  • Jun 18, 2026Stored cross-site scripting in pgAdmin 4's error-rendering and plan-node-rendering paths.CVE-2026-12048 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Critical 9.3

Stored cross-site scripting in pgAdmin 4's error-rendering and plan-node-rendering paths. Text returned by a PostgreSQL server (ErrorResponse messages, including object names quoted back inside relation-does-not-exist errors and inside EXPLAIN Recheck Cond / Exact Heap Blocks fields) was passed verbatim through html-react-parser at every user-facing sink — the notifier toasts, FormFooterMessage / FormInput help and error areas, FormNote, ModalProvider AlertContent and confirmDelete, ToolErrorView, the Explain visualiser's NodeText panel, the SQL editor confirm dialogs, ConfirmSaveContent, PreferencesHelper modal alerts, and SelectThemes helper text. A PostgreSQL server an attacker controls — or any server returning attacker-influenced text such as a table or column name a low-privilege database user can create — could inject arbitrary HTML (including <iframe>) into the pgAdmin DOM the moment the victim's pgAdmin connected to that server or viewed an Explain plan that referenced the crafted object. The injected iframe's srcdoc could fetch attacker-served JavaScript and, by writing to parent.location, redirect the victim's top-level pgAdmin browser tab to an attacker-controlled URL.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. • Jun 18, 2026PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12098 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'embed' Episode Meta Field in all versions up to, and including, 11.16.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The embed value is stored via update_post_meta() rather than through WordPress core's post content pipeline, meaning kses-on-save filtering is never applied — even for Author-role users who would otherwise lack unfiltered_html — making this path unprotected by WordPress's standard role-based XSS mitigations.

  • Jun 17, 2026marimo before 0.23.9 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the notebook page that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaCVE-2026-54386 · Other software · marimo-team · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1

marimo before 0.23.9 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the notebook page that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript by exploiting improper escaping of single quotes in the file query parameter reflected into an inline JavaScript string literal. Attackers can craft a malicious link with a payload beginning with __new__ to bypass the 404 check and inject JavaScript into the page, which executes without Content-Security-Policy restrictions in the origin of a victim's marimo server.

  • Jun 17, 2026Improper Neutralization of Script in Attributes in a Web Page vulnerability in pragdave earmark allows stored cross-site scripting via unescaped HTML attribute CVE-2026-48591 · Other software · pragdave · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 4.8

Improper Neutralization of Script in Attributes in a Web Page vulnerability in pragdave earmark allows stored cross-site scripting via unescaped HTML attribute values. 'Elixir.Earmark.Transform':_make_att1/2 in lib/earmark/transform.ex splices attribute values verbatim between two literal " bytes: [" ", name, "=\"", value, "\""]. Text nodes are routed through the existing escape function which encodes " as ", but attribute values never visit that path. A markdown link whose URL or title contains a bare " closes the attribute early and lets the trailing bytes be parsed by the browser as fresh HTML attributes. For example, [click](http://example.com/?a=x" onerror="alert(1)) renders as <a href="http://example.com/?a=x" onerror="alert(1)">click</a>, executing arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser. The earmark library is no longer maintained and has been retired on Hex. No patched version will be released. All releases from 1.4.1 onward are affected, and users should migrate to a maintained Markdown library such as MDEx. This issue affects earmark from 1.4.1 onward.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
