Oct 19, 2026docling-core 2.5.0 before 2.103.0 contains a local file disclosure vulnerability that allows attackers to read local images by supplying plain filesystem paths CVE-2026-112310 · Other software · docling-project · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
docling-core 2.5.0 before 2.103.0 contains a local file disclosure vulnerability that allows attackers to read local images by supplying plain filesystem paths in ImageRef URIs, bypassing the allow_image_file_uri gate. Attackers can submit crafted DoclingDocument JSON or YAML that, when exported with ImageRefMode.EMBEDDED or rendered to HTML, embeds readable local image files as base64 and reveals path existence.

Oct 19, 2026FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform.CVE-2026-111056 · Other software · FOSSBilling · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform. From 0.1.0 until 0.8.7, the unauthenticated POST /api/guest/client/create endpoint reveals whether a submitted email belongs to a registered client because guest signup returns a distinct unredacted error when the submitted email already exists. The trigger is an unauthenticated request to POST /api/guest/client/create with a target email address. An attacker can compare the guest-signup response for a target email to determine whether the email belongs to an existing FOSSBilling client. Box\Mod\Client\Api\Guest::create returns the error after Client\Service::clientAlreadyExists finds a matching record, and the API response exposes that exception message without redaction. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.7.

Oct 19, 2026FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform.CVE-2026-111053 · Other software · FOSSBilling · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform. From 0.1.0 until 0.8.7, the unauthenticated api/guest/system/template_exists endpoint permits path traversal because templateExists uses Path::join on the attacker-controlled file parameter without rejecting .. sequences or verifying that the resolved path remains inside the active theme directory. The trigger is an unauthenticated request to guest/system/template_exists containing traversal sequences in the file parameter. An attacker can submit traversal sequences in the file parameter and observe the returned boolean to determine whether arbitrary files or directories exist on the server. The oracle does not disclose file contents. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.7.

Oct 19, 2026FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform.CVE-2026-111046 · Other software · FOSSBilling · reported by GitHubLow 2.3
FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform. From 0.8.4 until 0.8.6, hasManagePermission fails open for inactive non-core modules because its early return on !isExtensionActive skips the module-access and manage_settings checks. A low-privileged staff account with module-level extension access targets a deactivated non-core module through extension/config_get or extension/config_save. The account can call api/admin/extension/config_get or api/admin/extension/config_save for a deactivated non-core module to read decrypted retained extension secrets and overwrite stored extension configuration. The getConfig function returns the decrypted stored configuration despite the module's inactive state. This residual path remained after the earlier CVE-2026-62962 authorization fix. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.6.

Oct 19, 2026CLI Bridge provides filesystem access within a workspace root.CVE-2026-111045 · Other software · anshupriyan · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
CLI Bridge provides filesystem access within a workspace root. Prior to 0.0.2, a dangling symlink pointing outside the workspace root bypasses resolveSafePath when fs.realpathSync throws ENOENT for a nonexistent target. The fallback resolves only the parent directory and returns the symlink path as safe, so write_file follows the link and can write arbitrary files outside the workspace root. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: ucsi: glink: fix use-after-free of ucsi on remove The pmic_glink client is released by the devres cleanup, which runs after pmic_glink_ucsi_remove() has returned, so its notification callbacks can queue work until then. Work that runs after ucsi_unregister() has been called touches freed state: it dereferences the connector array that ucsi_unregister() freed, or registers and unregisters the instance a second time. Disable both work items with disable_work_sync() before unregistering, and unregister only if the instance is still registered. This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: discard post-EOF pagecache when extending a file via zero range smb3_zero_range() removed the pagecache only for the range being zeroed, so when it extends the file the folio straddling the old EOF - which may hold data dirtied past EOF through an mmap - was never dropped and became visible as file content once the file was extended. Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: flush and commit data before querying allocated ranges The mode 0 / FALLOC_FLCVE-2026-98684 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: flush and commit data before querying allocated ranges The mode 0 / FALLOC_FL_KEEP_SIZE fallocate emulation for small interior ranges in smb3_simple_fallocate_range() issues FSCTL_QUERY_ALLOCATED_RANGES and zero-fills any sub-range the server reports as an unallocated hole, to force block allocation without changing file contents. This is unsafe against Windows servers. Per the Win32 documentation, FSCTL_QUERY_ALLOCATED_RANGES only reports ranges that *may* contain nonzero data and is explicitly not coherent with recently written data: "a call to FSCTL_QUERY_ALLOCATED_RANGES [after writing to a network file] would not necessarily return a correct list of allocated regions. To ensure coherency [...] flush the data to the file" fsx (generic/363) reproduces the resulting corruption against Windows Server 2022: a range is written, an uncached read returns the data, yet the next FSCTL_QUERY_ALLOCATED_RANGES on that range reports it as a whole hole, so the emulation overwrites live data with zeroes. A network trace confirmed the WRITE, the READ returning data and the query returning an empty

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: flush dirty data before zeroing a range smb3_zero_range() emulates FALLOC_FL_CVE-2026-98683 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: flush dirty data before zeroing a range smb3_zero_range() emulates FALLOC_FL_ZERO_RANGE by invalidating the page cache over the target range with truncate_pagecache_range() and then issuing FSCTL_SET_ZERO_DATA to the server. Dirty data was only flushed conditionally, when the range reached or extended EOF. For a purely interior zero range that does not reach EOF, no flush happened, so a dirty folio overlapping the range could be written back to the server after the FSCTL and refill the range that was just zeroed with stale data. Fix this by unconditionally flushing and waiting for dirty data in the range before invalidating the page cache and issuing FSCTL_SET_ZERO_DATA, exactly as was done for smb3_punch_hole() in commit d7d2adcd022b ("smb/client: flush dirty data before punching a hole"); the two paths are structurally identical here. This is observed as generic/363 randomly reading stale data where a zeroed range is expected against Windows Server.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: drain and invalidate before server-side copy/clone cifs_file_copychunk_range(CVE-2026-98682 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: drain and invalidate before server-side copy/clone cifs_file_copychunk_range() and the clone (FICLONE) path of cifs_remap_file_range() do not serialise the destination page cache against the server-side copy the way the other server-side range operations (smb3_zero_range(), smb3_punch_hole(), smb3_collapse_range() and smb3_insert_range()) do. cifs_file_copychunk_range() invalidates the destination range with filemap_invalidate_inode(), which takes and drops the mapping's invalidate_lock internally, so the lock is no longer held when the copychunk ioctl is issued. It also never drains in-flight netfs I/O on the target. The clone path never takes the invalidate_lock at all (only i_rwsem), uses a bare truncate_inode_pages_range() and likewise does not drain outstanding I/O. As a result an asynchronous destination writeback can complete after the server-side copy/clone has run and reinstate stale data over the region just written by the server, corrupting the file. This is the same class of corruption as commit d7d2adcd022b ("smb/client: flush dirty data before punching a hole") and has been seen ra

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: split cifsFileInfo bitfields to avoid shared-byte RMW races The invalidHandle, swapfile, oplock_break_cancelled, offload, and status_file_deleted fields are stored in the same bitfield byte in struct cifsFileInfo, but are updated in different code paths that may run simultaneously, and are protected by different locks. Since bitfield assignments generate byte-level read-modify-write operations, a modification to one flag can overwrite a concurrent modification to another flag. To avoid these races, convert these flags from a bitfield to separate bool fields.

With the stale pointer stmmac_rx_refill() skips the replacement allocation and programs the already-recycled page back into the RX descriptor. Clear buf->page on the napi_build_skb() failure path to keep the buffer lifecycle consistent with the other consumption sites.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix create context out-of-bounds reads smb2_parse_contexts() validates the complete create-context area but does not limit each record to its Next field before dispatching it. A malformed chain can therefore expose bytes beyond the current context to a handler. The QFid handler also used a full response-structure cast although it only reads DiskFileId. The SMB2/SMB3 lease parsers made the same layout assumption: they read LeaseState and LeaseFlags at canonical offsets rather than at DataOffset. A valid non-canonical DataOffset could therefore yield unrelated in-bounds data, while a short DataLength was still accepted. Limit each context to its Next value, reject offsets before the context header, and reject malformed chains. Bound the name range by the current context and do not dispatch a known handler when DataLength is zero. Read the QFid DiskFileId only when the context data covers that field. Parse the lease context from DataOffset and require DataLength to match the v1 or v2 lease_context size used by ksmbd. A size mismatch skips lease parsing without failing the open.

Close the handle after a post-CREATE context parsing failure so the error path releases the remote resource and balances the open count.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: clean up failed cached directory opens open_cached_dir() sends CREATE and QUERY_INFO as a compound request. If the CREATE succeeds but a later command returns an error, the function must retain the CREATE FID so common cleanup can issue SMB2_close(). It also must not treat a response error as a valid CREATE. Validate the CREATE response before using its fields, record the FIDs, and mark the handle open before handling errors from later compound commands. Move the -EREMCHG reconnect handling before response validation so a missing response does not hide the reconnect request. Count the handle when it is marked open; confirmed close responses decrement the counter, while existing close retry behavior remains best effort on transport failures.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: use finish_no_open() for non-regular inodes An O_CREAT open can find an existing symlink or another non-regular inode. cifs_atomic_open() calls finish_open() on it and attaches a cifsFileInfo. Symlink inodes have no CIFS release operation, so the dentry reference held by cifsFileInfo is leaked. FMODE_OPENED also prevents the VFS from following the symlink. Track whether cifs_do_create() returned an open server handle. For non-regular inodes, close the handle if present, remove the pending open, and call finish_no_open() so the VFS can continue the lookup. Do not set FMODE_CREATED unless a regular file was opened. For O_NOFOLLOW with __O_REGULAR, return -ELOOP before the VFS's -EFTYPE check. Defer closing a legacy POSIX handle on a non-regular inode until after inode lookup. This avoids closing it again if lookup fails.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: close completed creates on compound wait errors compound_send_recv() waits for responses in order. If a later wait is interrupted, or if a later MID fails during response synchronization, an earlier CREATE may already have opened a remote handle. The earlier mid is then released without invoking handle_cancelled_mid(), leaving the remote handle open because no FID was copied to the caller. Mark completed earlier mids as cancelled when a compound wait or MID synchronization aborts. Keep their response buffers attached while the MIDs are synchronized, and transfer them only after synchronization of the processed responses, so the release path can inspect successful CREATE responses and queue SMB2_close() after a later failure. Account for a remote open only after the close work is allocated and before it is queued, since the caller has not yet updated num_remote_opens. Mark the create+close compound used by smb2_unlink() so it is not closed again. Non-CREATE responses and compounds that already include a close keep their existing behavior.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: delete compound mids on send failure before unlock When sending a compound request fails, smb_send_rqst() kicks off a reconnect. compound_send_recv() still has those mids on pending_mid_q, but it unlocks the server without removing them first. During reconnect, cifs_abort_connection() walks pending_mid_q and runs each mid callback. With no response yet, those callbacks return credits and drop in_flight. Then compound_send_recv()'s send-error path returns the same credits again. in_flight ends up decremented twice and smb2_add_credits() WARNs. syzbot hits this during SMB2_negotiate when the socket send fails. cifs_call_async() already calls delete_mid() before unlock on send failure. Do the same for compound chains and set cancelled_mid[] so the out: path does not delete them again.

Oct 16, 2026libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session.CVE-2026-68908 · Other software · mz-automation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, Reporting_RCBWriteAccessHandler accepts an RptID longer than 129 bytes in the report-control-block write path. When GI later causes sendNextReportEntrySegment to serialize the report, the function wraps rptIdBuf[130] as a temporary MmsValue and passes it to MmsValue_setVisibleString. The setter's resize path frees the stack-backed buffer, allowing a remote client to trigger an invalid free and server crash by writing the oversized RptID and then generating a report. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2.

libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, checkDataSetAccess reverses the source and destination arguments to StringUtils_copyStringToBuffer while constructing an MMS_ASSOCIATION_SPECIFIC dataset reference. The helper treats uninitialized dataSetRef[130] storage as a source string, causing strlen to read beyond the stack buffer, and then copies those bytes into the caller-owned listName buffer. A remote defineNamedVariableList request can crash servers that have dynamic dataset service enabled and a dataset access handler installed; the advisory also observes caller stack corruption but establishes denial of service as the primary impact. libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, parseUserInformation in src/mms/iso_acse/acse.c checks len for zero before validating the negative bufPos returned by BerDecoder_decodeLength for a truncated long-form length. The continue path therefore swallows the error, reads buffer[-1], resets parsing to the beginning, and repeats the same malformed state. An unauthenticated remote peer can send a malformed AARE PDU during association to cause an infinite CPU loop under a normal allocator or a one-byte out-of-bounds read and process abort when the preceding byte is inaccessible. libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. From 1.6.1 until 1.6.2, a successful MMS ObtainFile operation closes MmsObtainFileTask::fileHandle but leaves the stale non-NULL value in a task marked MMS_FILE_UPLOAD_STATE_NOT_USED. If a later ObtainFile request reuses that task and destination creation fails, MMS_FILE_UPLOAD_STATE_SEND_OBTAIN_FILE_ERROR_DESTINATION cleanup closes the stale FILE object again. libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, alternateArrayAccess in src/mms/iso_mms/server/mms_read_service.c does not validate an alternate-access sub-array range when numberOfElements is greater than zero. An out-of-range MmsValue_getElement call returns NULL, and the sub-array branch passes that value to MmsValue_isDeletable, causing a NULL pointer dereference. The Sunshine Photo Cart – Client Photo Gallery & Photo Proofing for Photographers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.4 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, the attacker can store the malicious payload unauthenticated via the public favorites page and trigger deserialization by viewing any image in a non-viewable or private gallery.

The InstaWP Connect – 1-click WP Staging & Migration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 0.1.4.1 This is due to the plugin registering its admin page via `add_management_page()` using a role name returned by `InstaWP_Setting::get_allowed_role()` as the required capability — which WordPress resolves as a real capability match for any user holding that role — combined with `generate_section_field()` rendering the master API key from the `instawp_api_options` option directly as the `value` attribute of a plain-text HTML input with no additional `manage_options` or equivalent capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to read the plaintext master API key, use its SHA-256-derived secret as a bearer token accepted by the plugin's REST API `validate_api_request()`, and call `POST /wp-json/instawp-connect/v2/auto-login` to mint a 30-second single-use login URL that sets an administrator authentication cookie — fully escalating their privileges.
