on error to maintain consistency with other error paths in the function.

  • Aug 7, 2026PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system.CVE-2026-48169 · Other software · MervinPraison · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Versions prior to 0.1.4 of the PraisonAI Platform API have two authorization failures that together break workspace isolation. The service layer for issues and projects performs global primary-key lookups without checking workspace ownership, so any authenticated user can read, modify, and delete resources in any workspace just by swapping UUIDs in their API requests. On top of that, every member management endpoint (add, update role, remove) only requires `min_role="member"`, which lets any workspace member promote themselves to owner and kick out the original owner. A low-privilege member of one workspace can steal data from every other workspace and take over any workspace they belong to. Both issues come from the same gap: the route layer pulls `workspace_id` from the URL and verifies membership, but the service layer ignores the workspace scope for resource lookups and ignores the caller's role level for member operations. The `require_workspace_member()` dependency does its job correctly. The problem is that the service layer doesn't use the information it provides. Version 0.1.4 of the PraisonAI Platform API patch the issue.

  • Aug 6, 2026Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts.CVE-2026-71439 · Other software · mermaid-js · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. From version 11.6.0 until 11.16.1, Mermaid Radar Diagrams allow arbitrary large values for the ticks parameter, which can cause high CPU usage and freeze the rendering webpage or JavaScript process for long periods of time, potentially until the process is killed from memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 11.16.1.

  • Aug 6, 2026Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts.CVE-2026-71438 · Other software · mermaid-js · reported by GitHubLow 2.4

Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. Prior to 10.9.8 and 11.16.1, Mermaid's configuration setters (mermaid.initialize, mermaidAPI.setConfig, and mermaidAPI.updateSiteConfig) merge caller-supplied configuration into Mermaid's internal config using the assignWithDepth deep-merge helper, which is vulnerable to prototype pollution. This is only exploitable if an application forwards untrusted data directly into one of these configuration entry points, which is outside their documented usage; diagram-supplied configuration (e.g. %%{init: {}}%% or YAML frontmatter) is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 10.9.8 and 11.16.1.

Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. From version 11.5.0 until 11.16.1, Mermaid Architecture Diagrams are vulnerable to prototype pollution when a diagram defines a group with an id of __proto__. Because the group id is used directly as an object property key without validation, an attacker who can supply diagram text can pollute Object.prototype, potentially affecting the behavior of the embedding application. This issue is fixed in version 11.16.1.

Mermaid is a JavaScript tool that uses Markdown-inspired text to create and modify diagrams and charts. From version 10.6.0 until 10.9.8 and 11.16.1, Mermaid XY Charts are vulnerable to an infinite loop denial of service in the setXAxisRangeData function when configuring an X-Axis with invalid parameters. Because each loop iteration appends an element to an array, this generally causes a RangeError to appear after a few seconds, but it may instead cause the page or JavaScript process to crash from memory exhaustion, depending on the environment. This issue is fixed in versions 10.9.8 and 11.16.1.

  • Aug 5, 2026PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system.CVE-2026-55524 · Other software · MervinPraison · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions prior to 1.6.58, the web_crawl tool performs its SSRF check only on the initially supplied URL, allowing the protection to be bypassed so the tool connects to attacker-chosen internal destinations. The check resolves the hostname once with socket.gethostbyname and rejects private/loopback/link-local results, but then passes the URL to a fetcher using httpx.Client(follow_redirects=True) (or urllib.request.urlopen when httpx is absent, which also follows redirects) that re-resolves the hostname at connect time with no further validation. This validate-here/fetch-there gap is exploitable through both HTTP redirects and DNS rebinding. If an attacker can influence URLs passed to web_crawl(), directly or through an agent/tool workflow, they can cause the PraisonAI host to fetch loopback, private-network, or cloud metadata endpoints reachable from that host, with the response body returned in the web_crawl() result. This issue has been fixed in version 1.6.58.

  • Aug 5, 2026PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system.CVE-2026-55523 · Other software · MervinPraison · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions 1.5.128 through 1.6.57, the praisonaiagents.tools.web_crawl_tools.web_crawl() function is vulnerable to server-side request forgery. While it validates the initially supplied URL and blocks direct loopback and private destinations, its default httpx fallback uses httpx.Client(follow_redirects=True) and does not revalidate intermediate or final redirect targets. An attacker who can influence a URL passed to web_crawl(), directly or through an agent or tool workflow, can supply an attacker-controlled public URL that passes the initial host check and then redirects to loopback, private-network, or cloud metadata endpoints reachable from the host, with the redirected response body returned in the web_crawl() result. This constitutes an incomplete fix and patch bypass for the previously disclosed web_crawl SSRF class (GHSA-qq9r-63f6-v542 / CVE-2026-40160 and GHSA-8f4v-xfm9-3244), since the guard validates only the requested URL and not the destination actually fetched after redirection. This issue has been fixed in version 1.6.58.

  • Aug 5, 2026PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system.CVE-2026-55522 · Other software · MervinPraison · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8

PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions 3.9.26 through 4.6.57 of praiseonai and 0.12.12 through 1.6.57 of praiseonaiagents, the workflow "include" feature is vulnerable to code execution. Workflow._execute_include() implicitly imports and runs an included recipe's tools.py via a raw importlib.util.spec_from_file_location() and spec.loader.exec_module() call, without honoring the PRAISONAI_ALLOW_TEMPLATE_TOOLS/PRAISONAI_ALLOW_LOCAL_TOOLS autoload opt-in gates or routing through the centralized safe loader that protects the other tools.py autoload paths. As a result, a workflow that includes an attacker-controlled local recipe directory executes arbitrary module-level Python code during include setup, before any child workflow parsing or model call, and the same sink is reachable through the higher-level praisonai.recipe.run() recipe API. An attacker who can cause a victim process to run a workflow or recipe that includes an untrusted local recipe achieves arbitrary Python code execution as the PraisonAI process user, a variant that bypasses the hardening applied to the previously disclosed automatic tools.py RCE advisory family. This issue has been fixed in version 4.6.

  • Aug 5, 2026PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system.CVE-2026-48168 · Other software · MervinPraison · reported by GitHubCritical 10

PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions prior to 4.6.40, the bundled Claude GitHub Actions workflow is vulnerable to command injection because it embeds an attacker-controlled pull request branch name into a Bash run: block without quoting or validation. Additionally, the workflow allows any @claude comment to trigger the job regardless of whether the commenter is a trusted collaborator. An outside contributor can open a pull request from a fork whose branch name contains shell metacharacters and comment @claude, causing Bash to execute arbitrary shell code in the GitHub Actions runner. Because these commands run in a job holding a GitHub App token with write permissions, OIDC access, and gh/git access, the injection can be chained through $GITHUB_PATH to compromise later privileged steps, enabling repository writes, pull request and issue manipulation, or OIDC-token abuse. This issue has been fixed in version 4.6.40.

  • Jul 31, 2026The Zephyr Bluetooth GATT client CCC-write response handler gatt_write_ccc_rsp() in subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c invoked the application's params->subscribe() cCVE-2026-10685 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.6

The Zephyr Bluetooth GATT client CCC-write response handler gatt_write_ccc_rsp() in subsys/bluetooth/host/gatt.c invoked the application's params->subscribe() callback after it had already called params->notify(conn, params, NULL, 0). Per the public GATT API, a notify callback with NULL data is the documented signal that the subscription has terminated and the bt_gatt_subscribe_params struct may be freed or reused by the application; calling subscribe() on the struct afterwards is a use-after-free, including an indirect call through the freed params->subscribe function pointer. The error branch is remotely (adjacent) reachable: a Zephyr device acting as a GATT client that calls bt_gatt_subscribe() can be driven into this ordering when a connected GATT server peer answers the CCC write with an ATT Error Response (the peer-supplied error code flows through att_error_rsp -> att_handle_rsp into gatt_write_ccc_rsp). For applications that free or recycle subscription parameters in their notification-termination handler, this results in memory corruption, a crash (denial of service), or potentially attacker-influenced control flow. The fix reorders the handler so the subscribe() callba
