  • Mar 26, 2026ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies.CVE-2026-33632 · Other software · craigjbass · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4

ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to version 4.2.4, two file operation event types — ES_EVENT_TYPE_AUTH_EXCHANGEDATA and ES_EVENT_TYPE_AUTH_CLONE — were not intercepted by ClearanceKit's opfilter system extension, allowing local processes to bypass file access policies. Commit 6181c4a patches the vulnerability by subscribing to both event types and routing them through the existing policy evaluator. Users must upgrade to v4.2.4 or later and reactivate the system extension.

  • Mar 26, 2026ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies.CVE-2026-33631 · Other software · craigjbass · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. In versions on the 4.1 branch and earlier, the opfilter Endpoint Security system extension enforced file access policy exclusively by intercepting ES_EVENT_TYPE_AUTH_OPEN events. Seven additional file operation event types were not intercepted, allowing any locally running process to bypass the configured FAA policy without triggering a denial. Commit a3d1733 adds subscriptions for all seven event types and routes them through the existing FAA policy evaluator. AUTH_RENAME and AUTH_UNLINK additionally preserve XProtect change detection: events on the XProtect path are allowed and trigger the existing onXProtectChanged callback rather than being evaluated against user policy. All versions on the 4.2 branch contain the fix. No known workarounds are available.

  • Mar 16, 2026Webhooks for Craft CMS plugin adds the ability to manage “webhooks” in Craft CMS, which will send GET or POST requests when certain events occur.CVE-2026-32261 · Other software · craftcms · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

Webhooks for Craft CMS plugin adds the ability to manage “webhooks” in Craft CMS, which will send GET or POST requests when certain events occur. From version 3.0.0 to before version 3.2.0, the Webhooks plugin renders user-supplied template content through Twig’s renderString() function without sandbox protection. This allows an authenticated user with access to the Craft control panel and permissions to access the Webhooks plugin to inject Twig template code that calls arbitrary PHP functions. This is possible even if allowAdminChanges is set to false. This issue has been patched in version 3.2.0.

  • Feb 2, 2026A vulnerability in the `lollms_generation_events.py` component of parisneo/lollms version 5.9.0 allows unauthenticated access to sensitive Socket.IO events.CVE-2026-1117 · Other software · parisneo · reported by security@huntr.devHigh 8.2

A vulnerability in the `lollms_generation_events.py` component of parisneo/lollms version 5.9.0 allows unauthenticated access to sensitive Socket.IO events. The `add_events` function registers event handlers such as `generate_text`, `cancel_generation`, `generate_msg`, and `generate_msg_from` without implementing authentication or authorization checks. This allows unauthenticated clients to execute resource-intensive or state-altering operations, leading to potential denial of service, state corruption, and race conditions. Additionally, the use of global flags (`lollmsElfServer.busy`, `lollmsElfServer.cancel_gen`) for state management in a multi-client environment introduces further vulnerabilities, enabling one client's actions to affect the server's state and other clients' operations. The lack of proper access control and reliance on insecure global state management significantly impacts the availability and integrity of the service.

  • Jan 28, 2026Jirafeau normally prevents browser preview for text files due to the possibility that for example SVG and HTML documents could be exploited for cross site scripCVE-2026-1466 · Other software · Jirafeau project · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 6.1

Jirafeau normally prevents browser preview for text files due to the possibility that for example SVG and HTML documents could be exploited for cross site scripting. This was done by storing the MIME type of a file and allowing only browser preview for MIME types beginning with image (except for image/svg+xml, see CVE-2022-30110, CVE-2024-12326 and CVE-2025-7066), video and audio. However, it was possible to bypass this check by sending a manipulated HTTP request with an invalid MIME type like image. When doing the preview, the browser tries to automatically detect the MIME type resulting in detecting SVG and possibly executing JavaScript code. To prevent this, MIME sniffing is disabled by sending the HTTP header X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff.

  • Jan 13, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsnotify: do not generate ACCESS/MODIFY events on child for special files inotify/fanotifyCVE-2025-68788 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsnotify: do not generate ACCESS/MODIFY events on child for special files inotify/fanotify do not allow users with no read access to a file to subscribe to events (e.g. IN_ACCESS/IN_MODIFY), but they do allow the same user to subscribe for watching events on children when the user has access to the parent directory (e.g. /dev). Users with no read access to a file but with read access to its parent directory can still stat the file and see if it was accessed/modified via atime/mtime change. The same is not true for special files (e.g. /dev/null). Users will not generally observe atime/mtime changes when other users read/write to special files, only when someone sets atime/mtime via utimensat(). Align fsnotify events with this stat behavior and do not generate ACCESS/MODIFY events to parent watchers on read/write of special files. The events are still generated to parent watchers on utimensat(). This closes some side-channels that could be possibly used for information exfiltration [1].
