Oct 6, 2026External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets.CVE-2026-26287 · Other software · external-secrets · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets. Starting in version 0.10.0 and prior to version 1.3.2, a bug in the `webhook` generator initialization order incorrectly cleared the label-enforcement flag (`EnforceLabels`) after it was set, resulting in the provider-side check for `external-secrets.io/type=webhook` being skipped (and the operation to succeed while it should have failed with `secret does not contain needed label 'external-secrets.io/type: webhook'. Update secret label to use it with webhook`. Version 1.3.2 contains a patch.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: percpu: Fix LSE operations on {8,16}-bit types The assembly for __percpu_##name##_cCVE-2026-98248 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: percpu: Fix LSE operations on {8,16}-bit types The assembly for __percpu_##name##_case_##sz() and __percpu_##name##_return_case_##sz() doesn't use the 'sfx' macro argument to form the LSE instruction. Without 'sfx', a W register argument will imply a 32-bit memory location, and consequently {8,16}-bit ops will erroneously read and write 32 bits of memory when the LSE instruction is used. Fix this by appending 'sfx' to 'op_lse' to LSE instruction. It is not necessary (and not valid) to append 'sfx' to 'op_llsc', as 'op_llsc' is a register-register operation which does not access memory (and does not take a size suffix).

Oct 5, 2026A flaw was found in the HyperShift operator.CVE-2026-101919 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.8
A flaw was found in the HyperShift operator. The operator copies user-provided Kubernetes configuration (kubeconfig) secrets directly into the privileged control plane namespace without proper validation or sanitization. An authenticated user with cluster and secret creation permissions can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a configuration containing unauthorized executable plugins. When downstream controllers consume this configuration, an attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution within the control plane.

In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, NTRU reduced secret values with the % operator in three helpers whose reference implementations are deliberately division-free, so each reduction was carried out by an integer division whose latency depends on the secret operand. Polynomial.modQ divided by a variable divisor, which a compiler cannot strength-reduce to a multiply the way it can a constant one, so it emitted a division on every call including on the decapsulation path where the dividend derives from the private key; Polynomial.mod3 and NTRUSampling.mod3 divided the secret key polynomials f and g during key generation, the message polynomials r and m during encapsulation, and coefficients recovered during decapsulation. An attacker able to measure that timing can recover information about the NTRU private key. modQ now masks, which is exact because q is always a power of two, and mod3 uses the reference implementation's division-free fold and select; the results are unchanged.

Oct 2, 2026Ninja Forms - File Uploads: Arbitrary file operationsCVE-2026-92820 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file operations in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.34 via the external (Amazon S3) upload flow. The plugin trusts an attacker-supplied file path from the form submission and stores it as the upload's file_path, which is then used without validation to attach a file to the form's notification email (arbitrary file read), to write fetched content (arbitrary file write, leading to remote code execution when the external store is configured), and in a scheduled deletion (arbitrary file deletion). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read, write, or delete arbitrary files on the server. Exploitation requires the site to use the plugin's External File Upload (Amazon S3) action; the read variant additionally requires a form Email action configured to attach the uploaded file.

Sep 30, 2026CloudTAK is a browser-based Common Operating Picture and situational awareness tool compatible with TAK.CVE-2026-55177 · Other software · dfpc-coe · reported by GitHubHigh 7.6
CloudTAK is a browser-based Common Operating Picture and situational awareness tool compatible with TAK. Prior to version 13.10.0, every route in the ESRI helper family (api/routes/esri.ts) takes a fully attacker-controlled URL from the request (POST /api/esri body url, and the portal / server / layer query parameters on the GET /api/esri/* routes) and passes it into EsriBase / EsriProxyPortal / EsriProxyServer / EsriProxyLayer in api/lib/esri.ts, which fetch it with the bare fetch from @tak-ps/etl. No IP / DNS / hostname classification is applied at any point, so the destination is never validated against private, loopback, or link-local ranges. Any authenticated user (the routes only require Auth.is_auth(config, req, { anyResources: true }), i.e. any token, not an admin) can therefore make the CloudTAK server issue arbitrary outbound GET/POST requests to internal addresses such as the cloud instance-metadata service (169.254.169.254), loopback admin ports (127.0.0.1:<port>), and other hosts reachable only from inside the deployment VPC. Sep 29, 2026simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript.CVE-2026-102829 · Other software · steveukx · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2
simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 2.0.1 of the argv-parser package, parseEnv omits VISUAL from GitEnvKeys, so prepareEnv drops the value before vulnerabilityCheck can classify it as allowUnsafeEditor. A consuming application that forwards attacker-influenced environment values can therefore allow Git to invoke an attacker-selected editor during operations such as commit amendment or interactive rebase when no higher-priority editor setting overrides VISUAL and Git's terminal prerequisites are met. The executable runs with the privileges of the Node.js process. This issue is fixed in argv-parser 2.0.1.

simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin compares parsed option names with literal dangerous option spellings while Git accepts unambiguous long-option abbreviations. Attacker-influenced push arguments such as abbreviated --receive-pack or --exec forms can therefore bypass detectVulnerableFlags, reach git push against a local or file remote or an attacker-influenced receive-pack target, and cause Git to invoke an attacker-selected command in consumers that expose those arguments. simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin does not completely reject configuration includes supplied through customArgs to git.clone(). The missing include.path classification permits Git to load an attacker-controlled configuration file, and the initial remediation does not cover includeIf.<condition>.path, allowing the same file-loading primitive through a conditional include. A loaded configuration can set an executable Git option such as core.sshCommand, which Git invokes during the clone operation with the privileges of the Node.js process. Sep 29, 2026Issue summary: A non-constant-time optimized implementation of scalar point multiplication is used for SM2 private key operations on ARM64 and RISC-V platforms.CVE-2026-54875 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgLow 3.7
Issue summary: A non-constant-time optimized implementation of scalar point multiplication is used for SM2 private key operations on ARM64 and RISC-V platforms. Impact summary: An attacker able to measure the time taken by, or to observe the cache-line access pattern of SM2 signing or decryption on an affected platform can learn information about the secret scalar. CWE: CWE-208: Observable Timing Discrepancy Description: On ARM64 and RISC-V processors, the SM2 curve uses an optimized scalar multiplication implementation whose conditional branches and table look ups are chosen according to the bits of the secret scalar. The execution time and the cache-access pattern therefore depend on the long-term private key (during SM2 decryption) or the per-signature nonce (during SM2 signature generation), forming a timing and cache side-channel. FIPS Impact: no SM2 is not a FIPS algorithm and the optimized SM2 implementation is not part of the FIPS module. OpenSSL 4.0, 3.6, 3.5 and 3.4 are vulnerable to this issue on AArch64 and RISC-V. Issue summary: The generic elliptic-curve scalar multiplication used for ECDSA and SM2 signature operations with curves that do not have a dedicated implementation leaks information about the secret nonce through timing. Impact summary: An attacker able to measure signing times may learn information about the per-signature secret nonce, which over many signatures can, via a lattice / Hidden Number Problem attack, lead to recovery of the private key. CWE: CWE-208: Observable Timing Discrepancy Description: The generic elliptic-curve scalar multiplication used for curves that do not have a dedicated constant-time implementation pads the secret scalar with non-constant-time BIGNUM operations, so the time taken depends on the value of the secret scalar derived from the ECDSA and SM2 nonce. The leak is very small; observing it requires a large number of measurements. The effect is largest for curves whose group order lies on a machine-word boundary, such as brainpoolP384r1. Applications using ECDSA signing over the Brainpool and other generic prime curves, and SM2 signing on platforms that use the generic implementation, are vulnerable to this issue. Sliver C2 framework version 1.7.7 and earlier contains an unhandled panic vulnerability in the operator gRPC handler that allows an attacker controlling a compromised implant to crash the entire teamserver by returning a malformed or empty Download response. Attackers can send zero-length or 1-3 byte data payloads through a hostile implant session to trigger an out-of-bounds slice access in the vendored Binject library's BinaryMagic function, which propagates unrecovered through the operator gRPC interceptor chain and terminates the server process, affecting all connected operators.

Apache Karaf exposes a JMX MBeanServer guarded by KarafMBeanServerGuard, which enforces role-based access control (RBAC) on MBean operations invoked over the remote JMX connector (RMI registry/server, enabled by default on ports 1099 and 44444). The guard is implemented as a java.lang.reflect.Proxy around the MBeanServer, and only forwards a fixed list of operation names to the RBAC check, defined in MBeanInvocationHandler#guarded: private final List<String> guarded = Collections.unmodifiableList( Arrays.asList("invoke", "getAttribute", "getAttributes", "setAttribute", "setAttributes")); The MBean lifecycle operations MBeanServer#createMBean, #registerMBean and #unregisterMBean are not in this list. Calls to these methods are forwarded directly to the underlying MBeanServer with no role check at all, regardless of the roles configured in etc/jmx.acl.*.cfg. As a result, any user who can authenticate to the JMX endpoint, including a user holding only the least-privileged "viewer" role, can call createMBean() to instantiate an arbitrary class as a MBean, and unregisterMBean() to remove it again afterwards, with no authorization check and no audit log entry (logging in Kara

A code injection vulnerability has been discovered in the Robot Operating System 2 (ROS 2) 'ros2topic' command-line tool, affecting all ROS 2 distributions from Crystal Clemmys up to and including Lyrical Luth and Rolling Ridley. The vulnerability lies in the 'hz' verb, which reports the publishing rate of a topic and accepts a user-provided Python expression via the --filter option. This input is passed directly to the eval() function without sanitization, allowing a local user to craft and execute arbitrary code.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to revoke memory tool access when an operator hot-disables memory configuration.CVE-2026-100539 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.1
OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 fails to revoke memory tool access when an operator hot-disables memory configuration. Existing memory_search and memory_get tool instances retain the enabled configuration captured at creation time because the execution-time resolver treats explicit disablement like an unavailable configuration snapshot and restores the stale authority. As a result, during an already-running agent turn the model can continue searching and reading durable memory after the operator revoked that access, for the remainder of that run. Exploitation requires memory to be disabled while a previously created memory tool remains active. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

The OpenClaw Prometheus diagnostics plugin (@openclaw/diagnostics-prometheus) before version 2026.9.3 does not enforce the operator.read scope on its authenticated metrics endpoint. In deployments using an identity-bearing Gateway authentication mode such as trusted-proxy, a caller whose effective role has no read scope can retrieve the diagnostics document even though ordinary read methods reject the same identity, disclosing operational metrics to an authenticated profile intentionally limited below read access. Shared-secret Gateway callers already hold the documented full operator scope and are not affected. The issue is fixed in 2026.9.3; as a workaround, disable the Prometheus endpoint or ensure every identity that can reach it is intended to hold operator.read.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb/client: invalidate fscache for fallocate range operations smb3_zero_range(), smb3_punch_hole(), smb3_insert_range(), and smb3_collapse_range() modify file contents through server-side range operations. These operations discard the affected page cache, but leave the FS-Cache cookie valid, so a later read may return data cached before the range operation. Fix this by invalidating FS-Cache after outstanding I/O has completed and before modifying the file on the server. Run the following as root on a CIFS mount with fsc enabled and an active CacheFiles backend: bash -c ' MNT=/mnt/cifs FILE="$MNT/repro" # Generate four 1 MiB random blocks: [A][B][C][D]. dd if=/dev/urandom of=/tmp/src bs=1M count=4 status=none # Expected contents after zeroing B: [A][zero][C][D]. cp /tmp/src /tmp/expected dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/expected bs=1M seek=1 count=1 \ conv=notrunc status=none cp /tmp/src "$FILE" # Populate FS-Cache, then discard the page cache.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject resilient lock operations in rbtree callbacks __bpf_rbtree_add() keeps parent CVE-2026-98060 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject resilient lock operations in rbtree callbacks __bpf_rbtree_add() keeps parent and link pointers live across calls to the program-supplied comparison callback. The verifier therefore requires the root's lock to remain held throughout the callback. The helper path enforces this rule for bpf_spin_lock() and bpf_spin_unlock(), but the resilient lock kfunc argument path does not. Since resilient locks may protect BPF rbtree roots, a callback can release the root lock and let another CPU remove and free the node referenced by the in-progress tree walk. The walk then resumes using freed pointers. Reject resilient lock kfuncs in an rbtree comparison callback, matching the existing policy for the spin lock helpers. Resilient-lock-protected trees remain valid when their comparison callbacks leave lock state alone.
