Aug 14, 2026A flaw was found in Samba's CTDB, the clustered database service used by Samba.CVE-2026-58224 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5
A flaw was found in Samba's CTDB, the clustered database service used by Samba. Insufficient integrity validation of received CTDB protocol packets allows malformed packets containing invalid field lengths, improperly terminated strings, or inconsistent packet sizes to be processed without adequate bounds checking. A remote attacker with access to the CTDB private network may trigger a denial of service through process crashes or excessive memory consumption and, in limited cases, disclose adjacent memory contents.

Aug 13, 2026Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information in an Environment Variable (CWE-526) in Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) can lead to information disclosure via RetrCVE-2026-72648 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coMedium 6.5
Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information in an Environment Variable (CWE-526) in Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) can lead to information disclosure via Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data (CAPEC-37). When ECK reconciles a Fleet Server resource that authenticates to Elasticsearch with a service account token, the token is written into the generated workload specification in cleartext rather than being referenced from the Kubernetes Secret that ECK maintains for the other credentials on the same path. Any principal able to read workload specifications in the affected namespace can therefore read a live Elasticsearch credential, even when Kubernetes RBAC does not grant that principal access to Secrets.

Aug 13, 2026OpenList a file list program that supports multiple storage.CVE-2026-73509 · Other software · OpenListTeam · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6
OpenList a file list program that supports multiple storage. Prior to 4.2.4, the authenticated /api/fs/batch_rename handler in server/handles/fsbatch.go authorizes only the source directory produced by user.JoinPath(req.SrcDir) and validates renameObject.NewName with checkRelativePath, but does not validate attacker-controlled renameObject.SrcName, supplied as src_name, before concatenating it with the authorized path and passing the result to fs.Rename. A user with rename permission can use traversal segments in src_name to make path normalization select a file outside the authorized directory and configured base path, resulting in cross-user file integrity loss, limited availability impact, and file-existence disclosure through success or error responses. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.4.

Aug 13, 2026Cleartext storage in PostgreSQL pgcrypto disabled ciphers allows a user to recover cleartext, via direct observation of the faulty ciphertext.CVE-2026-14663 · Other software · Postgresql · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Medium 6.5
Cleartext storage in PostgreSQL pgcrypto disabled ciphers allows a user to recover cleartext, via direct observation of the faulty ciphertext. The OpenSSL version and OpenSSL configuration determine the disabled ciphers. If the application accepts encrypted data as input, decryption will succeed even with the wrong key. This in turn loses the modest protection from the Modification Detection Code (MDC). Affected functions are pgp_sym_encrypt, pgp_sym_decrypt, pgp_pub_encrypt, pgp_pub_decrypt, pgp_sym_encrypt_bytea, pgp_sym_decrypt_bytea, pgp_pub_encrypt_bytea, and pgp_pub_decrypt_bytea. Versions before PostgreSQL 18.6, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 are affected.

Aug 12, 2026RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust.CVE-2026-73290 · Other software · rustfs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.12, an anonymous ListObjectVersions request in rustfs/src/storage/access.rs that lacks a direct bucket-policy grant falls back to an s3:ListBucket check and returns before the policy_allowed path applies deny_anonymous_table_data_plane_if_needed and RestrictPublicBuckets, so a bucket that permits anonymous listing can continue exposing version listings after an operator enables the public-access control. The bypass affects GET /<bucket>?versions= and can disclose object version metadata even though equivalent GetObject requests are denied. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-beta.12.

Aug 12, 2026RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust.CVE-2026-73289 · Other software · rustfs · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.12, RustFS evaluates the ForAllValues: and ForAnyValue: set qualifiers with the negated string operators StringNotEquals, StringNotEqualsIgnoreCase, StringNotLike, ArnNotEquals, and ArnNotLike using each other's semantics because crates/policy/src/policy/function/string.rs negates the aggregate result after eval or eval_like instead of negating each request-value predicate before quantification. Partially overlapping policy and request value sets can therefore make an Allow condition grant access to an excluded principal or make a Deny guardrail fail, including policies based on jwt:groups and jwt:roles; absent keys also receive the opposite ForAllValues: and ForAnyValue: behavior. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0-beta.12.

Aug 12, 2026The PSA Protected Storage credential backend (subsys/net/lib/tls_credentials/tls_credentials_trusted.c) declared its credential-store mutex as a plain zero-fillCVE-2026-12233 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.9
The PSA Protected Storage credential backend (subsys/net/lib/tls_credentials/tls_credentials_trusted.c) declared its credential-store mutex as a plain zero-filled static struct k_mutex credential_lock; and never called k_mutex_init() on it. A statically zero-filled k_mutex has an uninitialized wait queue (its dlist head/tail are NULL instead of the self-referential sentinels that k_mutex_init/K_MUTEX_DEFINE install). The uncontended lock path does not touch the wait queue, so the defect is latent and serialized use behaves correctly. When two execution contexts contend on the lock, k_mutex_lock() pends the blocking thread on the wait queue via z_pend_curr(), which calls sys_dlist_append() on the zeroed list and dereferences a NULL tail pointer (tail->next = node), faulting the kernel. The lock is held during TLS handshake credential loading and by all credential add/get/delete operations, so a deployment performing concurrent TLS handshakes (for example a server handling multiple simultaneous connections from a remote peer) or a credential-management operation concurrent with a handshake can trigger the dereference. The impact is a denial of service: a deterministic kernel panic

Aug 11, 2026SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system.CVE-2026-73080 · Other software · seaweedfs · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
SeaweedFS is a distributed storage system. Prior to 4.24, VolumeServer.FetchAndWriteNeedle in weed/server/volume_grpc_remote.go fetches a caller-supplied remote endpoint through weed/remote_storage/s3/s3_storage_client.go and writes the response into a needle. The RPC performs no authentication and no target validation, allowing anyone who can reach a volume server's gRPC port to cause requests to arbitrary hosts, including loopback, link-local, RFC 1918, and cloud metadata endpoints such as 169.254.169.254, and read the response. On cloud deployments, this can disclose instance metadata and IAM credentials and reach otherwise unexposed internal services. The volume server gRPC plane is unauthenticated by default, and configuring documented JWT signing keys does not protect this RPC. This issue is fixed in version 4.24.

Apache Polaris did not consistently validate storage locations supplied during table and view registration. An authenticated principal with permission to register a table or view could, depending on the affected release and registration path, cause Polaris to use the catalog's storage credentials to read a caller-selected Iceberg metadata file before verifying that the file was within the catalog's allowed storage locations. If the catalog's underlying credentials could read an object outside that boundary, this could disclose limited information from the object. Polaris could also accept registration metadata located within an allowed location that contained references to storage locations outside the allowed boundary. This second condition did not itself cause Polaris to read the referenced external locations during registration. The demonstrated impact is limited to confidentiality. No unauthorized data modification or availability impact has been demonstrated. The server-side read requires a deployment using S3 credential vending and an object outside the allowed locations that the catalog's underlying storage credentials can read. rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. From v1.51.0 until v1.75.0, the local backend in backend/local/local.go relies on the configurable filename encoder to prevent remote filename data from becoming operating-system path syntax, so a local destination using Slash, None, Raw, or on Windows an encoding that preserves backslash can decode a standard-encoded fullwidth dot-dot component or native backslash form into an actual parent-directory component before filepath.Join resolves it outside the configured local root, allowing an attacker-controlled source object to create or overwrite files outside the selected destination directory as the rclone process. Prior to 1.75.0, a valid but nondefault FTP filename encoding in backend/ftp/ftp.go can restore raw CR/LF immediately before an attacker-controlled path is interpolated into the line-oriented FTP control channel, and github.com/jlaffaye/ftp formats the argument through textproto.Conn.Cmd without rejecting CR or LF, allowing a filename such as victim CRLF DELE other-secret CRLF NOOP to inject an independent authenticated FTP command when the victim copies or syncs to a more-privileged FTP destination. This issue is fixed in 1.75.0.

Aug 5, 2026rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers.CVE-2026-71310 · Other software · rclone · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. Prior to 1.75.0, the shared HTTP CONNECT helper in lib/proxy/http.go parses proxy CONNECT responses with http.ReadResponse over an unrestricted buffered reader, allowing a malicious or compromised configured proxy, or an active on-path actor controlling a plaintext HTTP proxy hop, to send oversized headers that grow memory until the rclone process fails. The affected helper is used by FTP and SFTP proxy connections, and SFTP reaches the parser before SSH server authentication, so target host key validation does not constrain a malicious proxy. This issue is fixed in 1.75.0.

Aug 5, 2026rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers.CVE-2026-71309 · Other software · rclone · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. From 1.40.0 until 1.75.0, rclone serve restic does not correctly reject URL paths beginning with ../ in cmd/serve/restic/restic.go WithRemote, which accepts a leading parent path and passes it to GET, HEAD, POST, and DELETE handlers for configured backends including WebDAV, FTP, HTTP, Memory, and SFTP. An attacker who can access the REST endpoint may read, create, overwrite, or delete objects outside the path configured by the operator when the operator publishes a backend subdirectory and the backend credential can access parent or sibling objects. This issue is fixed in 1.75.0.

Aug 5, 2026A flaw was found in the LDAP storage provider of Keycloak, which is used to federate user identities from external directories.CVE-2026-16071 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.4
A flaw was found in the LDAP storage provider of Keycloak, which is used to federate user identities from external directories. The issue occurs when a delegated administrator performs a search using a specific LDAP entry Distinguished Name (DN). Due to missing validation, the system allows lookups for users located outside the configured search boundary, leading to the disclosure of account information from unauthorized parts of the directory and unintended importing of those users into local storage.

The DHL Shipping Germany for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 4.0.1 does not protect its shipping-label storage directory with server-independent access control, relying only on an Apache .htaccess file, so on a web server that does not honor .htaccess (such as nginx) an unauthenticated visitor can download stored shipping labels (each containing a customer's name and postal address) by requesting predictable filenames.

Aug 4, 2026@langchain/langgraph-checkpoint-mongodb provides a LangGraph.js CheckpointSaver implementation that uses MongoDB for storage.CVE-2026-48121 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by GitHubMedium 6.7
@langchain/langgraph-checkpoint-mongodb provides a LangGraph.js CheckpointSaver implementation that uses MongoDB for storage. Versions 1.3.0 and below are vulnerable to NoSQL injection: checkpoint identifiers (thread_id, checkpoint_ns, checkpoint_id) from config.configurable are passed into MongoDB find() queries in MongoDBSaver.getTuple() without type enforcement. If an attacker supplies an object payload (such as MongoDB operators $gt or $ne) instead of a string, it can be interpreted as a query operator, bypassing thread scoping and leaking checkpoints, including pending writes, across tenants. Applications are at risk if they forward untrusted input into config.configurable without coercing it to strings or validating it against a schema, particularly in multi-tenant or user-isolated setups. Apps that only use server-issued, string-typed identifiers with schema validation rejecting non-string fields are not affected. This issue has been fixed in version 1.3.1.

Aug 4, 2026The Bluetooth host ATT layer (subsys/bluetooth/host/att.c) associates each in-flight ATT TX buffer with its owning channel via the static tx_meta_data_storage[]CVE-2026-11368 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.1
The Bluetooth host ATT layer (subsys/bluetooth/host/att.c) associates each in-flight ATT TX buffer with its owning channel via the static tx_meta_data_storage[] array (data->att_chan = chan). When a buffer's last reference is dropped, its net-buf destroy callback defers the completion handling to the system workqueue (att_tx_destroy -> att_tx_destroy_work_handler -> att_on_sent_cb -> bt_att_sent), where bt_att_sent dereferences the channel and its ATT context (sys_slist_get(&att->reqs)). When a peer disconnects while an ATT PDU (a server notification/indication or any response) is still in flight in the controller TX path, L2CAP tears the channel down in l2cap_chan_del(): it runs the disconnected callback and then the released callback (bt_att_released), which frees the channel slab slot. Because the in-flight buffer is held by the connection TX path rather than the channel's own queue, its deferred destroy work can run after the channel has been freed. The att_on_sent_cb guard intended to drop the stale callback itself dereferences meta->att_chan, which is now a dangling pointer into a freed (and possibly reused) slab slot. A remote peer with an ATT connection can drive this by
