  • Jul 11, 2026Majestic Support – The Leading-Edge Help Desk & Customer Support: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-13262 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The Majestic Support – The Leading-Edge Help Desk & Customer Support Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'val' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.9 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires a valid 'get-smart-reply' nonce, which any Subscriber-level user can obtain by creating a ticket via the public frontend and visiting the resulting ticket detail page, making this effectively exploitable by any authenticated user.

  • Jul 10, 2026Chat Help – Click to Chat Button & Form: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-15291 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Chat Help – Click to Chat Button & Form plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.3 via the REST API endpoints /wp-json/chat-help/v1/leads and /wp-json/chat-help/v1/leads/{id}. This is due to the plugin not performing any authentication and authorization checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, WhatsApp messages, complete geolocation data (IP addresses, city, country, ISP, coordinates), device fingerprinting information (browser, OS, screen resolution), and WordPress account credentials (user IDs, usernames, emails, names) for logged-in users who submit forms.

RestrictedPython is a tool that helps to define a subset of the Python language which allows to provide a program input into a trusted environment. Prior to 8.3, check_function_argument_names() rejected protected guard hook names for regular, variadic, and keyword-only arguments but omitted positional-only arguments, allowing __getattr__, _getitem_, _write_, or _print_ to be shadowed by a local parameter and bypass the embedding application's access policy. • Jul 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack: destroy stale expectfn expectations on unregister NAT helpers sucCVE-2026-53349 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack: destroy stale expectfn expectations on unregister NAT helpers such as nf_nat_h323 store a raw pointer to module text in exp->expectfn (e.g. ip_nat_q931_expect). nf_ct_helper_expectfn_unregister() only unlinks the callback descriptor and never walks the expectation table, so an expectation pending at module removal survives with a dangling exp->expectfn into freed module text. When the expected connection arrives, init_conntrack() invokes exp->expectfn(), now a stale pointer into the unloaded module. Reproduced on a KASAN build by loading the H.323 helpers, creating a Q.931 expectation, unloading nf_nat_h323, then connecting to the expected port: Oops: int3: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI RIP: 0010:0xffffffffa06102d1 init_conntrack.isra.0 (net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_core.c:1862) nf_conntrack_in (net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_core.c:2049) ipv4_conntrack_local (net/netfilter/nf_conntrack_proto.c:223) nf_hook_slow (net/netfilter/core.c:619) __ip_local_out (net/ipv4/ip_output.c:120) __tcp_transmit_skb (net/ipv4/tcp_output.c:1715) tcp_connect (net/ipv4/tcp_output.c:4374) tcp_v4_conn

  • Jul 1, 2026UltraVNC repeater through 1.8.2.2 contains an off-by-one error in the Base64 decode helper used for HTTP Basic authentication.CVE-2026-44042 · Other software · uvnc · reported by 33c584b5-0579-4c06-b2a0-8d8329fcab9cLow 3.7

UltraVNC repeater through 1.8.2.2 contains an off-by-one error in the Base64 decode helper used for HTTP Basic authentication. In repeater/webgui/webutils.c:817, the wi_uudecode() function checks whether the input length exceeds the output buffer with a strict greater-than comparison (>), while the correct check should be greater-than-or-equal (>=). When strlen(authdata) equals sizeof(decode), the decoded output length (approximately 3/4 of input) does not overflow the buffer in current practice because the outer HTTP request bounds constrain the Authorization header. However, the defective check leaves a latent off-by-one condition that could become exploitable if the buffering constraints change. The current risk is limited to a one-byte write at the boundary of a 1024-byte stack buffer under constrained conditions.

UltraVNC through 1.8.2.2 contains an out-of-bounds read in the wide-string to multibyte conversion helper. In rfb/dh.cpp:204, the vncWc2Mb() function passes a caller-supplied WCHAR pointer to wcslen() before any bounds check. If the caller provides a wide-character buffer that is not properly NUL-terminated, wcslen() reads past the end of the buffer until it encounters a NUL wchar, resulting in an out-of-bounds read. Under typical Win32 API usage this requires an abnormal caller contract. Impact is limited to a potential information disclosure from adjacent memory regions or a process crash (denial of service) if the over-read crosses a page boundary.

SeaweedFS before 4.30 reflects the callback query parameter verbatim into responses served with Content-Type application/javascript in the shared writeJson helper (weed/server/common.go), with no callback-name validation, no X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff header, and no CORS allow-list. Every JSON endpoint that uses writeJson - including the unauthenticated master endpoints /dir/status, /dir/lookup and /cluster/status, the volume server /status, and the filer directory listing, all reachable in the default configuration (no -whiteList, no security.toml, bound to 0.0.0.0) - can therefore be loaded cross-origin via a script tag with a chosen callback, letting a third-party web page read cluster topology, volume server URLs and gRPC ports, file identifiers, and directory listings. Because the callback string is reflected at the start of the body and no nosniff header is sent, MIME-sniffing clients may also interpret the reflected content as HTML.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: fix missing zerocopy reference in pskb_carve helpers pskb_carve_inside_header() and pskb_carve_inside_nonlinear() both copy the old skb_shared_info header into a new buffer via memcpy(), which includes the destructor_arg pointer (uarg) for MSG_ZEROCOPY skbs. Neither function calls net_zcopy_get() for the new shinfo, creating an unaccounted holder: every skb_shared_info with destructor_arg set will call skb_zcopy_clear() once when freed, but the corresponding net_zcopy_get() was never called for the new copy. Repeated calls drive uarg->refcnt to zero prematurely, freeing ubuf_info_msgzc while TX skbs still hold live destructor_arg pointers. A flaw was found in the cifs-utils package where the cifs.upcall helper fails to securely drop its root privileges before looking up user information inside a user-controlled environment. A local, low privileged attacker can exploit this by using a crafted request_key payload to trick the root-owned helper into entering a custom environment (namespace) containing a malicious NSS module. This forces the system to load the attacker's controlled NSS Module and configuration, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands as the root user, elevating their privileges and fully compromising the system.

In Steeltoe.Security.Authentication.CloudFoundryBase prior to version 3.4.0, Steeltoe.Security.Authentication.JwtBearer prior to version 4.2.0, and Steeltoe.Security.Authentication.OpenIdConnect prior to version 4.2.0, the JWT signing key cache in `TokenKeyResolver` uses `kid` as the sole cache key without namespacing by authority. In applications with multiple `JwtBearer` schemes pointing to different identity providers, a key fetched for one scheme can satisfy token validation for another. Additionally, cached keys have no expiration, so rotated or revoked keys remain trusted until the application process restarts. Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. In Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint prior to version 4.2.0 and Steeltoe.Management.EndpointCore prior to version 3.4.0, all Steeltoe actuator endpoints default to `EndpointPermissions.Restricted`, which is mappeds to Cloud Foundry's `read_basic_data` permission (granted to Space Auditors and similar low-trust roles). Sensitive actuators including heap dump, environment, and thread dump do not raise this to `EndpointPermissions.Full`, so CF's `read_sensitive_data` permission flag is not enforced for those endpoints. Spring Boot's equivalent Cloud Foundry integration gates these endpoints with `read_sensitive_data` by default. Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint 4.2.0 and Steeltoe.Management.EndpointCore 3.4.0 patch the issue. If an immediate upgrade is not possible, explicitly set `RequiredPermissions = EndpointPermissions.Full` in the options for `HeapDumpEndpointOptions`, `EnvironmentEndpointOptions`, and `ThreadDumpEndpointOptions`; and/or if heap dump, thread dump, or environment are not needed in production, register only the required actuators individually instead

Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. In Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint prior to version 4.2.0 and Steeltoe.Management.EndpointCore prior to version 3.4.0, the `Sanitizer` component in the Environment actuator redacts configuration values by matching the configuration key name against a suffix list. The default list (`password`, `secret`, `key`, `token`, `.*credentials.*`, `vcap_services`) does not cover the standard .NET pattern `ConnectionStrings:<name>` or Steeltoe Connectors' `Steeltoe:Client:<type>:Default:ConnectionString`. There is no value-based scrubbing, so full connection string values including embedded `Password=` and `user:pass@host` segments are returned verbatim in `/actuator/env` responses. Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint 4.2.0 and Steeltoe.Management.EndpointCore 3.4.0 patch the issue. If an immediate upgrade is not possible: On the standard path, remove `env` from the actuator exposure list; add `.*connectionstring.*` to `KeysToSanitize` as a defense-in-depth measure for both paths; and/or require authorization on actuator endpoints.

Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. When Steeltoe management endpoints versions 3.2.2 through 3.3.0 and 4.1.0 are configured to listen on an alternate port (`Management:Endpoints:Port` is configured), the middleware responsible for restricting access to the endpoints uses the `Host` HTTP header rather than the actual network socket port. Versions 3.4.0 and 4.2.0 patch the issue. If an immediate upgrade to a patched version is not possible, add explicit ASP.NET Core authorization (`RequireAuthorization`) to all sensitive actuator endpoints as a defense-in-depth measure independent of port isolation and/or configure the reverse proxy or load balancer to enforce the `Host` header value and prevent clients from setting an arbitrary port.

  • Jun 15, 2026Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data.CVE-2026-48114 · Other software · NCEAS · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data. Versions 2.0.0 and and above contain an unauthenticated SQL injection in the /harvesterRegistration endpoint. HarvesterRegistration.dbInsert() builds an INSERT against HARVEST_SITE_SCHEDULE via string concatenation, using a quoteString() helper that performs raw single-quote wrapping without escaping. Three request parameters reach the sink: unit, contactEmail, and documentListURL. The servlet does not verify a real LDAP identity. Allowing the vulnerable insert to proceed. Since the PostgreSQL backend permits stacked queries via Statement.executeUpdate(), this vulnerability allows full read/write/execute access in the Metacat database context. The vulnerability was remediated in Metacat 3.0.0.

  • Jun 12, 2026SimpleHelp Authentication Bypass VulnerabilityCVE-2026-48558 · Other software · SimpleHelp · reported by VulnCheckExploitedCritical 9.5

SimpleHelp contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the OIDC authentication flow. When OIDC authentication is configured, identity tokens submitted during login are accepted without verifying their cryptographic signature. In a vulnerable configuration, a remote, unauthenticated attacker can submit a forged token containing arbitrary identity claims to obtain a fully authenticated technician session. In some configurations, this may also allow bypass of multi-factor authentication.

Slate Digital Connect 1.37.0 for macOS installs a privileged helper tool, com.slatedigital.connect.privileged.helper.tool, which exposes the XPC service com.slatedigital.connect.privileged.helper.tool2. The helper validates connecting XPC clients by obtaining the client's process identifier and using it to retrieve code-signing information for the process. This PID-based client validation is subject to a time-of-check time-of-use race condition because process identifiers can be reused. A local attacker can exploit PID reuse so that validation is performed against a trusted process instead of the original connecting process. This allows unauthorized access to privileged helper functionality and may lead to local privilege escalation.

The helper validates connecting XPC clients by checking only the subject.OU value of the client's signing certificate and does not verify that the certificate chains to a trusted code-signing authority. A local attacker can sign a malicious client with a self-signed certificate containing the expected organizational unit value and connect to the privileged XPC service. Waves Central for macOS versions 13.0.9 through 16.5.5 contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the privileged helper service. The helper validates connecting XPC clients using the client process identifier (PID) to verify code-signing identity. Because process identifiers can be reused, a local attacker can exploit a race condition between the time a connection request is made and the time the helper performs validation, causing the helper to trust an attacker-controlled process. This allows the attacker to invoke privileged operations, resulting in arbitrary code execution as root. The issue is fixed in version 16.6.2.

  • Jun 9, 2026Helpfulcrowd Product Reviews: Authorization BypassCVE-2026-8499 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Helpfulcrowd Product Reviews plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authorization Bypass via PHP Type Juggling in versions up to, and including, 1.2.9. This is due to the `helpfulcrowd_validate_token()` function using a loose comparison operator (`!=`) instead of a strict comparison (`!==`) when validating the `token` parameter, while the corresponding REST route `/wp-json/helpfulcrowd/v1/update-settings` is registered with a `permission_callback` of `__return_true`, making it reachable by unauthenticated users; submitting a JSON boolean `true` as the `token` value causes PHP's loose comparison to evaluate as equal to the non-empty base64-encoded secret string, bypassing the check entirely. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke `helpfulcrowd_settings_endpoint()` and write arbitrary attacker-controlled key-value pairs directly into the `helpfulcrowd_options` WordPress database option via `update_option()` without any sanitization or allowlist filtering, enabling full unauthenticated modification of the plugin's stored configuration.

Guardrails AI is a Python framework that helps build AI applications. On May 11, 2026 at approximately 6:00 PM Pacific, an attacker published a malicious version of `guardrails-ai` (0.10.1) to PyPI. Aany user who installed `guardrails-ai==0.10.1` from PyPI on May 11, 2026 may be affected. Security researchers identified the malicious package within approximately 2 hours of publication, and PyPI quarantined the repository. Based on our telemetry, Guardrails AI maintainers have observed no requests to Guardrails AI infrastructure originating from the malicious 0.10.1 version, and a review of system and access logs has produced no evidence of user data exfiltration through their systems. Users should upgrade to version 0.10.2 or downgrade to version 0.10.0, both of which are unaffected. Those who installed version 0.10.1 should rotate any credentials accessible from their machine (GitHub PATs, cloud provider keys, package registry tokens, API keys) and audit their GitHub account for unauthorized workflows or repositories.

  • Jun 5, 2026HAX CMS helps manage microsite universe with PHP or NodeJs backends.CVE-2026-46511 · Other software · haxtheweb · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

HAX CMS helps manage microsite universe with PHP or NodeJs backends. Prior to version 26.0.0, an attack chain utilizing Stored XSS alongside dynamic token exposure in the `/system/api/connectionSettings` endpoint allows an authenticated attacker to perform a complete cross-tenant account takeover. The API dynamically leaks the active session's authentication tokens (including the `jwt`, `user_token`, `site_token`, and `appstore_token`) into a global JavaScript variable (`window.appSettings`). An attacker can exploit the XSS vulnerability to force a victim's browser to silently fetch their specific connection settings, extract the tokens, and exfiltrate them to an attacker-controlled webhook.
