Sep 3, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: reject a class permission count below its inherited common security_get_permissioCVE-2026-80757 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: reject a class permission count below its inherited common security_get_permissions() maps an inherited common's permissions into an array sized by the class's own permissions.nprim, but class_read() takes that nprim verbatim from the policy image and never checks that it covers the common. A class that inherits a common of N permissions while declaring a smaller nprim is accepted, and on load the common's permissions are written past the class-sized array -- an out-of-bounds heap write. Reject a class whose permission count is below its inherited common's. Well-formed policies, where the class count already includes the inherited permissions, are unaffected.

Sep 3, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: reject a permission value exceeding the class permission count perm_read() boundsCVE-2026-80755 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: reject a permission value exceeding the class permission count perm_read() bounds a permission value by SEL_VEC_MAX but never by the nprim of the owning class or common, which is taken verbatim from the policy image. security_get_permissions() then writes perms[value - 1] into an nprim-sized kcalloc() array, so a class declaring fewer permissions than its largest permission value drives an out-of-bounds heap write. The top-level symbol tables are validated this way; the nested per-class permission table is not. Reject a permission whose value exceeds nprim, which is already set when perm_read() runs. Well-formed policies are unaffected. [PM: tweak comment for line length]

OpenAI Codex CLI for Windows, macOS, and Linux and Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS misclassified certain PowerShell commands as safe because their command-safety parser interpreted PowerShell's stop-parsing token (--%) differently than PowerShell itself. If a user opens an attacker-prepared repository and Codex follows its instructions, Codex can run a file-writing Git command without requesting user approval. On macOS and Linux, exploitation additionally requires separately installed PowerShell Core (pwsh) to be invoked. If filesystem protections permit the write, the command can modify Codex's configuration. If Codex later loads the modified configuration, it can launch an attacker-controlled MCP server and execute code with the user's privileges, allowing it to read, change, or delete files accessible to that account. The approval bypass does not disable filesystem sandboxing; the default filesystem sandbox on macOS and Linux can prevent writes outside permitted locations.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_u32: skip hash tables in u32_bind_class() u32_walk() enumerates both struct tc_u_hnode and struct tc_u_knode through the walker callback. u32_bind_class() unconditionally casts the passed fh to tc_u_knode and accesses &n->res, so when fh is actually a tc_u_hnode, which has no tcf_result member, this results in a slab-out-of-bounds read of res->classid in tc_cls_bind_class(). The issue can be reproduced with the following commands: tc qdisc add dev lo root handle 1: hfsc tc class add dev lo parent 1: classid 1:1 hfsc sc rate 1000kbit tc filter add dev lo parent 1:1 protocol ip prio 1 u32 match u32 0 0 flowid 1:1 tc class add dev lo parent 1: classid 1:2 hfsc sc rate 2000kbit Fix this by skipping hash tables via the TC_U32_KEY(handle) check.

Aug 26, 2026Classified Listing - Mobile Number Verification: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-15985 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Classified Listing - Mobile Number Verification plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.0. This is due to missing server-side Firebase OTP validation in the process_otp_login() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any user with a phone number registered in the plugin's phone table by submitting an arbitrary OTP code and UID through the Firebase OTP login flow. Successful exploitation requires OTP login to be enabled with Firebase selected as the verification gateway, and requires the attacker to know or guess the target account's registered phone number. Administrator account takeover is possible if an administrator account has a phone number registered in the plugin.

Aug 25, 2026Vocos instantiates a class named by a configuration file without restricting which class may be named.CVE-2026-79784 · Other software · gemelo-ai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6
Vocos instantiates a class named by a configuration file without restricting which class may be named. instantiate_class in vocos/pretrained.py takes the class_path value from the configuration, splits it into a module and an attribute, imports the module with __import__, resolves the attribute with getattr, and calls the result as args_class(*args, **kwargs) where kwargs is the config's own init_args mapping. No allowlist constrains the dotted path, so a configuration may name any importable callable and supply the arguments it is called with. Vocos.from_hparams reaches this for each of the feature_extractor, backbone and head entries, and Vocos.from_pretrained reaches it with a remote file: it downloads config.yaml from a caller-named Hugging Face repository and passes it straight to from_hparams. Loading a model from a repository the user does not control therefore executes code of the repository owner's choosing in the loading process. The neighbouring torch.load of the downloaded weights is a separate matter and is constrained on PyTorch releases that default weights_only to true, which leaves this path as the reachable one.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_api: Always acquire rtnl_lock when destroying locked classifiers Another challenge with unlocked filters. There is a short window in tc_new_tfilter where a tcf_proto can be found and briefly referenced by a totally unrelated, unlocked classifier's request and cause a race. Feng created a poc which created this race with two threads, one creating a u32 filter and other a flower filter in the same chain/prio: 1. Both threads enter tc_new_tfilter, both find the chain empty, both drop filter_chain_lock 2. u32 finishes tcf_proto_create("u32") first, calls tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique() -> inserts u32_tp into the chain 3. flower finishes tcf_proto_create("flower") later, calls tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique() -> tcf_chain_tp_find() now sees u32_tp already there, takes a reference on it, destroys flower's own tp_new and returns u32_tp to the caller. Flower then hits the kind mismatch check (because it requested for kind "flower" but tp->ops->kind is "u32") and goes through the errout path which calls tcf_proto_put() on u32_tp. If the u32 thread has already gone through its own errout (its chan

Aug 21, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_route: fix fastmap use-after-free on filter The route4 classifier maintainsCVE-2026-74583 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_route: fix fastmap use-after-free on filter The route4 classifier maintains a 16-slot fastmap cache that stores raw struct route4_filter pointers indexed by (id, iif). The reader (route4_classify) populates this cache via route4_set_fastmap() for every classified packet that hits a filter. The writer (route4_delete, route4_change) clears the cache via route4_reset_fastmap() before RCU-deferred kfree of the filter. This creates a UAF race: 1. Reader walks the RCU-protected bucket chain, finds filter f 2. Writer unlinks f, calls route4_reset_fastmap(), then tcf_queue_work() 3. Reader calls route4_set_fastmap() and writes f into the cache *after* the writer's reset, caching a pointer about to be freed 4. After the RCU grace period, kfree(f) executes 5. Next classified packet on the same (id, iif) tuple hits the stale fastmap entry and reads f->res from freed memory Reproduced with an mdelay(100) accelerator in route4_set_fastmap() and a concurrent add/delete stress test (provided by both zdi and Santosh). Both triggered KASAN slab-use-after-free reports in the route4 fastmap paths. Fix

The HTTPPasswordMgr class in the urllib.request module, along with its subclasses HTTPPasswordMgrWithDefaultRealm and HTTPPasswordMgrWithPriorAuth, did not take the URL scheme into account when matching stored credentials against a requested URL. Credentials added for an https:// URL were also used for requests to the same host over http://, so an attacker able to redirect or downgrade a client to plain HTTP (for example, via an HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect or an on-path position) could capture credentials in cleartext. Credentials added for http:// URLs could likewise be sent over https://. Credential matching is now scoped by URL scheme. Credentials registered with a URL that includes a scheme are only used for requests with the same scheme. Credentials registered with a bare authority (such as example.com or example.com:8080) continue to match any scheme, preserving compatibility with existing code, including proxy authentication. Users who cannot upgrade immediately can mitigate by ensuring that applications never make plain http:// requests to hosts for which credentials are registered, for example by not following redirects to http:// URLs.

Aug 17, 2026WPAdverts – Classifieds: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-11801 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The WPAdverts – Classifieds Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve internal site configuration data exposed by the classifieds-types REST endpoint, including registered post types, labels, associated taxonomies, form scheme metadata, contact options, and custom field meta keys.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_flow: Dont expose folded kernel pointers The flow classifier falls back to addr_fold() for fields that are missing from packet headers. In map mode, userspace controls mask, xor, rshift, addend and divisor, and can observe the resulting classid through class statistics. This allows a tc classifier in a user/network namespace to recover the 32-bit folded value of skb->sk, skb_dst() or skb_nfct(). Align with standard kernel practices for pointer hashing and replace the XOR folding with a keyed siphash (which is cryptographically secure)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_hfsc: Don't make class passive twice update_vf() is called from two places for the same class during a single dequeue when the class's child qdisc (e.g. codel/fq_codel) drops its last packets while dequeuing: 1. The child calls qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog(), which, now that the child is empty, invokes hfsc_qlen_notify() -> update_vf(cl, 0, 0) and turns the class passive (cl_nactive is decremented up the hierarchy). 2. hfsc_dequeue() then calls update_vf(cl, qdisc_pkt_len(skb), cur_time) to charge the dequeued bytes. On the second call the class is already passive, but its child qdisc is still empty, so update_vf() arms go_passive again: if (cl->qdisc->q.qlen == 0 && cl->cl_flags & HFSC_FSC) go_passive = 1; The leaf is then skipped by the cl_nactive == 0 check inside the loop, which does not clear go_passive, so the stale go_passive propagates to the parent and decrements its cl_nactive a second time. A parent that still has other active children is driven to cl_nactive == 0 and removed from the vttree, even though those siblings are still backlogged. They are never d

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atm: reject out-of-range traffic classes in QoS validation Reject ATM traffic classesCVE-2026-72297 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atm: reject out-of-range traffic classes in QoS validation Reject ATM traffic classes above ATM_ANYCLASS in check_tp(). SO_ATMQOS stores the supplied QoS after check_qos() succeeds, so accepting larger values leaves invalid traffic_class values in vcc->qos. That bad state later reaches pvc_info(), which indexes class_name[] with vcc->qos.{rx,tp}.traffic_class. Values above ATM_ANYCLASS cause an out-of-bounds read when /proc/net/atm/pvc is read. Tighten the existing QoS validation so invalid traffic_class values are rejected at the point where user supplied QoS is accepted.

Apache Airflow's serialization layer reconstructed exception nodes by calling `import_string()` on a class name taken from the serialized blob and instantiating it with arguments from the same blob, with no restriction on what could be imported. An operator's `executor_config` reaches that branch, so a Dag author could place a value there that causes an arbitrary callable to be imported and invoked -- for example `subprocess.check_output`, or `builtins.eval` on the `builtins`-prefixed variant. The code runs in the **Scheduler**, which reconstructs serialized Dags in its normal loop with no request involved, and in the **API server**, on any authenticated read of the Dag such as `GET /api/v2/dags/{dag_id}/details`. Both are components the Airflow security model states must never execute Dag-author code, and both hold the metadata database credentials and the JWT signing secret. No non-default configuration is required. This is a **different sink from CVE-2026-33264**, which covered only the trigger branch of the same deserializer: deployments that upgraded in response to that advisory are still affected through the exception branch and must upgrade again. Users are advised to upgrad

Aug 11, 2026GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-19091 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the delete_revision function in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.169. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). By placing post_type=attachment exclusively in the query string to bypass the consistency check, an attacker can convert an auto-draft GeoDirectory listing into a WordPress attachment with attacker-controlled file paths injected into attachment metadata, which the delete_revision handler then dereferences and unlinks without any post-type or path validation.
