Oct 8, 2026MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-107385 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4, text-protocol escaping always prefixes quotes with a backslash and does not honor the session's NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES mode, including in Connection.escape(). When that mode is enabled, the backslash is an ordinary character, so an attacker-controlled placeholder value can close the SQL string literal and inject arbitrary SQL with the application's database privileges. The vulnerable configuration may be enabled server-wide, through connector initialization options, or with an application-issued SET sql_mode; execute() and batch() use binary protocols and are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4.

Oct 8, 2026MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-107384 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.2.0 until 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4, applications that enable permitSetMultiParamEntries can pass objects whose keys are expanded into a SQL SET clause without being processed by escapeId. An attacker-controlled key containing a backtick can close the quoted identifier and cause the remainder of the key to be interpreted as SQL. This can update columns the application did not intend to expose and can append arbitrary SQL with the database user's privileges. The option is disabled by default, and serialized-object handling used when it is disabled is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4.

Oct 8, 2026MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-107383 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4, the GeoJSON Polygon and MultiPolygon binary encoders size a Buffer.allocUnsafe() allocation from each ring's numeric length before confirming that the ring is an array. A malformed non-array ring can therefore reserve bytes that the writing loop skips, and the connector sends the full buffer through execute() or batch(), disclosing uninitialized Node.js heap data into a database value. The persisted data can include other users' content, session material, database credentials, or TLS key material and may propagate to backups and replicas. The text-protocol query() path is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4.

Oct 8, 2026MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-107382 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.3.0 until 3.5.4, the zero-configuration TLS fingerprint-validation path calls Ed25519PasswordAuth.hash() through Authentication.validateFingerPrint, but Ed25519PasswordAuth.hash() references a seed identifier that is not in scope. Exposure requires a MariaDB server reached over TCP, TLS enabled with ssl: true or an ssl object whose rejectUnauthorized value is not false, a password set, no ssl.ca configured, and client_ed25519 negotiated as the authentication plugin. Under those conditions, a legitimate server, malicious server, or network attacker presenting a self-signed certificate can reach this path and cause a synchronous ReferenceError to escape the socket data handler. Under Node.js default uncaught-exception behavior, the client process terminates, causing denial of service. Configurations using a provided CA, rejectUnauthorized: false, another authentication plugin, or a Unix socket do not reach this vulnerable path. This issue is fixed in version 3.5.4.

Oct 8, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Arbitrary Directory DeletionCVE-2026-17609 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1
The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Directory Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316 via the submit_form function. This is due to insufficient validation of attacker-controlled JSON field declarations against the actual form schema, combined with a non-effective ABSPATH guard that dirname() trivially bypasses by stripping the trailing slash. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to recursively delete arbitrary directories on the server, including the WordPress root directory. Exploitation requires that an administrator has enabled the 'Delete files from server after form submissions' setting, though this is a documented and commonly-enabled feature.

Oct 7, 2026Claude Code validated that a target file path resided within the project working directory at permission-check time, but re-resolved the path at write time withCVE-2026-103435 · Other software · Anthropic · reported by 98a01053-8a31-4f6d-9aa9-252be161adc6High 7.7
Claude Code validated that a target file path resided within the project working directory at permission-check time, but re-resolved the path at write time without repeating that validation. This time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) gap allowed an attacker who could write to the workspace to atomically replace a project file with a symlink, causing Claude Code to follow the symlink and write its output to an arbitrary file outside the project sandbox. Exploitation required the ability to win a race condition against the write operation and write access to the shared workspace, enabling a lower-privileged attacker to redirect benign edits to sensitive files (e.g., shell configuration) in a higher-privileged session. Users on standard Claude Code auto-update have received this fix already. Users performing manual updates are advised to update to the latest version. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: hibernate: pass HVC_SET_VECTORS args to the resume hvc swsusp_arch_suspend_exit() reinstalls the restored kernel's hyp stub vectors with an hvc, but never passes the arguments. x0 is not set to HVC_SET_VECTORS and x1 is not set to the vector address, so the stub dispatch falls through and returns without writing vbar_el2. EL2 is left pointing at the trans_pgd copy of the vectors, a page that swsusp_free() releases right after resume. Set the arguments up the same way __hyp_set_vectors() does. Use of Password Hash With Insufficient Computational Effort vulnerability in danielberkompas cloak_ecto and danielberkompas cloak allows an attacker who holds the hashed values and the configured secret to brute-force low-entropy plaintexts much faster than configured. The dump/1 callback that Cloak.Ecto.PBKDF2 (Cloak.Fields.PBKDF2 in cloak before the Ecto code moved to cloak_ecto) injects into a field module calls :pbkdf2.pbkdf2/4 with config[:size] in the iteration-count position. The :iterations setting is validated but never used. With the cloak_ecto defaults (iterations: 600_000, size: 32) each hash runs 32 PBKDF2 rounds instead of 600,000, so offline guessing of values such as email addresses costs about 18,750 times less than configured. Oct 3, 2026GeoDirectory: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-103913 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The GeoDirectory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the stored latitude/longitude coordinates of a listing in versions up to, and including, 2.8.186. This is due to insufficient escaping and the absence of numeric validation on coordinate values when a listing is saved, combined with the direct string interpolation of those values into a distance sub-expression in geodir_gps_query_part() that is later executed by the public wp_ajax_nopriv_geodir_widget_listings handler when a caller supplies set_post=<pending-listing-id> and sort_by=distance_asc. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

Oct 2, 2026Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96270 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'form_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.13.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload is stored in the registering user's 'submitted' usermeta via update_user_meta() and is only triggered when an administrator opens the affected user record in the wp-admin Users modal, which inserts the unescaped output via jQuery .html().

Oct 2, 2026Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-93428 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.13.1 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view privacy-restricted member profile field values — including fields explicitly configured as owner-only, members-only, or role-restricted — by querying the publicly accessible wp_ajax_nopriv_um_get_members endpoint. The nonce required by the endpoint ('um-frontend-nonce') is emitted to all unauthenticated visitors via wp_localize_script, meaning it provides no meaningful access control and any anonymous visitor can satisfy the endpoint's authentication requirements.

Oct 2, 2026Trivy before 0.71.0 allows directory traversal in Terraform filesystem functions when they try to access pathnames above the scan root.CVE-2026-104994 · Other software · aquasec · reported by MITRELow 2.5
Trivy before 0.71.0 allows directory traversal in Terraform filesystem functions when they try to access pathnames above the scan root. The risk occurs when using misconf scanning on untrusted input (e.g., upon a third-party pull request that contains a Terraform configuration), if sensitive data can be found at those unintended pathnames, and an adversary can then view a sensitive data value within scan output.

Oct 2, 2026PostCSS Selector Parser is a CSS selector parser that integrates with PostCSS but does not require it.CVE-2026-104844 · Other software · postcss · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
PostCSS Selector Parser is a CSS selector parser that integrates with PostCSS but does not require it. Prior to 7.1.6, src/parser.js splitWord() can receive a flat selector as one word token carrying many class or ID indexes because period and hash characters are not tokenizer word delimiters. The uniqs() deduplication and per-index class and ID membership checks repeatedly scan the class and ID index arrays, while a separate Sass-interpolation filtering pass also performs repeated linear scanning. Together, these passes make parsing quadratic in the number of indexes and allow a crafted selector to occupy a synchronous parser thread. The maxNestingDepth guard does not mitigate the issue because the hostile selector can have zero nesting depth. Only consumers that synchronously parse untrusted selectors in an exposed request path are affected; ordinary build-time parsing of trusted sources is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.6.

Oct 2, 2026Memory allocation with excessive size value vulnerability in Apache Directory LDAP API.CVE-2026-102731 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
Memory allocation with excessive size value vulnerability in Apache Directory LDAP API. A malicious peer (or a MITM) can send a small BER-encoded response causing a large memory allocation before any data is received. This can lead to an OutOfMemoryError and denial of service. The client JVM OOMs (OutOfMemoryError bypasses the DecoderException handlers) or pins the large allocation per connection while the attacker stalls. A handful of connections exhausts any heap. The same bytes from an unauthenticated pre-bind client hit any embedding server that did not set MAX_PDU_SIZE_ATTR. This issue affects Apache Directory LDAP API: from 1.2.0 before 1.2.9. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.2.9, which fixes the issue.

Improper certificate validation in the directoryName name-constraint check (PkixNameConstraintValidator.WithinDNSubtree) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows an attacker who controls, or can have certificates issued by, a name-constrained intermediate CA to get certificates accepted by PKIX path validation whose subject distinguished name, or a directoryName subjectAltName, lies outside the CA's permitted subtrees, via a name that places other RDNs ahead of a copy of the permitted RDN sequence, because the check looks for the constraint's first RDN anywhere in the name and compares the remaining RDNs from that position, instead of requiring the constraint to be an initial prefix of the name as RFC 5280 sections 4.2.1.10 and 7.1 require.

Oct 2, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Directory TraversalCVE-2026-15896 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1
The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316 via the parse_request function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The optional 'file_upload_auth' setting defaults to empty, meaning no authentication is required in the default configuration; enabling this setting mitigates unauthenticated exploitation but does not remediate the path traversal itself. Exploitation on Linux requires a real 13-digit timestamp directory to exist, whereas on Windows the traversal works with any hardcoded 13-digit prefix. However, the plugin's file upload response returns the name of the created directory, which means the vulnerability is exploitable as long as file upload is enabled on the form.
