  • Jun 30, 2026Editorial Rating – Product Review & Rating System: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12560 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.4

The Editorial Rating – Product Review & Rating System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'Link URL' Field in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The WordPress unfiltered_html capability exemption does not apply here because the payload is stored in post meta (_wpas_er_options via update_post_meta) rather than in post_content or post_excerpt, meaning the restriction affects all administrators regardless of their unfiltered_html status.

  • Jun 29, 2026Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS) vulnerability in leandrocp mdex allows cross-site scripting via unsanitized URL schemes in QuiCVE-2026-54889 · Other software · leandrocp · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 5.1

Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS) vulnerability in leandrocp mdex allows cross-site scripting via unsanitized URL schemes in Quill Delta output. 'Elixir.MDEx':to_delta/2 converts Markdown into a Quill Delta. 'Elixir.MDEx.DeltaConverter':default_convert_node/3 in lib/mdex/delta_converter.ex copies the URL of a link, wikilink, or image node directly from the parsed Markdown into the Delta "link" or "image" attribute without applying a scheme allowlist or any normalization. An attacker who controls the Markdown text can supply a javascript: URL (for example [click](javascript:alert(document.cookie))) that survives verbatim into the Delta attribute. When the Delta is rendered to HTML by a downstream renderer (such as quill-delta-to-html or the Quill client), the attribute becomes an <a href> or <img src>, and the javascript: scheme executes in the browser of anyone who views the rendered content. The link and wikilink cases are the strongest vectors because javascript: in an href executes on click; the image case is lower impact because javascript: in <img src> generally does not execute in modern browsers. This issue affects mdex: from 0.8.3 before 0

  • Jun 29, 2026Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in leandrocp MDEx allows stored or reflected cross-site scripCVE-2026-53427 · Other software · leandrocp · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3

Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in leandrocp MDEx allows stored or reflected cross-site scripting via attacker-controlled Markdown. When syntax highlighting and full info-string forwarding (render: [full_info_string: true]) are enabled, the Lumis adapter copies the value of a code fence's highlight_lines_class info-string attribute, unescaped, into the class attribute of every rendered line. comrak_nif::lumis_adapter::LumisAdapter::parse_custom_attributes in native/comrak_nif/src/lumis_adapter.rs shlex-parses the info string and stores each key=value pair verbatim, highlight_lines_config pulls highlight_lines_class into the per-line class value, and write_highlighted interpolates that value directly into the class attribute of the per-line <div>. A single-quoted shell token preserves an inner double quote through shlex parsing, so a value such as '"><script>alert(1)</script>' terminates the class attribute early and the markup that follows is emitted as live HTML. An attacker who can submit Markdown (through comments, posts, wiki pages, documentation, or any user-generated content) can inject arbitrary HTML and Ja

Mixpost through 2.6.0 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in authenticated users' browsers by crafting malicious OAuth callback URLs with unsanitized error query parameters. • Jun 27, 2026Page Builder by SiteOrigin: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-13295 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via panels_data Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because the nonce and edit_post capability checks enforced during save are both satisfied by Contributor-level users for their own posts, and the panels_data value is stored as post meta — outside the scope of WordPress's unfiltered_html carve-out — meaning no wp_kses fallback prevents the unsanitized WP_Widget_Custom_HTML content from being persisted and later rendered verbatim on the frontend.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
