Sep 27, 2026Fleet-maintained app install and uninstall scripts for macOS are generated from Homebrew cask metadata.CVE-2026-101045 · Other software · fleetdm · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.9
Fleet-maintained app install and uninstall scripts for macOS are generated from Homebrew cask metadata. In manifests generated before 2026-08-19, the script generator escaped this metadata at some interpolation sites but not all of them, so cask metadata containing shell metacharacters (for example $(...) command substitution) could be carried into scripts that execute as root on managed macOS hosts. An attacker who could land crafted metadata in an upstream Homebrew cask — without needing any Fleet credentials — could achieve arbitrary command execution as root on managed macOS hosts that install or uninstall the affected Fleet-maintained app; exploitation required the crafted metadata to pass both upstream Homebrew cask review and Fleet's review of the automated ingestion pull request. The fix (fleetdm/fleet#51324) landed in Fleet's ingestion pipeline on 2026-08-19 so that all manifests generated on or after that date escape cask metadata at every interpolation site; because manifests are generated centrally and distributed as pre-built content, remediation applied to all deployments with no customer action, and the code fix is included in Fleet v4.92.0.

In MONAI 1.6.0, PersistentDataset (monai/data/dataset.py) explicitly rejects the combination track_meta=True with weights_only=True, forcing users who cache MetaTensors (the default tensor type in MONAI >= 1.0) to run torch.load(hashfile, weights_only=False). Related cache helpers in monai/data/utils.py also call pickle.loads on cached content and derive cache keys with hashlib.md5. As a result, a local user with write access to a shared or world-writable cache_dir (e.g. /tmp/monai_cache, HPC scratch, ~/.cache/monai) can place a malicious pickle file that is deserialized the next time another user's MONAI pipeline reads the cache, resulting in arbitrary code execution in that user's context. All released versions of the monai pip package are affected; no patched version is available as of the advisory.

Sep 26, 2026The Grav Data Manager plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-datamanager) versions 1.0.1 through 1.4.4 render stored data entries in the item-detail view (admin/templates/CVE-2026-100673 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4
The Grav Data Manager plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-datamanager) versions 1.0.1 through 1.4.4 render stored data entries in the item-detail view (admin/templates/partials/item.html.twig) without escaping, applying Twig's `raw` filter — in some cases after a striptags('<br>') call that PHP's strip_tags() bypasses by preserving allowed tags together with their attributes. An unauthenticated visitor who submits a front-end form whose submissions are saved to user/data can store an HTML payload that executes as JavaScript in the session and origin of an administrator who later opens that entry in the classic admin panel, running with that administrator's privileges and CSRF token. Execution occurs without further interaction for list values (such as checkbox or multi-select fields) and on hover for ordinary text fields. Sites using the Grav 2.0 Admin Next interface are not affected, because it renders the same data through a separate, correctly escaping code path. The issue is fixed in Data Manager 1.4.5.

Sep 26, 2026Netty's HTTP/3 codec (io.netty:netty-codec-http3) from 4.2.0.Final through 4.2.17.Final retains unbounded per-stream QPACK encoder state.CVE-2026-100660 · Other software · netty · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Netty's HTTP/3 codec (io.netty:netty-codec-http3) from 4.2.0.Final through 4.2.17.Final retains unbounded per-stream QPACK encoder state. QpackEncoder stores a queue and a dynamic-table index tracker for every encoded field section that references the QPACK dynamic table, keyed by the peer-controlled QUIC stream ID, and these entries are released only when the remote decoder sends a Section Acknowledgment or Stream Cancellation instruction — not when the HTTP/3 stream completes. There is no limit on the number of tracked streams, field sections, or retained bytes. A remote, unauthenticated HTTP/3 client can advertise a non-zero QPACK dynamic-table capacity, acknowledge the table insertion so the server reuses a dynamically indexed response header, and then omit all mandatory Section Acknowledgments while issuing sequential requests over a single QUIC connection, bypassing concurrent-stream limits and causing unbounded heap growth until the server exhausts memory (denial of service). Fixed in 4.2.18.Final.

Sep 26, 2026Capgo before 12.244.1 contains a cross-tenant integrity vulnerability in the metadata-cleaning worker that trusts image object keys from mutable database rows wCVE-2026-100614 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
Capgo before 12.244.1 contains a cross-tenant integrity vulnerability in the metadata-cleaning worker that trusts image object keys from mutable database rows without validating ownership. An authenticated attacker can place a victim tenant's image key in a row they control, causing the service-role worker to download and re-upload that object with sanitized metadata. Attackers can silently modify metadata in cross-tenant image objects by supplying known victim keys during authorized row updates, bypassing storage access controls through the confused-deputy metadata worker.

Sep 26, 2026ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the ClawHub application/backend: an organization-owned skill retains the ownerUsCVE-2026-100604 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
ClawHub (openclaw/clawhub) contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the ClawHub application/backend: an organization-owned skill retains the ownerUserId of its original publisher, and transfer and lifecycle authorization checks trust that historical user before requiring current organization privileges. An authenticated user who originally published an organization skill can therefore transfer, delete, or restore that skill — taking control of its trusted name and history — even after their organization privileges have been revoked or downgraded. The issue was confirmed at revision cbfee7343ddc867316dd9b3de6fa8856730f9f41; the complete historical affected range was not established. It is fixed by PR #3680, included in revision 8c2de6c506bb4efabe3f0c2ffb8370b9e23d4650, which was deployed to clawhub.ai on 2026-09-11; self-hosted deployments should update to that revision or a later descendant. Sep 25, 2026The @openclaw/slack npm package before 2026.8.1 contains an authorization flaw in its Slack download-file handler: when a file lacks the share metadata used to CVE-2026-100531 · Other software · openclaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
The @openclaw/slack npm package before 2026.8.1 contains an authorization flaw in its Slack download-file handler: when a file lacks the share metadata used to prove it belongs to the requested conversation, the conversation-authorization check fails open. Sep 25, 2026Readwise Reader for Android constructs URLs in its WebView using attacker-controlled metadata without proper encoding or escaping.CVE-2026-18312 · Other software · Readwise · reported by cret@cert.orgMedium 6.1
Readwise Reader for Android constructs URLs in its WebView using attacker-controlled metadata without proper encoding or escaping. The application interpolates untrusted values directly into URL strings and inserts them into the DOM via innerHTML. Because the interpolation occurs without HTML or JavaScript context encoding, a crafted metadata value can break out of the intended URL structure and inject script content. An attacker could supply a document containing malicious metadata that, once synchronized to an Android device and rendered in the Reader WebView, results in execution of injected script content, enabling stored cross-site scripting (XSS)

A flaw has been found in langchain4j up to 1.5.3-beta10/1.11.10-beta18/1.18.1-beta27. This vulnerability affects the function AgenticScopeSerializer.fromJson of the file AgenticScopeJsonSerializationIT.java of the component LangChain4j-agentic. This manipulation causes deserialization. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The attack's complexity is rated as high. It is stated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.5.3-beta11, 1.11.10-beta19 and 1.18.1-beta28 is able to resolve this issue. Upgrading the affected component is advised. The project maintainer kindly explains: "The issue was reported to us privately on 23 July 2026 and fixed in releases published on 29 July 2026. It is tracked as GHSA-gmwr-7wmf-mrjm. Exploitation requires an application to have enabled AgenticScope persistence, which is opt-in, and an attacker who can already write to that store. All maintained release lines have been patched."

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: detach failed sprout device from transaction update list When creating the first metadata chunk for a sprout filesystem, create_chunk() adds the new device to the transaction dev_update_list through device->post_commit_list. If the subsequent system chunk creation fails, btrfs_init_new_device() aborts the transaction and releases the device while post_commit_list is still linked. This triggers a warning in btrfs_free_device() and leaves the transaction list referencing freed memory. Detach the device while holding chunk_mutex before releasing it.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmr: account multicast table and route memory A netadmin in a user+net namespace can create many IPv4 and IPv6 multicast routing tables with MRT_TABLE and MRT6_TABLE. Each unseen id allocates an mr_table via the shared mr_table_alloc(), links it into the per-net list, and leaves it until netns teardown. Those objects were not charged to memcg, so the host unreclaimable slab grows with the table count. Account mr_table allocations with GFP_KERNEL_ACCOUNT and mark the IPv4/IPv6 MFC caches SLAB_ACCOUNT. This matches the established handling of IP addresses, routes and alternate interface names. Unresolved MFC entries are still allocated from softIRQ with GFP_ATOMIC and are not charged. They expire after 10 seconds and are bounded by the socket receive queue; see commit 0079ad8e8dc3 ("ipmr: remove hard code cache_resolve_queue_len limit").

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ufs: create the root dentry after loading cylinder metadata ufs_fill_super() installed sb-CVE-2026-97927 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ufs: create the root dentry after loading cylinder metadata ufs_fill_super() installed sb->s_root before it loaded the cylinder group structures for a writable mount: sb->s_root = d_make_root(inode); ... if (!sb_rdonly(sb)) if (!ufs_read_cylinder_structures(sb)) goto failed; When ufs_read_cylinder_structures() failed, the error path freed the in-core superblock information and set sb->s_fs_info to NULL while sb->s_root stayed installed. get_tree_bdev() then reached deactivate_locked_super(), and because s_root was present, generic_shutdown_super() called sync_filesystem() and the put_super operation. Both dereference UFS_SB(sb), which is now NULL, so a mount that fails only while reading the cylinder groups oopses during teardown. A crafted image whose first cylinder group cannot be read reaches this path. Load the cylinder group metadata first and create the root dentry last, so the superblock is published to the VFS only once it is fully set up. ufs_setup_cstotal() and ufs_read_cylinder_structures() take only the super_block and do not use the root inode, so the reordering is safe.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ufs: validate cylinder group metadata before caching it ufs_read_cylinder() copies the cylinder group index and the rotor positions straight from the on-disk group and caches them without any check: ucpi->c_cgx = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_cgx); ucpi->c_rotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_rotor); ucpi->c_frotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_frotor); ucpi->c_irotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_irotor); They are then used as indices during allocation and free: - c_cgx indexes the cylinder summary array as UFS_SB(sb)->fs_cs(ucpi->c_cgx), so a value past s_ncg writes a 32 bit count outside the s_csp allocation. - c_frotor becomes a bitmap scan start, start = c_frotor >> 3, and then length = ((s_fpg + 7) >> 3) - start. A start beyond the block bitmap wraps the unsigned length to a huge value, so ubh_scanc() walks far past the cylinder group buffers. c_irotor drives the inode bitmap the same way. A crafted image can set any of these freely, turning an ordinary allocation into an out of bounds access. Reject a cylinder group whose recorded index does not match the group being read, or whose r

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/ivpu: Validate firmware log buffer metadata The tracing log headers parsed by fw_log_print_buffer() reside in DMA-shared BOs that the NPU firmware can write to. fw_log_from_bo() validated log->header_size and log->size, but fw_log_print_buffer() re-read those same fields from shared memory afterwards, allowing a TOCTOU where firmware changes them between the check and the use, and making the host dereference out-of-bounds addresses while printing logs. Snapshot the validated values once with READ_ONCE() and pass them down explicitly in a new struct ivpu_fw_log_desc instead of re-reading them from the shared struct.

Notification template Jinja AST whitelist only inspects static Getattr nodes. Dynamic subscripts (job['job'+'_env']) and {% if job.id > 100 %} conditional gating bypass both the AST check and the test-render (stub has small job.id). At runtime, the gated branch executes and exceptions write full tracebacks into notification body, which is POSTed to attacker-controlled webhook URL. Leaks install paths, Python version, source line numbers.

Sep 23, 2026An Improper Authentication vulnerability in the Apache Doris Frontend (FE) meta service allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access internal metadata seCVE-2026-31377 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
An Improper Authentication vulnerability in the Apache Doris Frontend (FE) meta service allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access internal metadata service endpoints. The affected endpoints relied on client-supplied node information for authentication without providing sufficient authentication of the requesting party. Under certain network configurations, a remote attacker may be able to bypass the intended access control and access internal FE metadata interfaces, potentially exposing sensitive cluster information. This issue affects Apache Doris: from 2.0.0 through 2.0.*, from 2.1.0 through 2.1.*, from 3.0.0 through 3.0.*, from 3.1.0 through 3.1.*, from 4.0.0 before 4.0.8, and from 4.1.0 before 4.1.4. Sep 22, 2026MikroTik RouterOS before 7.25beta4 contains an improper input validation vulnerability in the labelled-VPN NLRI iterators of the routing service that allows an CVE-2026-93345 · Network & remote access · MikroTik · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.25beta4 contains an improper input validation vulnerability in the labelled-VPN NLRI iterators of the routing service that allows an unauthenticated on-path attacker to crash the BGP service by sending a malformed MP_REACH_NLRI UPDATE message with a prefix-length value below the minimum valid for a labelled-VPN NLRI, which passes validation while describing a route with a negative-length address portion. Attackers can repeatedly send a single BGP UPDATE packet carrying a VPNv4 or VPNv6 NLRI with an out-of-bounds prefix-length to indefinitely hold down the BGP plane, causing session termination without a NOTIFICATION and triggering a service malfunction on the device. The fix is carried only in 7.25beta4, a development build; the current stable release 7.24.2 and the current long-term release 7.23.5 both remain affected.

Sep 22, 2026Meta Box AIO: Privilege Escalation to AdministratorCVE-2026-13355 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Meta Box AIO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation to Administrator in versions up to, and including, 3.11.0. This is due to a chained flaw: the populate_via_query_string() function in the mb-frontend-submission component unconditionally overrides the form's target object_id from the GET parameter 'rwmb_frontend_field_object_id' without any authorization check, and Form::process() lacks the user_can_edit() check present in render(), allowing unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the post_content of any page with an arbitrary shortcode via wp_update_post(); the mb-user-profile component then directly trusts the 'role' and 'auto_login' shortcode attributes in the injected [mb_user_profile_register] shortcode with no role validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to Administrator. The standalone plugins Meta Box Frontend Submission (in versions up to 4.5.6) and Meta Box User Profile (versions up to 3.11.0) are also affected.

Metaphor Creations Ditty (ditty-news-ticker) before 3.1.70 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Author-level privileges or higher to inject arbitrary HTML elements by supplying malicious wrapper attribute values in layout tags. The ditty_layout_render_tag_wrapper() function inserts caller-supplied wrapper attribute values directly as HTML element names without allowlist validation, bypassing wp_kses_post() sanitization because KSES runs at save time before layout tag attributes are resolved at render time, causing the payload to execute in the browser of any visitor viewing posts or pages embedding the affected Ditty item.
