Improper Authentication in the social account linking path of the Prowler API in Prowler from 5.4.0 before 5.35.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to obtain persistent access to the account of a user who has not yet registered, because ProwlerSocialAccountAdapter.pre_social_login() in api/src/backend/api/adapters.py links a Google or GitHub login to any existing local account that has the same email address as the one returned by the provider, without requiring that the address has been verified by the provider or on the existing account, and without any other check that both accounts belong to the same person. Self registration is open and the new account is usable at once, because UserViewSet.get_permissions() in api/src/backend/api/v1/views.py grants AllowAny to the create action, ACCOUNT_EMAIL_VERIFICATION is set to none in api/src/backend/config/settings/social_login.py, and the Django ModelBackend checks only the password and is_active, not the django-allauth EmailAddress record. • Oct 14, 2026An authentication and authorization bypass vulnerability exists in F5 NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller (NIC) when configured with the `ExternalAuth` policy oCVE-2026-94197 · Network & remote access · F5 · reported by f5sirt@f5.comHigh 8.7

An authentication and authorization bypass vulnerability exists in F5 NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller (NIC) when configured with the `ExternalAuth` policy or Ingress external authentication. Client-supplied X-Forwarded-Prefix, X-Forwarded-URI, X-Original-URI, and X-Forwarded-Method routing and method headers are forwarded unsanitized into the internal authentication subrequest (handled by the NGINX auth_request directive). As a result, an unauthenticated, remote attacker may spoof request attributes evaluated by the external authentication provider. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers unauthenticated access to protected paths. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.

  • Oct 14, 2026Description NGINX Gateway Fabric has a vulnerability when it renders the spec.basic.realm (and spec.jwt.realm) field of a namespaced AuthenticationFilter verbaCVE-2026-91184 · Network & remote access · F5 · reported by f5sirt@f5.comHigh 8.7

Description NGINX Gateway Fabric has a vulnerability when it renders the spec.basic.realm (and spec.jwt.realm) field of a namespaced AuthenticationFilter verbatim, unescaped and unvalidated, into the shared data-plane nginx.conf as auth_basic "<realm>";. A namespaced authenticated attacker that configures AuthenticationFilter CRD to an HTTPRoute/GRPCRoute on a shared Gateway can craft a realm value that closes the quoted directive and the enclosing location {} block and injects arbitrary NGINX directives into that Gateway's data-plane config.  Impact A remote authenticated attacker can send crafted requests to configure NGINX Gateway Fabric AuthenticationFilter CRD and may be able to read every co-located tenant's mounted secrets, SSRF via proxy_pass, reading the pod ServiceAccount token, or hijacking other tenants' routes. There is no data plane exposure; this is a control plane issue only. • Oct 14, 2026Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-100163 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.4

The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 5.7.2 via the OsCustomerHelper::create_wp_user_for_customer() helper reached from the public process_step_customer() booking step. When the 'Use WordPress users as customers' option is enabled, the helper falls back from email_exists() to username_exists( $customer->email ), which matches any WordPress user whose user_login equals the victim customer's email even when that user's user_email is completely different, and links that WordPress user's ID into the victim's LatePoint customer row (only privileged roles are excluded; Subscriber is allowed). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to take over another customer's LatePoint account — accessing their bookings, service, agent, and calendar data, and having the victim customer's email overwritten with the attacker's on next login — by holding a Subscriber account whose user_login equals the victim's email and submitting an unauthenticated public booking step registration request.

  • Oct 13, 2026Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-97657 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via Malleable Encryption and Bypassable HMAC in all versions up to, and including, 10.8.0. This is due to the use of MAC-free AES-CTR encryption for cart-recovery link tokens — where the 8-byte CTR nonce is carried inside the ciphertext blob and the encryption key is looked up using the attacker-supplied `user_email` GET parameter — combined with an HMAC nonce check in `wcap_email_track_links()` that is only enforced when the `wcap_nonce` parameter is non-empty, allowing complete bypass by omission, and an insecure direct object reference on the decrypted `abandoned_id` with no ownership verification confirming the cart belongs to the email used for decryption. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who possess a single legitimate cart-recovery link (obtained from their own reminder email) to recover the keystream, forge a ciphertext that decrypts to any victim's cart ID, and trigger a call to `wp_set_auth_cookie()` for the victim user — achieving full account takeover of any user who has ever abandoned a cart, including administrators. • Oct 13, 2026Multiple Kasa devices contain an improper authentication vulnerability in the local device-management protocol.CVE-2026-108473 · Network & remote access · TP-Link Systems Inc. · reported by f23511db-6c3e-4e32-a477-6aa17d310630High 8.7

Multiple Kasa devices contain an improper authentication vulnerability in the local device-management protocol. An unauthenticated adjacent attacker may send management instructions to an affected device without adequate authentication or authorization, allowing modification of the device state or management settings. Under certain usage conditions involving interaction between the user, mobile application, and device-cloud service, insufficient protection of account-related communications may also expose account information. Successful exploitation may allow an unauthenticated adjacent-network attacker to perform unauthorized device-management actions and disrupt legitimate user control. Under certain conditions, account-related information may also be exposed, potentially leading to compromise of the associated cloud account.

  • Oct 13, 2026Libreswan has a null pointer dereference bug in the PKCS#7 handling code for IKE certificate authentication.CVE-2026-77207 · Other software · The Libreswan Project · reported by d42dc95b-23f1-4e06-9076-20753a0fb0dfHigh 7.5

Libreswan has a null pointer dereference bug in the PKCS#7 handling code for IKE certificate authentication. When libreswan decodes an IKE CERT payload of type CERT_PKCS7_WRAPPED_X509, it guards the PKCS#7 blob with SEC_PKCS7ContainsCertsOrCrls() and then iterates the certificate list with SEC_PKCS7GetCertificateList(). The two NSS APIs disagree on a SignedData that carries a CRL but no certificates: ContainsCertsOrCrls() returns PR_TRUE (there is a CRL), so the guard passes, but GetCertificateList() returns NULL (there are no certificates). This causes libreswan to dereference a null pointer leading to a crash and restart. A malicious IKE_AUTH packet can trigger this bug, meaning the peer does not need to be authenticated. No remote code execution is possible. Continued exploitation can cause a denial of service.

Libreswan's IKEv2 state machine has a null pointer dereference bug in the EAP handling code for authentication. As a result of inconsistency within the IKEv2 state machine code, this bug can be triggered by any IKEv2 connection, even if EAP is not configured at all. The error is caused by a fall-through where it incorrectly dereferences ike->sa.st_eap which is NULL. A malicious IKE_AUTH packet can trigger this bug, meaning the peer does not need to be authenticated. The bug results in a crash and restart of the pluto daemon. No remote code execution is possible. • Oct 13, 2026Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows attackers possessing a user's stored bcrypt password hash to CVE-2026-63158 · Other software · Omnispace · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.1

Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows attackers possessing a user's stored bcrypt password hash to authenticate as that user without knowing the actual password, caused by the legacy AGORAP_LOG/AGORAP_PASS cookie mechanism treating the stored hash as a directly replayable bearer credential. Attackers can set the AGORAP_LOG/AGORAP_PASS cookies with a stolen password hash to impersonate any user, including administrators, and gain unauthorized access to the application.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
