  • Oct 8, 2026Ollama is vulnerable to path traversal in the `/api/pull` endpoint due to insufficient validation of layer digests by the `digestToPath` function.CVE-2026-103663 · Other software · Ollama · reported by cvd@cert.plCritical 9.4

Ollama is vulnerable to path traversal in the `/api/pull` endpoint due to insufficient validation of layer digests by the `digestToPath` function. An unauthenticated remote attacker can specify a path traversal sequence as a layer digest, causing a malicious binary to be written outside the model store.  Critically if the server process has write access to `/usr/lib/ollama` (the default in most Ollama Docker images), an attacker can write the malicious file to that directory. On the next server restart, the file is loaded and executed, resulting in remote code execution as root. This issue was fixed in version 0.35.0.

  • Oct 6, 2026Improper authentication (CWE-287) in the OAuth token endpoint in Cloud Foundry UAA allows a remote, authenticated attacker holding a valid user access token to CVE-2026-59358 · Other software · Cloud Foundry · reported by security@vmware.comHigh 7.6

Improper authentication (CWE-287) in the OAuth token endpoint in Cloud Foundry UAA allows a remote, authenticated attacker holding a valid user access token to obtain a fully-privileged client_credentials token for the OAuth client that issued it, by presenting the user token as an OAuth 2.0 Bearer credential on a client_credentials grant request in place of the client’s configured secret. UAA’s client_credentials handling does not verify that the Bearer credential supplied for client authentication is actually a client credential (a client secret or a valid configured client authentication method); it accepts any valid access token whose client_id matches the request. A token obtained by a normal end user through a public authorization_code + PKCE flow — scoped only to uaa.user, carrying a user_id, and recording client_auth_method=none — satisfies this check. That user token cannot itself administer OAuth clients (POST /oauth/clients correctly returns 403), but when replayed as Bearer authentication on a client_credentials request for the same client, UAA issues a new client-only token carrying the client’s full authorities, such as clients.write. An attacker can use that token

  • Oct 5, 2026Velociraptor allows collection of VQL queries packaged into Artifacts from endpoints.CVE-2026-78413 · Other software · Rapid7 · reported by cve@rapid7.comMedium 5.5

Velociraptor allows collection of VQL queries packaged into Artifacts from endpoints. These artifacts can be used to do anything and usually run with elevated permissions. To limit access to some dangerous artifact, Velociraptor allows for those to require high permissions like EXECVE to launch. The `Windows.Sysinternals.SysmonLogForward` is a monitoring artifact used to forward sysmon events to the server. The artifact allows the user to specify an arbitrary binary path as a parameter, and did not enforce an additional required permission, allowing users with COLLECT_CLIENT permissions (normally given by the "Investigator" role) to collect it from endpoints and run a different binary program than the installed sysmon binary. To successfully exploit this vulnerability the user must already have access to collect artifacts from the endpoint (i.e. have the COLLECT_CLIENT given typically by the "Investigator" role).

In Eclipse Che versions 7.29.0 and later, the GET `/api/scm/resolve` and `POST /api/factory/resolver` endpoints pass an attacker-controlled URL to `URLFetcher.fetch()`, which calls `new URL(url).openConnection()` with no scheme or host allow-list and returns the response body to the caller. Any authenticated Che user can read arbitrary local files via the file:// scheme (including the pod's Kubernetes service-account token at `file:///var/run/secrets/kubernetes.io/serviceaccount/token`), reach internal HTTP services and cloud instance metadata endpoints (169.254.169.254), and have their stored SCM personal access token attached as an `Authorization` header to a host of their choosing. The same credential-forwarding behavior also fires when a victim opens a workspace from a malicious devfile whose `parent.uri` points to an attacker-controlled server, enabling exfiltration of the victim's SCM PAT without direct API access. MISP contains an improper access control vulnerability in its attribute search and paginated attribute view endpoints. When a user queries for soft-deleted attributes (e.g., via the deleted-attributes search or the paginated attribute listing), the application returned soft-deleted attributes belonging to events owned by other organizations to any authenticated user who had visibility of the event. The event detail view correctly restricted soft-deleted attribute visibility to the owning organization and sync-permission users, but the attribute search and paginated view code paths lacked this restriction. Preconditions: - An authenticated MISP user with at least read access to an event owned by another organization. - The user issues a query for deleted attributes (search or paginated view with the deleted filter). Impact: - Confidentiality: Soft-deleted threat intelligence attributes (e.g., IOCs, indicators, context) from other organizations are disclosed to unauthorized users. This may expose sensitive intelligence that the owning organization intended to remove from general visibility. Affected versions: MISP versions prior to v2.5.48.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
