Sep 5, 2026libpcap BPF interpreter detects neither reaching the end of the filter program buffer due to lack of a return instruction nor executing a jump instruction with CVE-2026-31912 · Other software · The Tcpdump Group · reported by security@tcpdump.orgMedium 5.5
libpcap BPF interpreter detects neither reaching the end of the filter program buffer due to lack of a return instruction nor executing a jump instruction with an offset that translates to a pointer outside of the buffer. In particular uncommon use cases a crafted filter program can cause the interpreter to try reading the OS process memory in the 32GiB around the buffer on 64-bit architectures and in the entire address space on 32-bit architectures.

Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: don't queue packet path object notifications All file:line referenceCVE-2026-80837 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: don't queue packet path object notifications All file:line references below are against v7.2-rc4 (ac5b0e5651b1). The trace was captured on 7.2.0-rc6-kasan72rc6 (075b74841bd0), where the same lines apply. nft_obj_notify() is exported and reached from the packet path. Its only in-tree caller is nft_quota_obj_eval() (net/netfilter/nft_quota.c:68), which notifies with GFP_ATOMIC while evaluating a rule for a transiting packet, holding no mutex. Since commit 67cc570edaa0 ("netfilter: nf_tables: coalesce multiple notifications into one skbuff") that notification is no longer sent immediately. __nft_obj_notify() queues it onto nft_net->notify_list via nft_notify_enqueue() (net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c:1211), which is a bare list_add_tail(). notify_list has no lock of its own (include/net/netfilter/nf_tables.h:1951), it is serialised by commit_mutex: the six other enqueue sites all run inside a netlink transaction, and the drain in nft_commit_notify() (net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c:10746) does list_del() + kfree_skb() from nf_tables_commit() with commit_mutex held. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: Fix accept list UAF during suspend hci_update_event_filter_sync() walks hdev->accept_list while sending a synchronous HCI command for each remote-wakeup device. Sep 4, 2026llmware 0.4.6 contains an SQL injection vulnerability in the collection-database layer (llmware/resources.py) where filter and lookup values are directly stringCVE-2026-85689 · Other software · llmware-ai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
llmware 0.4.6 contains an SQL injection vulnerability in the collection-database layer (llmware/resources.py) where filter and lookup values are directly string-interpolated into SQL WHERE clauses without parameterization or escaping, in both the SQLite and PostgreSQL backends. The filter validator only checks keys against an allow-list and never sanitizes values. Attacker-controlled filter values reaching the public API via Library.block_lookup and Query.text_query_with_custom_filter / text_query_by_author_or_speaker can neutralize the intended filter to disclose rows the caller was scoped out of (cross-document/cross-collection disclosure); on PostgreSQL the flaw permits boolean- and UNION-based SQL injection.

Sep 4, 2026Grav before 2.0.18 (affected versions <= 2.0.17) contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the Twig sort filter.CVE-2026-85604 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Grav before 2.0.18 (affected versions <= 2.0.17) contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the Twig sort filter. The sortFunc wrapper in GravExtension.php hardcodes Twig's isSandboxed argument to false, so unlike |map/|filter/|reduce, |sort accepts a plain function name inside the sandbox; the remaining denylist misses spl_autoload, which performs a PHP include. An authenticated user with only page-write rights (admin.pages or api.pages.write) can supply a crafted payload (e.g., via form frontmatter rendered by the Email plugin) that invokes spl_autoload through the sort filter, resulting in arbitrary PHP execution as the web server user.

Sep 4, 2026Divi Ajax Filter: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-11613 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Divi Ajax Filter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.2 via the 'custom_loop_template' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. This vulnerability is only exploitable when the loop_templates parameter is set to 'custom-template'.

Sep 3, 2026MISP contains a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event attribute filtering query builder.CVE-2026-85227 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.1
MISP contains a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event attribute filtering query builder. The taggedAttributes and galaxyAttachedAttributes URL parameters were inserted into the query-builder rules without HTML escaping before being serialized as JSON and embedded inside a <script> element. Because JsonTool::encode() uses JSON_UNESCAPED_SLASHES, an attacker-controlled value containing a closing </script> sequence could terminate the surrounding script element and inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. For example, a specially crafted viewEventAttributes URL could contain malicious content in one of the affected filter parameters. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by convincing an authenticated MISP user to follow a crafted URL. Successful exploitation would execute attacker-controlled JavaScript in the security context of the MISP instance and with the privileges of the victim's authenticated browser session. This could allow access to information available to the victim, modification of data through authenticated requests, or other actions permitted by the victim's MISP permissions. The vulnerability is addressed by applying HTML escaping wit

Sep 3, 2026In Eclipse Arrowhead versions from 5.0.0 to 5.2.1 when the MQTT API is enabled with the certificate authentication policy, CertificateMqttFilter parses an X.509CVE-2026-82180 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgCritical 9.5
In Eclipse Arrowhead versions from 5.0.0 to 5.2.1 when the MQTT API is enabled with the certificate authentication policy, CertificateMqttFilter parses an X.509 certificate that the client sends inside the MQTT message payload (the authentication field of MqttRequestTemplate) and treats its Subject DN as the authenticated identity. The certificate is decoded with CertificateFactory.generateCertificate() but its signature is never verified and its issuer chain is never validated against any trust store. Authorisation is reduced to two string comparisons on attacker-supplied data: the DN-qualifier must equal "sy" or "op", and the cloud-name part of the CN must match the server's. Both values are public (the cloud name is in the server's own TLS certificate). An attacker who can publish to the MQTT broker can therefore mint a self-signed certificate with CN=Sysop.<cloud>.<org>.arrowhead.eu, dnQualifier=op, send it as the authentication field, and be authenticated as the cloud's system operator with isSysOp == true. This passes the downstream ManagementServiceMqttFilter (request.isSysOp() → allowed) and gives full management access over MQTT. The HTTP CertificateFilter is not affected

Sep 1, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash widens a relationship's parent(...) scoping filter to match unintended records when the referenced pareCVE-2026-82749 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 5.9
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash widens a relationship's parent(...) scoping filter to match unintended records when the referenced parent field cannot be resolved. Loading a relationship whose filter references parent(...) resolves that expression against the parent record. resolve_parent_in_filter/3 (lib/ash/actions/read/relationships.ex) resolved an unresolvable parent reference (for example when the referenced field was not selected on the source query) to nil rather than failing. A scoping predicate such as org_id == parent(org_id) then becomes an IS NULL match, and a guard like is_nil(parent(org_id)) or org_id == parent(org_id) activates its unrestricted branch, so the relationship returns records the scope was meant to exclude. The fix fails the read with an error when a parent(...) reference cannot be resolved, instead of defaulting to nil. This issue affects ash: from 3.13.2 before 3.32.2.

Sep 1, 2026Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in ash-project ash lets an attacker exhaust node memory by matching a filter that spans multiple to-many relatioCVE-2026-82742 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 5.9
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in ash-project ash lets an attacker exhaust node memory by matching a filter that spans multiple to-many relationships in memory. Ash.Filter.Runtime matches a filter against an in-memory record by first expanding the record into combinations of its related rows. flatten_relationships/2 (lib/ash/filter/runtime.ex) eagerly built the full Cartesian product across the filter's to-many relationship paths, so a record with K to-many relationships of M rows each materialized on the order of M^K scenarios before any predicate was checked. A filter or dataset that reaches several sizeable to-many relationships therefore allocates memory combinatorially and can exhaust the node. The fix streams the expansion lazily and short-circuits on the first matching scenario, bounding the work. This issue affects ash: from 1.29.0-rc0 before 3.32.2.

Aug 31, 2026Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key vulnerability in ash-project ash_phoenix lets an attacker who controls filter form parameters filter across relCVE-2026-82725 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3
Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key vulnerability in ash-project ash_phoenix lets an attacker who controls filter form parameters filter across relationships the resource author marked non-public, turning the returned rows into a boolean oracle over private related data. AshPhoenix.FilterForm resolved every relationship hop in the user-supplied path with Ash.Resource.Info.related/2, which traverses private relationships, and only checked the terminal field for publicity. parse_path_and_field/2 also rewrote a field naming a relationship into an extra path segment, so field=some_private_rel was accepted too. Both path and field come straight from form params, and the resulting ref went to Ash.Query.do_filter/2 without the public-only enforcement of Ash.Filter.parse_input/2. The fix resolves each hop with Ash.Resource.Info.public_relationship/2, rejecting the first non-public hop, and requires the terminal field to be public. This issue affects ash_phoenix: from 0.6.0-rc.1 before 2.3.25.

Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller to receive an aggregate value computed over rows a more restrictive filter should have excluded, disclosing counts, sums, or lists across an authorization or tenancy boundary. AshSql.Aggregate.different_queries?/2 reports two aggregate queries as different only when their filter and their sort both differ. Aggregate queries rarely carry a sort, so two aggregates that share a name but carry entirely different filters compare as identical. The colliding aggregate keeps its name and is treated as already computed, and select_aggregates returns the first-registered variant's value. The same name reaches the builder twice with different filters when actor or tenant context is stamped into each aggregate's query, so a narrowly filtered aggregate can be served the value of a previously registered broad one. Aug 30, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller to bypass a scoping or authorization filter expressed as exists/2 over a relationshCVE-2026-77454 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 5.9
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a caller to bypass a scoping or authorization filter expressed as exists/2 over a relationship that declares both a limit (or from_many?) and a parent(...)-referencing filter or sort. AshSql.Join.related_query/3 skips the caller-supplied exists predicate for such relationships and delegates it to limit_from_many/5. When the relationship's own filter or sort references parent(...), limit_from_many/5 takes a branch that drops both the limit and the predicate, emitting a bare correlated EXISTS with no predicate. The check then matches any record that has any related row. Most severely, when the expression backs a policy (for example authorize_if expr(exists(memberships, user_id == ^actor(:id)))), the actor-scoping condition disappears and the policy passes for any actor with any related row. Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_expect: use conntrack GC to reap expectations This patch replaces CVE-2026-80668 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_expect: use conntrack GC to reap expectations This patch replaces the timer API by GC worker approach for expectations, as it already happened in many other subsystems. Use the existing conntrack GC worker to iterate over the local list of expectations in the master conntrack to reap expired expectations. Check IPS_HELPER_BIT to run GC for expectations, set it on for nft_ct expectation which nevers sets it. Hold the expectation spinlock while iterating over the master conntrack expectation list to synchronize with nf_ct_remove_expectations(). This also performs runtime packet path garbage collection through the expectation insertion and lookup functions while walking over one of the chains of the global expectation hashtables. Unconfirmed conntrack entries are skipped since ct->ext can be reallocated and dying are skipped since those will be gone soon. Set on IPS_HELPER_BIT if the helper ct extension is added, then the new GC worker does not need to bump the ct refcount to check if the ct->ext helper is available. This removes the extra bump on the refcount for expectation timers, this a

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: xt_nat: reject unsupported target families xt_nat SNAT and DNAT target handlersCVE-2026-80664 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.3
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: xt_nat: reject unsupported target families xt_nat SNAT and DNAT target handlers assume IP-family conntrack state is present and can dereference a NULL pointer when instantiated from an unsupported family through nft_compat. A bridge-family compat rule can therefore trigger a NULL-dereference in nf_nat_setup_info(). Reject non-IP families in xt_nat_checkentry() so unsupported targets cannot be installed. Keep NFPROTO_INET allowed for valid inet NAT compat users and leave the runtime fast path unchanged. [ The crash was fixed via 9dbba7e694ec ("netfilter: nft_compat: ebtables emulation must reject non-bridge targets"), so this patch is no longer critical. Nevertheless, NAT is only relevant for ipv4/ipv6, so this extra family check is a good idea in any case. ]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: synproxy: fix unaligned memory access in timestamp adjustment Use get_unaligned_be32() and put_unaligned_be32() to safely read and write the timestamp fields. This prevents performance degradation due to unaligned memory access or even a crash on strict alignment architectures. This follows the implementation of timestamp parsing in the networking stack at tcp_parse_options() and synproxy_parse_options().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: revert ct extension genid infrastructure This infrastructure is not used anymore after moving ct timeout and helper to use datapath refcount to track object use. Revert commit c56716c69ce1 ("netfilter: extensions: introduce extension genid count") this patch disables all ct extensions (leading to NULL) for unconfirmed conntracks, when this is only targeted at ct helper and ct timeout. There is also codebase that dereferences the ct extension without checking for NULL which could lead to crash.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: avoid num_encaps underflow on bridge VLAN untag The DEV_PATH_BR_VLANCVE-2026-80634 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: avoid num_encaps underflow on bridge VLAN untag The DEV_PATH_BR_VLAN_UNTAG case post-decrements info->num_encaps inside WARN_ON_ONCE(). num_encaps is u8, so if it's already 0 the decrement still happens and wraps it to 255. The break only leaves the inner switch -- a later path entry can set info->indev back to a real device, and we end up returning with num_encaps == 255. nft_dev_forward_path() then walks info.encap[] (size 2) up to num_encaps, which means an OOB stack read and a bogus count copied into the route descriptor. Should only happen on a malformed bridge path stack, hence the WARN, but worth handling sanely. Move the decrement out of the WARN. [ While at this, remove the WARN_ON_ONCE since this can only happen with a buggy bridge path stack --pablo ].

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_irc: fix parse_dcc() off-by-one OOB read parse_dcc() treats data_eCVE-2026-80603 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_irc: fix parse_dcc() off-by-one OOB read parse_dcc() treats data_end as an inclusive end pointer, but its only caller passes data_limit = ib_ptr + datalen, which points one past the last valid byte. The newline search loop iterates while tmp <= data_end, so when no newline is present, *tmp is read at tmp == data_end, one byte beyond the region filled by skb_header_pointer(). irc_buffer is kmalloc'd as MAX_SEARCH_SIZE + 1 bytes and datalen is capped at MAX_SEARCH_SIZE, so the stray read does not fault. The byte is uninitialized or stale; if it contains an ASCII digit, simple_strtoul will consume it and produce a wrong DCC IP or port in the conntrack expectation. The extra allocation byte is also a fragile guard: if the cap or allocation size changes, this becomes a real out-of-bounds read. Change the loop and its post-loop check to use strict less-than, consistent with the caller's exclusive-end convention. Update the function comment accordingly.

Aug 27, 2026Frappe 15.11.0 through 16.32.0 stores and renders the workspace card description without XSS filtering.CVE-2026-81731 · Other software · frappe · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1
Frappe 15.11.0 through 16.32.0 stores and renders the workspace card description without XSS filtering. The description field of the Workspace Link doctype is declared with "ignore_xss_filter": 1 in frappe/desk/doctype/workspace_link/workspace_link.json, and _sanitize_content() in frappe/model/base_document.py skips any field carrying that flag, so the value is stored exactly as submitted. frappe.desk.desktop.get_desktop_page returns it unchanged, and LinksWidget.set_body() in frappe/public/js/frappe/widgets/links_widget.js interpolates it into a Bootstrap popover created with html: true, by way of the __() translation helper, which performs no HTML escaping. A user holding the Workspace Manager role can therefore place arbitrary markup in a public workspace's card description and have it execute in the session of any desk user who opens that workspace and hovers the description, including higher-privileged users, allowing session token theft and authenticated requests as the victim. The flag is removed on the development branch but remains present in the shipped 15.x and 16.x release lines, so no released version carries the fix.
