Oct 8, 2026In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, several of the v2 API write paths resolve the target object with a query that can return another project's resource, then wCVE-2026-97147 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREHigh 7.2
In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, several of the v2 API write paths resolve the target object with a query that can return another project's resource, then write to it. An authenticated project member can use this to rewrite and un-publish another project's public action definitions and environments. A project administrator can create a workbook whose embedded ad-hoc action or workflow name collides with a resource of another project, which moves that resource into the caller's project and causes the original owner's subsequent updates of it to fail with server errors. Only deployments exposing the Mistral API are affected.

Oct 8, 2026In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the workflow membership API lets a project that has accepted a share of another project's private workflow create a furtherCVE-2026-93861 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREMedium 6
In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the workflow membership API lets a project that has accepted a share of another project's private workflow create a further membership naming a third project. The new membership row is created with its project_id defaulted to the accepting project rather than the original workflow owner, and thus the owner can neither see nor delete it. The third project can accept this membership (that it had not actually been granted by the owner), and then read and execute the owner's private workflow; only the accepting (not the owning) project can later revoke that access.

Oct 8, 2026In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the /v2/maintenance API controller clears the request context and calls the maintenance service directly without any policyCVE-2026-93860 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREHigh 7.1
In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the /v2/maintenance API controller clears the request context and calls the maintenance service directly without any policy enforcement. Any holder of a valid Mistral token, regardless of assigned role, can read and change the service's cluster-wide maintenance state. Setting the state to PAUSED stops processing of new workflow and execution objects across all tenant projects until an operator restores it.

Oct 8, 2026In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the std.ssh_proxied action passes a caller-supplied proxy_command value directly to paramiko.ProxyCommand() before any SSH CVE-2026-93858 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREHigh 8.7
In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the std.ssh_proxied action passes a caller-supplied proxy_command value directly to paramiko.ProxyCommand() before any SSH connection to a gateway or target host is attempted. An authenticated project member can use the standard action-execution API to submit an arbitrary local command as proxy_command; paramiko starts that command as a subprocess on the executor host under the executor's own service account, independent of whether the SSH connection itself ever succeeds. Only Mistral deployments that permit the std.ssh_proxied action, the default configuration, are affected.

Oct 7, 2026A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the SNMP daemon request handling of Brocade Fabric versions before 10.0.1.CVE-2026-87684 · Other software · Brocade · reported by sirt@brocade.comHigh 8.7
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the SNMP daemon request handling of Brocade Fabric versions before 10.0.1. When processing an incoming SNMPv3 packet, an internal statistics gathering handler copies user-supplied context name data into a fixed-size buffer without properly validating the length of the string. A remote, unauthenticated attacker (under default configuration) can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted SNMPv3 packet, leading to memory corruption, daemon crash (Denial of Service), or potential arbitrary code execution.

Oct 7, 2026A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the security library component of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1.CVE-2026-87676 · Other software · Brocade · reported by sirt@brocade.comMedium 6.9
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the security library component of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. When parsing uploaded X.509 PEM certificates for management display, the system improperly validates the length of the Authority Key Identifier (AKI) extension before copying string tokens into an internal memory buffer. An authenticated user with administrative privileges to import custom certificates can supply a certificate containing an intentionally oversized AKI extension. When the system processes or renders the certificate attributes, this can trigger a stack memory corruption leading to a denial-of-service (DoS) condition by crashing the management daemon.

Oct 7, 2026A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the diagnostic execution utility of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1.CVE-2026-87668 · Other software · Brocade · reported by sirt@brocade.comMedium 6.9
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the diagnostic execution utility of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. When processing command arguments for diagnostic operations, the utility tokenizes user-supplied input into an internal argument array without enforcing boundary checks on the maximum array capacity. An authenticated user with administrative access can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a crafted diagnostic command string containing an excessive number of tokenized arguments. This leads to a memory overwrite resulting in a denial of service (process crash).

Oct 7, 2026Multiple stack-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities exist in the REST API management component of Brocade Fabric OS versions prior to 10.0.1.CVE-2026-87683 · Other software · Brocade · reported by sirt@brocade.comHigh 8.6
Multiple stack-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities exist in the REST API management component of Brocade Fabric OS versions prior to 10.0.1. When processing API request payloads (such as device configuration attributes or port mapping requests) the REST API service fails to properly validate incoming array counts and string lengths against internal buffer capacities. An authenticated attacker with REST API access can transmit crafted, oversized request parameters to induce memory corruption on the execution stack. This may result in a denial-of-service condition (daemon crash) or potential arbitrary code execution within the management process context.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: iptfs: fix stack OOB read in iptfs_skb_reset_frag_walk() iptfs_skb_reset_frag_walk()CVE-2026-98372 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: iptfs: fix stack OOB read in iptfs_skb_reset_frag_walk() iptfs_skb_reset_frag_walk() advances to the fragment containing @offset with an unbounded loop: while (offset >= walk->past + walk->frags[walk->fragi].len) walk->past += walk->frags[walk->fragi++].len; walk->fragi is advanced and walk->frags[walk->fragi] is dereferenced without ever checking fragi against walk->nr_frags. When the requested offset is at or beyond the total length spanned by the walk's fragments, fragi runs past nr_frags and off the end of the fixed-size on-stack frags[MAX_SKB_FRAGS + 1] array, reading out-of-bounds stack memory. The two callers behave differently: iptfs_skb_add_frags() already guards against this with if (!walk->nr_frags || offset >= walk->total + walk->initial_offset) return len; but iptfs_skb_can_add_frags() has no such guard and calls iptfs_skb_reset_frag_walk() unconditionally, so it performs the out-of-range walk. Its own "fragi < walk->nr_frags" bound check runs only afterwards, too late to prevent the read. This is reachable from the receive path: a crafted IP-TFS (AGGFRAG) payload delivered to

Oct 2, 2026Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications.CVE-2026-94544 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From 16.3.0 until 16.3.8, pending use cache fills for the same key are shared without separating Draft Mode requests from regular requests. An overlapping regular request can receive unauthenticated unpublished content from an editor's Draft Mode fill, while an overlapping Draft Mode request can receive published content from a regular fill. When the regular request prerenders a page, the draft-dependent content can persist in the generated page and be served to later visitors until revalidation. Sites are affected when Cache Components or experimental.useCache is enabled and cached functions return draft-dependent content. This issue is fixed in version 16.3.8.

Filament is a collection of full-stack components for accelerated Laravel development. From 4.0.0 until 4.13.3 and 5.8.3, app-based multi-factor authentication management actions do not consistently require confirmation of the current password. An attacker with access to an authenticated user session can set up app-based MFA and obtain recovery codes, or disable app-based MFA and regenerate recovery codes by supplying an existing app code or recovery code, without knowing the account password. Email-based MFA is not affected, and the issue does not independently permit an unauthenticated sign-in, but changing the app-MFA configuration may lock the legitimate user out. This issue is fixed in versions 4.13.3 and 5.8.3.

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the TDDPv2 service (/usr/bin/tddp) on Deco M9 Plus due to insufficient validation of decrypted request data length before it is copied into a fixed-size stack buffer in the subtype 0x91 handler. Successful exploitation may allow an adjacent, unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service or achieve arbitrary code execution during the device setup phase through crafted TDDP packets.

Oct 1, 2026ByteCoreStack – MCP Connector for AI Tools: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-19807 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The ByteCoreStack – MCP Connector for AI Tools plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.3 This is due to the `wp_update_user_meta` MCP tool in `execute_tool` gating writes solely with `current_user_can('edit_user', $uid)` — a check that WordPress core's `map_meta_cap` resolves to the `read` primitive when the target user ID matches the caller's own — while enforcing an incomplete meta key blocklist that covers only `user_pass`, `user_activation_key`, and `session_tokens`, leaving the `wp_capabilities` and `wp_user_level` meta keys entirely unprotected. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to elevate their privileges to Administrator by issuing a `wp_update_user_meta` call over the MCP JSON-RPC endpoint with `key=wp_capabilities` and an arbitrary role array such as `{'administrator': true}` targeting their own user ID, causing WordPress to load that account as an Administrator on the next request.

Sep 30, 2026Algorithm::AhoCorasick::XS versions through 0.04 for Perl read the haystack string length before the scalar is stringified.CVE-2026-80490 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441e
Algorithm::AhoCorasick::XS versions through 0.04 for Perl read the haystack string length before the scalar is stringified. The matches, first_match and match_details methods use the T_STD_STRING typemap to translate Perl scalars (SVs) into strings via the std::string constructor, using the SvPV macro to stringify the haystack input, and the SvCUR macro to determine the length of the SV. When the input SVs are references, integers (IVs) or floats (NVs), the SvCUR macro will return an invalid length if it is run before the input is stringified, leading to an out-of-bounds read which can abort the process. Note that the evaluation order of arguments to std::string is unspecified. Depending on the compiler, SvCUR may be run first and lead to an abort that cannot be caught within Perl. This can be triggered when the haystack is a numeric value, for example, my $ac = Algorithm::AhoCorasick::XS->new( [ "11", "22" ] ); $ac->matches( 211 ); This can occur when the haystack is the result of reading data from decoded JSON or a numeric database column. It can also be triggered when using a blessed object as a haystack.

apcupsd through 3.14.14 discloses uninitialized stack memory in getupsvar() in src/cgi/upsfetch.c (used by upsstats.cgi, multimon.cgi, and upsfstats.cgi. On the single-field path, when the matched STATUS line has fewer than three whitespace-separated tokens, sscanf("%*s %*s %s", answer) performs no assignment but the function returns success, and thus the caller prints the uninitialized destination buffer into the HTTP response.
